Hello everyone, so I could not resist and bought the U700 as a gift to my girlfriend, everything happened as in a dream, accidentally took money that day, accidentally came across a multicooker offer, and bought it, it cost me around 6000r. new. A question about the sound of work, so far I have only started self-cleaning and periodically there was a sound like from a transformer, should it work like that?

The question is not about the price, the price is due to the lack of a box, a couple of scratches on the case. A question about work, can anyone upload a video recording the work of the MV, it does not give anything upon request, only a couple of times mentioning it on the forums (sound of the substation), again without an answer.
After the purchase, I do not sleep at night, I want to try it out faster and cook pilaf for a girl on the 8th (she has long dreamed of it).
Vei
HaiDOS, well, it happens that it buzzes just like a "transformer", in such cases I raise it a little from the front and lower it, the noise goes away. And so the induction heaters are always buzzing, but quietly, this fan is working.
HaiDOS
Vei, Thank you very much for your reply! I can't wait until this is the 8th

so you must first check everything yourself, and then, having experience, make an impression on the girl, otherwise an embarrassment may occur.
with pilaf, the most important thing is to rinse the rice very well, put water with cereals in a ratio of 1/1 (!) no more and do not spare the oil.

Unfortunately, there will be no time for this (work). Regarding the recipe, yes, I have already studied the theory on the forum. A question about oil, do not spare when frying meat, or add it when laying rice?
Vei

Better when roasting meat, as the oil will smell soggy before setting the rice. In general, it will not be tasty.
HaiDOS
Thanks again for the advice, everything worked out and it turned out just awesome. Already I managed to make rice and semolina porridge with milk, pants full of joy) Now my favorite cereals do not burn =)
ALana
Good afternoon, owners of Bork U700, tell me please, I want to buy this multicooker, but I am confused by a few moments - the preparation of milk porridge and soup.
I read the posts of this forum and realized that milk porridge in it needs to be cooked only in the Multipovar 95C mode - how long will milk porridge be cooked at this temperature? And even on a multibove, will it be like baked milk? Can't you use Kasch mode at all? It's just a matter of principle for me to cook milk porridge for children. If it is inconvenient to cook Porridge in it, then this is not my option.
As for the soup, does it get washed out in the Soup mode?
And does the taste of food cooked in this multicooker change? It's just that at our dacha Polaris 517, and in it the food acquires a specific taste, it is immediately clear that they did not cook on the stove. Maybe because of a cheap saucepan. I would not like to repeat)
Only this for now stops me from this acquisition)
Thanks a lot for your help.
HaiDOS
ALanaGood evening, I will try to answer your questions, there is not much experience. As for cereals, if the temperature is set above 95, the milk will begin to boil and then inevitably there will be a lot of foam and the porridge will "run away", I always cook on a multi-cooker with an open lid and under personal supervision, the taste of the porridge is identical to the one cooked on the stove. As for soups, again I cook on a multi-cooker, in fact, it turns out the same cooking as on the stove, made a fry, threw it in and cook in the same way. As for the taste, such a problem may appear over time due to the rubber seal, which is prone to absorbing tastes and odors. The main thing that I liked about the multicooker is the constant temperature, nothing burns (unless of course everything is done on time), it does not boil away, as a result, you don’t have to guard near it and check every 20 minutes.
I would like to ask you a question, do you mind the current price for it? I was lucky I bought it for a symbolic price, for 16,000 I would not take it, for me it is not worth the money. Look at Avito, there are where people sell new ones.
ALana
Thank you very much, I just wanted to buy there) Does it turn out that you can cook with a multi-cook without pressure with an open lid? If so, how long does it take to cook porridge without pressure. And as for what you cook under personal supervision, forgive the whole point of the multicooker disappears, because it is just needed so as not to follow the cooking ... or I misunderstood ..
HaiDOS
ALana Yes, that's right, with the lid open and without pressure, it will cook like on a regular stove. As for the latter, apparently it will come with experience, at first I follow the preparation in a multicooker more carefully than when cooking on the stove
Vei
ALana, the hobbyhorse of this particular multicooker is hot meat dishes. Porridge can be cooked without fear with the lid closed at a temperature not higher than 95-97C, the time depends on the cereal and the degree of variability. But with temperatures below 100C, you should not count on significant pressure, therefore, it will essentially take as long to prepare as on the stove. Only the taste will be better and there is no need to stand over the porridge.
For first courses and broths, I would not recommend a pressure cooker with automatic steam release at all, because, again, you won't pour much and you won't put a high temperature - it's risky, you may spit broth during steam release. On the automatic program Broth everything is cooked for a long time, I used it only once. But nothing can escape there.
In general, if you do not need to cook, but just a multicooker with a good bowl and super quality, then take this one, you will be happy.
I have been using it constantly for more than 2 years, but mainly for meat, goulash, roast, stew, pilaf, cabbage rolls / peppers and the like. These dishes are very tasty and cook quickly (about 40 minutes). Steamed well.
The rest I cook in other devices, since I have a lot of them. But I cook soups and jellied meat in SV Shteba. And also induction is in my favor, but MV Bork U600.
ALana
Thank you very much for your reply) I would still like one multicooker-pressure cooker, there is very little space in the kitchen) And speed is important to me. That is, I understand correctly that if I am interested in porridge, soup and meat dishes (pilaf, roast), then it is better to choose another pressure cooker, for example Steba. Did you cook meat dishes at Stebe, pilaf?
Vei
Quote: ALana

