Ingredients

wheat flour 2.5 cups *
cane sugar 1 glass
softened butter 1 pack. (170-180 g)
chicken egg С0 1 PC.
dark molasses (cane molasses) 3/4 cup
baking powder 2 tsp
ground ginger 1 tsp
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
ground cloves 1/2 tsp
salt 1 pinch
* 1 glass = 240 ml

Cooking method

  • I will warn you right away: if you, like me, have cheekbones from sugary desserts, do not put sugar in the dough !!! We use it only for sprinkling.
  • Go!
  • We prepare all the ingredients to be at hand.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 gr. FROM.
  • We mix flour, baking powder, salt, spices.
  • We leave 1/3 of the sugar for forming cookies, pour it into any container convenient for you.

  • Beat the softened butter with a mixer with the rest of the sugar (this is only for notorious sweet tooths!), Or without sugar (for everyone else) until an airy homogeneous consistency.

  • Pour the flour mixture into the oil mixture, 1/3 each. Mix at low speed each time until smooth.

  • We scoop up the mixture with a measuring spoon (for ice cream or ~ = 2 tbsp. L.), Pour into sugar, roll, roll into balls at the same time, spread on a baking sheet with non-greased baking paper, flattening the balls. Place on a baking sheet at a distance of ~ 5 cm from each other.

  • We bake in the oven for 9-10 minutes (Anna recommends) or 20 minutes if, like me, you have 24 cookies, not 36 like Anna's. It's a strange thing ... Our spoons were the same, but the cookies were different in size ... Anna was cunning when she dispensed the cookies.
  • Cool the prepared cookies on the wire rack.

  • Help yourself!
  • unless, of course, nothing sticks together ...

Nata, this is just for me, I'd rather eat 1 sweet piece than 10 savory ones from the same dough. Real Christmas baked goods! Merry Christmas!
