Girls, please advise! There is an opportunity to buy a second-hand Ourssoon 5002 inexpensively, there was a replacement of the pressure sensor. I don't know whether to take it or not. There are already 3 multicooker (I just bought the third one today for the village), but I want to try what a pressure cooker is. Here I sit thinking. Do I need it?
lana light
Liliya137, I had just such a model. Very high quality coating on a saucepan, it itself is heavy. The controls are simple. The modes are adequate. Everything turned out deliciously - both the first and second and porridge and stews and pastries. Awesome jelly in an hour and a half! It was not very hot, but this may be my personal opinion. Condensate did not spill past, all accumulated in the condensate container.
The only negative for me became clear after I bought myself a MV / SV Shtebu. Turns out Ourson is VERY loud !!! In the process of gaining pressure and cooking, he periodically makes noise / bleeds, then releases the pressure completely and very loud, and at the most unexpected moment! For example, you are standing cutting something in the kitchen, not bothering anyone ... and then PUFF !!! I was already scared ...
And it may also be a minus that when the steam is bleed off, a large column of steam goes up, you cannot put it under the lockers. Also, I probably would not have risked with stretch ceilings (but again, maybe this is just my personal opinion!).
I used it for a little less than a year, I really liked it. I returned it to the store at the end of the warranty due to the fact that when opening the lid it clung to the sides of the bowl. Every time I was afraid that the saucepan somehow highly will rise strongly behind the lid, jump off, flop down and splash boiling water on my leg. Fortunately, this has never happened! I guess I'm just a coward! I thought that this was just a jamb of my copy, since I had not read about such a defect anywhere in the reviews. But it turned out that no, this is the specificity of this model. I tried another copy in the store, it was the same. I even bought it for 6 liters (model 6002), but then I gave it up too. And precisely because of this reason.
A couple of months ago I bought Shteba DD2, so I immediately liked it! After Ourson, I even thought that Shteba was not working, because there were no sounds! At the end of cooking, it also lowers the pressure almost silently, and there is no steam. And somehow he cooks more quickly than Ourson. Steba's fry is much better. (Well, in short, it is already clear to you that I am a fan of Steba!)
My conclusion is that if there has never been a pressure cooker before, Ourson is a good choice! High-quality material and assembly, good modes
Liliya137
lana light ! Thank you for such an informative review! As the saying goes, then we must take it! Curiosity tears me up this cooking, and suddenly it suits me, but I don't know about it yet.

All the more so here at the Bread Maker. There are many proven recipes for Ourson 5002! There will be where to start!
And there you will adapt yourself!
Liliya137
All! She is mine! I ran and bought it.

lana light Thank you!
Anastasenok
lana light, apparently a feature of the model. My 5015 does not have any of the above. Quiet sorceress and fry good at 130 degrees. And I like that you can reach the saucepan by the handles with its lid closed, then it will unlock faster
Bast1nda
Anastasenok, so these are completely different models. you are in topic 4002,5002,6002.

Liliya137, with the purchase! Let it serve for a long time and efficiently.I love this pressure cooker very much! And for its price! I love twice as much
lana light, I also have a hook for the bowl, but I read about it and was ready for this nuance. Mine does not work loudly, does not scare me very much like the pot. I want the same at the dacha, but for 4 liters, but now they are gone. Disassembled everything for a long time already.

Who makes the puree in it?
And please write on the preparation of mashed potatoes. Directly step by step.
How many minutes do you set and which program do you choose? Water, as I understood, add about a glass. Very interested. I don't like cooking potatoes on the stove for a long time.

velli
Liliya137, With the purchase of you! A pressure cooker is just a lifesaver when you need to cook something faster. Even ordinary potatoes will cook twice as fast as in a multicooker, not to mention a saucepan on the stove. I like how she gains and relieves pressure. A signal will sound and you can immediately open it, which is not in other pressure cookers! Delicious cooking for you in a new saucepan!
Anastasenok
Bast1nda, "apparently a feature of the model", this is how my phrase begins
velli
NataliaFor example, I cut a potato into 4 parts (medium tubers), pour water to cover the potato, no more. I put in the salt and close it. I set the time for 8-10 minutes. I open it, drain the water, and fill it with hot milk, where I put the butter. It melts in hot milk. I make mashed potatoes with a Scarlet blender. It turns out to be very airy, without lumps, very tasty. I cooked it in a multicooker, and in an ordinary saucepan on the stove, but for my taste the tastiest puree from the 5002 pressure cooker. Pureed right in the bowl, without taking it out of the pressure cooker, because the potato grinder is plastic and will not harm the coating. Only when I make mashed potatoes, I turn the pressure cooker with the lid opposite me so that the wire from the blender does not cling to the lid of the pressure cooker. And in general, I only make mashed potatoes with a blender with a "potato grinder" attachment, it turns out faster than manually crushing it and fluffier. Maybe someone does it differently, but I do.
lana light
Liliya137, well done! you see how the topic immediately revived!
I have one more remark on the use of Ourson - you cannot pour liquid more than the maximum risk, since not only the inner surface of the lid, but also the valve may get dirty during the cooking process. The valve must be washed well and kept clean! In many reviews I read that an error message often appears. I have never poured / applied so many products that the lid gets dirty and never once in a year did no error pop up. My opinion based on my experience with 5002 is that some of the errors appear after the valve is poorly flushed, something sticks there and gives an error
LenaU
velli, Valentina, I also have a question about potatoes, but 8-10 minutes on which program?

