can I duplicate the message? (Brand yogurt maker) maybe they will answer faster here? girls, I need help !! I make yogurt, and not for the first time already, from Izbenka acidophilus. and now I don’t understand what happened to the last two games. a day or two after cooking, I open the lid, and there is something like white mold (what kind of fungus?) If you remove "this", then the next is odorless and edible yogurt. But earlier, in summer, for example, this was not observed. the manufacturer of acidophilus started chemistry or am I doing something wrong? Help!! I love yogurt ...

Is "Izbenka" acidophilus a ready-made store-bought dairy product?

If so, I recommend using dry starter cultures. Then nothing "left" will grow in you. At least there is a much better chance of getting acidophilus. Well, milk must be boiled and the cups must be sterilized.

... we will definitely raise the history of the issue and will definitely answer this question for sure. As far as I remember, after the first batch arrived, there were many complaints that the lids were very tight, that children could not open them. Whether these requirements were made to the manufacturing plant, I will not say for sure now.

I was a little late in answering.
I am reporting. The plant was not tasked with changing the density of the cover.
We tested the latest batch of yoghurt makers. There are cups with tight-fitting lids, and there are those with loose-fitting lids.
And the reason for this is not in the lids, but in the cups. They have a slight difference in the diameter of the upper circle. As I wrote earlier, there is a large% of cups rejection at the factory, so cups from different batches can end up in one yogurt maker.
At the moment, our company does not plan to take any decisive measures in this regard, because, as I said earlier, there is no consensus about whether the covers should fit tightly and withstand rollover or not.

So my advice to anyone who has such an opportunity, when buying, just choose jars with the density of the lid that suits best.
Aygul
Vadim, thank you for your attention to the question and information.
Is it possible to contact the company on Monday via video link in order to show how some caps fulfill a purely symbolic meaning, because they absolutely do not hold? At least just for the sake of seeing that it is so, so that the pickers do not collect such, so that they pay attention to it.
Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to check before receiving

MariV, Luysia, thank you very much for your answer. Yes, Izbenka is a finished product, but since the shelf life is 5 days I decided to try it. Banks, I sterilize naturally. It's just that in our city there is nothing besides Evitalia, so we wanted variety. Eh, you have to go to Moscow or order in the internet. Thanks again
MariV
Buy starter cultures at the Institute of the Dairy Industry - there for yogurt, acidophyllin, and cottage cheese. Stored in the freezer for a long time.

Good afternoon, Aygul! In the very near future we will install a webcam on the computer from which we will communicate.(But you can do without it, the main thing is that we see you (cups and lids), and you hear us! Write me your Skype in a personal letter, I will send you mine. After confirming the contacts, we will be able to hold a video conference! To you in a personal letter!

Today a strange mess happened to me: yesterday I diluted the leaven, as usual ... I turned on the yoghurt maker, as usual ... Everything worked, sweated, warmed up, as usual ... And in the morning ... half the jars of yogurt, and half with slightly sour milk ... I put it on the second cycle, it thickens

Man, can you not evenly stir the leaven? And it turned out the second time, no?
SchuMakher
Not Mann, interfered in the basin, as usual ... The second time it turned out okay ... I thought it was a sinful thing to think that the bottom warms up unevenly, I touched it, okay ... It was, not

Yes, I also thought about this first thing. And, we can, what influenced the environment (draft there or something else), no?
SchuMakher
No, she stood as usual, and the unleavened cans were in the middle and on the edge
MariV
Oh, Manya, what a pity! Is this the first time such a joint?
Manna
Well fse, I've run out of versions
SchuMakher
Yeah, Magnol ... the first time ... It's so strange ... During the second cycle (4 hours) everything was fermented with a bang

Mann, I also have no explanation for this phenomenon

In early July I ordered a yogurt maker and, in addition, a set of glasses. In a yogurt maker, one glass had a strong internal chip on the bottom. Replaced it from a set with cups. All the cups had a tight lid, which I liked. The next day, they brought in a new set of cups, but, unfortunately, their lids were already loose. I had to take these, but the sediment remained.
I read that this is not a problem of lids, but that the cups are slightly smaller in diameter. It is unpleasant that cups of different diameters are produced. And, unfortunately, when ordering in the videoBrand online store, there is no way to choose glasses with tight-fitting lids.
As for children, I think that a child (or someone else, for example, an elderly person) can take a jar from the refrigerator by the lid. The can can jump out and break on the floor, damaging the child (and not only) with fragments. I don’t think this is better than a tightly pressed lid, which is harder to open.
I make yoghurt only in Evitalia. It always works. I want to try other starters in the future. A couple of days ago I made yogurt on Evitalia and it seemed to me a little thinner than usual. I think because of the lower temperature in the apartment than in the summer. Still, it was somehow, the yogurt turned out a little grainy. I want to buy a thermometer and measure the temperature of the entire cooking process. There is an electronic thermometer at home, it turns off, it cannot be left in a glass for a long time. And I don't want to open the lid, because of heat loss.
There was another case, I left the yogurt maker for 12 hours. There were 2 hours left before the shutdown of work, and it stood for several hours with the figure 2 hours before shutdown. Until I realized that the yoghurt maker has not been heating for a long time and the time is 12 hours long ago, but the yogurt turned out. I sin on the power drop in the network.

