Lesichka
Maria, I have 2 Unit models. One pressure cooker with smoking function. I bought it at Ozone. They work every day. Easy to operate. In one I cook only porridge, it turns out tasty and fast. I ordered an additional bowl. The coating will not peel off. it is like "cellular", but if it burns, you need to soak it. I even make stew for the second year. Price quality is perfect for me.

Please help me choose from these three multi - pressure cookers: Steba DD1, Brand 6051, PHILIPS HD 2178/03
I can not decide.
mechanic
As a result, I bought Polaris 0305.
Lesichka, thanks for the recommendation of Unit, and I like everything about them, for myself I would consider this option well, or for someone "young". In general, while I was looking for that very option, I turned my eyes even towards Redmond model 4506, a very simple model similar to the brand 6050, but they are now - "dear mother !!!", and where they were sold out "for inexpensive". It was very necessary that the programs were understandable and painted according to the buttons, that is, for the soup, "soup", that there would be a sound signal, that would press and go, it is also very important that the font on the buttons was readable (mom has retinopathy , albeit treated), in general, I hope that my choice will please my mother.
I tested the gift for baking (I did not change the pressure settings, only increased the time) - the biscuit was baked as in my brand 6050, but intuitively I want to put a silicone mat on the bottom, but not critical.
Chardonnay
mechanic, Maria, you probably already gave your mom a cartoon? What is her impression? I also think about the gift, but I doubt whether I will be able to use it ... Although, if we take into account the number of pots with porridge burned on the stove recently, I think that a pressure cooker is still needed)
mechanic
Chardonnay, yes I gave it already. She explained as far as she could, they made soup together. and yesterday she cooked corn porridge herself with milk. At the same time, she was able to change the pressure to less. In general, I did it. True, I have so far advised her to limit herself to the usual programs without additional settings and without "healthy eating." In general, I understand that she is very happy, precisely because now she does not need to monitor the preparation (soup, broth, milk porridge) and she can cook stewed vegetables without having to wait long or throw everything in. And of course the casseroles and charlottes will not be dry or burnt.
pulkeria
Girls, Oursson died today. I feel specifically dead: in the morning I knocked down the program, the milk ran over the edges of the lid and stinks of burnt wires. The husband does not want the service, he says choose a new one. There were complaints about Oursson, so I'm looking for a replacement! The headquarters already exists, you need something the same only with an expanded list of programs and so that the start delay goes until the moment the dish is ready, and not at the beginning of the program as in the Shteb
Bes7vetrov
I will give my Polaris 0505 for 2000))))
pulkeria
I don't want Polaris and Redmond. For me, this is not a technique at all)))) I climbed looked racking my brains between the mulka - I liked the control insanely, but the hemorrhoid care, and the filipkom - everything seems to be fine, but the mulinex has such a menu !!!!!
Lalinika
pulkeria, and you mean the mulka 502832 and 503132? And what is the hemorrhoid in care? I also choose, but between them and Shteba.
pulkeria
Lalinika, looked in the direction of cook4me, but the problem was solved - the husband fixed Oursson. After Cuckoo, I don't like multicooker with a hinged lid ...
Lalinika
pulkeria, it's good when I've already tried something, but I don't know if I like hinged lids, because the cartoon will be the first))). But I read that many, on the contrary, do not like removable ones, since you always need a place to put them.
pulkeria
Lalinika, well, here everyone chooses for himself. For me, it's easier to find a place under the lid for a few minutes than to suffer later to wash the hinged one. The truth is now there are removable screens, I don't know how convenient it is and whether the cover itself saves at all. But it's still more convenient for me to wash it under running water.
lora111
Girls, but no one used the MARTA MT-4309 and MT-4310 multicooker pressure cookers. I have Shteba, I'm happy. And then the son is planning a wedding and he chose this cartoon as a gift.

Hello everyone.
I am facing the choice of a multicooker-pressure cooker
1. Redmond RMC-P350
2. Moulinex CE-5028
Advise experts. Previously, I did not deal with multicooker.
AnastasiaK
Anyuta +, I now have a Redmond 110, I ordered 350 to replace it (I have two spare bowls for 110, and they go up to 350). Mine works flawlessly, and the new one has programs without pressure, temperature, time, pressure adjustment. I look forward to the arrival of my new assistant.
Anyuta +
I really like Redmond both externally and with a complete set and the ability to regulate pressure.
But moulinex interested me very much with its multi-cook, I think it is very convenient that you can set both the temperature and time and decide yourself whether to cook under pressure or without.
Or am I wrong and it's not that important?
And another question, pressure adjustment, as I understand it, is a useful thing, but how to understand when to set what pressure or is it by trial and error?

