Whey leaves even the most correct yoghurt if its consistency is violated. This is normal and it should be.

Means I have the most correct yogurt

Good day! Take me to the ranks of the Orion multicooker owners. Yesterday I baked a poppy seed cake according to this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=102236.0 it turned out a little different from the recipe, because instead of half sour cream, I took milk, the cake turned out to be soft and moist, but delicious. Baked well, not burnt, but what you need.
What do you think, if you turn it over and in the crust mode (is there such a mode in this cartoon? Is it steam?) To fry the white top, will it work?

How do I set the cooking time in Cook mode? It does not change for me, although the recipes in the booklet that came with the instructions say that you can set the time only as it is not written.
Grypana
steam is Extinguishing Steam
stew - Stewing
crust - Crust. Assumes the presence of liquid prior to evaporation. Good for large pieces of meat or cooking pilaf (as in Panasonic this program)
When flipping the pie, I would use Cake mode again.

Natasha, no, don't confuse the person, steam- this is "for a couple",
"extinguishing" in Orion is Stew

sirniki, and of course it is better to bake on the same Baking, that is, cake.

Irdo4ka
And I remembered that a bowl for steam is called a steamer :) And only this saves me from not confusing steam and stew :))

And at first, every time I opened the printout with the translation of the programs and looked for the right word :)))

Girls, we took Orion to mom (mother-in-law). Now I don’t know how to slip her so that she doesn’t stand idle)
She does not have the Internet, we live a long way away, and then the only thing I can help is to explain by phone.

Now I am dealing with cartoons, but so far, apart from borscht, cottage cheese and steamed vegetables, I haven’t cooked there.
What do you advise to cook at the "presentation" multi right at the mother-in-law, in order to convince by personal example, so to speak?
What is particularly successful in this cartoon?
DonnaFelice
You need to start with some kind of porridge beloved) This is a win-win option.
My mother, who never liked rice, says that it is really delicious in a slow cooker. And I love all cereals, but here they really turn out to be even tastier. And if you consider that you do not approach them while cooking, then generally a dream
And in order to finish off the mother-in-law, you can bake something quickly, although you need to put baking paper in our saucepan, it will be difficult not to appreciate the delicious pie in the summer, when the oven cannot be turned on.
It all depends on what your mother-in-law loves. Maybe for her the best thing is if you make homemade yogurt right away in our Orion: flowers:

here, by the way, about paper. I, unfortunately, did not master the whole topic, and I did not read about paper.
But when I was preparing the cottage cheese casserole, I did not put the paper down, I hoped that everything would pop out anyway. As a result, the curd is a bit stuck to the walls and bottom. I attributed it to the fact that it turned out to be wet due to the fact that I added pieces of peaches to the curd, and they gave juice.
In general, it did not burn - it was of a beautiful color, but did not voluntarily want to lag behind the walls.
In dex, I had no problems with this.
DonnaFelice
Sone4ka, Orion's saucepan is problematic, its coating is unstable. Therefore, in order to avoid sticking of the baked goods and to preserve the integrity of the pan itself, if we bake from baking paper, we cut out a circle on the bottom, it sticks a little bit to the sides, but it can strongly stick to the bottom.
In principle, there is a topic on the forum where Polina sells spare pots, there are both non-stick coating and stainless steel, many girls bought themselves pots to replace and do not know grief
sirniki
Thank you all very much for your answers!
I baked a cheese cake, I didn’t think of putting paper in, but I fell behind with a silicone spatula, but when I cut it, it turned out that the dough was raw, not liquid, but it didn’t rise, or fell off. What could be the reason for this? I guess I didn't finish the bake, because it was only 50 minutes and I immediately opened and turned over the other side to finish baking. How can I increase the baking time that I do not get on the Cake program?
1oksi1
the Cake program is automatic - the time does not change, so after 50 minutes, turn on this mode again and turn it off manually after the required time
fronya40
Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I made yogurt in a multicooker, in cans, three half-liter cans. It turned out much better than in a yogurt maker !!
fronya40
I have two yogurt makers, and always I have something that somehow overheats yogurt, then like snot ..... now I put them in the closet. and two because I didn’t like the first one, I bought the second one. again 25 ......!

Virgo, there is some encouraging news for the Orion OR-MT01 hostesses.
If the manager made the correct measurements, then our Orionchiks, MAYBE, have a saucepan with a ceramic coating for 155 UAH.
I ordered today, they will send it only tomorrow, so I don’t try on before Saturday ((

There are discrepancies in millimeters in diameter (3-5 mm less), but the girth and height coincide with ours, so the probability is close to 100%

