I still have a question, is the mum whipping up in a non-native bowl? that is, if I beat the whites in a bowl, can I substitute another container for the yolks instead?
You can, if you buy a second bowl. Attachments: hook, whisk only with a native bowl. I have Bosch Mum for a very long time and love him dearly. But he chops and turns the meat wherever he goes. Great car!
utya
I didn’t immediately think that the walls of the bowl should still fit under the rim accordingly, thank you all!
I'm inclined to buy the 4th because of the price, I choose on an Internet and I see the difference only in power, it's a pity to pay 2 times more just for power ...
and externally and in quality, the 5th series differs from the 4th? watched the video with 4k it seemed that he was flimsy
Daffi
5 series is:
- updated design;
- metal bowl;
- more power (700 or 900 W);
- you can buy a dicing attachment;
- in some models of the 5 series, not 4, but 7 working speeds;
- cannot be grated or cut into a bowl / pot - only into your own bowl.

The nozzles for series 4 and 5 are completely identical. The shredding / rubbing discs are the same - interchangeable. More power means you can knead thicker doughs with less tension. The harvester will squeak less and complain less.

It seems to me that I saw information on the BOSCH website that in the 5th series the rim rotation speed is higher - the number of rpm is higher. If so, the processor will whisk / chop faster. But I'm not exactly sure - I could have confused.

Total: if you need cheap and cheerful, take 4 series. The functionality will be the same as in the 5th series. If money allows, take the 5 series with a power of 900 watts. See which configuration suits you, whether you need a meat grinder or not, whether you need dicing, whether you need a citrus juicer. Each attachment increases the price. Previously, there were 900 W models on sale without a meat grinder - they cost much less.

For example, there are 5 series models on Yandex Market:
- Bosch MUM 54420/54520/54620/54920/54720/54020 (900 W, without grinder);
- Bosch MUM 54240 (900 W, full set);
- Bosch MUM 54251 (900W complete set + dicing attachment).

And here are the 4 series models:
- Bosch MUM 4406 (500 W, with a meat grinder, without a blender);
- Bosch MUM 4655 (550 W, there are all basic attachments, no citrus juicer);
- Bosch MUM 4875 (600 W, metal bowl, all basic attachments, no citrus juicer included).
Mirabel
Yes ... I would like a power of 900Wt, a meat grinder and a citrus juicer .. but they do not want to release such a complete set.
We'll have to take Bosch4
Daffi
Mirabel, Episode 5 has exactly what you want. I even chose the models for you.
1. Bosch MUM 54240 (900 W, full set);
2. Bosch MUM 54251 (900 W, complete set + dicing attachment).

I also found it: Bosch MUM56S40 and Bosch MUM56340.
Mirabel
Daffi, But I don’t need a blender, graters, or even cubes.
I need a bare kneader, but in addition there can be a meat grinder (I have, let there be one more to spare) and a citrus juicer is acceptable.
And according to your links, quite a complete harvester.
Daffi
Mirabelif you need a kneader, then buy a kneader. BOSH MUM is not exactly a dough mixer. This is a planetary mixer - I hope you understand the difference. You, as I see it, need a powerful machine that can handle tough dough. Buy BOSCH MUM 4 series - you will be disappointed, because it does not meet your expectations.

Watch the videos and see for yourself. For example this or this one. There is still a video , and further .
Mirabel
DaffiFor some reason, I naively thought that this was a mixer: girl_red: but not very powerful and not capable of handling a large amount of dough ... and this is a mixer ..
ir
Ankarsrum original is a good kneader.
Annutka
Mirabel, Vika, there is a Temka about Bosch MUM5, if I read carefully, then the dough kneads well there, but Bosch also has Bosh MUM XL ..., that's where the power is from 1600 and the configuration goes like a dough mixer, only with blender.
KoFFka
Those choosing a kneader, not a mixer, may need to look here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=8100.0 ? If the mixer is a priority, and the rest is useless.
And then we are here praising different harvesters for some reason
Mirabel
Annutka, Anh, thank you, I went there to read!
I heard ... Masha-Masinen said that she was kneading dough for noodles with a very simple Bosch. I thought that if there was a hook, then everything ... should cope with the dough.
kirch
Vika, I MUM 5 knead the dough for noodles and dumplings. Then I mix a little with my hands. Vaughn Vera Dohu kneads the dough on dumplings with knives in 21 seconds. It impressed me so much that I also want it.
Mirabel
Ludmila, Yes, Vera's dough impressed me too. Because of him, I even thought about buying Kenwood-Prospero, but there is also a blender. Probably nowhere from him, I can't hide
What is your 5th Mum?
kirch
I don't remember which MUM by number. Power 900. With all graters, blender, for citrus fruits, meat grinder, and bought a cube. But I practically don't use it. I never took out the blender. Initially, I did not need a meat grinder. But then without her was not. I would sell. The cube is so bulky that I took it out 2 times. I would sell the same. I use a grater in the fall, when I sauerkraut. A comedy happened to me this year. I was going to shred cabbage and searched the graters, looked at everything and everyone. I had to chop my hands. And then the bastard remembered that they are in a bag along with all the attachments, only in another compartment. And for whipping and kneading, I use it almost every day, it stands on the table. I specially chose a compact one to put on the table. I like him very much
Mirabel
kirch, Yes, Lyud, and I really like him! A full-fledged harvester with a normal price.
Andreevna
Friends, I need an inexpensive blender-chopper for my dacha, what can you say about this?
Vitek VT-1455 I choose a harvester, blender, processor

I'm back in this Temko,
A few days ago, I almost bought Bosch 4855 - I was tempted at the price and ordered, and they write to me in response that this model is not there, there is 4406. I sat and thought, maybe I don't need a combine at all, because it will differ from mine only in the presence of a mixer.
Maybe just buy a mixer?
question: how is a mixer in bosch compared to a conventional mixer?
anneta21
I'm thinking. On the Mumovsky Bosch, can you finely chop the meat like in a chopper from a blender? Because if not, maybe it's better to take one? 🔗
sazalexter
anneta21
sazalexter, I forgot, sorry.
utya
Thanks to everyone who helps to choose. I was tempted by the price and broke down and ordered a 4855 mummy, inclined towards the 6th episode, but then changed her mind in favor of an open bowl. Now I'm waiting and worried, I will test in comparison with my Moulinex Odacio3 900 w, I will take a photo and post it.
Alycha
Girls, does anyone have a braun k3000? As a combine it suits me very much, but as a mixer and dough mixer, I get more and more disappointed. Tolley it has weakened for 12 years, or have my requirements increased? So I think these are my cockroaches, that it is necessary to change it? If there is a bread machine, I bake bread 3 times a week per kilogram of flour, well, all kinds of muffins, biscuits ...
TatianaSa
Please help me with the choice of which blender to take, Bamix Super Boxing or Kitchen Aid?
utya
Hello everyone who chooses and helps!
I received my new combine mum 4855 - I'm getting used to
1. at first it seemed big to me, I wanted a compact version on the table, but it turned out even bigger than my Odasio3. but now I put it in a permanent place and if you remove the bowl it does not seem so massive, apparently this is due to the large (which of course +) and opaque bowl
2. upset by the presence of different caps - I have a tendency to lose small parts
3. I immediately tested the meat grinder (it was necessary to twist the meat), and since there are different opinions here I share my observations: if someone has a bad twist, then it's not about power! it pulls well and the inlet, although smaller than mine, is not critical (I cut the meat in strips, this is not long). And the grip of meat on the auger is inconvenient, it is in this place that there is a small gap, so the power will not help. She spun my beef remarkably, but she barely caught the onion chopped into large pieces. in principle, the meat grinder has passed the test
4.I liked the grater device: you can substitute any vessel, the hole is probably standard, it does not rumble,
5. and most importantly - the mixer, for which I, in principle, bought it, whipped 4 eggs for a custard biscuit did not experience happiness (it beats for a long time. It is hoped that for a long time, but qualitatively. the processor whips cool.
I made dough for one pizza with a hook - it was spread over the bowl, but kneaded. If there is no bread maker, then a very useful function.
These are the impressions. It's nice that it's new, but otherwise I haven't understood yet.
Daffi
beat 4 eggs for a custard biscuit did not experience happiness (beat for a long time
How long is it? I make a biscuit dough for 4 eggs in 5-6 minutes. First, the eggs are white, then I gradually add sugar, beat until clear traces, transfer from maximum to minimum, and gradually add flour. The biscuit turns out to be excellent, does not fall. You can bake even in the oven, even in the cartoon - the result is great.
I use this whisk

The biscuit dough can be made faster, it is not necessary to beat the eggs white, you can immediately beat it with sugar. But that's how I like it. How many times I did it - everything always worked out. With an ordinary mixer, I have a 450 W BOSH, it doesn't work that way. The result is always worse.

which blender to take, bamix super boxing or kitschen eid?
Tanyusha! I have Bamix. I am 100% happy with it! Absolutely corresponds to the declared power and capabilities! Rarely what device can I safely recommend for purchase (there will always be, albeit small ones, but dissatisfaction with it). But take this one boldly! You will definitely be satisfied!
utya
Daffi, thanks for the support. I didn't notice, probably the same for 5-6 minutes, just my old one for 3 white and thick makes. mix flour with this whisk too? (I used to spoon)
and the second, which is called for biscuit dough, what is better suited for?
By the way, the whisks work without the native bowl! of course, you won't be able to beat it in other dishes, but I really want to try the minced meat. I can't use the same bowl for proteins and raw meat
Daffi
Time yourself on Boch - he also does everything quickly. You need the right whisk and top speed. Mix the flour with the same whisk - be sure to put the combine on the first speed. Add spoonfuls. I mixed in one - you give him a second, then a third.
A whisk with three twigs - for chopped or muffin dough, you can also make dough for dumplings with it - just carefully. They rub butter with sugar, but they do a lot - gradually you will figure out what and how.

