Orange liqueur

Orange liqueur

Ingredients

Oranges 1 kg
Sugar 400 g
Water 450 g
Vodka 0.7 l
Cinnamon 1 stick

Cooking method

  • Make sugar syrup. To do this, pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then make a small fire and slowly add sugar, stirring occasionally. Cook until the syrup is thick. As a result of cooking, about 400 ml of syrup will remain. Cool the syrup.
  • Wash oranges, pour boiling water over. Peel off the zest with a special tool so that the white shell does not fall.
  • Squeeze the juice from the oranges together with the pulp.
  • Put cinnamon in a 2-liter jar, pour vodka, syrup, put zest, mix.
  • Close tightly with a lid. You can also tie cellophane on top so that the oils do not evaporate.
  • Leave in a dark place at room temperature for 3 days. Shake once a day.
  • Over time, strain (it was convenient for me to squeeze through a cloth), pour into bottles.
  • The outlet is 1.5 liters of liquor.
  • Orange liqueur
  • Liquor can be drunk pure or used in a cocktail, for example, in Margarita..

The main thing is not to try to taste when shaking! And then at the exit ...
What a cute liqueur, Ksyusha! And how many degrees are there approximately?

The beauty! I learned how to cook Limoncella! Now I'll learn a liqueur too! Do you think it will work out on homemade moonshine?
Omela
Irina, Thank you!

Lena, I don't know how many degrees. I don't have an alcohol meter .. it feels strong .. and I would add sugar for myself.

Moonshine will be even better than vodka. You know that you drive moonshine from natural products And vodka is not known at all from what

And if the oranges (having removed the zest first) are peeled and rotated in a food processor with a knife? And will there be pulp and juice in one bottle?
I'm all spinning around, I want to cook my beloved by March 8
Omela
win-tat, good luck!

Albina, of course, you can filter it anyway.
