Mint ice cream

Category: Dairy and egg dishes

Ingredients

FOR SYRUP
Sugar 650 g
Mint leaves, dried 50 g
Water 500 g
ICE CREAM
PLOMBER from ANASTASIA

Cooking method

  • I wanted to make mint ice cream for a long time, but there was no syrup. I decided to cook it myself. Dried mint leaves are poured with boiling water and insisted for 40-50 minutes in a lidded container, then filtered. Granulated sugar is dissolved in the prepared mint infusion and, stirring continuously, boiled at low boil for 10-15 minutes and cooled.
  • Taste like mint caramel.
  • I took the ice cream from Anastasia as a basis for the ice cream, but instead of powdered sugar I used syrup. The result is a delicate ice cream with a subtle mint aroma. The color is not green, of course, beige. I'm happy.
  • Another long coveted creme brulee: whipped 20% cream with a can of boiled condensed milk. The same taste

JaneChin1,
Oh, how you wrote it in time - I have a bunch of fresh ones - I will have to try I went to look for an ice cream from Anastasia And how much syrup should I put in ice cream instead of powder?
JaneChin1
I am very ashamed, but I incorrectly indicated the amount of syrup, not 4, but 6 spoons I put! That is, I replaced the powder in the recipe with the same amount of syrup.
