and what's in there ? I haven't tried it yet ... I'm just going ...

A friend has a model 253 and sometimes it happens that the additives do not fall into the mold, but wake up inside the oven and burn, especially when the raisins are smallish or sticky.
Rina
Congratulations!!! heartily!!!
and I went wheat and oatmeal ... mine liked my experiment)))
marlanca

Rina
Guys, I'm slow-minded .. I hardly know what and where ... where are the recipes for simple bread, etc. .. where is it better to throw my experiment?
Korata
If yeast - then yeast))) if sourdough - then there)) If this is something not bread at all, then just dough)
Ivan
In general, if you want to know, the program French bread in bread makers is a lie, marketing, a publicity stunt like there are many programs in our oven, in fact, fr. bread must necessarily be cooked in a spacious gas or electric oven with convection !!!, it is not cooked in a deep form and must be blown, that is, spaciousness when baking.
begasik
: DURA !!! the first bread is ready .....: :) and it turned out great ......... The kids didn’t wait until it cooled down and ate a crust ..
Rina
so I now baked the zlebushkas 4 zalaka-recipe laid out) specially for the eldest to school, otherwise today he cut the sandwiches - everyone wanted bread)) let him take it, they will eat there at breakfast with tea))))
there is nothing more pleasant than looking at children with appetite)))
marlanca
begasik Svetik !!! Hurray, I'm so happy for you, everything worked out, rose high?
Did you open the lid during the program? .........
begasik
: o My first bread went to work with a bang, so I understand that it will live until the morning just be taken to work ...
Korata
I made apple bread the next morning. My son had breakfast without me. He ate 3 pieces of tea and did not want to eat anything else until lunchtime. It turned out to be delicious and very satisfying.
begasik
marlanca))) Everything turned out I went up high, although I baked average ... During the program, I opened the lid a couple of times, but only spied on the batch ..... I wanted to take a picture, but as luck would have it, the batteries ran out ...
begasik
Korata))) And you can ask for the Apple bread recipe, it's a very tasty name ... Thanks in advance ...
marlanca
Korata And where I took the apple recipe, I overcame the recipes, Rina says she laid it out, but I didn't see her at all, we can be happy (that I finally bought the stove) my eyes are looking in the wrong direction ....... ....

there is a lot of other tasty things))
The only thing - the weight is given in cups - In a cup, 240 ml or 150 g of wheat flour ..

In apple bread, the apple itself is not noticeable. For some reason we expected to feel it in pieces)) But it tastes very much)) And I replaced half of the water with juice (at home there was a peach one))) Very fragrant and tasty)))
begasik
Thank you very much for the reference, I'll take a look now !!! Tomorrow I will still experiment, I want to try to bake rye ...

marlanca
Korata Great, tomorrow we are waiting with a report ........

Good day.
Can you please tell me if the control buttons are Russified in SD-255?
Is it possible in this model to fill up additives by a sound signal or only using a dispenser. On one of the sites, in the description of the bread machine, the presence of a sound signal is indicated, only it is not clear in which case it sounds. Is it possible to pour cheese into the dispenser (they wrote about 253 that it melts and does not fall into the dough).

No - the buttons are not russified and it does not give a signal - it does everything automatically. You can only navigate by time. The audible signal is given by the model 207, which does not have a dispenser. I haven't tried it myself yet. It will hardly melt, because it will still be added to the batch BEFORE baking, that is, the temperature will not rise so much, but only for heat for the yeast. If you are afraid, throw it right away along with all the components.
Ivan
Buttons for 255 ARE RUSSIFIED !!!

If someone's buttons are NOT russified, then you have a "gray" one, unofficially brought to Russia. You can make sure by calling the Panasonic representative 🔗

Hello to all bakers! In two days I read almost all the topics, but I did not understand. At 253, if you make dough on dumplings in pizza mode, do you need to turn it off (oven) before, or let it chat in full? And does the oven withstand the load it does not provide? (the dough should be cool)

I would say this: do not turn off before NEED TO, a CAN... Indeed, in the “pizza” mode, time is allotted for the rise of the dough, and the dumplings without yeast, therefore, does not need to rise. Determine experimentally when the last batch ends, and you can safely get the dough out of the oven. And if you have time to wait, or the filling is not yet ready, then let yourself have an extra 15 minutes and fit. There will be no harm to the dough.

