That is, if the fish is bought, then it needs to be cooked at home, and no longer freeze.
Unfortunately, few of us know about this.

Other small fish such as sea bass, flounder, cod ... and some others come fresh, not frozen - the term of sale of such fish is several days. You always need to ask the seller when the fish arrived, where it came from, and the time of sale. A shipment of fish always comes with an accompanying label, everything is written there. At my request, they always read the label and give the dates.

But, you need to look at the fish cuts, if they are windy, dark dirty in color, crumpled, and so on ... that is, there is a possibility that the sellers themselves took fish from their refrigerators (on the shelves in packaging) and defrost it and laid it out for sale. Such fish is also visible - I never buy it, as a rule, it is whole cod, perch, and flounder is also found.
