Thanks for answers. Yesterday I had a "pen test". The fries are great. I tried to make Ratatouille from a recipe book. nothing, but vegetables (zucchini and bell peppers) are not ready. I pulled it out and mixed it several times. I cooked at 200 degrees with a total time of 30 minutes. However, I put all the vegetables in a basket on foil so that the juice would not leak out. maybe this is the case? If anyone knows what the matter is and what I did wrong, write please
I will train and try other recipes.

For vegetables, it seems to me that the temperature is high, I would set no more than 170-180.

Tell me, is it possible to cook pork neck? It is written that fatty foods cannot be ...

And another question, if you take pork ham meat (that is, without fat), will it turn out soft and juicy in a short time? In our city it is difficult to find a tenderloin, which even cooks in a frying pan in 20 minutes.

the neck can definitely be cooked, I offer the ham in a sleeve or in foil, if in a large piece, and if in portions, then it needs to be experimented and marinated first.

Good afternoon, I'm new here. I've been friends with the bread maker for almost a year now. But Philips bought an air fryer recently. And now I'm collecting recipes. While making potatoes in different ways. My husband liked this recipe: I sprinkle potatoes soaked and dried, cut in a Born vegetable cutter with seasoning for potatoes and put them in the AF grid, already preheated. I set it for 10 minutes at 200 degrees, after the signal I mix it and again for 10 minutes, then shake it for another 5 minutes. It turns out a rosy tasty crispy potato. Liked it with sweet and sour sauce. I also baked marinated chicken legs, but it seems that there was not enough time. (20 minutes). I had to bake for another 10 minutes. At the bottom of the grid I put food foil. But with zucchini did not work. Can someone tell me how to bake delicious zucchini in AF?
mary_kyiv
Today I made zucchini, I had small 15 centimeters,
cut them across into halves.and then each piece was cut lengthwise into quarters, slices 7 centimeters long came out. They must be dried and rolled in breading. As a breading, I used wheat germ flakes mixed with dry paprika, dry garlic and pepper. Sprinkled a little with oil. I threw it into a fryer preheated to 190 degrees for 25 minutes, shaken it four times. Then she put everything on plates and salted. Most importantly, you need to salt it just before serving. Zucchini came out, exactly baked.
Al7
Thanks for the recipe. You should definitely try.
Husky
And in AF I got such sausages in the test. I cooked for 180 * 6 minutes.

Some cooked in an air fryer, and some in an airfryer. There is no difference, only faster in time in an air fryer.

I've been reading the forum for a long time, thanks to the discussions I chose a bread maker a couple of years ago.
Recently I bought an air fryer. And I'm waiting for the installation of the dishwasher.
The question is - as far as I understand, both the bowl and the mesh can be washed in the dishwasher. Do the plastic parts suffer? Doesn't the view become "short-cut"?

The species does not suffer, but I often do not wash. Very often I line the bowl with foil, and then wash it with handles under the tap without scrap.

Tell me please. I bought this air fryer. It turns out very tasty, but there is one problem - when I fry chicken wings (I lightly coat them with vegetable oil) - there is white smoke around the apartment. Very fuming. The official website says that in the middle of frying, remove chicken fat from a baking sheet with a paper towel. But this is very inconvenient, and you need to watch out when fat from the chicken starts to drip (namely fat, not oil) ... Maybe someone could solve this problem? Will breading help? or pour crackers on a baking sheet? I don't even know what to do, I really like the device!
julifera
anto80 - I always fry chicken in breading, roll it, it - breading - as if absorbs and does not smoke much.
I baked pork kebabs without breading - the flight was normal, there was no smoke, but the onions were almost completely burned
Tanyulya
I have no smoke at all. I often have breading through the back holes on the table, this is it.
Air fryer
places where it is darker. there juice from the chicken flowed, but did not smoke.
Anna3103
Girls' wings should be rolled in starch for 22 wings 1 tablespoon, and then in breadcrumbs, in addition, it is very good after breaded wings to sprinkle them with olive oil, this is sold in supermarkets in special bottles with a sprayer, very economical. The inside of the wings is juicy and the outside is crispy
anto80
Thanks for the advice! My problem was solved by buying wings from another company. In the first case, there was a lot of fat under the skin of the chicken.