Under no circumstances put a non-native bowl - you will break the combine. If you have such prejudices, buy another cup. But in general, all the housewives beat raw proteins and meat in one bowl - nothing terrible happens.
Inessa222
but my mixer burned out and now the work is worth the second week, but I can't choose a mixer, I want a planetary one and so that it is not very expensive up to 5000 thousand UAH, but that it was powerful)))))) pliz advise .... I looked at the gastroag , bosh mum and stler ... help me decide ... the mixer is needed mainly for creams and biscuits
Sikorka
Girls, give advice please.
You need a stationary blender, grind nuts, ice, baby purees, cocktails, vegetable purees, pâté, and if possible (past submersibles burned out), grind raw fish into minced meat, chicken, I doubt about meat.
I wanted bork, but the prices were from 15,000. I realized that I needed power from 1,000. I look at Vitek and Shteba. About Vitek I will say that all this technique, no matter how scolded it, lasts 10 times longer than other good brands. I was also told that the jug should. be conical, then everything will be well distributed during the milk process.
Here's what I chose. Of course, I look at the staff first, I saw an overview of how you can open the bottom and wash the knives, I think this is a huge plus.

Help is needed
We choose a stationary blender for our sister. For smoothies, green cocktails. NOT expensive!
Chose the princesses, with a glass bowl, but confused by the power of 350 watts. Is this power enough?

Gulsine, In my opinion, a little power, especially if you want to make green smoothies and grind ice and frozen berries and fruits.
I have this

I want to clarify even such a moment can you just make cold cocktails in a soup cooker - smoothies? Princess Soup Cooker liked
Mirabel
GulsineDoes she have a soybean-type lid grinder?
In my opinion, these will not make green cocktails and will not crush ice, but smoothies, milkshake, nut milk and soup, of course, will brew.

But Vitek .. in my opinion is more functional. Read reviews about it, or maybe someone has it here too ... and if everything is ok, I think you can stop at it

I have Kenwood major, made in England, has been plowing for 29 years. I'm happy with it, I don't know how, I advise everyone, for a tough dough it's an irreplaceable thing, and the meat grinder is excellent.

A week ago, the slow speed drive failed when she was kneading the dough on pasties, but the motor was running - apparently, the gear broke.
I took it to the workshop, handed it over for diagnostics, called, take it back, the model is old and they no longer produce such spare parts, and new gears do not fit it.
I was upset - it's a shame to throw out a working harvester because of some nonsense, a similar one now costs 50 thousand.

I brought it home, I thought, why am I taking it back, but not leave it on the street?
In the evening I decided, at least the blender should be turned on at last.

And then mysticism began - the drive started working!
I couldn't believe my eyes, because they didn't even take money from me in the workshop, they said that it could not be repaired. I still cannot understand what it was.

I immediately made a dough for pasties, but now I will try not to overload the combine.
Kinglet
Hello everyone! I choose a harvester, I'm worn out ... I need it first of all for dough and creams, I have a bread maker. Cubes, probably not critical, the family is not big, I suspect that I will still cut salads with a knife - in my volumes faster, but I still want to. There are graters in the Brown blender, I use them, but rarely. It seems like I stopped at Bosch Mum 54 251, and today I saw a Kenwood KM287 kitchen machine in the store - I also liked it very much, I did not see Bosch live - there is nowhere to look. Can anyone help? Are there any happy owners of Kenwood?
Cirre
So I am interested in the owners of Keshi 287 and 289. How do they work, are there any complaints
vernisag
Vika, it seems to me that if you take Bosch, then it's better from a new series, there is a larger bowl and nozzles-nozzles are no longer with plastic, but all-metal. And the power is 1600W
Kesha has the same story, it is probably better to spend it once and buy at least 010 (050), you can find naked (without a meat grinder and juicer), they are cheaper.

I choose a harvester, blender, processor

vernisag, Irochka, thank you very much for responding, of course, who can argue, it’s stunned as good, but I won’t manage your offer: the price of all this wealth is unbearable for me. very often, I just fell for cakes and cookies - I really want to free my hands, and everyone says that hands a completely different result is obtained with a hand mixer.Moreover, the options you proposed only exacerbated my problem: both the first and the second of the ones you proposed are frankly flawless, how can I choose something - Bosch or Kenwood, Kenwood or Bosch?
vernisag
I agree Vikul, it's expensive I chose for a very long time and still decided on the 010 cache, for me it is also very expensive
I also liked the Bosch MUM 57860, 900W (a little more expensive, but it has a meat grinder and five grating disks) or Bosch MUM 57830 (three disks and no meat grinder), I was even a little upset that I did not buy, the price was very good last fall, now slightly more expensive but still available
