I bought a Bosch MCM 68840, but it won't turn on. I set everything correctly, turn the regulator, the red rim flashes, but the motor is silent. To begin with, I decided to check on a blender. It's very easy to install, you can't go wrong. And yet. Who was it?
Miranda
anneta21,
I had this when the blender lid was not properly closed.
Check it out. There should be a characteristic click.
anneta21
Miranda, I checked everything several times. And the clicks were all, but the device does not turn on. No blender, no bowl, no click, no click. The red rim only shines, that's all. In addition, I did not like the plastic parts, especially the gear wheels in the whisk attachment. The whisk itself is supposed to be ripped out when removed. In this case, sooner or later the gear wheel of the reducer will break. The plastic looks and feels very "tiny", brittle. I suggested assembling gearboxes from this in children's electric constructors. So it is a children's designer, and then - a combine. I have a scarlet in the cheapest mixer and there is a button for soft ejection of the whisk. In general, I will save up for kitchenade, where everything is made of steel and a direct drive. And so there is no point in investing, I see.
Miranda
anneta21, is there a possibility to return it?
anneta21
Miranda, thank God, there is. Otherwise it would be a shame.

welcome konfa! I am facing a choice of two Bosches msm 5529 and msm 64085! We just can't choose! which one is better or worse? Respond owners! Thank you in advance for your response!
Miranda
mifril, At the same time hardly anyone has

I have 64085. When buying, of course, I considered 5529, and even MUM 54251, which is also with cubes, deciding that with cubes immediately included in the set is cheaper than another model + cubes later.

I like 64085, it is not idle idle. Although, now, perhaps, mum would have chosen, because six months after acquiring mcm, I began to cook a lot of dough, and although mcm does an excellent job, it is more convenient to have a bowl for mixing and kneading. But now it's too late to change, prices have changed. Yes, and I still don't like the fact that the mum has to be turned on the table - it connects there, it is from the other side. I'd rather save up for a big dream - kenwood or kitschen, but most likely kenwood.

***
In my opinion, there is the following difference between the two that you have chosen.

1. Size and location on the table.
5529 takes up more physical space, it is elongated (parallel to the wall), and 64085 is square. On 64085, you can either put the blender / bowl in the cabinet or put it on the back of the combine. I have it in a row (perpendicular to the wall). At the back there is space for a bowl or blender, depending on what is on the motor, and in front of it is the square of the motor, + in front of the combine there is little room for a plate of food or a cutting board.

Since I have a wide table (from the wall to me) and not very long, this arrangement is more convenient for me | than this -. There would be a narrow tabletop, it would be more convenient on the contrary.

2. Motor.
In 5529, the combine will not start unless the blender snaps into place. That is, they are connected there by protection. If something happens to the blender or bowl (dropped and smashed, or is simply occupied by the product), the other will not work.

64085 has a 400W motor more powerful (1200 versus 800)

3. Complete set.
+ - the same.

Different from:
Whisk - in 5529 you can whip the whites with a plate, and in 64085 a full whisk.

The 5529 has a rub and citrus juicer.
And in 64085 there is a disc for French fries (so called, but it cuts anything in large strips) and a dough knife.

Bosch does not put a medium grater / shredder, the most running and cool disc, only in the most expensive mum, you need to buy it separately.

Everything is interchangeable, separately purchased for reasonable money.Only a dough knife (buy separately) in 5529 different.

4. Efficiency.
They are similar in function, especially if add. buy nozzles. There is nothing you can do on one model that you cannot do on the other.

5. Price.
5529 is cheaper, less expensive than square mcm for some reason. When I bought, the price was not too different.

In the end, I chose 64085 because of the power of the motor, the convenient location on the table, and the lack of communication between the blender and the bowl. The complete set worried a little, I immediately bought an average grater, I plan to buy a rubbing and a disc for potato pancakes (any raw vegetables).

Good luck with your choice!

There are separate topics where you can ask specific questions.
5529 (many pages, but everything important at the beginning is a selection) - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=22259.0

There are not many pages in the topic about mcm6 ... https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=311888.0

And the theme about 68885, which differs from 64085 only in color, is only 50W higher in power, and the third disc is not for french fries, but julienne. That is, in fact, it is no different - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=302589.0

Not certainly in that way. Our members of the forum have come up with a way to bypass this protection. A regular bank gum is put on the protrusions of the cover of the slot where the blender is inserted. Or a cut off piece of roll-on deodorant cover. Here described in detail.

I didn’t notice it right away, I just read the last one.

OK, thanks.

