All the good time of the day. allow your five cents to be inserted into the dryer selection. My subjective opinion may help those who, like me, are sure that the more expensive the better. I have a miracle dryer, she's probably already 7-8 years old, they dried only mushrooms in the prince, and dried mountain ash in very large quantities for poultry bread. After reading about drying fruits and vegetables, I realized that I can’t live without it, and for this I naturally need a cool dryer, after some reflections, I ordered a summer resident-4, on the road a tranny. lost her company. while the essence of the matter is the season is going on, I wrote out another dryer Rawmid Dream Vitamin Dehydrator. and waited until the money for the lost dryer was returned to me. In general, a second dryer came to me and was found lost. Now I have three dryers and have something to compare with. I can't say that expensive dryers are better than my cheap one in which even the temperature is not regulated. I like the summer resident for his silence, the cat and the kitten do not leave her, the turtle will not sink too, creeps to her. in general, it can easily be kept in the room as a heater. Rawmid Dream dries and dries no better than the other two dryers, the fan is naturally audible.

a simple tray has single walls, there is also a hole in the middle, but it does not play any role on simple trays, all the same, the middle is blown less

this is the most convenient tray, the bottom is not stripes, but perforation, and the net is almost unnecessary in it, and the dumplings in it are frozen, and it is convenient to dry noodles

in the Miracle there is a thermostat, I really dry at max, and the Rotor Diva is an identical dryer.

yes there is a thermostat, it just doesn't work for me. I agree that they work from wind and heating (although a summer resident without wind only infrared heating), but you really want a miracle, and it seems that for more money we will get something

Tell me, has anyone had any experience with drying with the LEQUIP IR D5?
We recently bought a dryer.
There is no experience with other models, so I cannot compare. But I advise you to read a very detailed review: www*ixbt*com / home / lequip-ir-d5.shtml (instead of * dot)
My first impression is very positive! But I think that this option is only suitable for a family without a summer cottage, since it cannot process a large volume and there is no possibility of its expansion. Another disadvantage - it does not have pallets for marshmallows. We ordered silicone mats with bumpers on Aliexpress. We will be able to test it in about a month.

Admin, Tanya, , read this whole topic and some others on the choice of dryers (looking after) .. I bow to you - for your patience !!

my friend bought such a dryer - it turned out that it works both with a blower and without a fan - you can ferment products, proof the dough - what a beauty. Well, stainless steel trays.steel, self-adjusting modes, shade or sun drying modes, mmm ... blooper

If anyone is interested, I will write a lot.
A couple of years ago, my wife and I decided that we needed to buy a dryer and dry everything. Having run through the market offers, we stopped at Veterka. It doesn't cost much for the money and it seems to have decent capacity. Five transparent trays and a 500 W heater. All last season they dried her. Liked. Dried apples, pears, dill, parsley, few mushrooms. We realized that this was a good thing, but I wanted to make marshmallows. Alas, this dryer is not designed for that. You can dry only one tray at a time. Or, after some modifications, a maximum of two trays. We paid attention to the "Walter 1000 Lux" (15 trays) and bought it by winter. This dryer has a slightly different principle of operation. Warm air blows each of the installed trays directly separately. This achieves a more even drying of up to 15 pallets installed at a time. True marshmallow is dried only in 10 pallets. No longer desirable, a large variation in drying time is obtained. Veterok was successfully presented to our daughters for use in the hope that this "tower" will now be enough for us.
This season there was a specific emphasis on drying. A lot of local mushrooms, apples and pears, rose hips, own and meadow strawberries (about 35 liters), almost all went into marshmallow. Turnip onions from 13 kilograms have turned into three liters of volume. There are a lot of southern tomatoes and bell peppers from the wholesaler practically for next to nothing ... And Volter's productivity for such requests was not enough. I had to temporarily squeeze Veterok from my daughter. And what was our surprise when we compared these adjacent two dryers, as they say, all other things being equal. The breeze with large volumes of bookmarks coped in fewer hours than Walter. Without thinking for a long time, we broke through the sales and bought ourselves another Veterok, though version 2. The set includes six pallets of white plastic and a 600 W heater.
The experience of operating these dryers has shown that each of them is indispensable for specific tasks. After all, the principle of their work is different. In Veterka, the heated air is drawn from the bottom up and out. Accordingly, the lower pan receives a lot of heat, while the upper ones are not "sweet" at first. All moisture from the lower ones will rise to the top, significantly cooling the air flow, and thus not very conducive to the drying process of the upper rows. After some time we have to swap the lower pallets with the upper ones. It's not stressful at all, but nonetheless.
Walter has of course, of course, the drying of the pastille and the better uniformity of drying. The disadvantage is the smaller capacity of the trays with large dimensions and a smaller volume of air pumped through the trays per unit of time than Veterok. And, of course, its price is almost four times higher ... In terms of energy consumption per unit of product weight, there was no big difference between these dryers. But, most likely, Walter is a little more voracious in this regard.
Conclusion. If the preparation of marshmallow is not necessary, then for everything else, "Veterok-2" is quite suitable. I see no point in wasting money unnecessarily. And if they do exist and there is also a need for large volumes of drying, then it is best to have both such dryers.
We have no regrets and are very satisfied. The result is an almost full cabinet of three-liter cans (more than forty pieces) of finished products under vacuum lids.

