I bought myself a second multicooker Redmond RSM 01, a small one just for cereals, but so far I mostly cook soups for the kid, while the soup is ready for a walk. I really like the small bowl. It is convenient to cook porridge in small portions. But I really don't have a pressure cooker, so I can't compare. And so I'm very happy

Happy New Year everyone !!! [/ font] [/ font] [/ color]

Has anyone faced such a problem,
the steam cooking program is buggy, the fact is that during the operation of the multicooker the lid "kicks out" and so on ad infinitum ..
It seems that everything is according to the recipe
would love to steam. If someone knows what this is about, I will be very glad for your advice.
Olga1403
My cartoon seems to be taking revenge on me for wanting a 70 model instead of her. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I washed the bowl, etc. with detergent, wiped it dry, collected it, poured a liter of water into the bowl, put half a lemon, put a bowl for steam, set steam for 15 minutes. The water starts to boil and is dumped, everything writes error e1
Olga1403
The instructions say: system error, possible failure of the control board or heating element
Olga1403
Can it be that the cabinet is about 20 cm above the mw and when a couple of drops of condensate drips onto the valve at the top, does it fail or is it simply because of the close distance of the cabinet above the mv?
Manna
Quote: Olga1403
does it fail or just because of the close distance of the cabinet above the mv?
No, a system error is most often the control board. You go to the service or to the store where you bought this multicooker.
Olga1403
Yesterday I stubbornly tried to boil it with lemon, I flashed it 3 times after a time e1 while I pushed it forward, so that the steam did not go to the cabinet, but upward and it seemed that the program finished up to the end and there are no failures so far, there are 14 days to return to the online store. the same service center, in Germany they seem to sell alone. So I'll wait, I'll give her a chance :) just earned. I made corn porridge in the morning. Nothing escaped, but everything was cooked in two layers, the lower one was undercooked, so seized, and the upper fluffy, not bad in taste. I took milk 3.5 diluted with about 1.3 water. I tried to follow the recipe, but still the recipe was not 100 percent sustained, because there are no weights, but porridge in grams is in the recipe. Maybe this double layer is due to the fact that it mixed poorly? I tried to gently stir it with a regular spoon, maybe there was no silicone one yet, I was afraid to scratch the bowl. The question arose with what water to dilute boiled or raw milk? Diluted with boiled. And she greased the bowl with more oil, can the porridge grab so hard that there was too much oil at the bottom? I smeared the bottom more soft, not melted, it turned out a little in places very thin layers of butter, and the bowl was melted.
Olga1403
Testing mv continues. I made exactly the recipe from the book potatoes with eggplants. Added one small carrot only. Here's what I learned:
Multicooker Redmond RMC-M90
Tasty to taste! First test. Boiled-stewed taste. For the potatoes I was afraid that it would boil over, because the variety for mashed potatoes was only at hand. But she remained intact. Eggplant with soft skin. I bought a scale today and made it straight by grams. Tk, I think, the morning result with porridge due to inappropriate gr ml of products :) it is interesting to know the opinion of others about my porridge described above.
By the way, about the smell from the multicooker. Vinachale was small, after, finally, the successful boiling of lemon, the bowl did not smell. The body itself smells a little, but I was bent over to smell it :)) specially, I read a lot of reviews about the smell. It will be necessary, by the way, for comparison to smell AFochka) but it seems that when you open there is no smell and there is no smell in the dish either.
Maiya
something Temka has calmed down ((
Olga1403
Honestly, I waited and waited for an answer about porridge and lost hope.Especially time is not, taking pictures and exhibiting, and therefore took mv.
In general, I am pleased with her, I prepared a biscuit according to a recipe from a book and a honey cake according to a recipe from another site, stewed potatoes and duck, meatballs and porridge.
Olga1403
I decided to leave her. Everything turned out from the above delicious, maybe only a biscuit for 4 and I will not figure it out with porridge, if it is mixed only once before turning it on, it’s all the same, as if it’s not plowed but in layers, but I mix it 2 more times: once in the middle once at the end and let it stand on the heating and then it turns out well. Maybe the child is small, I wanted to mess with porridge less than on the stove. Not 3 times to interfere in any way, take less than you used to stand and stir all the time. I’ll be baking another honey cake tomorrow, I liked it: I threw it off after 50 minutes, stood there, poked with chopsticks and checked the dough, everything rose evenly.
Olga1403
Here is a photo of a honey cake, only after I smeared it with sour cream, dividing it into 3 cakes. It was possible to make more parts, because it was high enough. And fudge on top
Multicooker Redmond RMC-M90
Annutka
Olga1403, you got a good honey cake, but what was the recipe for it?
Olga1403
Once it was "incomprehensible" when I cooked meatballs. I put out the markings on the baking for about 10 minutes, then I put the meatballs and chose the stewing mode and wanted to set it for 45 minutes, initially there was a given time for one hour. After working for a minute, mv switched to heating mode. Once again I set 50 minutes already, and immediately after switching on I switched to heating mode. For the third time I put out the extinguishing and left the set hour and the program went fine. Then I really wanted to cancel the heating, and instead of the menu I pressed the heating when there were about 20 minutes left and turned it off completely. Tk this action does not cancel heating, but any operating program and then set it again for 20 minutes for extinguishing, everything started normally. I did not understand why at the beginning 2 times for 45 and for 50 minutes when she exhibited, she switched to heating ... can anyone explain. The only answer is, if it wasn't just that she had a glitch, then after baking the temperature was higher than during the stewing program and she wanted to lower the temperature by switching to heating. Tk heated 70 degrees, as far as I know. I apologize for the mistakes, I write very quickly.

