tut123
Good day!

I ask for advice on choosing a multicooker. Panasonic 18 has been used for many years, but now the coating of the bowl has deteriorated, a new bowl is expensive, and I want to try out a new technique. In the first place we have in terms of the use of CF is beef stewing. Frying in CF is not particularly needed. I also like the preparation of pearl barley or millet before the water is evaporated, as well as multicooker pilaf. I bow to Panas 550. It attracts me that since the release, the jambs with the bowl and the lid fit have been fixed. There is a program for jellied meat and multi-cook. I suppose it will be possible to make ham in a ham maker in it at the right temperature.
Is this a worthy device for our purposes, or can we look at some other models? Thanks in advance for the advice.

tut123, you can expand your searches. The question of the budget and the desire to buy not just right in the store, but turn on your head a little
Larssevsk
tut123Indeed, it is difficult to advise something without a budget. I am delighted with my Philips 3095 multicooker and Steba pressure cooker.
tut123
Anastasenok, there is no race, I'm ready to wait and think - hint in which direction

Larssevsk, I read about Shteba - I also liked the description. But I also saw an opinion on the forum that the stew on Shteba turns out like canned stew, and from MV it is much tastier. what is your opinion? It would be desirable for us to get by with one device - there is not so much space in the kitchen

I'll see about this Philips.
Larssevsk
tut123, meat, offal, we stew in Shteba. My family really likes it. No one rebels that something is wrong. Sensory modes in Philips. Pilaf is only there. Pilaf, of course, girls cook in Shteba, but I like sensory modes more. I also share soups - pickle, mushroom, pea soup only in Shteba, vegetable soups (such as cabbage soup and borscht) only in Phillips. I am sure that I could cook any dishes and any soups both in one and in another, I just decided for myself - where and what is more convenient and tastier for me to cook
tut123
Anastasenok,
Budget issue
Budget - no more than 15 thousand
not right in the store
- I can also order abroad if there is something unique there
Sedne
And I like meat in pressure cookers and I like pilaf more in pressure cookers (in Shteba, in Ourson) than mulks, although the stadler has the most delicious pilaf of all, she's just a slow cooker. I cook soups depending on what kind of soup, borscht in slow cookers, and legumes, cereals, hodgepodge in pressure cookers. In my humble opinion, the house needs both a pressure cooker and a multicooker.
Anastasenok
tut123, I also have no definite favorite. There is something that tastes better in the Oursson 5015 mini cooker, also meat, many soups, buckwheat for a side dish, except for milk porridge, I like the little phillips 3060, milk porridge in March for three liters, she is the twin of the 15th Panasonic, but the timer is already normal in the programs. Frying. There is also Polaris 0527, I have played enough so far and we rarely cook with such large portions. In my opinion, I would choose two. Kid and 3-4 liters.
Sanya the Bold
Returned again for advice: advise an excellent pressure cooker. Now for myself, for work. The price threshold is 20,000 (no more). We are 6 adult guys. We will cook meat in all variations (next to our service station there is a meat shop). Maybe pilaf.
We need a good, time-tested manufacturer.
About Kuku 1010-until the wife became friends. Judging by the bitten lip when she cooks, she is still disappointed (I know my woman), but she is silent, does not complain.
Larssevsk
Sanya the Bold, take Cook from your wife to work, and buy another one to her liking. You will kill two birds with one stone
Sanya the Bold
How much my wife drank my blood, Larissa, before buying 1010-you can't even imagine !!! : - \ No, let her stay! : spiteful: Yes, and the bowl in it is too small for the six of us. I would use a 5-liter and so that without hemorrhoids and dancing with tambourines. He threw it, left, beeped, they came to eat.