I ordered the Orson round dryer, and now something is worried: there is not a single review or feedback on the Internet, it feels like no one is buying them.
I looked at the design better, and now I think - how is the motor protected from moisture, if it suddenly drops from some fruit?
And one more thing: it seems to have no protection against overheating - does this mean that you can turn it on only when you are at home and are not sleeping? Or do the craftsmen install the thermal sensor themselves?
Irgata
Quote: Sibelis
it seems to have no protection against overheating
Natasha, all dryers work like an iron - on / off, and keep the set temperature. And the motors of all dryers are not with an open shade and a fan.

Normal dryer, not expensive, simple design. Moreover, there is a timer, it seems. The trays are neither low nor perforated.
Sibelis
Irsha, that's right, the timer is there and the trays are high. But Admin wrote that you always need to choose with a thermal sensor ... Well, okay, I have already ordered and paid for, so I will, therefore, negotiate with this drying :)
Tell me, is there a very strong smell of products when you work? Is it comfortable to coexist with her indoors? Or only in the summer, when everything is wide open?
Admin
Quote: Sibelis
But Admin wrote that you always need to choose with a thermal sensor ...

What temperature sensor? Where did I write this?

In my dryer, it is switched on automatically, when plugged into the network. There is a temperature switch, 3 modes. And I control the time myself.

Each vegetable-fruit has its own smell, especially onions have a pungent smell.

Choosing an electric dryer - recommendations, what to look for when buying

11. Security - Thermal fuse, double insulation
Be sure to be curious about what will happen if the fan suddenly fails.
Attention: for many models, the heating element is not switched off! The minimum is the dryer simply melts, the maximum is fire. The instructions say: "the device requires constant monitoring." Or: Place the appliance only on a fireproof surface to avoid fire.
Admin
These are recommendations from the IZIDRI website. Good recommendations

And about what has been said, you need to ask questions directly on the Orson website, their managers.

I have a second dryer Orson square, worked and plowed all summer without problems, here she has built-in tips that are displayed on the display about overheating or other errors - it helps a lot
And this dryer has a temperature regulator up to 70 * C, a time regulator up to 40 hours, and even a dust filter, a high-quality fan and a good cleaning system for the dryer (I showed the photo).

There are two topics on the forum on the Orson dryer - ask
Sibelis
Admin, yes, I already regretted that I did not take the square one. It's too late, I'll get used to this one.
Irgata
Quote: Sibelis

Sibelis, so in any electric dryer it is, he also maintains the set temperature.
You have a solid, not expensive dryer, a good choice.
Quote: Sibelis
Yes, I already regretted that I did not take the square one.
You shouldn't regret, you didn't choose badly

As for smells - cabbage at first smells, onions too, but I like the bright onion aroma, tomatoes - garden tomatoes, not store-bought - smell sweet. But when the dryer is running, an influx of fresh air is needed - it is corny hot, it works for more than one hour.
Sibelis
Irsha, Thank you. Hope to be friends with her.
Under the thermal sensor I meant a fuse that turns off when overheated.
It will be necessary to somehow contrive to make trays for marshmallows, or buy from another dryer, from which diameter it will fit. Here 34 cm like.
Mrs. Addams
Girls boys, hello, hello!
I have wanted to buy a dryer for a long time, but since it is not an essential item for me, I put off this purchase all the time.
And now there is such an opportunity, and there are discounts in Auchan. I looked at this:
"Martha MT 1949
🔗
Power 250 W, Electronic temperature control from 35 to 70 ° C, Time setting up to 72 hours, LED display, Number of removable sections 5, adjustable section height. "
I liked the dryer with its rectangular shape - it seems to me more compact, since there is nowhere especially to store it. Needed for a small amount of food - make some fruit chips, dry some vegetables in the fall (although looking at the table of contents of what can be cooked in the dryer, my eyes ran up).
I began to trust the Marta brand after buying a multicooker. Reviews on the Internet about this dryer are only positive. What do you think is the right model?

Ilmirushka
Mrs. Addams, Arina, I think that if you take it, then immediately more, because the appetite comes with eating. Not enough, however, it will be in volume, and most importantly - in power. I am a novice dryer-procurer, but I have already figured out with sun-dried tomatoes, 1.5 kg take exactly 3 pallets, and in finished form it turns out ... a jar of 500 grams. So to figure out whether it is worth taking a small one, if the output of finished products is so small. Well, more powerful is still better. Didn't you look at Gravola the closet? Look, how lovely, but this one is bigger, but there is the same one for 6 pallets.

I would also recommend Travola-wardrobe. Because here you can prepare all sorts of meat delicacies by taking out several pallets. This cannot be done in a conventional dryer. I broke the grate in Isidra to increase the height of the pallet. And in Travola everything is already provided.

the price is understandable, although you just need to follow the discounts, Ozone can do this ... the last time, when I and Ilmira bought a big one, it was cheaper than a small one .. as it happens (I was counted 4240r, but I arranged the delivery there by courier, and when paying, I wrote off Spasibki, respectively, the amount was even less) ... so this is for the price .... and what does the size mean not happy ??? ... strange - big yes, I agree, but the small one is very wonderful in size,

because firstly, noisy, if it was drying, then only during the harvest season and put it on the balcony, you need to constantly run to swap pallets, etc., and I use Grasswood at any time, meat, etc. ... her work does not bother her, in principle, I don't even notice that it is turned on, if the meat is thick, then the extra pallets are removed without problems, while the space does not take as much as it would take from Veterok
