for agitators, the main issue is the shape of the pin inside buckets. I looked at 2501, "by eye" there the form is the same as in 254-257.
the shoulder blades are exactly the same and their attachment point is the same, I was talking about the "leg" on the bucket itself, the bucket in 257 HP is not inserted.

In 2500 there is no dispenser and there is no "Rye" mode, everything else is the same as in 2501, but it costs almost 2 thousand less.

Hello everybody! I'm a newbie. Thanks to this topic, I was able to decide on the choice of HP and it seems I was not mistaken. Thank you all very much! I bought 2502. Many people care about the yeast dispenser. I cooked bread with pressed yeast and dry through a dispenser. The noise of the dispenser does not irritate at all with its clicking, and even a sleeping child did not wake up from this. Bread is obtained with those and those yeasts. But I'm going to bake mainly on pressed ones, so the dispenser will work idle (on this matter I hesitated for a long time with the choice of HP) But still I really like the design and I chose this particular model.
So if there is free money, then I recommend this model.

Tried it - a stirrer from 255 to 2501 works great

I took 257 for a couple of months to understand whether I needed hp, I needed it, went and bought an SD-ZB2502, and then it started. HP does not work on the rye bread program, it has been in contact with those for a month. support, they returned the money with the wording - the bread maker works, but not with Russian-made products. A couple of days ago they brought 2501, tomorrow I will test, otherwise everyone somehow didn’t get it

wow, I almost bought the 257th model - it ran out from the supplier and therefore in the online store through which I wanted to buy it.
now looking for SD-ZB2502, will it be sold in Russia at all?
but SD-2501 begin to officially ship with 24.07 at a price of ~ 8k, ordering from abroad is not profitable, I have already calculated the cost with delivery from the UK - it turns out the same way.
I bought a week ago, I'm very happy and I don't regret it at all. I didn't even look for other options. But I use recipes from different models of the Panasonic.

Good day! I'm thinking of joining the ranks of bakers :-) I stopped the choice at 2501 HP.
I have questions for the happy owners.

1) Place in the kitchen. As I understand it, it is tall, especially with the lid open (somewhere I met that 65 cm). Under the wall cabinets, of course, a closed one will stand (56 cm for me). And when you need to load, push it? And if you peep behind the kolobok, can you just open it in place or push it out completely to the edge of the table again? THANK YOU!

2) Somewhere I came across information that HP can be combined with a yogurt maker. Apparently there is a program - a thermostat. There is no such thing officially in Panasonic, right? And you can, say, put a couple of glasses with sourdough in a bucket and use some (what?) Program to hold it in a thermostat until it ferments? Or is it like hammering nails with a laptop, silly? THANKS AGAIN!

I put HB in the closet, and when I bake, I put it on the table (we bake more often at night).

I have a question for those who use the "baking" mode in HP. the instructions recommend covering the bucket with baking paper. but given the shape of the bucket, I can't do it properly and neatly. Is it possible to do without paper or is it not worth risking the coating of the bucket?
tat-63
paper is needed when the dough for the cake (it is liquid), if there is nothing for ordinary baking

Good day everyone. Help with choosing a gift.
Bread maker Panas 257 or 2501? Since the price is the same and the functions are the same, I tend to lean more towards the new model, i.e. 2501 ... But I want to hear the advice of the pros.
(I use 254 myself - I am satisfied but I do not have enough dispenser)
Thank you))
tat-63
take a new model!
almaxiua
Thank you
and what are its advantages?
if not difficult ...
Rina
Larger dispenser volume. Perhaps a different layout format will be more convenient for you (the front is narrower than the profile, that is, the side walls of the bread machine are longer than the front / back).

and one more thing - models 254/255/256/257 have ceased to be produced (according to unverified intelligence data).
almaxiua
we still offer in full 257
write that 2501 has a little confused menu
almaxiua
although, judging by the reviews, the bread turns out
so you need to take a new one
tat-63
not something that is not confused, a little differently, but everything is simple, in the new program they go under the number, and in the old one there is an inscription
tat-63
in the new coating improved black color
almaxiua
Thank you

Yesterday I bought a Panasonic 2501. I have already baked 3 rolls. The first one did not work out at all - the yeast was old and did not weigh the flour - I just threw it away. I baked the second one yesterday at 12 at night - by morning there was only a piece of crumb left. The husband said - bakes so that there are only crusts!
Today I baked French bread for 400 g of flour - very tasty - in an hour it was gone - only crumbs remained!
Right now, I'll put it on for the night with a timer for the morning - so that the children have fresh bread by 8 in the morning.
Until I learned how to take pictures - as I learn - I will definitely put them here. He looked very appetizing.
The bread maker is excellent - both price and quality.
I put it on the stove first. But since I can't use the stove for a long time, I put it under the table in the bedroom. There she does not bother anyone. And why look at her then? Bake and bake for himself. She does everything herself. You took out the current bucket - on the table you poured everything into the bucket and that's it. The oven will beep when the bread is ready.

