Ingredients

baking powder 1 tsp
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
ground cardamom 0.5 tsp
flour 300 gr.
transparent colored lollipops 15 pcs

Cooking method

  • I changed the dough a little, put other spices and added a spoonful of melted honey, everyone likes the honey taste.
  • Cooking like this:
  • 1. Put butter and sugar in a bowl and beat. Beat the egg gradually, then sift the flour, cinnamon, cardamom, mix with baking powder. Knead the dough.
  • 2. Place the dough on a floured table, knead slightly, roll into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 3. Preheat the oven to 180 g С / 350 F / Gas 4. Sprinkle the table surface with flour, knead a little more, then roll 3/4 of the dough with a rolling pin in flour to a thickness of 3 mm.
  • 4. Lay baking sheets with parchment.
  • Cut out different shapes with molds (I have Christmas trees, bells, hearts and balls).
  • 5. Transfer to a baking sheet and cut out the windows with smaller molds. Make a small hole at the top of each cookie.

  • Cool in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, then bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, put the pieces of lollipops in the holes and bake for another 5 minutes, until the lollipops melt.

I cooked cookies with lollipops - traffic lights, houses, etc. Very impressive, but there are two points. 1. A fairly solid mixture is formed in the place where the candy and cookies "adhere". 2. Cookies in no case should be overexposed, even for a few seconds - otherwise the lollipops will overheat, may lose color and become very tough.

So we didn't overexpose, just 5 minutes. I have a timer on the oven - everything was done on time!

And I this is a cookie I bake both dough and candies at the same time. And, since I have less dough, and more candies, I keep it in the oven for 10 minutes, no more. And I take not only transparent lollipops, I also get an interesting effect - frosted glass.