Choosing a multicooker
Since you are unlikely to bake in it, you can buy the first model and a Teflon bowl for it (it will cost about 7-8 thousand), and with the saved money you can buy meat for a month or two
Sanya the Bold
Do not think that if comrade, like me, are interested in such units, do not understand anything about this life, you are mistaken !!!
Olenka, Olyuchnchik (Biryusa), Mercy Huge-ee !!! They hammered into a search engine in the area about Shteba, in our "Sinepupkovskys", not at all, they found in the area DD2- "used for 3000 with a changeable bowl and already late in the evening it was ours !! .. So: Pilaf 5 +++, meat svezhenina +++, ah-ah, put the dough on a biscuit: Eggs-2 pcs, sugar 2 multi-glasses from Shteba, flour 3 multi-glasses, soda probably half a tablespoon, mixed everything for dick, added, vanillin I don't know how much, languor 150, heating I do not know how much, cut it, mixed with condensed milk - (condensed milk in a shaft, next to the Mol-Combine) 5 ++++++ turned out to be high, measured it, 9 cm. Cut into pieces and mixed with boiled dried milk and walnuts! Biryusa, the chef promised a bonus if we continue to feed so deliciously, without leaving the checkout (that is, from the workplace). Ready to cover the clearing !!! Ohrenet, meat with vegetables is ready in 45 minutes !!! deleted Ali Babu !!! Thank you!

Hello! I really need help in choosing a multicooker)) I read Temko, but everyone has their own requirements for the assistant)) So do not blame me for "twenty-five again"
Tax, main criteria:
1. Milk porridge, so as not to boil milk through the steam outlet, was a sad experience with the donated Maxwell and did not burn.
2. Cooking rice. With old Panasonic, there have never been any problems.
3. Stewing meat and vegetables and everything together.
4. And the size, guests are not uncommon with us and sometimes you need to feed the company, so I would like 5 liters

At first I poked my head towards the proven panasoshkas, but something, on new models, they write too much bad about them. And lately such a choice has become huge, that the head is spinning. And the above proposed Shteba interested and Philips HD3167 seemed an interesting option. but what to choose Budget 10-15t. I'll make a reservation right away, I don't use a multicooker for baking at all, here both the oven and the bread maker can do it. Looking forward to advice

You shouldn't want a slow cooker for baking. Some types of baked goods are better in it than in the oven or bread maker.

Hello, help me with the choice of a multicooker, please. The very first I had a Panasonic 18 - she is good to everyone, she cooked buckwheat and milk luxuriously, but forced heating and a blind display just killed me. I took it to the dacha. I bought a replacement Redmond 250 - excellent control, a bunch of convenient settings, the design is modern, but compared to Panasonic it cooks tasteless. Buckwheat is not like that, porridges run away, an eternal pool of water on the rim. No matter how I tinkered with the settings, for two years I did not get such a quality of food as in Panasonic. I got used to the porridge - if you substitute a double boiler, they don't run away. And buckwheat is ordinary, without a wow effect. Now she was leaving for May, and her husband burned Redmond - his porridge ran away so that it was short-circuited. Well, okay, I'm not very upset. But now I can't choose a new multicooker, so that the control is flexible and convenient (and most importantly - with backlight), the design is pleasant, but I cook porridge and buckwheat so that it does the same as Panasonic can do.
Baking, dough proofing, yoghurts and other chips are not really needed - I have a great oven. Frying, stewing are needed. Do I need a pressure cooker - I don't know, I have never used it, I have no idea how necessary it is and whether it is convenient with it. Do I understand correctly at all that a pressure cooker in modern appliances is a function that you can use, or you can cook, as in a regular multicooker, without pressure? Or did I mix and mess everything up?
In appearance and as a first approximation in terms of functionality, I liked Phillips 4749, Orson 5010, Shteba, (in appearance she even liked it the most, but it is very embarrassing that the lid should be put next to it)
Tell me, in which of them buckwheat and porridge are more similar to those that Panasonic does? I will also consider other firms and models, the budget is up to 15000. Thank you!
Helena
Fly in slippers, read about the Panasonic SR-MH 181, you may like it (the display is backlit, but only the heating is not turned off on some programs).

