Ingredients

Dry fast-acting yeast 1 tsp
Wheat flour 400 grams.
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.
Water 260 ml.

Cooking method

  • The simplest white bread.
  • The beginning of all beginnings and the basis of all foundations.
  • All ingredients are easy to measure and do not contain particularly expensive products. On this bread, you can test the bread maker and experiment with the dough.
  • Recipe from the instructions for the Panasonic SD-2501.
  • 1. To prepare this bread, put dry yeast on the bottom of the mold. In this case, we used Dr. Oetker yeast. One packet contains 7 grams of dry yeast and is designed for 500 grams of flour. You don't have to measure anything and empty the bag completely.
  • 2. Wheat flour is poured on top.
  • 3. Then add salt and sugar.
  • 4. 260 ml is filled in. water.
  • 5. Since the oil reduces the fermentation activity of the yeast, it is added last. As a result, sunflower oil will float on the surface of the water and will not come into contact with either yeast or flour.
  • 6. Set the size "M" on the bread maker.
  • 7. Set the crust color on the bread maker. In this case, a program for a dark crust was installed.
  • 8. Next, you need to run 1 program called "Basic Bread".

In any case, I advise you to bake a simple wheat one on the BASIC four hour program. "Quick" bread does not go through all the necessary biochemical and biophysical changes. While the crust was crispy, it was easy to chew, but when it left, it became rubbery, it is difficult to chew a crust of bread ... But this is not so important ... I would like the bread to be more substantiated, if I may put it that way ... Maybe not so raised and tall, but denser and more satisfying ...
Is this possible with 1 program of regular white bread? Or does this require a different flour (not white) and a different program ?!

This is 400 grams of flour for this oven! If it is less, then the kolobok will not turn out normal, the small kolobok will dangle along the bottom of the large bucket, and the bread will settle down crookedly.
