  • This is not to say that in the rest of Germany it was supposed to keep a pile of dirt in front of the house and not to mow the lawn, but that on Saturday morning a man with a broom would appear in front of every (indeed, in front of every) house ...
  • You will not see this anywhere else in Germany: every Saturday everyone sweeps the street in front of their house. In the garden every bush is trimmed, every blade of grass is smoothed. But you will hardly see someone who sits in the garden for pleasure in the summer.
  • And what to sit around, the Swabians think: “We are here, tea, not in Bavaria - we have to work. Both in the house (“ hoisle ”) and in the city (“ shtetl ”) there are things to do. ".
  • In the Swabian dialect, a diminutive is attached to almost every word - the affectionate suffix "le", understandable to every German, but not used anywhere except Swabia.
  • And I was very imbued with such hardworking Swabians, and the chicken recipe is very close to us, especially its filling and the recipe was intriguingly called: "Chicken - 7 Swabs". Again, the preparation is very simple.
  • 1. Wash the chicken, dry it and grate with nutmeg, basil, salt and pepper.
  • 2. Boil the noodles. I have spaghetti today, and it would be great with homemade noodles.
  • 3. Chop the onion, liver and mushrooms. Fry in butter for 7 to 8 minutes. Add a couple of tablespoons of water and simmer for 1 - 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Swabian chicken

  • Sew up or fasten with toothpicks, coat with butter and wrap in cooking sleeve or foil.
  • 5. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 1.5 hours. Remove the foil 30 minutes before the end of cooking and bake until golden brown.