In general, for me they are similar, because they perform the same functions, and I would choose now for the price and physical parameters. Well, except that the motor power is noticeably different. Of the complete set, only cubes are important to me personally, since they are separately expensive, and the rest is bought in addition as needed and inexpensively.
Bijou
Yes, not at all. ) I have troubles with a lid that automatically blocks the blender's nest until I have had it in a year and a half, so I could not understand why the blender should stick out at the workplace when it lives in my closet.)) And I bought a spare bowl for a penny, so for now I relaxed, otherwise she shuddered herself that I’d put this protruding tongue figurine in the sink.

Whisk, yes, not enough. I have to use a regular mixer, but again, less washing.)) I am delighted with wiping. I bought a couple of grades. The blender whips perfectly. In terms of size (and price), 29 suited me more than the more compact, but tall 6 ***. However, there would be a harvester, and a place for it will somehow be found.)
Miranda

Delighted with wiping. I bought a couple of grades.

I bought an additional middle disk, it is very cool and judging by comparison, it replaces julienne, but it can also do something else.

I’m just going to buy a rub, everyone praises it very much.
Another disc-potato pancakes, but I don't really need it or I don't know what it is.

Oh yeah! If I had a giant Kenwood with its numerous and a lot of space taking up nozzles, I would really find where to attach it! It certainly wouldn't be a problem if I had him

Oh, that's what I remembered. You are talking about the difference in power. 68 is more powerful, right?
How scared I was to stick a hard pumpkin into the cutter last year !! My husband is a great lover, but for now you will chop it into cubes into porridge, calluses on your fingers from a knife. ((Well, I mean, cut a lot to freeze it in reserve, it's hard.

But it turned out that Boshik did not even notice that I had stuffed a bucket of pumpkin into him in one sitting. Only full bowls had time to pour into a large basin. So the power of Kubix 5529 is necessary and sufficient.

So I think, "are you not otmazyvaetsya, mother, from yourself with the lack of space .... Maybe you are sorry to give a hundred hazel grouse for Innokenty ... .."
Ninelle
Bijou, no no no, I love Cubika dearly, and I am delighted with rubbing! But for minced meat and tight dough, as well as for biscuit, I still want a dough mixer .... I’ve already bought it if there was no choice .... But so many different and cool cars!

So I sharply wanted a dough mixer.
And only one thing upsets me - why did I want him so late!

I would have liked it a couple of years, but at least a year earlier, when the purchasing power of our family salaries was higher.

I also do not really understand why there is a lot of power.
All operations with grater / shredder discs and cube cutters I do at first speed. Higher speed is only on the pulse.

I have not come up with such power in six months.
The only thing I admit is that I don’t know him - neither in the design of the case, nor how to properly use different speeds for different products.
mifril
Many thanks to all who answered !!! Purchased msm 64085 !!! We have been using it for two days! 110% satisfied)))) The only thing missing is a medium grater and a citrus juicer (((Tell me what is the "number" of the juicer?
Miranda
mifril, Congratulations! Hurrah!
Let it serve for a long time.

I have never considered press citrus, because it is not necessary.
But in my file with the names of the attachments, this is saved

It is better to clarify in the service center which of the two (for me they are similar).
Artlen
Girls, I choose a kitchen machine for:
1) kneading a variety of dough - yeast-free, yeast-free, gluten-free, for dumplings (i.e. dry and tight)
2) a good quality meat grinder included or with the ability to purchase a nozzle that will not break in a year
3) the ability to purchase pasta attachments - rolling the dough into a thin layer and cutting of various shapes
I choose among the Bosh 5 series and XL models, as I understand it, the power is fundamentally different - 900 W versus 1600 W - is this really essential for my purposes? Even in the 5th series, the meat grinder is included, and in the XL you need to buy it ... (but it seems to be better according to reviews - is that so?). I don’t want to sell cheap, so I don’t want to cry, but I want to make the purchase rational.
And I DO NOT NEED a blender at all (I have a separate professional one).
In principle, the Aksarum dough mixer with an extended set of attachments is still sold in the flea market - but I'm somehow scared to buy it with shipping.
Artlen
Ninelle, Miranda, and what kind of kneaders do you look at? I'm just in doubt about taking a dough mixer or a kitchen machine ...
Artlen
Ninelle, ohhh, this is the first time I've heard of the induction function in kitchen machines ... only Kenwood has it? and what can you do with it besides custard?) probably ice cream that custard can make, right? and caramel will make ?? if yes, then oh, right)) otherwise I'm afraid to make caramel on the stove ((
Rituslya
Quote: Artlen
and what can you do with it besides custard?
Elena, this is a great feature. True, I use it exclusively not for confectionery purposes, but milk porridge, pasta, rice for a side dish are simply amazing.
And so, yes, the function of stirring with constant heating in a convenient range for you from 20 to 140 degrees.
Artlen
Rituslya, and who besides Kenwood has such a function? and all cars with this function cost about 50, right?) and what is "milk porridge, pasta, rice for a side dish" in a kitchen machine better than in a multicooker ?? due to stirring?
Rituslya
Quote: Artlen
due to stirring?
yes, precisely because of the stirring. When I cooked rice porridge in it for the first time, it felt like I got into childhood when my mother stood at the stove and constantly stirred so that this porridge would not run away.
There seems to be no induction heating anymore, but the Klatronic, in my opinion, just has heating.
For example, Clatronic KM 3476
Here's another with heating Bomann KM 379 CB