Because the stewing was switched on immediately after baking - the bowl was overheated and the overheating protection was activated.
Olga1403
Thanks for the answer,Manna, I expected!
Annutka, I will write the recipe later and I made another honey cake according to another recipe, came up even more, I will post later a photo and a recipe
Olga1403
Here is a section of a new honey cake. (Leftovers :) According to the second recipe, it turned out a little higher and looser. I went a little too far with the cream, it turned out to be very moist, but still tasty. A plate covered in chocolate :) maybe it was a workout "for myself" ...
Multicooker Redmond RMC-M90

eggs 5 pcs.
sugar 1.5 cups = 270 gr (1 cup = 180 gr)
honey 4.5 tbsp. spoons = 135 gr (1 tbsp.spoon = 30 gr)
soda 0.75 tsp
baking powder 1.5 tsp
flour 3 cups = 360 gr (1 cup = 120 gr)

50 minutes baking mode, let it stand without heating for 10 minutes, then took it out, stood for another 10 minutes and took it out, cut it. Cream: sour cream 400g approximately, but there was a lot of that, and 4 tablespoons of sahara and lemon zest. Beat, put in the zest and mix a little.

---
The recipe for the first cake: 6 tablespoons of honey, 5 eggs, 1 glass of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 2-2.5 cups of flour.
---

I melted honey with baking powder until frothy and then into the dough, in the first recipe honey is added to the beaten eggs, melted and beaten further, then sifted flour with baking soda and baking powder. The recipe that I wrote the first is a cake that came up more, it turned out looser, and which I have in the second photo (smeared with cream) I clarify for everyone. Happening. I didn't take my recipes from other sites.

After working for a minute, mv switched to heating mode.

The MV also turns off the extinguishing mode when there is little liquid.Often at the very beginning, when the food has not yet yielded juice and the overheating protection works, as Manna said. Adding very little water at the very beginning helps.
Mila Sweetheart
And the proportions in the recipe book often make mistakes. Therefore, recipes from the forum are more reliable
Although I often put it on my own. And I keep the corn porridge heated overnight (and almost all the others too). It turns out very tasty. For 1 liter of milk 1 m. Art. cereals. And I also do mixes (mixtures of cereals). They become very friendly and tasty overnight.
Olga1403
Mila Sweetheart, and during cooking do not stir it at all or stir it a couple of times?
Mila Sweetheart
Olga1403, no, I do not interfere. I can drop by to see what's there. Sometimes I put the butter right away, sometimes I put it in the end and mix it. In the evening I will cook before going to bed and leave it on heating. She steamed overnight. Try as you like best.

