Hostess girls!
And please tell me, is it convenient to make kefir and cottage cheese in addition to yogurt in this slow cooker?
My wife and I got together to buy a yogurt maker, but stumbled upon this cartoon and are very determined to enroll in the ranks of the 60s.
Well, can we have some tips for beginners, so as not to get bumps during the first use?

I have a temperature of 41.5 degrees on yogurt (measured). You need to know at what temperature kefir and cottage cheese are prepared. There is a plate with the cooking temperature in the instructions for the leaven.
In general, it is worth buying MV

Usually kefir is made at 30 degrees, and at 40 degrees.

girls, good afternoon!
accept the new owner of the miracle saucepan
I decided for a long time whether I need such a thing, read the reviews, chose a model and seemed to have decided, especially since we have a little daughter (1.4 years old). I told my husband, threw off a reference for him to work, and then this morning a surprise awaited my daughters and me - dad went and brought us Dusya (as I called her)
I ran straight to the store for a silicone spatula / spoon / ladle))))) walked with the kids, put her to bed and dance around the box - I also want to disassemble everything, wash and start testing))))
(sorry that there is so much text at once, just very happy about the new thing)

and immediately a question, if possible - of course, after unpacking everything, I'll wash it, and then it will be necessary to set the steam mode and "rinse" the saucepan with empty water and lemon? tell me how much water to pour?

Thank you
* Anyuta *
pour about 1/2 of the saucepan .. maybe a little less ... you can immediately warm water from the tap - it will boil faster
July-Lu
I report on the cheesecake: in general, it turned out to be very tasty, BUT when I removed it from the saucepan I crippled, so I do not attach a photo. Next time I will try the manual oven for a longer time.

But the liver pie was a success:

Do not cook kefir at 40 C. I would even say - not every yogurt maker will be able to cook it, except that a yoghurt maker + a thermostat))

Our mother makes excellent kefir for the baby on the battery from sourdough, albeit in small portions.
Probably it would be too much to be in the cartoon, and even for such a price there were opportunities for all our whims)

Today I ordered a multicooker on dexline for 887 UAH with a bank commission. We can't wait any longer!

devuli, tell me, please, now I will be the first time for a charlotte oven in a cartoon - leave the valve open or closed?
thank you

The valve must always be closed during cooking.

That's right! And then suddenly the DEX will really disappear, something will rise in price.
Have you tried to make kefir in a thermos?

So that's it)) on the battery and now you can do it. Or in a thermos.
And in slow cookers and yogurt makers it is very hot for this))
irysska
Quote: Humgat

But as? Boom, thank you for the recipe!
Yes, very simple: they scalded the thermos with boiling water, cooled it down, then poured milk with the Kefir starter culture (milk temperature 30C) into it and closed it with a lid. The cooking time is indicated on the sachet with the sourdough, but usually 10-11 hours if from the powder sourdough.
You just need a thermos to keep the temperature well.

Better yet - buy a yogurt maker and a thermostat for it - then there will be no problems with any fermented milk product.
But that's another topic

Anya, take a look at the PM, I dropped your number there on a saucepan.

And today I called our warehouses ... Deksika was looking for! The daughter asked for her friend.
I call one ... they say call back in 15 minutes. now they just brought ... unloading. Tse for 949gr.
I'm calling another warehouse ... come, there is one in stock. Price 870gr. In short ... the girl ordered already ... her baby was recently born ... just

And I wanted to buy Dex in August for a gift, but now I don't know if they will be or the price will be "space". Do not buy now, after all, 4 months ahead.

baked charlotte with apples - I was very worried whether it would rise or not, would it stick
with shaking hands turned off the "Baking" when there were 10 minutes left until the end of the declared hour))))) and put it on 20 for heating
everything went with a bang high, ruddy beauty)))
in the morning we'll taste it (eh, would rather)

Happy start! Next time, if you want to bake for less than an hour, for example, 50 minutes, then you can immediately set this baking time and then at the end of the Baking 50 minutes mode, the multicooker would switch to Heating itself. There, in the instruction booklet, there is a plate for all modes. There, about the temperature on each, and about the possible time frames that can be set for each mode.

