Anastasia
dopleta, Thank you! I will definitely share my experience of use!
Until I found the instruction. Well, at least the manufacturer on page 27 gives a fairly long list of things that can be recycled with cubes.

And the review, alas, in a single copy. But if you consider that the sale of this combine began only on September 3, it is not surprising that there are few reviews.
Lionsea
The harvester makes cubes 8 * 8 mm in size and that's it. That is, nothing can be changed. (I did not find this in the instructions, I found it only on the Bosch website in an advertisement with pictures).
Anastasia
I already have a Boshevsky combine, only the MUM series and it's good that their functions almost do not overlap. That one works more like a meat grinder for me and kneads the dough with hooks, but this one will cut, rub and wipe mashed potatoes.

posted a photo of her disassembled and assembled. White little thing-comes in the kit to clean the mesh.

Luysia

And raw vegetables (eggplant, potatoes, carrots) for cubes can this Boshik also do?
Anastasia
Luysia
With raw vegetables, everything is just much simpler - they are hard and therefore what wonderful cubes for all kinds of saute and other dishes from raw vegetables are obtained - I already saw in the program "Eat at home" - beauty - there just Julia ground eggplants, cucumbers, carrots and something else! I had doubts about the boiled vegetables, but they flew by with a whistle - I didn't have time to help the pusher. Well, how the cabbage is chopped, I liked it very much, there were also doubts, it's so layered, but nothing, I did it perfectly!

Anastasia, I am very interested in grinding raw meat and boiled meat, can you show this or at least write a review on how well he does it? and mashed potatoes are very interesting .. I would use this thing

One of these days I will try to make something from raw meat, although from the experience of using the Kenwood mill with similar knives I can say that it copes with the task - it grinds the meat, both raw and boiled, only it is better not to defrost raw to the end, then it turns out to grind faster. With boiled, in general, no difficulties arise. But it is interesting to make mashed potatoes with the help of a new nozzle - I have never seen such a nozzle anywhere.

I have this model, it just has this rub, Believe me, nowhere and never have I eaten a tastier puree. It is necessary to boil the diced potatoes and pass through a rub, then put on a chopping knife there, add sl. oil, mountains. milk (I added dry and water from potatoes) and an egg and literally 1 min. mix. Try it !!! I'm sure you will like it!

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
Anastasia
Well, I cut a lecho and a hunting snack Boshik. It turned out great and fast. Once again, I would like to note that finally there is a combine with cutters and graters, as a result of cutting, which practically does not have unprocessed and uncut pieces. The carrots were crushed with the help of a Bosch crook attachment, but other MUM-series graters and other cutters fit this harvester completely, so the french fries attachment from the same MUM harvester series will also work. Cabbage, cucumbers and onions were cut with a shredder disc 1 mm thick, peppers on a lecho, 3 mm thick. When I put the chopped lecho into a cartoon, it turned out to be a whole saucepan.
Ludmila

Congratulations on your successful purchase! I am now also "sick" with cubes
I already have one Boshik, like this:

Did I understand correctly from your message that the attachments fit from him to Bosch Cubicorezalny?
Anastasia
Ludmila

Yes, graters and cutters-discs fit from one to another, another thing is that the new one in the kit again has a coarse grater, a fine grater and a shredder. Could put some other graters for a change. I bought a disc for julienne separately for a long time and a disc for french fries will do too.Just grater attachments with the combine that I did not use in your photo, there was a lot of waste, but I will definitely use these attachments on the new combine, it turns out waste-free production - it grinds everything to the last centimeter.
Anastasia
Here is such a disc - I don't know why it is called julienne, but it crumbles with pretty straws - it fits this harvester.

Yes, on this model-equipped! The pusher-split-two-piece-for a large product-like potatoes and the middle is removed from it-and then a narrow neck is formed-for carrots or cucumbers. I can post a photo tomorrow for clarity.

No, there is no such thing in the set. There is only a double-edged knife, but no pins looking up. In the photo here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=22259.0 not good, but it is clear that it is not the same knife as in your photo.

mmmmmm, envidnaaaaa .... while I ask my husband for the harvester the season of vegetables is over .... and dill also cut the harvester? with which nozzle?

I tried to cut the dill in two ways - just with a knife in a bowl, it turned out uniformly, well, but a little too small, then I tried it with a 1 mm disc-shredder - it turned out larger and rougher, and sometimes the sticks completely slipped. But in general, it is possible and so and so, all faster than manually.

Good day! If I may, there are two questions.
How can you cut one or two onions for soup in this food processor? Not in rings, but in pieces?
And more ... What kind of dough can this combine make?

Onions, you can cut them into cubes, yesterday I cut them into eggplant caviar, but here it is necessary to take into account that the cubes are obtained with a side of 8 mm - see for yourself - it is large for the soup or not, and will you drive the combine because of one or two bulbs. I decided for myself that if the soup is vegetable and I will cut apart from onions, for example, cabbage or beets, carrots, potatoes, then I will use the combine. You can also grind the onion in the bowl with knives - then the grinding is regulated only by the processing time - the longer, the finer.
The dough-liquid can definitely, it can chop the shortbread, if you really want it, you can knead the yeast too, the yeast is in my plans. If it does not work out very well, then in general I will not be upset, there is a bread machine and you can buy a hook for the test from another model - in the photo in the messages above there is such a hook.