Hello!
I have also been using this MV for 2 years now, I bought it for cereals. I cook almost every day, I really love buckwheat from it, sometimes I even make oatmeal from whole cereals, but my son does not really like it, so rarely.
I do not interfere with anything, I throw it in the evening, I postpone it so that it is ready at 5 in the morning, and it costs 1.5-2 hours on heating before breakfast (this is on weekdays, of course). Yes, I thought that sometimes the porridge is not homogeneous. But honestly, I never bothered with this, did not even think about it. I mix it before putting it on the plates and everything is fine
OlgaYUB
I do buckwheat very often. For 1 m.stk I take 2-2.5 m.stack of water, 1 hour. l salt (a little less). Stirred. Express mode. The program has ended, you can stir and leave on the heating for about 5 minutes. Normal porridge!
OlgaYUB
I also make "Wheat" (wheat porridge) on the Groats mode.
On the Milk porridge mode, I like both millet and rice. Nothing escapes! But with rice for a side dish, the problem! it all depends on the rice, I just can't get it crumbly.
SmiLena
OlgaYUB, try rice by this recipe... I really like it, it is for a side dish.

Today I cooked buckwheat on the "cereals" program. For two glasses of buckwheat, 4 glasses of water and salt to taste.

Congratulations. Castrulka is good, let it please !!!!! Tidhadshi !!!!! (I add half a teaspoon of curry to buckwheat and a spoonful of olive oil)

Thank you, Ellochka.
I would add curry, but I have two conservative eaters at home
More precisely, the husband, perhaps, would also eat, although he does not like the local cuisine. But the son ...
This one will not even touch if he smells something wrong. Will rush to the nearest McDonald's. But this I do not want at all.
Alycha
Yes, I, too, are conservatives, in addition, my husband does not eat meat, does not eat small fish, etc. but everyone is calm about curry ugh ugh
Caprice
Class. And my son doesn't eat fish either. Except for tuna. And I eat meat to a minimum.
And just in general, on occasion I will try to add curry. Maybe it will pass?

I recently bought an M90. Super car. The smell was at the beginning, but not critical. I didn't even steam it with lemon - it went quickly (a new thing after all). I tried cereals, beef stroganoff, pilaf, stewed rabbit in yogurt prepared in the same cartoon, yogurt and even bread (recipe from the book)!

Multicooker Redmond RMC-M90

Happy as a boa constrictor! It is a pleasure to cook in it, and it saves time - no need to constantly hang around the stove by adjusting the temperature!
Not a single dish was spoiled.

Those who stink and burn - maybe they ran into a fake? I took it in a company store and everything works flawlessly. I bought an extra bowl and lids for them and now a complete set!

Here's another photo of beef with vegetables:

I found such interesting news on the official website of Redmond. You can put remote control on this model for free. Maybe someone will come in handy. It's great that you can improve your multicooker. Here is a link to a detailed description of this upgrade 🔗

We somehow wanted to make such an update for my mother on the M170 multicooker. I then tried to find at least someone who installed an update for themselves, but I could not find it. And then we faded something with this idea. Mom lives in Perm, and I am far from her. And I don't know if there are any company stores or service centers. I know for sure that in Moscow and St. Petersburg they install remote control on multicooker models m90 and m170. If suddenly someone will upgrade their multicooker, unsubscribe what changes and whether it is convenient to use the remote control. Well, as far as is clear. Otherwise, if we decide, then I will have to explain to my mother how and what to do, and this is all over the phone. It seems everything is easy there. But I'm interested in the same functionality will be like the new models or how. And in general, I wonder how this update will be installed.
brusya
The link you provided leads to a non-existent page ...

Found this news at the office. site redmont. It says that they put the update only in Moscow and St. Petersburg ...

I thought that there should be service centers in other large cities. We will definitely not take a multicooker to Moscow))) It will be a pity if they do it only in these cities. I have already irritated my mother with this idea.
Lisa alisa86
: girl-th: listen, so they will transfer all the multicooker to a remote location, but the idea is good
Lisa alisa86
but have not heard, maybe the lifting ten can be done in service centers as a remote control. He brought his "old lady", and she acquired the function of a masterfry

Good day.
Yesterday I bought such a saucepan and wondered, what kind of multicooker recipes are suitable for it according to the modes?
For example, I have Bork, recipes from some "Cuckoos" are suitable for her, but how with Redmond?
I bought it to replace Panasonic, which has served faithfully for 5.5 years.