Answer who knows my questions, please!

1. Can I use baking paper or parchment for baking? (in the instructions for the paper it is written that it cannot be used with the grill turned on, but it is written withstands up to 400 degrees). I'm thinking whether to buy or not ...

2. Has anyone tried to cook porridge in it? it may be stupid to cook it in such a small stove, but I also need very small portions for a child. They seem to be boiled in pots in airfryer, maybe you should buy a small glass pan with a hook?
Tanyulya
You can use paper, foil.
I didn't cook porridge.

Girls, I don’t dry potatoes with napkins. I cut it, washed it under ice water in a colander, shook it off and pour it into the AF while it warms up (150 g for 3-4 minutes). During this time, it dries out. I pour everything into a deep plate, mix with oil, salt, spices and back to AF min.15 at 180 gr. If you want sunburn, then I add another 3 minutes for 200 g ..

A good option. I'm not doing very well with mine, this drying procedure finishes me off.

Girls, tell me the minced meat recipe for cutlets so that they turn out juicy. I did it yesterday, but they turned out to be very dry. I cooked for 180g for 15 minutes. Minced beef was made with onions and spices. The first batch was not coated with oil, it turned out very good. dry. The second one was oiled, they came out better, but still not that. What is the secret of juicy patties?
Rita
The secret of the juiciness of cutlets in ... a bun, which is soaked in water or milk, and then added to the minced meat. In addition, the beef itself is dry. Better to make cutlets from mixed minced meat - beef + pork. But, for the taste of my husband and son-in-law, the most delicious cutlets from turkey thighs.
viktorria
Thank you. I forgot about the bun.
Stafa
Yesterday I became the owner of an air fryer instead of the deceased AG. I bought it for 4999 rubles in Eldorado. I was glad that the guarantee was 2 years, otherwise the AG lived for 1 year and 3 months with constant use for 1 year and 3 months standing in a cupboard and a couple of times took out a grill for chicken and baked potatoes, on potatoes and broke, which had to be baked in the micro. While I made fries and pieces of chicken in mayonnaise with garlic, I liked the FSE.
Stafa
AF shocked me today. I really love pork ribs, but they always don't taste as good as I would like. Already wherever I didn’t cook them pickled - everything seems to fit, but the baby is not ours. And today I made it in AF and here it is, this taste
Yesterday I made small breaded chicken breast - I also liked it. So AF took its place of honor in the kitchen on an equal footing with HP, MV, microwave and a coffee machine.
Qween
Stafa, and I had such joy when I deep-fried pancakes with cottage cheese for the first time in it.

This air fryer is strong. I cook in it almost every day. To be honest, I didn’t expect it to be so in demand with so many appliances in the kitchen.

Girls, I do not soak French fries, before cooking, already.
I take two large potatoes of the Belorossa variety, peel, mine, cut. I put it in a bag, add salt and a spoonful of oil. I shake it a few times and pour it into the airfryer basket. I set it for 10 minutes, then I shake it for another 5 minutes. It turns out a rosy, soft potato inside. Very tasty . Does not stick together during cooking.

PS: I do not preheat the air fryer. The temperature as set a hundred years ago at 180 degrees, so it stands, I do not change.
julifera
And thanks to the air fryer, we finally ate these potatoes
And then there was some kind of universal hunger for him - they baked almost every day. Now I don't even remember when the last time they made fries and I don't want to
Recently, we often bake apples in AF
And at work, one of the guys said - they say it is fast and tasty in the microwave.
Well, for comparison, I tried it (I had never done it before) - rubber-rubber - no shit with baked in AF ...
Tanyulya
And I really like puff pastry in AF and potatoes like country style. Especially when the parents come to visit this potato just in leo

Hello, Happy New Year!
Health, optimism, love, strength and prosperity!
If it's not difficult, tell me, I looked through the information about the Philips HD9220 / 20 and did not understand whether it is possible to set the temperature myself?
And, specifically I'm interested in, you can set 80 grams. Celsius?
So that in manual mode, without programs?
Qween
Szencimen, Hello. And I wish you a Happy New Year!