Anyuta +,
I cannot advise on the models from which you are now choosing. Take it easier, especially if this is the first multicooker. Over time, you will understand that you need more.
I have dd2 staff for more than six months. I am very pleased. I use standard programs. Even my conservative parents appreciated the taste of shteba food.

So these are exactly the possibilities in the new Redmond. Will come, I will try and share my impression.

Hmm ...
But after all, in Redmond, the temperature can only be changed in the frying and baking modes, and they seem to work only as a multicooker (without pressure), or I'm wrong.
Anyuta +
Katya1234,
The fact of the matter is that you want to understand now, so that later it won't turn out that something is missing.
Anyuta +
Katya1234,
Tell me, how do you understand how much pressure you need to put to cook this or that dish?
Evushka
Good day. I ask for advice from you as an experienced multicooker faced with a choice between a Steba DD 2 XL Eco multicooker-pressure cooker and Oursson MP5005 so it happened that I found them for a price almost equal, but now the problem of choosing what ??? HELP PLEASE .. And in addition, I'm going to cook vegetarian dishes, legumes, casseroles, pastries, yoghurts, etc. in general, without meat and fish, given this fact, can anyone help. Thank you.
Evushka
I am waiting for your help ....
OlgaGera
Evushka, I have Oursson MP5005 already 2 pcs. Country and home. One that was bought earlier has already replaced the cover 2 times. The plastic cover bursts. The one that was bought later - everything is fine. Caps are guaranteed for 3 years.
It's convenient for me to cook with this SMB. I make cottage cheese only in it. My other assistants are overheating, although I set T below.
Oursson MP5005 is such a gentle machine. I like. I can't say anything about the Steba DD 2 XL Eco.
Lerele
Evushka, Shtebu, a reliable good saucepan.
annnushka27
Tell me, do we have a topic on autoclaves?

OlgaGera Thank you, what is the second year of release that the cover is stronger? And everything else suits you completely in terms of quality except for the cover ??

And the second of what year of release is the lid stronger?
I bought it in June 13th year. Twisted, did not find the year of issue. I start from the date of operation, and tough. Min. 3 times a day. Either dog food, then its own.
Plows. I'm happy. Even when I stood in a minus room in the country, I worked. A friend in the corridor had another SMV stopped working.
I have all the appliances in the unheated closet.
Evushka
Lerele, Good evening, how long have you been with Shtebochka? and one of her is enough for you?
Evushka
OlgaGera, Clearly, yes, of course, there are many different reviews. Today I will make a decision .. Thank you

Lerele, Good evening, how long have you had Shtebochka? and one of her is enough for you?
Evushka, I do not Lerele, but I will answer. Can?
I have Shteba since January 2014, and I am sooo happy with her. It is enough for me alone, despite the fact that there are two more Orsons (4002 and 5015). But Shteba is somehow dearer, clearer (and clearer), and for me personally, more predictable. I do everything in it, although I have the first model with a stripped-down Vexation mode.
Evushka
BiryusaThank you very much, I also bow to Shtebochka, rather she will be my first assistant.
Zannetochka
Hello) I am choosing a pressure cooker, and now I'm completely confused))) While the choice is between polaris 0305 and Redmond 4506 and 4507, I like Polaris so much, but I read that it burns to the bowl, and in Redmond the bowl seems to be good, but there seem to be fewer possibilities. So I don’t know, we now have Redmond on a special offer, it turns out cheaper than polaris. Maybe you can advise me something, my head is already boiling))) This will be my first pressure cooker, and there is no multicooker. Perhaps there are owners of both)))
Larssevsk
Jeanne, if I choose from these three, I would buy the most inexpensive one. The result will be the same. Pressure cooking is pressure cooking. The rate of pressure build-up, the rate of cooking is approximately the same in all. Spare bowls can be purchased. What else does? Special delicacies cannot be prepared under pressure. The pressure cooker should fulfill its main function - quickly cook meat, legumes, offal, and cook jellied meat. All three cope with these functions.
Zannetochka
Eh, and I study them like that))) The cheapest Redmond 4507, but it looks so simple)
Larssevsk
Jeannethen choose by design. The following qualities are important for me in a pressure cooker:
- good saucepan
- the ability to purchase a spare pot
- removable cover
- presence of a basket - steamers
- nice design
The rest (the number of programs, multi-cooks, master chefs, the "baking" function) are absolutely irrelevant and unnecessary for me.
Happy choice!
Zannetochka
Thank you very much)
Lerele
Evushka, for a long time, always happy. I have a lot of different devices, but if I leave something, it’s a shteba, a slow cooker and a dough sheeter, and a bread maker. But the staff comes first.
Creamy
Lerele, I also have Shteba. Very good, I do everything in it, cook jellied meat, cook stew, boil the heart so that you can eat with your lips, sterilize the jars with a twist. I counted when buying. that 5 - liter Shteba is enough for me, and really, enough for everything. except that in my 5-liter for sterilization in height only half-liter cans are placed. and the cans for 600 or 750 ml are no longer included in height. Now I would buy a Shteba for 6 liters.
Galiha69
I would take Redmond. Near 4504
Evushka
Well, thank you all very much, finally she came to me, my Shtebochka waited a month))) Hurray ..
DIM Minsk

