I put it for the fourth time, a certain cooking procedure has already been outlined - I remove the zest thinly-thinly with a vegetable peeler with a jagged edge, in this case I like it more than with a straight edge. Then I take off and throw out the white zest, to the very pulp. Then I cut into circles 0.3-0.5 mm thick, so it is more convenient to pick out the bones. Removing the white rind and pits ensures no bitterness.
If I only make limoncella on the zest, I have adapted to cut the zest with green scissors with three pairs of blades. The "bald" lemon itself does not disappear in this case - I cut it into small pieces (you can grind it in a combine), fill it with sugar and stand in a half-liter jar in the refrigerator. I add it to tea or just pour it in boiling water and it turns out such a lemon drink. You can also add honey. Tasty and healthy!
If limoncella with zest and lemon, then I grind the lemon in the same way, just put it in limoncella.
Right now, on the eve of winter, as a preventive measure, immediately after coming home from work to warm up, limoncella with lemon goes well. And for dinner, you can already have a glass of limoncella only on the zest, without lemon.
In any case, it turns out to be a very tasty drink! I'm so glad I learned this recipe!