Girls, see our recipes for all Orson pressure cookers - all models
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=464.0

You don't have to repeat our recipes.
But to look at what programs we cook meat, soups, side dishes and the like ... and take note of yourself - great help will be
After all, we have worked out so much in the subject. We have different models - but the principle of cooking and programs are almost the same to take them as a basis.
Galin
I prepare mashed potatoes in a pressure cooker like this - I put peeled and cut potatoes into several parts. I pour milk and water, or milk alone if desired, but so that the potatoes are not completely covered with liquid, somewhere to the middle, I put butter right away. I usually cook for 9 minutes if you need mashed potatoes. The potatoes are boiled, I immediately make mashed potatoes with the Taperverovskaya crush. The amount of liquid for mashed potatoes must be selected empirically, so that it is not liquid, But I practically boil potatoes for a couple, usually it turns out what I need. And if I just boil potatoes, I also pour a little water, then I reduce the time, 7-8 minutes.
Bast1nda
Galin, thanks, and what program?))))

Added Friday 17 Feb 2017 7:08 PM

velli, but I do not have such a nozzle for a blender, I will have to use a crush, but this is not a problem, the main thing is to cook it normally.
I will ask a question about the program.
velli
Bast1nda, Natalia, I cook on "Kasha" usually there the liquid evaporates a little on others I have not tried and do not want to. I really like this program of porridge, it turns out very tasty, both milk and water, such as buckwheat and pearl barley. Sometimes I cook young or small potatoes whole in a small amount of water with butter. By the end of cooking, there is no or very little water, and the potatoes are roasted from the bottom. It remains to sprinkle it with finely chopped garlic and spices for potatoes, mix gently and put on plates on a side dish for meat and fish, cutlets, grilled chicken, sprinkle with fresh dill on top!
LenaU
velli, Valentina, thank you very much for your clear answer.
Bast1nda
Thank you very much for the clarification. Cooked potatoes on "porridge" for 8 minutes. For water and milk 50/50.
Everything worked out. The taste of mashed potatoes is really different, the potatoes are not watery, in general - a different taste and it is more pleasant to me. Well, plus, that much faster and there is no long boil. In general, it is better.

Working on my mistakes. Next time, the time is 10 minutes and inside when cooking, I will add only water, milk and butter when making the puree itself. Water 1/3 of potatoes.

An excellent pressure cooker, unpretentious, comfortable.
LenaU
Girls tell me the valve in the cover is the same for 5002 and 4002. In my trouble, the socket on which the valve ball lies has collapsed. In the workshops of Kiev they said that the spare parts are at best in half a year. Now I decide whether to buy 5002 or trouble with sockets from everyone and buy a 4 liter redmont.
Tan can, as an expert, tell me, give advice.
I'm desperate.
lana light
Lena, I had 5002 and 6002 - the valves are the same. I think that 5002 and 4002 are also the same. These models differ only in displacement, that is, in height

People, please tell me, what is the service life of a saucepan? Is it ceramic? I heard from pans that ceramics serve less than teflon. How about? I am looking after a pressure cooker, I want to take everything into account
lana light
Tusya Tasya, and what, is it ceramic ?!
Just count, I used two, 5002 and 6002, and did not even realize that it was not Teflon!
I really liked the bowls, they are heavy, high quality, so solid! I used one for a year, nothing happened to it. But I didn't really fry in it. Although I often cooked all sorts of casseroles / pastries. They complain about ceramics that after six months it starts to stick to it, but in mine, even after a year, nothing stuck
Then I gave it away, so from my own experience I can speak only for a cup of 1 year of use. It seems to me that not every Teflon will last that long!
In general, only pleasant impressions remained about Ourson.
Arka
Tuska, I have 5002 for more than 4 years. I don't remember exactly, maybe more than 5i.
The bowl is gorgeous! The main thing is to monitor it, to prevent the formation of plaque from boiling and from any protein products (meat, eggs, milk, etc.), immediately thoroughly clean it, especially from the cells at the bottom. Because it can stick precisely because of the loss of the gloss of the coating.
My bowl even withstood the occasional PMM wash.
Tusya Tasya
lana light, Arka, girls, thanks a lot! I studied the characteristics so carefully, asked questions here. And then I went to the seller's website, looked away and saw NOT AVAILABLE. Well, what could not have been immediately noticed? I will try to search again, once praise. Suddenly luck awaits me
LenaU
Natasha, don't look, in our country any breakdown of this really awesome machine is not repairable. Spare parts only from Russia or Belarus, we already have no service centers, unfortunately. Look for something else and see service centers in Ukraine.
Tusya Tasya
LenaU, Helen, I'm afraid that what we sell is also not repairable. But, of course, thanks for the advice. The head is already spinning in the throes of choice.
lana light
Tusya Tasya, Natasha, and did not consider Shteba DD2? It is also a pressure cooker, but there are also modes without pressure (that is, it works like a simple MV), you can set the time and temperature on them (from 30 * C to 150 * C in increments of 1 degree, i.e.function type My recipe / Multi-cook, hence use as slow cooker, yoghurt maker and souvid maker). bowls of excellent quality, there are also non-stick and stainless steel
I just fell in love with her! you also have it, Ukrainian girls bought, praise.