Hello!

Girls tell a man which pressure cooker to buy.
Redmont had a slow cooker, was not needed. Multicooker is not for me at all. I bought a Panasonic bread maker and I'm not overjoyed, now I always have white bread that is not on sale.
Now I want to buy a pressure cooker. It is necessary for cooking jellied meat, meat, and for pilaf, if possible. Everything else does not interest. Advise which is better. And then, as far as I understand, the majority of multicooker-pressure cookers have only declared pressure :-), but in fact there is almost none.
Or buy a simple stainless steel pressure cooker?
Larssevsk
Vadim, and what options are you generally considering? What is on sale in Minsk, what brands?
Sedne
Vadimif you sell Steba take it, it is very good
Larssevsk
If Vadim is not going to bake in it, cook porridge, make sous-vide, yogurt, simmer and other delights, I see no reason to overpay for Shteba or other expensive pressure cookers.
A good budget pressure cooker with a high-quality saucepan is enough to stew the meat. If Vadim lived in Russia, I would recommend Unit 1020 or 1040 to him.
And so, Shteba, of course, is a very good pressure cooker with many functions, a high-quality bowl and a beautiful design.
Sedne
Larissa, the point is, he needs speed. Steba is very fast, not all pressure cookers are fast, you can use the DD1, it is not very expensive. Even if I didn't bake in Stebe, I would still take it
DIM Minsk
Girls, thanks for the answers.
In Minsk we have almost everything that is in Moscow. The question is, I need a "pressure cooker!" That is, the unit operates at a sufficiently high pressure and temperature. In multicooker pressure cookers, this is not always the case, or, as far as I read between the lines, it is almost always not the case. They are airtight and there is a slight excess of pressure in them, but it is so small that the cooking time hardly decreases.
Therefore, I turned to you. You are cooking jellied meat, which means you can tell what is the best way to cook it.
An ordinary stainless steel pressure cooker costs about the same as a budget electric one (for example, Unit). The question is, is it possible to cook colder on Unit and how quickly will it be?
Hence the question of buying an electric miracle or an ordinary saucepan.
Larssevsk
Quote: Sedne

not all pressure cookers are fast

Shteba has a power of 900 watts. No more than others. I have not seen a pressure cooker with a power below 900 W, but with a power of 1000 W I did it myself and she really cooked faster than Shteba, although the pressure cooker itself was not very good because of a bad saucepan. I saw pressure cookers with a power of 1200 watts in reviews.
I love Steba's pressure cooker very dearly for its good quality, functionality, appearance, quietness, but let's be objective.
DIM Minsk
Looked at Steba. Costs 2.5 times more than Unit. And in general for a cold cooker :-) a little expensive.
The speed of cooking in a pressure cooker is not determined by power, but by pressure. Power is needed only for a quick boil, and then it is no longer needed. Boiling takes much less time than cooking itself, so a pressure cooker with a power of 1200W and low pressure can cook slower than a pressure cooker with a power of 900W, but with high pressure. this is so, a lyrical digression on a given topic.
Larssevsk
Vadim, now I will write my opinion and go to work
Of course, an electric pressure cooker and an ordinary saucepan differ primarily in the fact that you threw everything into an electric one, closed it, turned it on and you can go to sleep or go for a walk, but you cannot leave a simple one unattended. This is the whole point and salt of electric pressure cookers - multicooker.
As for the speed - where and what have you heard enough? Normal pressure cooker speed in all devices, if they are not defective.
I cook pork tongue for 20 minutes, beef for 30 minutes, jellied meat for 1 hour both in Shteba and earlier in Unite, and in my very first (with a shitty bowl) pressure cooker, carcass meat for 30 minutes
P.S. Plus 10-15 minutes to pressurize before cooking and 10-15 minutes to open the lid after cooking.
You can speed up the process - pour hot water for a faster set of pressure and forcibly release the pressure after the end of the mode in order to immediately open the lid, but I do not do that.
