Hello girls. Three days ago I bought your cartoon (well, or ours))) Something so far without enthusiasm. I tried to cook semolina porridge twice (I bought, in principle, so that I could cook milk porridge for my little one for breakfast), it turned out to be liquid. I put on the program "Milk Porridge" twice, that is, the hour is running out. And in an hour it is still watery. The eldest son drank)))))))) The second time three times in a row included the program. Thickened slightly. Leaves on the stove for 10-15 minutes, but here almost 1.5 hours !!!!!!!!! Maybe a lot of milk. But I took the recipe here.

200 ml milk + 1 tbsp. spoon of semolina, well, salt, sugar, butter.

I cooked rice today according to a recipe from a recipe book. Also, once was not enough. I have included the Milk Porridge program twice. Heating for about 20 minutes. That's when it turned out. Frying generally upset me. I just fried minced meat, carrots and onions for pilaf, stirred for 40 minutes (instead of 15 according to the recipe), and everything just turned pale (how it was cooked). I added water and rice. Pilaf program. Again I had to turn it on twice, as a result, raw rice.

Baking - I baked a honey cake in 30 minutes, charlotte in 45 minutes (I think the photos on the last page)
Jellied meat - does not boil constantly, but light boiling alternates with "silence".
Pizza - ready in 20 minutes, program
Stewing - delicate but not very weak, alternating with five minutes of "silence" and 1 minute of boiling (approximately) the program is very good
Milk - there is a gradual heating and at the end of the boil (milk rose no more than 1 - 1.5 cm), a maximum of 2 liters was cooked.

Hello Oksana. How do you cook pilaf in our multicooker? Thank you in advance.

Fuuuh I figured out with the program "double boiler" everything works, it just starts counting down the same way as in "pasta" after the required temperature is set. In general, the countdown went in 10 minutes, while the water was already boiling for 3 - 4 minutes, probably ...
In short, you need to wait for the countdown, and then put the steam basket with food, or cook eggs like I did in the morning

And for the first time I decided to steam fish. There was frozen pollock. It's good that I was in the kitchen. After the countdown began, five minutes later, foam started flowing through the valve, I rather turned off the multicooker. I wiped everything off (I was afraid that it would close). In short, I cooked by opening the lid. Pearl foam through the holes in the basket. I even changed the water (I thought that fish juice got into the water) and reduced the amount of water. Horror! Now I'm afraid to include this program.

bessna, I don't have such a multicooker, but it seems to me, according to what you described, that it is defective. Can you exchange it?
Slavutchanka
bessna, most likely the cartoon is defective.

I baked a casserole on a multi-cooker 120 gr. 50 minutes, everything was baked well, not burnt. I had Vitek before this mule, so the casserole did not rise so high there.

I called Mvideo, where I bought it, and they can issue a refund if there are obvious defects. I described what I don't like about it, but bring them, we will send them to the service center, we will test it. I read in Neta, with such shortcomings they will not take away. It's like it should be.

At first I was upset, because I took my assistant to the kitchen, but here ... But I decided to try it in other programs. Yesterday I baked a manna. My usual recipe, cooked for 1 hour. True pale on top.I also put it on "Baking" for 15 minutes. The top darkened a little, and the bottom turned out a little harsh. But my boys praised)))))))

So I'm not going to take it to the store yet. I want to make a couple of cutlets today. I'll look at it again)))

He is pale and will be on top - he does not fry a cartoon on top. My porridge cooks great - oatmeal from flakes 20 minutes (with a delay of 10), milk rice 30 minutes. And you have semolina for 1.5 hours. It's something with heat

And you have semolina for 1.5 hours. It's something with heat
Is not a fact. Perhaps bessna simply does not have the same expectations with the result. She did not say that the porridge was raw, she complained that the porridge was liquid. So maybe you just need to change the proportions for a thick porridge? In my cartoon (not Polaris) milk porridge immediately after cooking is also watery, you just need to let them stand a little, and they thicken.
With foam when boiling on steam, it is also not clear where the foam could come from? When water boils on the stove over high heat, it can splash out of the pan, but there is no foam.
And the honey cake turned out to be very good for a defective multicooker.
bessna

I took the semolina recipe here and on other sites. Well, for example, for 200 ml of milk 1 tbsp. l. decoys. After an hour of boiling semolina at the bottom, the milk floats. Stirred. Left on heating for 30 minutes. Opened the same. Once again I put on "Milk Porridge" for 35 minutes. Here it began to thicken a little. Although not like in the pictures with recipes))))

I even decided that it's okay, let it cook for a long time. I will expose the little one in the morning.