Yes, almost any can be adapted, plus there is a multi-cook. For my recipes from the r4s application I take and "cook with redmond", in principle, there is no need to use recipes from other multicooker.

Good day!
I have a question for you ...
I have been using this multicooker for a long time, it suits me completely, no complaints. But the following problem arose long ago. Not all recipes are obtained from a recipe book! A banal example is potatoes baked in foil. I do everything according to the instructions, the recipe is the simplest, in which it is simply impossible to get confused! And for the specified time, the potatoes are not only not baked, but slightly warm. The same goes for almost half of the recipes. By the way, the multicooker is working properly, I cook in it every day, but according to recipes taken from the Internet.
Tell me, is it just me having such problems or is the recipe book really compiled with mistakes?
Rarerka
Larissa, this is a problem of almost all technology

Galaxy, have you bought yourself a smartphone yet for your multicooker, so that the control is really remote?
Jess
Hello! I bought a cartoon M90 2-3 months ago. I cooked porridge, pilaf, muffin, fried liver and then stewed it. I noticed that everything began to stick, even porridge on the water (wheat and corn). Why is that? Has my cup really gone to waste in just 2 months?

The second question: is the RB-A503 bowl with non-stick coating better than the native one? If you buy it, what is better to do in it, and what is better in ceramic?
djen
I, too, began to stick everything in the bowl, even when stewing. I called the service, the boy says that I burned it down with improper use. And now only a new one is needed. And I only have this slow cooker for six months, and even then I don't use it very often. I think this is still the problem with this bowl. So minus Redmond! I have a little Japanese girl for about 8 years now and nothing sticks or burns.
Venta
It's strange. My slow cooker is 2 years old - still my own bowl is like new - nothing sticks, does not burn, although I was also afraid. Carcass, boil, bake ... Mine carefully, I use only silicone and wooden spoons.
Dashik
I start to stick to the bowl from the very first day. I just pulled the old one (5 years old) from Panasonic and inserted it into Redmond.
At first I thought it would not work and would have to order, but nothing happened.
Kotok
Hello. She also became the proud owner of the M90. Before that I used a pressure cooker 4504. For a long time I chose between this and the M250. I was embarrassed by the control on the lid and the 4-liter bowl in the M250 (in the former -5 l, in principle it still works, but the bowl was scratched badly and the upper part of the lid broke off - the handle). I really liked to cook in it - in the morning, milk oatmeal is ideal, at lunchtime - a chocolate cake and nuggets - great, for dinner - french fries (not very browned, added another 5 minutes, nothing has changed, in the end it is not very similar, probably not necessary it was immediately salted, and according to the recipe it is necessary to throw in a semi-finished product, but I have a usual one). It turned out to be an ordinary fat fried potato). In general, as they say, there is work to do)). And the bowls are mostly so-so at Redmond, and the plastic is of poor quality, and the inscriptions on the buttons were completely erased after a month or two. Here's the functionality - yes. For this I chose.

Elena8
Kate, congratulations on the new slow cooker. She cooks just fine, but the quality of the multi has let down a little. I have M 90 first issues, the latch that holds the lid has already broken and now it is gathering dust.
Kotok
Thank you, Elena) Indeed, when purchasing a Redmond, it is worth remembering its fragility (in particular the bowl and plastic). And they don't lie about the service life - at least two years. Their pressure cooker served for 3 years, then the plastic flew. Philips claims a 5th service life, but Panasonic sets a service life of 7 years at all.
New, more interesting models just appear. For example, why I chose the M90 is 3D heating. And, by the way, it heats up quickly. And the time indicated is correct - the countdown starts immediately, and not like in a pressure cooker - first, the pressure builds up for about 10 minutes, then starts to cook ... in the end, that's what it takes.
Today I cooked curd. From 1.2 liters of kefir, about 120 g of cottage cheese is obtained (I did not weigh it by eye). Little .. but tasty ... just like from the oven.
