1) Are there those in this thread who have exactly the same stove as mine (Scarlett sl-1525)? .... which program is better to choose.
2) Another point: I cook bread only for myself, and at the stage of experiments I would especially like to make breads of minimum size. In my oven 500 g and 750 g are provided. I read on the forum that, it seems, it is possible and less proportionally reducing all the components. Others write that it is advisable to put at least 350 g of flour.
I have a Scarlet 400, I bake mainly in two programs: basic and French. HP is also designed for 500 and 750 grams, the minimum amount of flour that I used was 300 grams. Good luck to you!!!!

Thank you.
I am now baking "Lazy Croissant" ( https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=23944.0 )
set the "French" flour to 300 g. counted the recipe
What do you think is better to bake to the end on the "French" program or on baking for 60 minutes as in that recipe?
Haven't used pastries in Scarlett yet. How does she work? there I have only 10 minutes can be set. That is, you need to press the button 6 times in a row to dial 60 minutes?
Omela
Alexander, if you just want bread, then bake on the program. In the recipe, the dough is taken out, rolled out, folded, etc. It turns out the layering of the croissant.

To set the baking time, you need to press the "timer" button and it will be added by 5 minutes to 60.
nifty5
okay I will try.
Thank you
Omela
Good luck!

Tell me, does the Scarlet bread machine make bread more fluffy and porous? I would like to see the photo.
It's true from gluten-free flour, but from a good mix of German Mix B

nifty5 , gluten-free bread is quite peculiar .. anyway it won't be the same in structure as usual. Personally, I have never baked it, so I can’t help. Check out the recipes for gluten-free bread here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=252.0

I looked at the recipes there - there they are more often made from rice flour, corn flour, and not from mixtures. I don't like how it works out of them.
I've baked gluten-free bread more than once, only in the oven before. Mix B in the oven is very good, sometimes it works. Do not compare at all what happened in the bread maker yesterday. I also tried to make gluten-free bread from the McMaster mixture in a Panasonic bread maker - it was also better. In general, there are some concerns that the matter is in the bread maker .. I will experiment a little more, if the result is the same, then I will have to abandon the bread maker and bake in the oven so that the mixture is not translated in vain.

Here many have one. If you are not going to bake bread from morning to evening and you have a modest budget, then of course take it. This is not even a bad bread maker.

I have 400 and I am quite like an elephant, and 401 will be even better, because more

It's better to have fresh bread every time. I have a 400 model for less than a month, but I never lose heart when it doesn't work out. Initially I wanted Mystery 1202, but by chance I saw Scarlet in the store for 1665 rubles, the price bribed me when choosing. And the weight of 750 g is enough.
Filabrazili
what do you recommend - Binaton 1065 or Scarlett SC-400 ???
the price is the same now (minimally more expensive than scarlett)
this will be my first bread maker, I have never baked myself)
Omela
Filabrazili , welcome to the forum. To answer this question, you need to have both the stove and the other to compare. Scarlett is a decent stove for her money. The maximum weight of bread is 750g.

Well, here is a difficult case. I have a scarlet first, and I am very happy !!! But I don't know another
Nata 34
Good day, all bakers! Take me into your ranks too. I have SC-401, for almost a month now. There have never been any failures. True, she baked only basic, French and instant bread. Most of all I liked the "Fast" bread. I measure everything with a glass, for lack of scales. I have a question: did anyone bake the Kugelhof cake? I really want to bake!

And what kind of quick bread, you can be curious
Yes , WELCOME !!!!

Thank you! "Quick bread" is what we call it. Program 5 - quick cooking. And I'll bake a cupcake tomorrow and report back.

We will wait for the cupcake, preferably with a photo But as for the quick program, it's clear, but what kind of bread do you bake there? from the book to the stove?
Nata 34
Yes, from a book. It turns out delicious, it reminds of a saichka.

I must try, though I have 400, maybe our books have different recipes

In general, I put the Kugelhov cupcake, but on the first ascent we turned off the light. I turned on a new one and I will wait for the result!

And today I baked "fast" or "accelerated" I call it. The bun turned out to be not very high, but it is strange that the top is completely white, not baked. It tastes dense, maybe I have something ... well, I don't know for a long time I've been baking with this yeast, and I haven't changed the flour. Hmm .... I will try again

Sabrina , the top is light because the bread did not rise to the edge of the bucket.
IRR
I had my scarlet without work for a long time, and a couple of days ago I turned it on, so what? it slows down in all modes, does not knead stops. And liquids, as always, 250 gram-glass. that is, not much. will have to drag to the service abydna yes
Omela
Mabut has rusted.

No, I put a maximum of 300 g of water + 25 g of vegetable oil.

Omela I wonder why he didn't get up all because of the recipe, and weighed up to grams, even measured the water with a thermometer. Okay, I'll try again, we'll see who wins
Omela
How long is this program? There was not enough time to get up, or it might be cold, for example, in the kitchen.

Interesting! It always rises for me!
Recipe from the book:
750 gr.
1. Water with egg - 270 ml.
2. Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.
3. Salt - 1 tsp.
4. Sugar - 2 tbsp. l.
5. Powdered milk - 3 tbsp. l.
6. Flour - 3 cups.
7. Yeast - 4 tsp.
I usually keep the egg on the table for a couple of hours, the water is lukewarm. Once again, I will note I do not have scales, I measure everything with a glass and a measuring spoon.

Yesterday I baked Sweet bread (from a book), but instead of vegetable oil, I added butter + egg, vanillin and candied fruits 100 gr (I needed 150 gr). It turned out yummy! The bread is denser, but still tasty! How to insert a photo?

Colleagues can someone tell me the recipe for a loaf that would look like a store?
My son says that everything I bake resembles rolls, but he wants a "loaf".
Omela you have an AU, can you have something in your store
Sabrina
Omela thank you dear !!!
I will try to please my son, though I will try it all the same in HP, otherwise the stove spoiled me in the oven.

Girls! Apparently, something is wrong with me: I have to change the third stove already. I changed the 1st one a month after the purchase - the bucket started to leak (the grease flowed under the bucket and into the bucket itself), the 2nd lasted longer - about a year, but the bucket began to leak three months after replacing the stove (however, the grease flowed only under the bucket ), but it jammed recently, changed the 3rd a month ago, and already in the test I find dark inclusions of grease around the pin of the blade, large enough, see 2-3 !, and today I saw black stripes and "commas" in the finished bread, and a bucket when kneading, it became somehow strange to knock-gnash.
I treat the buckets so carefully: I don't wash them, I just don't clean them with a damp sponge; I do not leave liquid in a bucket for a long time, maximum, a minute or two before kneading; I take out and insert the bucket very carefully, turning slightly in different directions so that it can easily enter the grooves. So what am I doing wrong?
Half already told me that he was tired of dragging this stove to the service.
In general, I decided that I would take another Scarlett, but until the next bucket flows, I will calmly choose another stove.
Omela
variety , that of course the other must be taken. WMS party what kind of defective you have.
variety
Omela, so I took the first two stoves a year ago, and the current one, a year later, is the same, with a fluid bucket. Either I am so "lucky", or they all have such buckets in 401s, well, or I somehow handle the bucket in a wrong way.
Ay, I'll take another one, and if I'm not lucky with this one, I will definitely change it for another. It's just that now we have other expenses, so I don’t want to pay extra for another stove (it will turn out, as much as this one costs). I'll change it for now, and then, when the next one "leaks", I'll take it more expensive.