They lie. You open the top cover and a list of programs looks right at you. On the scoreboard - the same as on 2500: on the left is the size, on the right what kind of crust do you want, in the center is a timer and on top is an indicator of the running process. Controlled by 4 buttons. It is not difficult at all.
By the way, you can define her refuge on the windowsill)))
And be sure to order your kitchen scales right away. They are essential.

Of course, the main thing is that the bread is good in it. I probably want a lot, on the floor is not an option for me at all, my two kids are afraid they will quickly ditch her

I wonder if manufacturers don't care about ergonomics? The issue of xn placement is clearly not finalized by them, in my opinion.
foksana
ABOUT! A place for hp on the windowsill might fit, ... damn it, 15 cm wide mine.
Is that really how to drag her all over the kitchen? 8 kg? I am sad...
Rina
talk to the craftsmen (or husband) about the possibility of building up the windowsill. Or make a sliding part of the tabletop.

I had a Panasonic standing under a wall cabinet for quite a long time. At first I thought that I would close the stove when it was not in use, but then I safely left it in that place. The cabinet is smaller in depth than the countertop, so the HP, placed sideways, stood at the very edge of the countertop, but allowed the lid to be opened. If I again have a question about how to put the HP in the same place, I will not regret the cabinet, I will cut off the lower part of it - normal bread is more important to me than a small shelf for spices.

Yeah ... with babies - wherever they put it away - they will still crawl in. It's hot after making the bread - so be careful.
The bread turns out to be excellent (it is necessary to strictly weigh everything on the scales) - while I tried 3 types - the usual one for 2 hours, the usual one for 4 hours and the French one for 6 hours.
My husband saw bread - a traffic light - now, like a child, he shakes the traffic light off me!

I have it under the hinged shelves, and when I fall asleep and watch the kolobok, I push it out, otherwise the lid will not open (this is 257 HP)
and the new one is on the table by the window, so I don't move it. On the floor, I think it's still not hygienic, but this is my IMHO.

There are different breads - curls are baked - some with tomato paste, some with something else - ordinary bread, but multi-colored - and there is also a traffic light - painted with a green apple, lemon and probably beets?

I am thinking of buying (for the first time in my life) HP (Panasonic 2501), but it LIKELY does not have the "No-yeast bread" program in it. And I need HP (mainly) for leavened rye (you can do something else, the main thing is that there are no harmful yeast + eggs, butter and dairy products (I'm a vegetarian)).
I do not understand, this HP is not intended for this or what? I would not like to use any other program APPROXIMATELY LIKE the program "Yeast-free bread", I would like to EXACT 100% COMPLIANCE with the recipe for making yeast-free bread. The option that it is necessary to suspend the execution of one program and something does not suit shamanism; you need to fall asleep the ingredients, press the button and automatically. mode got the perfect result.Otherwise, you will have to take Kenwood 450 (it says "yeast-free mode")
Dear owners, please educate the ignoramus.

Addition: By "harmful yeast" I mean "baker's yeast" (both dry and pressed). I want to make with leaven (+ if possible without them, then without them too). Wild yeast suits me, but man-bred ones do not (According to GOST, the following main and auxiliary raw materials are used to produce yeast:
- technical sulfuric acid according to GOST 2148 or battery acid according to GOST 667
- chloric lime according to GOST 1962
- liquid detergent "progress"
- technical formalin according to GOST 1625
- three types of technical hydrochloric acid.
- ammonia water technical;
- sulfuric acid, technical or battery;
- microfertilizer for agriculture in the southern regions of the USSR;
- technical oleic acid;
- purified ammonium sulfate;
... and a long list of toxic chemicals).
Do not offer an oven.

Looked in the recipe book for 2501 - there is no yeast-free dough.
Only sweet cupcakes, yeast-free, sweet pastries.
Maybe they just did not indicate it in the recipe book - perhaps you can try if you bother with it a lot?
But the oven bakes superbly - while enjoying the usual bread and French - everything turns out SUPER.
I never thought that there is nothing tastier than the crust of hot OWN bread without chemicals and additives.