I also really hoped that they would fit. the girl said that they planted a cube cutter at 5530 right in the office - and did not sit down in any way. I'm all sad now

but the fact that the discs fit gives hope how to really contrive and try on the beaters and hook for the test on 5529?

With the cube cutter, I agree, it itself is a complex nozzle and for the first time it was released and it is probably difficult to make it sit down.Secondly, I already realized that if you do not read the instructions thoughtfully, then it is difficult to plant a cube cutter nozzle in your own bowl! My husband showed cunning marks there, combining which it turns out to be easy and simple to plant it as it should, and without these marks I could immediately plant it, then no. What do you think, in the office, they especially delved into the subtleties? But the dough attachment is generally simple, something tells me that it should fit at all. I will try to find and test it somewhere, I myself am interested and want a dough attachment.
Anastasia
Here is such a hook as in the photo below (there is a cone-shaped one) - in my opinion, it is simply obliged to approach the cube cutter!

Asssya
Lisss's, what attachments are there in the 5540 but not in the 5529? Except the whisk and hooks?
Is it inconvenient to have two speeds? Forgive me if the question is stupid, I don't understand anything about combines. I'm going to buy for the first time.
Lisss's
in 5540 there is also a centrifuge for juices from solid products, but this is not so important to me.

and it does not contain the disc-beater-emulsifier, which is in 5529.

here it depends on what you want the combine - for slicing or for dough. For example, it is more important for me to knead the dough and whip the cream (I'm already tired of holding the mixer with one hand, with the other pouring hot syrup in a thin stream), and I need to knead a small amount of dough very much.

but Anastasia's cubes are already very attractive, so I'm trying to connect a hippo with a rhino

about two speeds - I don't know, it's better for Anastasia I had 4 to ask, it's still easier to vary - sometimes you need a little faster, sometimes slower ...
Asssya
I just need graters, shredders. Therefore, I fell for cubes
I just can't figure it out with graters. Both the 5540 and 5529 have a reversible grater (large / small) and a reversible shredder (3 and 1 mm). The 5529 also has some kind of medium grater. And in 5540, a double-sided disc is a grater-shredder. What kind of shredder is this? If there is already a separate disc grater and a separate disc shredder?
By the way, didn't anyone use a French fries grater in these combines? My friend says that crooked bars are obtained, it is better to rub by hand on a berner.
zvezda
I used. Very well!!! Convenient, smooth. I cut not only potatoes, but also squash and pumpkin and, in general, all hard vegetables. and the hook for the dough, I think, will do, because the bowl is the same and the drive is the same. Only the 5529 has less power, but it's so scary.
Asssya
By the way, about mashed potatoes, I do not understand at all. Well, I cooked potatoes. I have to put it through a puree press. And she's hot. How to grab it and push it into the combine? With a spoon? And then she rubbed herself off. And you need to change the press attachment to hooks. And there is hot mashed potatoes in the bowl. How???

Yes, I put it straight out of the saucepan with a spoon into the combine, then I took out the cleaning cloth and put the hook, and then I added whatever I liked.

No, that nozzle is on top, but it is not difficult to insert the hook into the soft mass.

New_yearif you will, I will answer. I didn't like whipping the whites. I tried 2 pcs. The foam remained liquid for a long time. I waited much longer than the time at which a conventional mixer would have been able to handle it long ago, but the meringue foam never came. And how are you, Anastasia?

I also tried on two, and it seemed to me, I know why it did not work out, two proteins are not enough, the nozzle practically does not touch the proteins and therefore does not beat them. It should be visible in the video

But when there is enough liquid, I really liked how the dough for pancakes was beaten. So for now I can describe the situation like this - a small amount of something is not whipped. I think there should be at least a glass of liquid.

Girls, I checked my hypothesis, though now I have to bake a biscuit, but what to do! In total, 5 whites were whipped to their peaks in 1 minute 30 seconds. I turned the cup over, it doesn't fall out.

In general, how many proteins are in volume, tons of liquid is needed for the nozzle to work.
Asssya
That is, this disc completely replaces the whisk in the 5540? And it turns out that the 5529 is missing only a hook for the test?
Asssya
Anastasia, how do you find it convenient with two speeds? And then above Lisss's wrote that 4 is better than It, of course, so, but two are enough or not?
Anastasia
Quote: Asssya

Anastasia, how do you find it convenient with two speeds? And then above Lisss's wrote that 4 is better than It, of course, so, but two are enough or not?