LenaU
Tusya Tasya, I bought a mulya pressure cooker
Tusya Tasya
lana lightWe have now disappeared from sale, it seems. But still it does not suit me for the price. Dear beauty.
Now I'm still considering the DEX DPC-61 and 60 Multi-cooker-pressure cooker. The time and temperature are also set, but with all the bells and whistles, the price is budget. Alarming
LenaU, what did you buy? Which one?

Dear, beloved! Help me prepare vegetable freeze lean, but delicious in this particular model! What I have: "Saute", "vegetables for frying", "cauliflower", "Brussels sprouts", "Hawaiian mix". Potatoes, all sorts of cereals, no problem! I really want to surprise a person who is dear to my heart, but something went wrong with vegetables in St. : pardon: Some kind of disgusting porridge at the exit turns out. I really hope for you, add links at least, I will be immensely grateful !!!! If it is not destiny to cook freezing in a pressure cooker, there is a slow cooker (from the wife). We'll have to get out of the underground ...
P.S.: Happy holiday, women's day! Peace, kindness, love and prosperity in everything!
Arka
Sanya the Bold, "tasty" - different for everyone. For example, I love aldente vegetables. Therefore, I do this: first, blanch at low boil in salted water (fresh 4 minutes, freeze 2 minutes, since it cooks faster). Then (if necessary, I cut it in half, for example, a brusselka) fry in garlic oil for 3-5 minutes (the time depends on the size), try it for the degree of readiness, as it suits, season with salt, chili pepper for spiciness, Parmesan (not for fasting, I suppose, myself I do not fast) and immediately submit. I don't like vegetables in a pressure cooker. They already have a minimum cooking time (for my taste), and you can spoil it with a pressure cooker, IMHO. And in this model, you can't just open the lid to check the degree of readiness, the risk of ruining it increases.
In a pressure cooker, it is better to make long-cooking root vegetables for salad, such as potatoes, carrots, beets.
On the Casserole program, you will get a wonderful baked potato with whole tubers (pour oil, put calibrated potatoes, season, open the lid in the middle of the program, turn the potatoes to the other side, close the lid).
Maybe someone will tell you something else if you describe more intelligibly what is tasty in your understanding.

which is delicious in your understanding.
Only meat can be tasty for me! A fasting mother-in-law is visiting and vegetables for her. Delicious vegetables, as I understand it, is when everything is whole, but ready. While I was waiting for an answer, and the women went out to shop, I decided to make a colored pair. I put it on a plate, a glass of hot water in a bowl, Porridge mode for 10 minutes. I got it at the exit, sorry for the pun, not cabbage, but some snot!

Spat and cook rice with Hawaiian mixture on the stove. While everything is whole.
Thank you all for your participation.

I haven't found anywhere in detail how to cook broth in 5002. I don't like the recipe book, it hurts a lot. How would it be so at once so that the soup turned out Please share, who cooks how?
Arka
Soup or broth?
If there is broth, then put everything in a bowl (meat / bones, onions, carrots, celery, spices and aromatic herbs), add water of the required amount and start the "soup" program for a period of 30 to 1:30 depending on the meat and the desired strength broth.
I remove the foam from the sides of the bowl after the end of the program, it settles above the broth level and can be easily removed with a paper towel. Another part of the foam settles to the bottom. When the broth has cooled down, I gently filter it through a fine sieve, not to the very end, trying not to shake the sediment.
And the residues with sediment can also be filtered through a filter, I run them through cotton pads, since I have no other filters. And sometimes I give it to the cats / dogs along with the boiled meat.

How to cook without foam
without meat
velli
I personally don't bother with foam. I soak any meat for 1-2 hours in a deep bowl, drain the water 2-3 times and rinse until clean water. I put the meat in a m / w bowl and fill it with water 7-10 cm above the meat level. I don't pour a lot of water. I cook Jelly on the program for 1 hour. The broth is much tastier than the soup. Little or no foam when opening the pressure cooker. It all depends on the meat: there is a little more of it in beef, less in pork or not at all. If there is foam, I remove it with a slotted spoon and pour all the contents into another pan, let it cool and put it in the refrigerator. I use the m / v bowl for its intended purpose after rinsing it with hot water. The pressure cooker cooks very well quickly and tasty, it is convenient that the pressure is released quickly and you can immediately open it.
Arka
Good people, tell me!
Is E3 a verdict? At the 2-3rd second of the launch, any program is cut off.
