Ingredients

Zucchini variety "Ball" 3 pcs.
Long grain rice 100 g
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Carrot 1 PC.
Chicken flesh 200 g
Hard cheese 100 g
Mint 4 twigs
Pumpkin seeds 50 g
Sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Rinse the rice, add water and boil until half cooked. Drain the water.
  • Peel onions and carrots, grate on a coarse grater. Finely chop the flesh of the chicken.
  • Fry onions and carrots in hot oil until soft.
  • Add chicken, fry for 5 minutes until color changes.
  • Grind seeds, cheese, mint leaves with a blender.
  • Cut off the "lid" of the zucchini, select the seeds with a spoon (discard) and the pulp, leaving the walls. 5mm thick. Finely chop the pulp.
  • Mix the fried onions with soak and chicken, with rice, zucchini pulp, nut-cheese mass and sour cream. Season to taste, stir.
  • Put the prepared mass in the courgettes, cover with "lids". Wrap each "Ball" in foil.
  • Put prepared zucchini on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 220C for about 40 minutes.
  • Remove the foil before serving.
  • My mother planted an interesting variety of zucchini for testing - "Ball". Such a miracle has grown.

It's a pity to cut them just like that, I had to come up with something unusual. In the end, it turned out very tasty. Of course, I didn't master the whole ball (only half), but my husband ate it all and praised it a lot. If this variety is not available, you can use regular zucchini by cutting it lengthwise. The dish is good both warm and cold.