I myself did not know how much to put the charlotte on))))
so I decided to do it for the first time on autotuning, but then the thought that there would be overkill began to gnaw at me and I went to turn it off with a trembling hand
and I sort of figured it out by changing the time - in the afternoon I cooked potatoes and frozen string beans for my daughter, I decided to put it on for 25 minutes, but after 20 I also turned it off))))))))

By the way, I didn't immediately figure out what is Heating, but Warming up. They are different things and different buttons. On Heating, the temperature is 70-77 degrees, and on Heating 85-100.

Or can you cook something on it too?

No, in the microwave there is a microwave heating, fast, but here the pan is just heating up. Very comfortably. If you have eaten, and someone is late, and the food in the saucepan is already cold. press Warm-up and after five minutes - hot. But they cook on it. Omelettes, I know, are gorgeous. I haven't tried it yet.

Reheating already prepared dishes on the "heating" cannot be compared to a microwave oven !! Doesn't dry out, it looks like it's just cooked! I love to warm up in the cartoon, albeit a little longer in time, but the result is much better in comparison with micra!
Mona1
And I also partially cook semolina porridge on the Warming Up.

First I put it in the bread maker (I have ld with the program yogurt), after standing in it for 8 hours, nothing thickened, I poured into glasses and put it in refrigerator, and today I sit and bastard. Cook lemon chowder according to the recipe azaza :
Quote: azaza

The recipe is very complicated. Write down:
half a liter of water (a liter is possible - depending on how much stew you want to get)
lemon ass (you can have two - depending on how your soul desires).
Steam program, five minutes is enough.
Use strictly according to the doctor's prescription for new multicooker to get rid of the specific smell of new technology.

I'm surprised ... when I was waiting for the multicooker, I'm not only on the forum ... I scrolled the entire Internet in search of some information.
After all, how to prepare a cartoon for work is explained here literally every 5-10 pages. In my opinion, yesterday or the day before yesterday they wrote again ... wash or wipe well, pour water into a saucepan, cut off a slice of lemon and turn on the steam program. It's not cold now, you can't stand it for a couple of hours in the warmth.
And you can cook anything ... where to start, this is to your taste and desire))) soup, pilaf, potatoes, charlotte. Everything will turn out well!

Thanks to everyone who responded. My story is pitiful: I wanted to buy a slow cooker for my beloved, but the woman's desire is the Law. I looked at the Panasonik 181. But the proletariat of Thailand went on strike in response to the inhuman conditions of its life (version of the online store), and the unfortunate Ukrainians were left without this miracle technology. And I really wanted a multicooker.I drew attention to a large number of positive reviews on Dex DMC-60, I thought that so many users could not be mistaken and chose this model. The outlet manager said the multicooker would be there in 2 hours. I ran a little through the forum, and then decided to turn to people in the know. I ask one more piece of advice: what to cook in the multicooker for the first time?
Start with the simplest. For example, buckwheat for a side dish. Pour 2 multi-glasses of cereal + 5 multi-glasses of water into the bowl (I pour it cold, but you can warm it) + salt and pieces of butter. I immediately throw in the butter. Close the lid and set the Buckwheat mode. There, the time is not set by you, when it rubs about the end, then you can not open the lid at once, but let it stand for half an hour on the Heating (it will switch to Heating at the end).
If it's quite simple, then you can first fry the chicken pieces with onions and carrots on the Fry. Then add everything that is higher, only a little less water can be (and here you need to pour boiling water - the bowl is hot) - in the onion and the carrot there is moisture + spices and again on Buckwheat.

This amount of cereal is enough for 3-4 adult servings.
annnushka27
And I also stopped using rock salt, there are pebbles.

Yes, lately there are a lot of newcomers, they do not always have time to read, and maybe even a desire, so I beg you - throw away the spoon and spatula that comes with the kit if possible. They will ruin your cup. We need to buy silicone spoons, scoops, ladles.
Here is, a week ago I ordered:

Turn the page below:
Article 1039 Silicone spoon
1042 Ladle
These are very necessary things, everything is already with them.
Less necessary, but may come in handy:
1041 Skimmer
1038 Tongs
1043 Silicone whisk

Yes, if you think you can use nylon, you shouldn't think so. They are tough, the silicone is soft, the bowl will be better preserved.
Tanya, and I have been using such a spatula, bought on the market for 2.5 years, the price of the issue is UAH 20.