Irdo4ka
Sone4ka, it seems to me that here in the subject someone ordered a pan from Liberty-860 from this site, but not a ceramic one. And she goes to Orioshka :) So ceramic will do, most likely :) Only then, be sure to write to all of us how she is :)
Sone4ka

but of course, I will definitely unsubscribe.
True, I have no experience with ceramics - I didn’t hold ceramic pans for cartoons in my hands, I didn’t see it in my eyes and I don’t imagine how the cooking in it is fundamentally different, but I’m ready to accept it as my own and love it
subiata
Today I took a ceramic pot from the carrier from the Techmag website. At first glance, it seemed to me that my own was somehow more solid. But still, the new one is not bad. In height, it is higher than its native one by a couple of mm, literally by the thickness of the edge. And, probably, wider, since it sits in a slow cooker somehow denser than a native one. Nevertheless, everything closed and I even baked a vanilla sponge cake on boiling water. But I decided to add cocoa, and then there was a battery in the scales. So I measured everything with spoons. Therefore, there was no exact adherence to the recipe. I made a good biscuit, but rather small. I see the reason in non-compliance with the recipe. She shook the saucepan a little - the biscuit slid straight onto the plate. I smeared the bottom a little, but I don't see the point. The melted butter does not stick to the walls. Unless it will be necessary to smear with a soft oil, then it will catch on. If at all it will be necessary. A little later I will try to bake exactly according to the recipe - compare I think that everything will be fine. The only thing is that in the Teflon form, the biscuit did not fall out of the saucepan so much and I cooled it upside down on the wire rack. And in ceramic, I think, it will not hold out. For a biscuit, this may be a minus, but for all sorts of pies, muffins, casseroles, that's it.
DonnaFelice
subiata, very interesting. I heard that in ceramic molds the oven does not work very well at all. But if you do it with the exact recipe and everything works out, then I will also need to buy a saucepan.
subiata
It's good that I didn't see and started baking. And then I would not start. Even this thin biscuit learned to be rather dry, but it took about 50 minutes to bake. As soon as I change the battery in the scales, I will try to bake it in it. I will compare and unsubscribe.
DonnaFelice
Well, yes, experiments are our everything)
I just started to think, maybe I read about the fact that someone in particular does not like to bake in it?
After all, they bake in ceramic molds in the oven, and they bake perfectly ...
In any case, I look forward to your further experiments)

oh, I'm lucky, and I'm already 27 to get

but I grabbed myself one more native spare tire for only 120 UAH.They took her to Aurora, but Aurora went back under the guarantee, and the saucepan remained.
Now I have a stainless steel (from Polina), two relatives, and on Tuesday a ceramic

And further. I did not find on the search who cooks jellied meat on what prog, put it on soup. But on this program, all the same, the gurgles are specific, but in principle it was for me that it languished. Then I left him on the "warm-up" all day. In the evening I came home from work - in appearance and taste - super! The broth is transparent, the meat is soft. The shank is separated from the bone by one or two.
Now I strained the broth, left it to cool, so that it would be easier to remove the fat. Then I'll warm it up a little and pour it.
if everything turns out as I planned, I will take this method into service. Minimum labor costs, because)
subiata
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=2227.0-read here. I have not read the whole topic, but from other sources I know that jellied meat is cooked on "stewing" and are satisfied. This, if I am not mistaken, even in this thread was discussed at the beginning somewhere. I've already been going to cook in a slow cooker a couple of times, but out of habit I will put everything in my usual saucepan, start cooking and then I just remember about MV. Somehow it doesn't add up.
Grypana
Aspic, if we cook on a regular stove, then over low heat. In MV, slow fire replaces Extinguish. On Soup, the boil is more violent.

I totally agree! Checked more than once! That which is necessary for the jellied meat is barely moving ...

Oh, I don't know what to say. Either it fries harder for me, or it's a stainless saucepan, but today I tried to cook a piece of beef for aspic on the stew again - it boils very noticeably. Active gurgles in several places and after a while subside only if the lid is kept completely open.
Next time I'll try it in my own saucepan, maybe I can get what I want without unnecessary gestures. All the same, in terms of thermal conductivity, stainless steel differs from aluminum, which is probably why it boils more strongly.

Who knows what the warm-up temperature is here? (I don't have a thermometer higher than 45 degrees yet)
Grypana

70 degrees, give or take.
DonnaFelice
Sone4ka, yesterday I cooked meat according to Gashin's recipe for stewing and was very worried, followed the process. So, on Stew, first everything boils, and then the more time it costs, the less gurgles. As a result, after 2 hours, my meat was quietly snoring, and not boiling.
melrin
I cook jellied meat on stewing, put everything in a saucepan, including onions and carrots, salt, peppercorns and lavrushka, put it on stewing for 5 hours and go to bed, turn off the cartoon in the morning, cool down and pour the jellied meat for a couple of hours, the only minus I put the garlic right in plates, but as for me there is never too much garlic
Sone4ka
received a ceramic bowl today. She is so white, so pretty
I haven't cooked anything yet, I just washed it and boiled the water in it - tomorrow I'll start testing.
I hope it doesn't need to be prepared in any special way for the first use?
Sone4ka
yes, to everyone who responded about the jellied meat - thank you very much
I don’t know what it’s connected with, but my activity on stewing is not the same almost all the time, as I would like for jellied meat.
But I still can't get to experience it with my own cup, maybe it's because of the stainless steel problem.
In any case, the multicooker is excellent, and now mine is also with a dowry)
Sone4ka
Quote: fronya40

Sonechka, you describe in detail everything about ker. a cup, maybe I also need it.

it is slightly different in shape from a multi-cooker pan - its side, like a pressure cooker, is narrower, without a raised groove.
But I looked - the seal from the lid overlaps it, the lid closes tightly, and this is not a problem.
It weighs about as much as its own, 30g less.