But then I found a recipe for stewed liver with prunes. Perked up, went to cook. The onions were not fried at all. I checked the temperature of 160 degrees. I didn't even squirt, I just lay there and became transparent. Minutes 40. My patience is almost exhausted! Well, I think I'll put the stew. I added prunes and liver in pieces (all according to the recipe). An hour has passed, I open it, and the liver is still swimming in its blood !!!!!!!! I dumped everything into a saucepan and onto the stove. After 20 minutes - everything !!!!!!!!!

We go to MVideo today. They said on the spot they will be able to tell whether the heating element is heated there or not.
Lud-Mil @
bessna, and on what programs did you fry the onions and stew the liver?
But of course, in an hour, the liver should be ready for any, something is wrong with your cartoon, why bother, it is better to pass it on for exchange.
bessna

I tried on the program "Frying", "Baking", "Multipovar"!

But it doesn't matter anymore! Fresh out of the store. It turned out that they sold us an additional ceramic bowl Polaris. And it doesn't fit our model !!!!!!! In our multi 3D heating, and the design of the heating element is special. Therefore, the ceramic bowl was heated slightly. Here my onion and liver were slightly warmed up. And I baked the mannik in my native bowl (in the ceramics the bottom is not smooth, I was afraid that the cake would stick). I decided to save Teflon and used mainly a ceramic bowl. That's all!

Well, I ran to cook semolina porridge
bessna
Finally, the semolina has turned out! 20 minutes on the Milk Porridge program. True, I opened and stirred a couple of times (it was interesting how she was there))))) Next time I will not, and for 15 minutes it cools down, it becomes thicker.

today steamed cutlets, made as you do. Only the signal did not wait, as the steam flooded - I inserted a basket of cutlets

So she became the owner of this miracle. Before that I used dex 50. But it turned out that my miracle burned out .. but it's my own fault. And now I was choosing a new one. I stopped at 0520 Polaris. I was very worried, I wanted a miracle. And it happened. I cooked oatmeal in milk. It's awesome. What she wanted. Super. 0.5 multi glasses of oatmeal + 3 multi glasses of milk. And milk porridge for the program. Gorgeous. I did a roast for frying + stewing for 1 hour. Class. Now I put on a drink of milk.
bessna

We must also try to cook oatmeal in milk)))) I have only cooked semolina and rice so far. But I put semolina for 20 minutes (if completely 35 minutes - it turns out thick). And rice is just gusto! How was the roast made?

Today I cooked mushroom soup from Ksenia and baked a quick pie with cabbage according to the viksvik recipe. Everything just worked out super!

Borscht

I cook the beets separately for a couple in another cartoon. Chop the onion, grated carrots. Fry on the Frying mode. Add the tomato and fry a little more. Put meat (I had a piece of frozen chicken), potatoes, cabbage, canned beans (I have homemade), salt. Steamer mode (boils faster than Soup). When it boils, switch to Soup for 1 hour. 10 minutes before the end, add grated beets, bay leaf. When the program is over, add chopped garlic and herbs and leave on the Heat for 10 minutes. The borsch is ready.

Braised cabbage

Onions, carrots, pieces of pork - on the Frying mode for 20 minutes. Add tomato, cabbage. Pour in some water. Extinguishing mode 2 hours. But an hour later the cabbage was raw and I switched to the Baking mode for 40 minutes.
Slavutchanka
I have something with the Oatmeal mode. Cooked several times according to the recipe from the book - excellent. And today - the boil is strong, right up to the lid. And some kind of liquid. Although I put it the same for 20 minutes. I had to bet another 15.
Slavutchanka
When I began to eat oatmeal, in my opinion, I understood why. I used to cook from quick flakes. And this time from the crushed ones.