Dear owners, please educate the ignoramus.
So that there is no "harmful yeast", you simply do not put them (yeast) in the HP, but use the leaven in any mode (well, of course, except for the cake). And correctly answered you sazalexterthat wild yeast is present everywhere. Therefore, take the oven with the "rye bread" mode and use sourdough instead of yeast, and you will be HAPPINESS.
Rina
Castaneda, there is a confusion of concepts. There are a few simple things to understand.

Any starter culture itself is a complex of "wild" yeast fungi and lactic acid bacteria. If you want to completely avoid those very "harmful" yeasts in general, then you will not have to eat fruits, but use unleavened dough as bread - that is, matzo.

Any programs that are called "yeast-free" are dough on chemical leavening agents! That is, baking powders, soda + acid, ammonium, etc.

If there is a hard question about what to bake with sourdough, then the simplest solution is to buy any HP as a kneader (or a separate kneader) and bake it in the oven.

Well, or use HP in semi-manual mode:
1.Kneading the dough is one program,
2. let the distance be right in the bucket,
3. start baking - this is the second program.
If you need a program for working with sourdough, that is, with a long rise in the dough, I can say that the Unold HP + malt cooker hybrid has such a program. There is a proofing for about 9 hours. In exactly the same hybrid, which is designed for our market (i.e., binaton), this program is no longer there.

So, you can try to look for HPs intended for the German market.

"to let the distance be right in the bucket" - does it mean "when HP is off"?
I made an addition to my post.
Thank you all for your answers.
sazalexter
Castaneda The guest lists ALL components that are even indirectly used or MAY be used in production
you have listed detergents and disinfectants for disinfecting equipment in the production of yeast.
Roughly the same list is used in the production of sugar, dairy products, etc.
Basja

If you want to make with sourdough - do it, I made rye in HP in manual mode (but maybe my bread machine has such a feature that there is not enough time for proofing, I don’t know). The kneading was done on pizza or dumplings, and literally 5-7 minutes (if most of the rye flour is present, there is no gluten and it will not develop, so no matter how much you mix, gluten does not form, but the dough can "float", so I just mixed everything ingredients and, either left in the HP (the bread maker is turned off), or put in the oven with the light on (the fermentation process is faster), after doubling the dough volume (this is at least 2-2.5 hours), I turned on the mode in KhP "baking" the baking time is more than an hour I bake wheat bread with sourdough in KhP, I set the mode, depending on what type of bread I bake - French, dietary, etc.
They bake bread without yeast or sourdough, but I don't know how.
Rina
as I already wrote, if absolutely without yeast, then either use chemical. baking powder, or unleavened dough (matzo, pasta).

When using 6-8 g of compressed yeast, you will not even get traces of the chemistry that is supposed to be used in the production process, and not directly in the growing medium. I do not know what GOSTs are quoted by ardent opponents of yeast (sorry for being straightforward, hysterical aunts and uncles). The most likely cited technical documentation assumes coverage of EVERYTHING REQUIRED for production, that is, for maintenance of equipment too.Such regulations are necessary for calculating the cost of the product. I think that you will get much more chemistry from ordinary wheat or rye flour. If you find those. conditions for flour mills, there the list will be, if not steeper, then at least comparable. And how are grain checks carried out for the amount of heavy metals, pesticides, and other rubbish? In any sanitary and hygienic conclusions, it is written "does not exceed ...", that is, available, but not exceeding.
Safety indicators include the content of toxic elements, mycotoxins, pesticides, radionuclides, which should not exceed permissible levels.
out of pure interest, read "Comparative analysis of crop safety performance requirements" applies to soft wheat

Greetings to all members of the forum!

3 days ago I became the owner of SD-ZB2502 BTS.
I thought about the bread maker for a long time, but somehow it didn’t work out.

From time to time I look at the composition of the bread that I buy - it's delicious, but in most cases the composition is not at all happy.
I recently read an article about food and supplements:
🔗
The information is not new, but it is useful to read it periodically.
And at that moment, in one day I chose a bread maker for myself (after reading the reviews, Panasonic remained true - I have two multicooker from this manufacturer).

First impression of SD-ZB2502 BTS:
- very beautiful
(I have a kettle, a microwave oven also made of stainless steel - it fits perfectly with them);
- well done,
- the sound of the end of work is not annoying and does not interfere,
- bakes perfectly - at the moment I managed to make 3 breads (later I will write on what recipes) - everything turned out very well.

At first, my husband was rather skeptical about buying a bread machine, but after trying the bread, he realized that he was wrong.
Our kids liked the bread very much too. Actually, for the sake of them all this was done.

This is as it should be, if the stove did not have time to really cool down or it is warm in the kitchen. Read Features of work of Panasonic bread makers, there, as far as possible, the question of "temperature equalization" is explained, that is, this delay before the start of the batch.