I have a "first step" indecision problem.I do not know if it is necessary to somehow prepare it for the first use, and in general, the principle of operation is unknown to me.
It is necessary to look where they are discussing this, but the search does not give anything worthwhile, and there is no time to read megabytes of flood

now I’ll put milk in it to boil, and then yogurt (so that it doesn’t stand idle), and in the late afternoon I’ll decide on the first dish in this snow white.
Sone4ka
the answers of other users from this topic disappear somewhere and it turns out that "I am quietly talking to myself"
when there is no feedback, interest disappears, so I report on ceramics and set off until better times.

I tried to bake a honey cake, but like the previous subiata, I moved away from the recipe and got a flat pancake.
For the sake of the purity of the experiment, it would be necessary to make a biscuit or charlotte, but I don't want to.

further. The omelet, scrambled eggs and rice turned out perfect, as did the stew with vegetables.
in general, I'm happy with the saucepan. Maybe because this is the first pottery in my kitchen.

Yes, I almost forgot. She boiled three liters of homemade milk for yogurt, it's good that under supervision, otherwise a general cleaning would not have been avoided. All the same, CB is more convenient for this.
Grypana
Sonechka, thanks for the info! Now my favorite toy is a pressure cooker too, and I often use Orioshe for cooking dishes with steam. Your experience is useful too !!!

Due to the frequent use of stainless steel casserole in Orion, this casserole is already very unmarketable. It was the bottom that darkened very, very much.

And they clean our Temka, probably, so it turned out that the main and necessary posts remain
kot-kesha
Who knows what the warm-up temperature is here? (I don't have a thermometer higher than 45 degrees yet)
The temperature is about 100 degrees, the time is 25 minutes. On this program, I cooked milk porridge with the lid open
DonnaFelice
It seems like someone said that the temperature was at 90 degrees, but I did not check ...
But if milk porridge was boiled, and it was boiling, then really no less than 100

girls help waited, waited for a non-stick bowl at Polina's and she now writes that for some reason non-stick bowls are poorly included in New Year's orionchiks, and I just bought before the new year, so I'm wondering what to do. I'm used to it already in the cartoon, please reset the link to the ceramics, I understood correctly, does it bake normally?
subiata
I bought this one (the photo has already appeared, the same white inside). I don’t know if you noticed that the other (to Liberty 900) does not suit us, as they wrote earlier. I baked a biscuit again, but without cocoa, it turned out very good, it rose to the 6 cups mark. It would most likely have turned out the first time, if the cocoa had been better - you can see some bad stuff. We tried to brew cocoa (drink) from it - we could not drink it, it was very tasteless. So the problem was with the cocoa, most likely.
kresnaya
subiata please tell me you ordered which carrier how did you pay and how much the delivery cost, otherwise I also want the same
subiata
I ordered cash on delivery through New mail. The shipment cost me 43 UAH. But this is due to cash on delivery. If it is prepaid, then it will be twice cheaper, or even less - I remember the total amount, but not how much for what. As far as I remember, when placing an order, you need to specify the type of payment and delivery. The most affordable option is through Privatbank. Most likely they have it. In such cases, I pay through Privat24, but then I had no money on the card, so I ordered payment upon receipt.

The price is not low, but adequate. Look at the prices for these (similar) pans on taobao and everything will fall into place at once.
This is my first cookware with such a coating, so there is nothing to compare with. But while I have no complaints, I have been using it not so long ago.

Elsewhere you can buy the same ceramic bowl for 300 UAH And there will be no complaints. As we bought many spare wheels for 90 UAH, and they are sold for 270 UAH in other points.
Sonechka, you have a good cup, let it serve for a long time

Thank you, I'm sure she'll be okay too.
I bought my own bowl for Orion for 120 UAH, and in other places it is from two hundred and more, so the price in this case is not an indicator.

Today I drove a ceramic bowl for frying onions, mushrooms, chicken legs and cheesecakes - everything went with a bang
I liked to fry the onions in it - even a slight darkening is clearly visible on the white background of the coating and absolutely nothing sticks.
I categorically declare - it is better than my own, in any case I like to cook in it more.

Girls! Could you write down the dimensions of your own Orion pan?
Grypana
The inner diameter is 21.6 cm.
The outer diameter is 23.8 cm.
Height - 14.5 cm

Bowl circumference directly under the rim - 69.5cm
Bowl circumference closer to the bottom - 68.4 cm
plus / minus 1 mm.

Actually, I heard about this story, but I have this bowl with a corrugated bottom fits perfectly into the Orion multicooker. In my opinion, this was an isolated case. Yes, and Paulie, in my opinion, the new multicooker is also Orion, and everything fits perfectly. But ceramics interested. I just know that over time, small cracks go along such bowls. Does this ceramic bowl fit the Orion multicooker or not, tell me?