Who is FOR tight-fitting lids and who is AGAINST?
SchuMakher
If there is no need to carry yogurt with you, then what's the difference how they fit ... But if you set yourself the goal of making the cups also transportable, of course it should be tighter
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Vadim, but there is no way to make cups with threaded lids? I think it would suit both those who are FOR and those who are AGAINST. I think that in this case even the date could be sacrificed.

I, I am for tight-fitting! I have to take yogurt with me to work until it turns over and pours out t-t-t, but when I close the cups with lids after cooking, they (some) jump straight off, that is, I put them on, and they crawl up - not buzzing like - then. I have a yogurt maker 4002, but I wrote here, since there are more people here.

Oksana, thank you.
Denis from your company phoned me and promised to deliver a new yogurt maker
I will definitely write about the results of testing the new yogurt maker here in the forum
Photo of yoghurt made in Brand 4001 Yoghurt Maker after replacing a defective (loose) lid. Ripening takes place normally. The temperature of milk at the inlet is 39-40g, in yogurt at the outlet is 41-42g.

And it is better to make the lids for the cups tightly closing, since it is convenient to take the cups by the lids

Miranda, hello!

The first time this happened with our yogurt makers ...
Bring it to our "Brand" service center, we will take a look.
We will try to return it as soon as possible.

Employee of the "Brand" company
Here I have the same problem. Today I also gave an error E1. The bowl is a little warm It's a shame, because I used the yogurt maker 5 times in total
Irma
I, too, favor tight-fitting lids, and screwed ones are even better. The whole family takes a glass of yogurt to work.

Miranda
Hello everyone!

By the way, I'm going to write everything, but life is full of events.

We could not get to the warranty workshop with the problem of temperature loss. She is in Moscow time alone and at the other end of the city from us, it is sooo inconvenient to go. We just bought a second one. Moreover, my mother was going to take the same one for herself, that is, the purchase of the second was planned.

In order not to be confused, I checked the serial numbers with the warranty and glued a plaster to the new one. Then we had a small renovation, things were taken out and brought in from the kitchen. I don’t know how, but yogurt makers were confused. Maybe the child re-glued the plaster.

And then the moment came when my mother had to give the second yogurt maker, and we were already going to go to the warranty workshop with our own. And only then did they see that they had been using their old one for the last three weeks.

That is, our yogurt maker, which had previously lost its temperature and did not ferment (and we tested it several times for this), having stood for almost two months without doing, suddenly began to return to a normal temperature again. And we used it for a couple of weeks, thinking that it was new.

What was it?

Probably, you still need to get to the warranty one. But she has a guarantee until spring, while we are still driving. Because it seems to work and go far too lazy.

So it goes

Miranda
Yes, I forgot to say.

When the yogurt maker began to give out a temperature of 28-29 degrees, her window fogged up where the time was. And while she stood idle, the condensation evaporated.

I don't know if these events are related, just as a fact.

From versions:
- carried back and forth, something inside fell into place
- since there was condensation in the window, it means there was some kind of leak
Now everything is ok. We drive the car 3-4 times a week - yogurt and perevaska, cottage cheese.

Today I took the Brand 4001 yogurt maker ordered in the online store. But I didn’t rejoice in my happiness for long ((: cray: I didn’t have time to bring it home, on the street it fell out of the box, can you imagine? I carried the box by the handle, and the bottom of the box suddenly opened, and it fell straight onto the asphalt (( (And I didn’t run, didn’t shake it, but calmly walked, dreaming of yoghurt. In the dark I didn’t have time to really see if something was damaged, I put it back, and at home I found that the metal case was bent, and now between the plastic bottom and a gap formed in the metal case. Tell me, will this affect her work? Probably the heat will now escape through this gap? Or is it a purely cosmetic defect (I hope)? The husband offers to align ...