If for those that Panasonic does, then I would take Philips with VitaPlus heating technology. There are sensory programs and bowls are good and the functionality is wonderful.
Irlarsen
I subscribe to the opinion of Larssevsk
If you liked Panasonic, then Shteba will not suit you well. You need a multicooker with touch programs.
In general, I am now in deep thought about advice on choosing a multicooker. I had more than a dozen of them, there are clear selection criteria for myself. And a couple of days ago, my best friend turned to me for help. Her (chosen when by me) stadler broke. And after specifying how she used it, what programs and what specific dishes she cooked, I chose a cartoon for her that I would NEVER buy myself. Moreover, the last one bought by me and dearly beloved, at the moment it costs some ridiculous money (less than 3 thousand at its initial cost of 15). But my friend DOESN'T NEED it !!!!! And she needs the simplest one with a bright screen and voice prompts (he sees badly) a cartoon with a good non-stick bowl (neither ceramics or steel) and with a minimum set of programs.
So everything depends on the person
valushka-s
Irin, I agree with you. It makes no sense to overpay for functions that the hostess will never use. We are all different, habits and needs are different, Not everyone likes to experiment (you can't force my girlfriend! She cooks only a few dishes in the cartoon, and the rest on the stove. It's more convenient for her, but I dream of throwing out the stove, and someday I will definitely throw it out. for me, multi is the same saucepans, only it is easier to regulate the temperature and you can freely leave the kitchen and nothing will burn.), some people just want to come up and press a certain button and get a delicious expected result, and not flip through modes, invent - experiment.
So I decided here to quickly cook lazy stuffed cabbage rolls from Natuli-Chuchelka in a pressure cooker, I had to quickly, but instead of Unit (the simplest, loyal and beloved) I decided to cook in Brand 6051 (and I still cook a little in it, and I can't quite right away to figure out which program for how long ..... have not studied it yet) and how did I mess with pressing buttons in it, then it does not gain pressure on some programs, then it turned on pressure and instead of 30 minutes turned off after a minute and so on different programs and several times, then something else, a very smart and good quickie, but here you just needed a program under pressure, on Unite I would press a button and just leave the kitchen, and that's all, and then dancing with tambourines ...
Rituslya
By the way, here's about ease of use. I am reanimating here my forgotten 550 model Panasonic.
And why did I put it off so undeservedly ?!
Everything is simple, delicate and neat. It is said Compote, so it is compote at the exit.It is said toasting, this is how it roasts, and does not smoke and char. And this is with regards to such programs as Milk Porridge, Pilaf, Buckwheat, Baking, Steaks. I won't write about the rest. Didn't use it.
I probably still have a marriage, but I don't use the Steam and Self-Cleaning program.
A good model if the flaws are fixed.
valushka-s
Ritul, but people are afraid in vain! After all, the main thing is HOW the manufacturer treats his jamb! But Panas did not abandon his consumers, and now people use these cartoons and are satisfied.
Belka13
Irlarsen, I disagree with you. I love Panasonic and Shteba equally dearly.
Fly in slippers
Girls, thanks a lot! An interesting topic, actually. People are all different, and everyone's needs and priorities are also different. For example, I just like to dance over the buttons, I like to experiment with modes and settings - it's the absence of this that infuriates me in Panasonic. I like it when the multicooker looks stylish - you use it almost every day, you don’t remove it from the table, and you don’t want to see a condo bucket in the design of the 2000s in a modern kitchen. This is also why Panas went to the country house. At the same time, I'm not at all a fan of multi, I treat it approximately like a teapot (I mean, like something necessary, but without a cult. By the way, I have a bunch of settings on the teapot)) I cook in it two dozen dishes, not more, the rest is on the stove and in the oven. Well, I just don't see any reason to cook pasta in a cartoon, for example, if the same actions and time are on the stove. But to cook goulash, or cereals - well, do not stand at the stove; without a multicooker there is already no hands)
To be fair, in a simple Panasonic I cooked more often and more varied than in a fancy Redmond with a thousand buttons, simply because the first tastes better)
Here I sit and suffer - how can I combine cool design with good taste, and does the household need a pressure cooker?

