By the way, I didn’t mean necessarily cuckoo ... I’m basically about multicooker and the possibility of their use. You shouldn't have pounced on me like that. I have nothing but a stove. I read forums, draw conclusions and choose. Maybe, of course, in vain I am sharing my thoughts here ... I will no longer.

What are you thinking of moping in our friendly sixth ward? Everything is OK, smart thinking, no one wanted to offend. Exactly, exactly. I know ...
zvezda
Girls!!! Let's postpone the dispute until I purchase and test a multicooker from this company, but for 6 thousand, I'm on the trail. I'll buy it for a week, and then we'll see ...
DN
Star, tell me, if it's not a secret, why do you need a second (or already third?) Slow cooker?
zvezda
The second one is not for me, but for my sister, but I will master it ... I just write everything down for her in time, according to the regimes, and I’ll give it to her with my notes, so I’ll have to cook a lot.
Scarecrow
I cooked barley in CUCKOO (I love it dearly). In chicken broth. I cooked it perfectly, I didn't even expect it. Barley usually turns out to be slimy, and here it is a completely crumbly delicious porridge. One BUT - I read on another forum a girl complained that the cooker was frying in the mode. Yes, it really does fry. Doesn't burn, no. Just a slightly fried crust at the bottom is formed. I have already cooked friable cereals and dairy - so it is. Not fatal, I love fries.

The whole chicken was boiled in the multi-cook mode. 40 minutes. This mode is under pressure, i.e. a conventional pressure cooker. No surprises, everything was boiled well, the meat fell off the bones. All the mats in the kitchen were collected by taking out the chicken. With plastic shovels that from Panasonic, that from the cuckoo only stir the porridge and apply, and then half is poured. And pulling out a whole boiled chicken is an ubiquitous slipper. It was scary to climb with a metal slotted spoon (I pull it out of an ordinary pressure cooker - with two large ladles like tongs) - I'm afraid to scratch the coating, you can't get into the boiling water with your hands. In general, as a result, I nevertheless climbed with a slotted spoon (there was nothing else), took out the chicken, poured broth on the whole cuckoo and the table. She swore very much.

Yesterday I cooked beets. Also in multi-cook mode. Everything is OK, I will not write enthusiasm, because I used to cook beets in a pressure cooker before. I was in no hurry, so I really liked that there was no need to wait. Time is programmed and go to bed. It will turn itself off.

I also thought so, but I refuse to boil silicone under pressure. It's not tasty.
Pakat
It is made of silicone, it is high-temperature, you put this "string bag", with the laid chicken, turkey, meat, in a milty pan, soon, electric cooking, oven, handles up, close and cook, and then
you pull it out by the handles, no problem. Withstands up to 8 kg ...

And it will, an infection, heat up this beet.

But there, as far as I remember, the heating time can be set and changed. I got there while I was poking the buttons, but I didn't change anything. But to what a minimum - I never looked. Today I'll look after work - I'll write.
zvezda
Yes, it goes into heating mode, but I did not change or climb either. It's just that the pressure cooker is not new for Chuchelka, but for me it's chic !!!
Aunt Besya
Well, for the jellied meat or the tongue it is convenient, I got up in the morning, and everything is hot there: take apart the jellied meat, clean the tongue !! But for beets, it's not so ...

Yeah ... This is not good. okay, a multicooker .... there is nothing to demand from a device worth 5 thousand, but the 20-thousandth device somehow does not suit the face (((I put in my mind "minus"

This I mean that everyone --- OWN ... and it seems to me that the point here is not the sum, but the desire.
Not, Star, money plays an important role! And besides, if there is already a multi-picture. When I didn't have one, I was thinking about which one to buy: a cuckoo (really cheap) or a Panasonic one, but then there weren't many cuckoos. I bought it and do not regret it. Then I read the info that in a cheap cuckoo for 3 months the valve is changed 2 times - it means it's good that I didn't buy it. And now buy a second one, but for crazy bucks! It is necessary for the time being to get used to the thought, to want it harder, you see the cuckoo will become cheaper over time.

Aunt Besya !!!! Don't stop wanting !!!
I almost got overwanted .. I will watch this temkoy, but the "acute" period of the disease has passed !!! But about the fact that "it's not about the amount, but about the desire", let me disagree ..
In Temko about "deviceaholics" you, zvezda , once mentioned that you do not work and can afford to buy devices "out of boredom"! Is that so? Your words? Here the dog is buried ... I think it makes sense to remember that for most families of our members of the forum, a purchase worth not only 20 thousand, but also 5 thousand is a serious decision that is pondered, hatched, born in the throes of choice. .. 20 thousand - for many, the amount of family income for a month, or even for two ... And a knuckle for many, do not be offended, it happens to the festive table ..
As for me, I can painlessly buy this pan at any time and without harming the budget, BUT I do not do this precisely because I know the price of each ruble I earn, but comparing all the pros and cons, assessing the availability and sufficiency of the devices I have the needs of my family, while I settled on the decision that buying this device for me is nothing but indulging my irrational desires !!
If my Panasonic suddenly breaks down, then I will replace it with a "cuckoo", it's decided !! Until then, I have a much better use for this amount ..
Uncle Sam
Girls do not quarrel over material things!

