Homemade cake with marshmallow and sour cream

Ingredients

Biscuit 1 PC.
marshmallow white, vanilla 4 things.
thick sour cream from 25% fat 400-450 gr.
powdered sugar 2-3 st. l.
prunes 70-100 gr.
chocolate 90-100 gr.
instant gelatin 1 tbsp. l.
hot water 50-70 ml.

Cooking method

  • Any non-chocolate biscuit can be taken for this recipe. I got an Angela sponge cake here Sponge roll, but cooked with others, always delicious.
  • Cut the biscuit into two parts. Divide the marshmallow into 2 halves and cut each half into three more washers.
  • Thoroughly wash the prunes, dry them, cut them into small pieces at random.
  • Dissolve gelatin according to the instructions.
  • Gently mix the sour cream and icing sugar (do not beat), add the loose gelatin, pouring it in a thin stream and stirring continuously. We send the sour cream for 10-20 minutes to the refrigerator for cooling.
  • We assemble the cake in a split form: lay out one part of the biscuit, spread this part with a thin layer of cream, lay out parts of the marshmallows on it, sprinkle with prunes and fill with the remaining cream, lay out the second part of the biscuit on top and leave the cake in the refrigerator overnight (for soaking and setting the layers) ...
  • We release our cake from the mold, fill it with melted chocolate and cool until it solidifies.
  • We cut and enjoy. Bon Appetit!

The marshmallow partially dissolves, it also depends on the marshmallow itself, it happens that the oak one comes across, so it is not so, of course, it dissolves strongly, well, and sour cream does not thicken much with so much gelatin, so it floats a little, but it tastes very tender.
The sponge cake in the photo is completely according to Angela's recipe, for 6 eggs, you can make a smaller one, of course, it will just come out thinner, but, as for me, the ratio of cake-filling is just right. And each half of the marshmallow is cut into three plates, so I also overlap them.