Liver with buckwheat vermicelli

Multicooker Polaris 0520AD
We set the Fry program for 15 minutes. Fry the onion there for 5 minutes. Then put the pieces of liver there, salt, sprinkle with seasonings and fry and stir until the end of the program. We pour vermicelli there and fill it with hot water so that the horns are almost level with the water, but no more. We expose the PLOV program. Touch program - it will turn off when the water boils away.

You can also in glasses. But this is not enough for me - to wash them longer. In glasses I make myself in a yogurt maker from 0.5% milk - there is 1 liter. And in a cartoon made of milk, it is fatter for the husband and for dishes - by 2 liters at once. More is possible. Then you need more Activia
bessna
What is most interesting, yesterday I specially looked at the activity without additives in the supermarket - no! And in general, no yoghurts without flavors and flavorings.

I do on Activia with additives (mainly Bran - cereals) - I don't like the Classic. For 2 liters, one box - and you don't feel it. But not so sour

In Polaris on Multipovar I liked the stew more than in SV on the same program - the vegetables are whole, all the water has boiled away. Even fried a little. We must try to stew the cabbage like this.

girls, I don't know if I need to ask for help to decide. a choice between this model and the 517, it seems like they are similar, but ... as far as I understand, the 520 has one touch mode, the 517 has none?
from the information read such a mess in my head that I come to the stage of "brain explosion". tell me why this model is good and what is better not to cook in it.
owners of 520 show a photo of the screen during the work period or tell me, please, where to see how much I understood it without backlighting and with small print.
Hello!!! so busy looking that she even forgot to say hello.
Slavutchanka

The screen is not backlit, but the font is normal (small in 0510). In 0517, a ceramic bowl quickly fails (it was already burned on another cartoon) I also chose between these two. Stopped at 0520 and have no regrets. Touch modes 2 - pilaf and rice (in 0517 I don't know)

And I also asked the girls here. Here's the answer

About 0517 this is for girls in the relevant topic you need to ask

But I can answer from my point of view, I also chose ... I stopped at 0520 because -
There is a delayed start on all programs (in 0517 it is not on the multi-cook in the latest improved models)
The bowl at 0520 is simply gorgeous and doesn’t think to stick, but it’s hard to pick up a spare because of the rounded bottom, and for baking I don’t like this bottom either.
0520 has more programs (although this is not essential).
At 0520, the adjustable temperature step is 5 degrees (at 0517 10 degrees).
At 0520, the step of the adjustable time on a multi-brew is 1 minute (at 0517 5 minutes)
In 0520 there is a "languishing" program, a chic increase in temperature in four stages gradually.
0520 has one sensor program "rice" (0517 has no sensor programs)
Milk porridge never runs away from us (I can't say anything about 0517, maybe too)

What kind of mixture?

Non-stick mixture:

1 tbsp. ghee (melted) (or other fat)
1 tbsp. flour (any)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

You can make 1/2 serving.
Mix all. And beat with a mixer, first at low speed, then at high speed, until the volume increases and all components are well combined.
Then store in the refrigerator (stored for a long time, consumed slowly).
Lubricate any forms with a brush, with a mixture of their refrigerator (no need to melt).
ARTEMIDA
Slavutchanka, thanks for the answer. tell me more please, read on another forum that baking is bad at 520? in the process of work, there are some problems with the steam (it comes out not only from the valve, but from under the lid too), and it happens that the latch on the lid may not work well (a sound is created when opening) or completely jammed. You have not noticed such problems at home ???
Slavutchanka

With steam, with a latch and with baking, I had problems. The cartoon got defective. Has passed. I bought it in another store. Steam and latch are fine. With baking, something is already happening - you need to pick up time. I bake in another cartoon for 50 - 60 minutes. And in this 35 -40. But so far only a biscuit has turned out. So I'm experimenting. But baking is a sore spot.

Vanillin
Poppy 25 g
Mix semolina with poppy seeds and pour them with kefir (yogurt), mix thoroughly and leave to swell for about 30 minutes.
Beat eggs with sugar in a foam mixer.
Add melted margarine, vanillin, baking powder
Mix everything thoroughly and pour into a greased bowl