Of course I did, with a non-stick bowl you can cook absolutely anything. I took the 6L version so that you can cook a lot of jellied meat.
And I have Bork for high-speed frying and stewing, but Shteba is more versatile.
ALana
Thank you very much, then you helped me with the choice)

Elena Tim, Elena Tim,
Hello! I can't get baked goods in mulch. the second time I make a manna, I choose the baking mode. it turns out raw. please tell me what am I doing wrong?
Elena Tim
Lena2015,
Good question ... I've already baked it a hundred times, and not only me. Tell me, Len, does your multicooker work normally in other modes? And yet you did everything right according to the recipe, without decreasing or increasing anything?
In general, have you already baked something on the Bakery? Did everything work out okay?

I can’t master the whole Temka, so I very much ask the owners of this saucepan to share their opinion, how do you like it? Are you satisfied with everything? Are there any downsides? It just became possible to take her for an inexpensive, so I think, but do I need ...
Seven-year plan
Ol! If not expensive, then of course take it !!!!
I took it even for dear, when they were at their peak! And I don’t regret it !!!!
High quality, excellent saucepan !!!
Personally, I really like it !!!!
How much I cooked in it, there were never any failures !!!!
Vei
Olga, this is my favorite Multicooker, but not for the first liquid dishes, but for hot (especially meat), rice and vegetables.
She plowed me for more than 3 years every day and several times a day, until I accidentally turned her head to a button, there was no time to get to the service, to fix it.
Ofeliya
So we must take it. especially since I have something to cook liquid in. How can you check it at the carrier's office?
Seven-year plan
Ol, as always!
Turn on, poke on the buttons, start the frying program and try - is it hot or not!
It starts to warm up instantly!
With the lid open, frying works, only the lid lock lever must be turned to the closed position!
jslada
Dear forum users, we need advice. I understand, it's up to me, but what would you do? I have a cracked button on the cartoon that closes the lid. Now the lid closes, but somehow it is not tight, and you can see that a little bit more and this thing will break altogether .. The two-year warranty has not ended yet, today we handed it over to the store. They said, if they don't fix it within 72 hours (which is most likely), we can change it to a new one. The question arises. The U-700 is no longer being produced. U-702, it's kind of like ours, only updated, but the bowl seems to be smaller. You can pay 4000 and take the U-800. But I read something from the reviews, she seems to work in a completely different way, but I'm so used to mine (already in horror, how I will live 72 hours without her ...) In general, help, what to do ??
Vei
Yulia, I would change it to 702, the bowl there is hardly smaller, since they have the same volume standard, and the case is new, maybe there will be no problem with the button anymore. For me, this button broke in the winter, but I have already plowed the SV for 3 years and there is no guarantee, I still have not reached the service, since there are many other devices. But I miss the 700th.
jslada
Vei, Yes, I'm also more inclined to her, in the bork they said that this is just an updated U-700.
For me, this button broke in the winter, but I have already plowed the SV for 3 years and there is no guarantee, I still have not reached the service, since there are many other devices.
Only three years? I thought for such money she should work more ...

Only three years? I thought for such money she should work more ...
to be honest, for three years she cooked for me every day from morning to evening, after purchasing it, I refused the stove.
I often had a problem that the pressure seemed to be relieved, the cartoon was already turned off, although it was still hot inside (that is, I cooked, put some on the plates, but some of the dish remained), and when an additive is needed, the lid seemed to stick or suck, like vacuum, to the bowl. The lid could not be opened, then it still opened mysteriously, but it seems to me that at these moments a serious load was on the button.
In any case, I never regret my purchase!
jslada
Vei,
... then the lid seemed to stick or sucked, like a vacuum, to the bowl
Yes, yes, this happened to me too ... Then it seemed to me that if you just close the lid and do not turn the valve, there would be no such effect. Although, maybe it just seemed to me. In general, we are waiting until Friday, they will fix or change, but I can't live without her ...
Yutan
Dear colleagues! Tell me, can I reset the program on the multicooker? I baked charlotte on the "Baking" mode. During baking, my Borechka suddenly spoke up, saying that all the buttons were locked, although no one touched him. After the end of the baking mode, the multicooker went into heating mode and that's it ... Doesn't respond to buttons. It seems that the program just "hangs". I tried to unplug it. After a while, it turned on again, the program is on heating in the baking mode and does not respond to cancellation. That is, you cannot use a multicooker. Although I tried to hit "settings". The multicooker reacts to the settings, changes the heating temperature. And it does not leave the "Baking" mode. What to do? While I am sitting in a dacha 250 km from Moscow. There is no way to come to the service center.
Gibus
Yutan,
I don't have such a multicooker, but I have an idea: try pressing and holding the ENTER button for at least 3 seconds. This enables / disables the child lock mode.
Yutan
Gibus, yes, I have not kept both input and cancellation ... Nothing works. Everything hung tight. Something went wrong. During baking, he began to say that the buttons are locked. I kept canceling. He said that the buttons are unlocked and that's it !!! Does not exit the baking mode. Stands on heating.