What a nuisance ((Very sorry.
Clarified on your question in the SC.

The gap between the base and the body does not affect the performance of the yogurt maker.

Thank you! Hurray !!!
Yes, I checked its performance now by pouring water into glasses. Warms like normal. I'll try to make yogurt.

I tested the yogurt maker in action, everything worked out great, it keeps the temperature well. In general, I concluded that besides the fact that it is ideal in terms of making sour milk, it is also shockproof))))

Girls, I saw this yogurt maker in Ozone, a little cheaper than everywhere else, at 1350 rubles. Reliable office, who knows? I'm afraid to make a mistake. China. Year 2012, as written, the warranty period is 1 year. So that's it? Advise, who is the thread, eh?
I don’t want to overpay ... So I already have a couple of yogurt makers .. But the opportunity to shove half-liter jars in there is already painfully tempting ..
Aygul
Take what is convenient - before you pay at the issuing center, you can check it for the integrity of the cups, lids, ... everything. But ozone has never had any shoals in relation to Brand 4001 yogurt makers, everything comes whole (I ordered 4 pcs.)
Irina.
I ordered a lot of equipment in Ozone, including Brand firms - a yogurt maker, an airfryer. Everything works fine, I use it with great pleasure. I also like that payment upon receipt, checked the integrity of the goods and paid.
Happy shopping, Lara !!!
Lara_
Thank you very much, girls, for supporting and helping to make a decision!
I'm a coward
Irina.
Lara do not be afraid, you may not redeem the order if you don’t like the yoghurt maker in some way or something will be wrong with her (but everything will be fine). I once ordered a pressure cooker-smokehouse from Ozone. I printed it out at the point of issue, and there was a bowl with scratches, I refused the order. The girls did not even say anything that I refused, it is our right to redeem the order or not.
Oca
Lara, even if something wrinkled or broken on a prepaid basis arrived (I pay ahead so that delivery is free), you can still refuse by writing a piece of paper - a claim to the quality of the goods. The money will be returned! The main thing is not to leave the checkout and print on the spot. Good luck
Lara_
Thanks, girls!
Soon I will be making yogurt on an industrial scale
Lara_
Girls, now I'm with you. I've already tried one batch of ferment. Fine.
Only I have a question. I look at the pictures, the girls put the jars in the big yogurt bowl, not on the bottom of the yogurt maker. Is it so that it doesn't overheat? And if you put it right on the bottom?
Manna
Lara, no, it doesn't overheat. We put it this way, because it is more convenient to carry the jars and wash the bowl, and not the whole yogurt maker.
Irina.
I have a yogurt maker in the room, so as not to disturb her in the kitchen. I always put it in a bowl, it's so convenient for me. I made up the glasses, poured the milk and took it to the yogurt maker. And when the yogurt is ready, I take out the bowl, close it with the white lid and put it in the refrigerator to cool the yogurt. It will stand for a while and only then I close the cups with lids. I do this so that condensation does not form on the inside of the lid.
And it's easier for me to look after the yogurt maker, I washed the bowl and everything is clean.
Lara_
Clear. Thank you
Still, what smart women we have ..
Luckyanova
Girls! please teach a beginner. When I put yogurt in a large bowl, I only need to close it with a common transparent lid - as in the instructions But a lot of condensation forms ... Who - what is doing with it?
Aygul
Or nothing, if I’m not at home at night or during the day, or if I don’t sleep at home, then I can, passing by, seeing all this, remove the transparent lid and drain the condensate into the sink, and then put it back or dry it with a paper towel. That is, if I am free, I can do something with this condensate, but I can not do it, this does not affect the yogurt itself. The main thing is, at the end, when removing the lid, do not pour condensate into the yogurt
Luckyanova
Thank you for your prompt reply. Why can't you just close a large bowl first with a plastic opaque lid, and then with a common transparent one? After all, then water will not collect on the common lid. And then there is so much of it that it even flows out ..
Aygul
then the condensation will collect on the white lid and then all of it will be in yogurt.
Do you have a transparent cover exactly? I do not leak, there is a bit of condensation along the very rim of the yogurt maker, but not so that it pours on the side surface
Luckyanova
Everything stands exactly. I made the first time with Evitalia sourdough from 2 liters of milk for 12 hours according to the instructions. Now I think maybe this is a long time and should be kept less? It hasn't cooled down to the end and I'm worried ...
Aygul
you do not ferment in time, but until a dense clot forms.
Has it been 12 hours already? how did it go? if overexposed, the serum will exfoliate