Olga, tell me, how much do buckwheat and milk porridge in Shtebe differ from Panasonic?
Belka13
Fly in slippers, unfortunately, I can’t tell you anything about this, because I don’t cook milk porridge, only on water. I like porridge on the water both there and there. And I generally prefer to cook buckwheat only on the stove - there I can regulate the process. All other cereals (rice of any kind, bulgur, spelled, whole oatmeal, wheat, Armenian achar, dzavar and many others) and legumes I cook in the cartoon that is currently free.

And yours is not true, girl. On the stove: put the water on - boiled - poured pasta - brought to a boil - cooked - drained the water - washed the pasta. Almost did not leave the stove.
In the cartoon: I fell asleep pasta - I threw a piece of butter and salt - I filled it with water - I turned on the mode. All!
Feel the difference.

I don’t know, in my slow cooker on the "macaroni" mode you have to wait in the same way until the water boils (it beeps) and the pasta is not as tasty as on the stove when you cook it in a large amount of water. Some of them are slippery from the multicooker. That is, there are almost the same actions as on the stove, but the result is worse. Maybe,my hands are not from the right place I had to adjust, I tried it only once.

This is probably for you, then you need to go to the last Reds. They have both Multipovar and Multichef or something, when in the process you can add and decrease the temperature and time at will.Forgotten something. I sold all of my Reds.
For example, I like the program to live up to its name.
Said Fry, so let it be fry, and not a small rumbling on the Express. Although it will do too.
Belka13
Fly in slippersalmost invisible. The only thing is that the heated porridge in Shteba quickly reaches full readiness than in Panasonic.
Rituslya, I also like the name of the program to match the essence of the process. Otherwise, I don’t feel time saving if I need to conjure-change-adjust.
Irlarsen
Belka13,
And I love them so dearly !!!! More precisely, she loved the staff, she broke down with me. They are just different and the staff cannot be a substitute for Panas

Added Wednesday 18 May 2016 09:10 PM

Fly in slippers,
In the staff, to cook milk porridge and buckwheat, an additional non-stick bowl is needed. Panas is a classic touch prog. Now I just can't (and don't want to) cook rice (there is no buckwheat here, alas) not on a sensory program.
I was very, very pleased with my head. Still would. How much work did I spend on its delivery from Moscow to my place in Denmark !!!! But this is a pressure cooker. Nice pressure cooker with extra features.

But about the pasta. I probably have old ideas about cooking them on the stove, but I cooked them on the stove like this. Water boils, throw pasta. After a strictly defined time, turn off and drain, that is, there is an extra object for washing and a rather inconvenient process of draining, and all this time you will not leave the kitchen, unless you are away for a while
In the cartoon: Throw in pasta, fill it with water, press a button and leave. Come to dinner

Having danced with the programs, now I just write the programs myself in polaris 125
New favorite toy. I threw the products, closed the lid, sat down on a soft sofa and a prog on the iPad and wrote, well, or used my own previously created one. And in general, I'm tired of beeping with these buttons, poke them poke until you reach the desired program or temperature (in 1 degree increments). Whether it's on the screen, but on the couch
Belka13
IrinaWhat a pity that your Shtebochka broke and there is no buckwheat! Although there are also many varieties of rice, they will not have time to get bored. I've just never tried a stove in Shteba yet. Panasonic is very good in this regard.

Maryana, for the first multicooker it will work fine Panasonic SR-MHS181WTQ... There are sensory programs, and multi-cook, and without unnecessary bells and whistles.

Please advise the first multicooker.
The rented apartment does not have an oven. If possible, I would like to replace it with a multicooker, at least withaboutmore. Well, the standard set, like cooking porridge, etc. Yogurt and bread will not be superfluous.
I am very skeptical about Redmond / Polaris, etc., based on the experience of working with their other products. I would like something of the "brands". Would buy a Panasonic SR-MHS181WTQ, but we have it for $ 100 +. After 4000r in M-Video, the hand will not rise so much to overpay with us
There is an opportunity to bring something from Poland, but, apparently, they have even less choice than we have: Redmonds and Philips generally (Philips HD3037 / 70 is very popular - $ 75).