On Friday I ordered through the Panasonic SD 255 online store
On Saturday they brought in, after 5 hours they were already eating their first bread. The simplest and most delicious. I liked the bread maker very much, beautiful design, works silently, many programs. If anyone else chooses a stove model, I advise you to buy a 255 model. It's cheaper via the Internet, and you don't need to run around the shops, carry 7 kg on yourself.
I photographed my first pastries. A little later I will definitely post pictures.
breke
Yesterday I took 255. The first pastry was not photographed, but eaten, it was white with seeds
Observations and questions:
- it is good to use a bread maker instead of an alarm clock. As soon as the smell went, it was impossible to fall asleep at all. And I don't feel like eating, but teasing. An invigorating start to the day

- about how much to hang in grams - 255 recipes are given both in spoons (for salt-yeast-sugar) and in grams (for flour). Probably, in grams it turns out more accurately, sifted and felted flour in a cup will obviously have different amounts. What does the collective mind say - put everything in cups to speed up the process, or use a scale for a more accurate result?

- does sifting flour affect the result?

- the instructions say "get it out immediately after the end of baking", otherwise the fumes will soak everything, the edges will shrink. On the other hand, there is a heat preservation mode. What does the omniscient All do?

- correctly managed to cut only with a saw-knife. It's forever? What knives do you use to cut the finished bread?

- if flour is not added, and the regime is to use "diet bread" (the rise time increases) - the bread turns out to be high and fluffy

if you sift the flour, the baking is always more airy and fluffy)))

Dear owners of Panasonic SD 255 (as well as Panasonic SD 253), please tell me if these bread makers have function of programming the kneading and baking process as in the DeLonghi BDM 125 S oven (described by SAPetrovich in the topic Problems during the first attempts to bake bread p. 2 https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...mf&Itemid=26&topic=293.15)
I was about to buy a Panasonic 253, but after reading SAPetrovich's message, the possibility of setting my own program indicating the time temperature, etc. made me think
By the way, in the course of the question to SAPetrovich, did you manage to repair the stove and what happened to it?

Thanks in advance
Hedgehog
Hello everybody!
I bought a stove today. I tried it. Here's how it happened:
🔗

But my question is. A 300ml measuring cup is included, and in recipes, flour is in grams. I read that there is about 150 grams of flour in a glass, and then I read that it is in a 240 grams glass. No scales yet.
Can anyone tell you exactly how many grams of flour are in the 300ml glass that comes with the 255 model ??? I apologize if it was somewhere, I didn't find it.

Now I specifically went to check: Both times I poured the glass to the top, removing the remains with a knife.
- wholemeal wheat flour - 225 grams
- sifted - 201 grams
Hedgehog
Korata, thank you very much!!!
Korata
Hedgehog :) not at all :)) Take into account the current - not rammed! I just poured it in and cut off the top with a knife ..

Dear owners of Panasonic SD 255 (as well as Panasonic SD 253), can you please tell me if these bread makers have a function for programming the kneading and baking process as in the DeLonghi BDM 125 S oven

Panasonic has a selection of ready-made programs that differ in holding time, raising time, baking. There is no temperature mode, that is, the stove selects it automatically. The time is also not hard, but "floating" depending on the temperature of the food and the ambient air.
Lack of dough can be corrected only if the stove is "forcibly" turned off .. let the dough come up and then turn on the stove. But if the products are of high quality, then nothing needs to be done. With good yeast and flour, no one has ever had a puncture with programs.

Today I made the dough according to the recipe from the SIMPLE instructions:

yeast 2 tsp
flour - 500g
salt - 2 tsp
sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
egg - 2 pieces
butter - 45 gr.
water - 220ml

BASIC mode - Dough.

All proportions are strictly observed, flour and yeast are good (tested on yesterday's bread)
I didn't like it at all. The result was a liquid sticky mass that rose with difficulty. The temperature in the stove was room temperature (I thought that it would have to be warm ...) When I took it out, added flour and put it in a warm place, it immediately rose well.
Has anyone tried this recipe? What should the dough look like when it's done? How is the ball? Maybe I have something wrong with the dough function ..
Dentist
The dough really should look like a ball. I have not tried making the dough according to your recipe, but I advise you to check any kneading (especially if the recipe is used for the first time). When all the products are mixed, you can see what happens: a bun or a mass clinging and spreading along the sides of the bucket. At this point, it is advisable to add 1-2 tbsp. lies. flour or water (as required). In your case, you can initially put more flour, and how much, set experimentally.

what is the name of? is it egg bread? I made an egg simple one - everything worked out great ... and I also liked the bread because an accidentally forgotten piece of bread does not dry out quickly!

Thanks, I will definitely try. Bread maker Panasonic SD 255 (part 1)

But what I wanted to ask. As it turned out, different stoves have different cups. Mostly 240, 255 model has 300 ml, my friend has 200.: oA, in most cases, recipes contain flour in cups. Probably it needs to be solved somehow? What will dear moderators say?
Dentist
In almost all the recipes on this site, the volume in cups is indeed indicated. But also almost all recipes indicate the volume of the cup that the author of the recipe used. And if the author has not indicated, then feel free to ask him this question. And in each cup that comes with the bread maker there are many marks-divisions, so that it will not be difficult to adapt the recipe for your oven.