Artlen
Rituslya, hmm I wonder, I wonder, what is your Kenwood model? but there it is impossible to make a delayed start like in a multicooker to wake up and the porridge is hot?)
Rituslya
Quote: Artlen
but there it is impossible to make a delayed start like in a multicooker to wake up and the porridge is hot?)
oh well .... It will buzz all night. Nah. In 3 minutes, the milk boils + interferes for 20 minutes. Then I cover it with a towel and turn it off. The only thing is that there is a lot of condensation, it should be faster.
And he is not a multicooker, of course. He is Ken.
I just load it with all sorts of nonsense.
Miranda
Quote: Artlen

I look at Kenwood, the most expensive one, so I haven't bought it yet.
From time to time I consider others, but again I return to Kenwood, and therefore I have not bought one either.

It’s also a matter of working space, it’s just a pity to buy a kneader, because then both the combine and the kneader should be at hand. And this is too much space. And few mixers have good combines.

Plus, my Bosch copes with almost all tasks, this is also a reason not to buy an additional gadget, but buy Kenwood.

Here is the alignment.
Artlen
Miranda, but can you write what is your Bosch model and which Kenwood are you looking at?)
Miranda

Good day !

I am to you for help After the Scarlet food processor, and before that the Philips blender, died safely, without having lived a year in my kitchen, I decided to buy a Russian-made Energy food processor. I thought that buying would not be a problem, because we are taking large steps in import substitution ...

Yeah of course. It turns out that this "Energy" is sold in few places. Rather, it is practically nowhere to be found. I found only 2 online stores and then there is not the model that I liked

Good people, tell me where you can buy an entot unit. I know how to use search, I am friends with Google, but I can't find it.

Well, the reviews of the owners will also be glad. I am looking for this model "energy kp1581e-100"

Tatyana, for what purposes do you need a kitchen? harvester? Perhaps some other cars are more suitable for you.
Maikla
Olga, yes, as usual, kneading dumplings dough, chopping, chopping. OT Phillips I have a "leg" left, so I don't need a blender. There are shredders in the meat grinder, but there they are not very convenient, especially for cabbage, the porridge turns out.

I made a choice in favor of a Russian manufacturer because I have been using the "Maria" mixer for 14 years already, the meat grinder is ours, the "assistant" is 5-7 years old, a beast machine. But Phillips and Scarlet did not meet expectations, they served very little, although they are beautiful and comfortable.

Added on Monday 14 March 2016 04:38 PM

Unfortunately, in those stores that were indicated "in stock" answered that this product is out of stock due to "out of production".
Maikla
And yet I bought it. Energy - 115, did not want with buttons, but what is it now. I thought for a long time, went through other options (phillips, bosch, moulinex), but this one still bribed with its cheapness and durability (if you believe the reviews)

What I liked: the knife, very sharp, easily coped with the meat, the crackers are the same excellent. A bowl, the perfect size, at least for me. The graters are good, sharp, but the fine grater was not enough for me. There is an opportunity to rub, chop not into a bowl. Everything is stored in the combine itself. Quiet, my previous scarlett was louder.

What I disliked: the feed hole is not enough, I would like more. The nozzle for French fries is strange, the potatoes are made with crescent ribbons, I think that it is suitable for shredding salads for the winter. Well, the buttons, like on an old Soviet tape recorder, although my husband says that on the contrary, it is better with such than with touch

I tested it yesterday. Chopped cabbage, in a minute a whole head of cabbage, chopped not into the bowl, I liked this function. Grated carrots, made fries, dumplings dough, whipped cake cream, ground meat, chopped crackers. I love everything except potatoes. A beast, not a car. Copes with everything easily, without straining. I hope that he will serve me for a long time
lira3003
Maikla, Tatiana, congratulations on your assistant! Let it serve for a long time !!! About a grater of fries, potatoes and bosch this turns out, a crescent.