And those who consider the CUCKOO pressure cooker too expensive purchase - let them ask about the cost of Thermomixes and others like them.

I divide my life in the kitchen into two periods: "before the Bread Maker and the Multicooker" and "Together with them."
DN
Star, thank you very much for your cheerfulness. It's great when there are people who, having bought something, do not try to find flaws in it, but enjoy life with the newly acquired. It seems to me that it is not the cuckoo that gives you joy, but you, with your talent, charge this device and it works wonders in your hands! And I, like Aunt Basie: "I will watch this Temko, but the" acute "period of the disease has passed !!!"

It seems that there is such a function in my model, now I am puzzled by my husband - he is studying the instructions ... But even if not, I will allow myself to intervene - in reality, against the background of all the advantages, this is a small negative - nothing. We recently purchased it, model Cuckoo CMC-HE1054F NEW, so we are mastering it for now. Tomorrow I will bake a pasta in it, I found a loaf recipe, 🔗 but I will correct it a little - and the paska will be, what do you think - will it work?

Pavlina

With all due respect, everything is extremely subjective. What you might consider a big plus or a negligible minus may be quite the opposite for me. Everyone's needs are different.
Today I again cooked barley in broth in a cuckoo. Excellent result. In my opinion, I was drinking too much, because I poured it according to my own attitude, but this did not ruin the picture.

And yet - in the instructions for making homemade cottage cheese, apparently a mistake. Consider this. It is written to put on PREHEAT twice and it should take 30 minutes. However, when heated, the whey does not separate and it heats up for more than one hour. When I put it on HEAT, then, indeed, it turned off after 15 minutes, the serum was partially separated, turned on the heating again and everything turned out great.

I am planning to buy a cartoon in the near future, but I have not yet decided which Cooku 1054 or Panasonic ...
Advise as users of these devices, which is better to take and why? Does Cooku 1054 justify his money or not?
zvezda
I had a Panass and I have a Cuckoo for 6000, but I want to say right away ... these are completely different devices. Of course, I would advise the Cuckoo, and even more so 1054 cannot be compared with Panass. This is a combined FRYER + OVEN + WOK FRYING PAN + LONG COOKER + STEAMER. Quality .... I can’t even put it close ... well, about the same as Baby (old car) and a full automatic Bosch .... I think she justifies her money !!! I don’t understand how, because I keep a constant record of expenses), but in 2 weeks it took me 50% less to eat, while I don’t limit my family’s food ... Cooking takes at most 40 minutes and one more function , about which they do not write anywhere .... is that it can be used as a frying pan. The cook itself uses an induction heater, that is, it heats up faster and healthier. If there is a possibility, it is better 1054. And what is she outwardly .... and also talks .... if you want, it is better to look and touch with your own hands and then make a choice.
I speak in a whisper ..... I have another Kuku, but already the simplest model, this is, in principle, an analogue of Panassa, but only accelerated and other material at the saucepan ... Hairpin !! do not swear, this toy is for my sister, I just master it and then write down the recipes for her in a simplified form ... I will also post here my experiments on its development ... only after the holidays I will leave a little ...
zvezda
Oh ... I did not write correctly .... WAS Panass, and now there is Cuckoo 1054 and 0821 !!!

Many thanks to zvezda for your answer.
If you get the chance, please answer me some more technical questions regarding Cooku 1054.
Is it possible to set the cooking timer in Kuku 1054 every minute instead of 10, 20, 30 and so on?
Is the steam plate in Cooku 1054 as convenient as the steam basket in Panasonic?
Is it possible with the steam plate in 1054 to cook rice at the bottom of the pan and steam at the top, for example, chicken legs?
Why do they offer to buy a bowl made of medical steel without dusting? What is it for?
How durable is the non-stick marble coating? Is it possible to use metal spoons in such a pan and not just plastic? What is the wall thickness of a 5-layer pot and how much does it weigh?
Is it possible to manually set the temperature range from 50 to 120 degrees during cooking?
zvezda
So ... let's point by point ...
1. Time is set ON THE MINUTE !!!
2. The insert is very convenient for me personally, there is not a basket, but an insert.
3. About the simultaneous cooking .. I will not say, I have not tried
4. The bowl is already there! She's just SUPER .... I, for example, wipe her after one dish boom. towel ... and cook on.
5.I use a wooden spoon, as it never entered my head with an iron one, but the coating is very durable, it won't peel off for sure!
5. The saucepan is not heavy and also has non-heating handles !!
The temperature is also set at 1 degree. (Not on all programs, but on those where it is needed)