Yes, you can set it to 80 degrees. There are no programs in the airfryer. Time and degrees are simply set.
Szencimen
Thank you very much for your prompt reply.
I became interested in this device as the main device for making "sandwich" sausage.
Actually 80 Celsius is the main cooking temperature recommended for sausages.
Sometimes, however, they recommend 65. But to be honest, I would not do this without the use of alcohol and high salt content + vinegar, lemon ...
Qween
Will the sausage be fat?
Szencimen
I actually cook sausages like I did 200 years ago.
7 parts of meat - 3 parts of lard (fat).
Qween
Szencimen, I'm not asking for curiosity. The fact is that fatty sausages burn very much when frying in an air fryer. White smoke pours in a shaft during cooking and a lot of fat flows down into the pan. The instructions say that you can't cook fatty foods, but I decided to try it. I'm not going to repeat it again.

But here Lyi cooked, then I was satisfied, it seems.

If you want, then look through this topic. In its bowels were reports of sausage in an air fryer.

Let's just say that if I bought an air fryer for the sake of cooking sausage, I would be very disappointed.
Szencimen
Here's how ...
Is it just a question of the cooking temperature?
Actually, any sausage explodes very effectively at a temperature above boiling, it is bursting with the boiling liquid itself, not fat (sorry for the unambiguity of the statement, but I just know that).
That's why I was wondering if it was possible to set 80 Celsius - at this temperature, the sausage does not burst both in the oven and when boiling in water.
Qween
Yeah like this ...

The sausage did not explode during cooking (and it itself turned out to be very tasty), but it smoked fat. Look at the photos that I gave above.

It will be great if at 80 degrees there is no such child, but it will be a shame for you if you buy an expensive device, and it will disappoint.

The instructions do not recommend cooking fatty foods at all. So see for yourself, maybe the white smoke with a rocker will not distract you at all, or by testing it will turn out to cook without any smoke at all.
Our job is to share our experience or advice if the doubter asked a question.

Dear members of the forum! Happy New Year! Good luck and health to you! For several years I have been reading your forum and consider it one of the most informative. Finally ripe to join your ranks. I love kitchen appliances very much and use them. I would like to recommend trying to bake bell peppers in an air fryer. Even in winter, from the supermarket, it turns out delicious. To do this, you need to heat the air fryer to a temperature of 180 degrees, put the bell pepper in a basket and after 10-15 minutes it is ready. Transfer the pepper to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 5-10 minutes. Then remove the skin and season with vegetable oil, garlic and lemon juice. Add a little salt. The Bulgarians call it Chushka Pechena. Delicious and can be refrigerated for several days. And I also make a bannitsa (cheese pie) from puff pastry in an air fryer too.

Qween
Babushka, happy New Year! Welcome !
Eeeh, I would now eat a bite with a little pepper. Are you baking banitsu or on a wire rack? Earlier, I chased after the mold, I thought I would often bake in it, but I quickly abandoned this venture.
Babushka
I just bake on the wire rack. The puff pastry does not stick and the bowl is browned on all sides.
Babushka
Bannitsa is a traditional Bulgarian pie. I make it with feta cheese mixed with cottage cheese and egg. I use ready-made puff pastry (you can use filo dough if available in your city). I roll out the puff pastry very thinly and put a very small amount of filling, otherwise the bowl will be wet. For the filling, I mix the grated feta cheese with cottage cheese 50/50 and add one egg. I wrap the dough with a sausage and then a snail. I put it in a hot air fryer and that's it. You can do it in the oven, but then it is better to spread the parchment and grease the bowl on top with vegetable oil.

how much for one package of dough?
sausage - does it mean the roll turns out?
Babushka
Our puff pastry is sold in a package of 4 sheets of approximately 20x15 cm. It turns out 4 bannits. I roll out the sheets very thinly and spread the filling thinly too. I roll it with a sausage or roll and then wrap it with a snail. For this amount of dough, I have 1 package of Bulgarian feta cheese 250 g, one package of cottage cheese 250 g and one egg. If the mixture turns out to be dry, then you can add a couple of tablespoons of kefir or yogurt.