Of course, maybe it's better, I don't argue, but no-and no-I use two, I did not find any inconvenience for myself. As well as with the power, I also saw that the cube cutter had 800 W, and the 5540 had 1100 W. I was upset, and then I thought, MUM 4655 (I also have it) -550 W, but even the meat grinder nozzle works fine, there is enough power, so really this model won't have enough 800 W? As practice has shown, enough.

Rubs and shreds - great, I like that there is little raw waste. In this regard, MUM is losing.

Whips - well, do not forget that you can whip something suitable even in the blender that comes with the kit!

Cuts cubes well - no need to be afraid that the last cut will get stuck in the mesh, there is a cleaning-pusher
for a biscuit made in a hurry and not really observing the technology - after beating the whites, sugar and yolks immediately thumped in them and did not quietly mix the whites into the flour - I intervened everything with a combine and quickly, nothing happened. But next time I will still do it according to technology.
Well, for yeast dough, I really have a bread maker, which, moreover, by technology, will knead the dough automatically and, when necessary, heat it up for a better rise. If you put the question this way, the harvester with cubes is better than other Boshiki.
Lisss's
Anastasia, thank you very much for the video - very visual

I am plagued by doubts - if you make a protein custard, will the disc mix the proteins with hot syrup? It seems to me that the whisk is better ... or is it just more familiar?
Anastasia

Yes, probably whisks in this case will be better and more convenient than a disc!

Well, I've already made mashed potatoes. She rubbed it with a rub, and then beat it with knives. It turned out very well. I'll post a photo of the process now. I think that I will not buy hooks for myself, since basically all my bread maker kneads.

Girls, just what a thought came to me, just don’t understand, please, that this topic is some kind of agitation for this combine. Initially, I was really interested in cubes in it. And he copes with them, as advertised. Everything else for me was secondary and in principle, of course, it was good that in the end it also copes with the functions that are still declared and which I managed to test. As I already wrote, I will definitely use graters and a shredder, I will probably make dough for pancakes. It may seem easier for someone to make mashed potatoes with a crush, crumpled, washed one crush and free. And here, you need to wash the rub, and the bowl with the lid, and the knives ... And so you can go through each item. Therefore, everyone should only decide for himself what he needs and how he will implement it in the end and whether it will not turn out to be easier in general to do it the old fashioned way, and not to fence a garden.I just try to answer the questions posed as honestly as possible and have not yet decided for myself which of the attachments and under what mood I will use. I do not regret that I bought it, but I cannot say for each of you that you will not regret it. Everything is very individual!

I like cubes, horror, but I will probably take them without them - I make cakes more often ...

Thank you Lisss's! B that's right! Since for cakes, for example, I generally use basically a Bosch hand mixer, I hold it even without a stand, but I can handle five with biscuit, and cream, and with preparing the mass for an ice cream maker.

All attachments are sold by Bosch service centers. In Moscow, of course, everything is easier to buy. I don't know how elsewhere. There are also online stores.
Lisss's
with us it's easier with the service - you come, they showed me their catalog on the Internet, where everything is disassembled into parts, and you choose the right nozzle, they order it by parts, assemble it here, and sell it. if, for example, a cube cutter, it will be expensive, and if the corollas - there are not so many details, it will be acceptable ...

Urrraaaaa !!!! Now I will also cut the cubes and wipe the purees. My husband made me happy today by gritting my teeth because of the Bosch MUM 4756 standing at home.

And, of course, in the store I tried to rearrange the hook from 5540 to 5529, came up like a native. Other attachments are identical in appearance.

Thank you girls! And can you tell us a little more about the procedure for checking the goods: before paying to the cashier, you need to ask to print the packaging, inspect the combine for scratches and cracks and check the package contents? Is the complete set included in the instructions?

Everything is so accurate, you inspect everything, you check everything with the complete set, the instructions contain all the complete set, so that every whisk, every nozzle, take your time! And do not be afraid to seem stubborn 0You pay money, you order the ball! After an external examination, ask to be plugged into the outlet - this is done and upon delivery to your home - and check the performance already in working mode - check how it switches speeds, do not forget to check the blender! In general, do not be afraid of anything, we have bulk stores, you will definitely find where you will be served correctly, but the sellers have to spin,so that the buyer left the money with them.

girls, that's it, happiness! finally i got what i dreamed of for so long

I just kneaded the yeast dough in 5530 with knives (with a universal knife, which you can use to grind, it also goes for kneading dough) - and it turned out just super in 1.5 minutes! complete delight!
You can knead any yeast dough with knives.
The technology is as follows: add dry ingredients to the bottom, crank for 10 seconds, pour in liquid ingredients, mix for 20 seconds, leave to swell for 5 to 20 minutes, and then knead for 0.5 - 1.5 minutes until smooth. Gluten develops wonderfully, and quickly there is one caveat - the water should not be warm, as the dough heats up from the knife and may overheat. In my recipe, I took milk from the refrigerator. After kneading, the dough was not very hot, I followed. since I will take room T.

I myself am just mastering this method, if I learn something, I will report. I learned about it from Ludmila's LiveJournal from Toronto, but unfortunately this article is closed in her magazine.