I went broke once and that's it ... I bought myself such a slow cooker:
and I don’t regret my money spent, before there was a bread maker, a double boiler, but it replaces all this, only unlike a bread maker in this slow cooker you can also bake all sorts of desserts.
jevgenij
As for the steam plate, I ask later that in multi-cookers like Panasonic, the steam basket is hung on top, and other products can be put under the basket below. Can this be done the same with the steam plate in 1054? If possible, please take a picture of the steam plate and how it is inserted into the pot.

almost all modern bread makers have a * jam * program, and you can bake not only bread, but also pies and muffins with soda. At the same time, she also kneads the dough. In all rice cookers, even the cheapest ones, you can cook whatever your heart desires, and desserts and not desserts, I even made candied fruits from watermelon peels. Everything turns out great

We have a Clatronic rice cooker, it is very similar to the Panasonic cartoon only without the electronics. In our rice cooker, we cook two dishes at the same time and do not experience any problems, rice cooked together with chicken or steamed cutlets turns out to be the same in quality and taste as cooked separately. It's just very convenient to cook simultaneously potatoes, or rice or buckwheat and at the same time in the steam basket something meat (or vegetables) for what is being prepared under it.
Can this be done the same with the steam plate in 1054?
I'm asking this because I'm planning to buy a more functional cartoon.
Sowa
Hello))) The third day I can’t tear myself away from your topic. I have only an oven and pans with pots in my kitchen, so for me the choice of such a small miracle is sooo complicated. Can someone tell me how two models of a cuckoo differ
Actually the most expensive 1054F and this one CRP-A1010F. I compared the recipes from here 🔗, for example, beef stroganoff - the time is the same, only the name of the modes is different. 1054 have more porridge recipes (apparently, there are more opportunities for different options?). Now, if you do not take the function of a bread machine (I make baked goods in the oven) - is there a difference?
I need an assistant for cooking pilaf, meat dishes (especially beef, I'm not friends with this product), vinaigrette, porridge.
I can't figure out how to ask Help mi more precisely ...
zvezda
Sowa Your question is clear. I don’t have 1010 (I’m just afraid with the third Cuckoo and they’ll be kicked out of the house), but I’ll look in more detail and write to you in the evening.
Sowa
Oh, girls, I got confused and confused my question. Of course, the most expensive is 1010 FI /
Once again, then I will formulate (it just seems to me that it is easier for you who already use it to understand whether the functions are the same or not)

Cuckoo CRP - HD 1010 FI GOLD - 33 you
unique 9-layer bowl
the mode is not "pressure cooker", but "cook / turbo" Does it matter?
And what is so unusual about it, for such a price?
Cuckoo CMC-HE1054F NEW - almost 20 you
and
Cuckoo CRP-A1010F - 13.5 you

Here I looked at the recipes in them - it seemed like the same time, but in 1054 - the "pressure cooker" mode, and in 1010 - "cooking / turbo" (then it becomes unclear how the 1010 differs from the cheapest CR-0821FI for 6 ths, in which also "cook / turbo")
Are pressure cooker and cook / turbo modes different?

It turns out that 1054 is the most successful in terms of functions, although I don't need a bread maker in it.
zvezda
Well, I figured it out more or less ... in the one that for 13 there is no toasting (well, I did not find it) and there is no oven ... but in general the differences are not very big, Turbo is a pressure cooker, but first you need to set the function on the machine itself ... Yes ... and 1010 does not say ... but my chatter and cuckoo, that is, she says what to do when and where to press, and also reports errors. I have not yet fully mastered the OVEN function, but I think that it is not only suitable for baking ... I would still take 1054, well, I like it better ... but the 1010 has all the functions that will satisfy you !!
jevgenij
zvezda could you measure the inner diameter of the Cooku 1054 pan and check on your multicooker if you can use a steam basket from Panasonic (by check, I mean: will it fit and hang like in Panasonic)?
zvezda
There is nothing to hang on ... it is put inside !!!
jevgenij
It is a pity, of course, that it is impossible to cook in a saucepan and steamed at the same time ... After all, this is ideal when cooking second courses.
zvezda
I didn’t say it’s impossible !!! I just haven't tried it !!! I will definitely try, though I can't say exactly when, but in the near future !!! Now I made millet porridge with pumpkin !!!! Delicious ... I'm sitting at half past four ...
Sowa
zvezda
I would still take 1054, well, I like it more ...
Yes, I also like 1054 outwardly better .... Does the Toasting mode correspond to any other? It seems like rice is fried in a Panasonic on the mode
