We need a white loaf with a dense structure, since the loose loaf will quickly get wet and crumble. I prefer the factory near Moscow.
I have a form from the Ashanovsky frying pan for a princess, but you can fry right in the princess.
Even, rather, it turns out not to fry, but to bake.
So, I lay out the slices of the loaf tightly according to the princess / shape in order to fill the area as much as possible, like a mosaic of them back and forth, so that they fit better.
The uniform and princeska are non-stick, so I don't grease them with anything.
In a bowl, beat 1 egg with a fork, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. sugar, milk about 1/2 - 3/4 cup (depending on the amount of bread, that is, the size of the mold). The same principle can be used for the classic charlotte pie:
