Mini buns with prunes

Ingredients

Prunes 16 pcs.
Rum 3 tbsp. l.
Flour 300 g
Dry yeast 5 g
Egg 1 PC.
Sugar 3 tbsp. l.
Salt pinch
Yogurt 150 g
Butter 20 g
Powdered sugar

Cooking method

  • Soak prunes in rum for 45 minutes - 1 hour.

  • Mix flour and yeast in a bowl.
  • Grind the egg with sugar, add salt, yogurt and beat with a mixer.

  • I use HP for mixing. Pour flour with yeast into a bucket, pour the egg-yogurt mixture on top. We turn on the HP on the "Pelmeni" mode - this is 20 minutes of kneading. At the end, we get a perfect bun and a very pleasant dough to the touch.

  • Divide the finished dough into 16 parts. We knead each piece of dough with our hands into a cake, put 1 prune, pinch the dough and roll a ball.
  • Put the balls in a greased mold and let them come up for 30 minutes. It is not necessary to put the balls tightly - they will increase in size.

  • We heat the oven to 180about C. Grease the balls on top with melted butter and bake for about 20 - 25 minutes. Sprinkle the finished buns with icing sugar.

  • You can eat both warm and cold.

The dish is designed for

16 pieces

Note

I want to talk about the test separately. It surprised me a lot - it is silky to the touch, it seems that it sticks to your hands, but no, it lags behind them very easily.

I never thought that the dough without "rises and falls" (I don't count the proofing of finished buns) could be like this "food-airy"The aroma of baking, combined with sweet and sour prunes, is something! Everything flies away for breakfast (with coffee, milk, etc.), of course, instantly.

Very fast, very tasty!

Only now I have no rum. There is cognac and martini.
Can any of this be applied?

Brandy, definitely. Cognac is also friendly with prunes ... and without prunes it is also good.

Ooh-ooh-ooh! Then an hour will definitely not be needed. It will turn out to be an express recipe.

But is it possible without alcohol at all? The baby will eat. Maybe you can soak in something non-alcoholic?

You can, of course, - in warm water.

The main purpose of alcohol is, firstly, to soften prunes, and secondly, to give it a "drunken" flavor. So water will do just fine with the first task, and you don't need the second.

THE MAIN THING do not overexpose prunes in water, otherwise it will turn into a rag, and we do not need extra liquid.

Thank you!!!
Yesterday I baked a braid with prunes. Admin was not in the house. I tried to leave the prunes and raisins in the cognac. It turned out so delicious !!!

AlisaS, very glad that I liked it. And there is no photo left? ..

I made a layer of pumpkin, then a layer of raisins and prunes. I put almonds inside the prunes, but I didn't feel something.

Figase! It turned out great. And also raisins, almonds, pumpkin ... Well this is a "treasure trove of vitamins and minerals".

Is it from one portion of dough?

Thank you!!!
I made a braid and two more small buns with prunes. But we snapped at the buns immediately and there was no photo of them.
I put the pumpkin raw (sprinkled with sugar on top) and then paid for it - she began to actively release juice (my friend advised to sprinkle it with starch on top, so that this did not happen or use already boiled one). I haven’t bought an electric oven yet, so I’m mastering a gas oven, and it’s very difficult to navigate with the temperature in it - I dried out the braid a little, but still it turned out very, very tasty.
All in all, I recommend the prune buns to everyone!

I'm trying to insert a report photo:

It was ... really ... not much ... you have to make a double portion. The only thing that has changed is less yeast (3g). Thank you very much!!

Uffff !! Finally I got to these buns !!!
Kneading the dough in the HP mode (30 minutes). When mixing, I added 1 measuring tbsp. l. flour. Fresh yeast 12g. Peach yogurt. I did not soak the prunes, I have it fleshy. Proof for exactly 30 minutes.

Thank you very much for the recipe!

I wanted buns, I came across this recipe, I liked it right away! I decided to change it a little, because instead of prunes I'll put plum jam, and I spilled rum into the dough right away, and added a couple more drops of vanilla flavor. I took fresh yeast, the dough is awesome! just standing, parting, waiting for her turn for baking after bread :-)
I risk trying everything in a slow cooker, mastering a novelty ;-)
I'll bring a photo report!

Hello everyone, there is a question about this pastry: can you replace yogurt with sour cream?

I think you can. The buns will be even more rich and fluffy.
Gray Bim
I will definitely try, thanks!
