Note

A few words from myself Blackcurrant and raspberry jam... It turns out a very interesting taste, although there seems to be nothing special in the composition, well, maybe only wine. Last year I brewed it twice, the first time according to the original recipe, and the second time, the wine was replaced with the juice of their dark grapes. I liked both options, but with the wine more spicy Blackcurrant and raspberry jam.

I cooked such confiture on homemade wine, well, very spicy !! I had no idea that something delicious could be made from black currant !! And with ice cream m .. m ... THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!

The only necessary condition: there must be labels on the cans, where it is written that these are berries in wine, otherwise my grandmother was afraid that the jam was "fermented"

Thanks again !! For me this jam has become traditional in the family, I cooked it with different wines, I began to add to the gag: a piece of cinnamon stick and a clove .. for a mulled wine aroma
this year I added more raspberries (300 g of raspberries and 450 currants, respectively)

Little one! I bring you one more "thank you" True, I, as always, with my "variations on the theme".

So, I took raspberries and black currants equally, added wine, boiled them. I looked at what happened and realized that neither raspberry nor black currant bones please me. So I passed everything through an auger juicer, got skins and bones separately, and everything else separately. Weighed the puree, added the same amount of gelling sugar, boiled it down and poured it into jars. Husband appreciated and approved!

What does red strong wine mean? Is it a sweet, semi-sweet or dry wine, maybe a liqueur?

Crochet
Ludmila, any red fortified wine.

I took semi-sweet).

Now I would choose a dry one), there will be more sourness.

Oh, thank you, there is dry food, I'll go cook!
