I'll take a look tomorrow. On Roasting, the default time is 40 minutes.
This program seemed to me similar to extinguishing, only quite active. In the old Panasonic, for cabbage rolls, peppers, there was not enough power for stewing, I first brought it to a boil in the Steam cooking mode, and then switched to stewing mode, and now you can go to Roasting for 30-40 minutes and it will be ready.
I also wanted to cook pasta nests with minced meat yesterday, but I was afraid. I cooked them in the old way in the pilaf mode, filled the nests with minced meat with cream and water and the Pilaf mode. And in this Panasonic it seemed that this program is slow, m. on Krupa better. Therefore, I did not dare to experiment, I cooked it in SV, I did it there before.
In general, with this MV, there is a wide field for experiments, there is not enough time, all modes are quickly tested.

That would be great. In my old Panas, I had the same algorithm, it was not always convenient.

Hello, take me into your ranks, today I became the proud owner of the latest Panasonic model. And immediately I cooked pilaf, everything is super, crumbly rice, 4 cups of rice were cooked for 30 minutes, the beef meat is soft, it turned out delicious. Now about the shortcomings, in the last minutes the liquid began to spit out into the valve, all this joy ran through the body, and this is half of the trouble, they wiped it with a cloth and that's it, but when after cooking I removed the removable lid, the remnants of the liquid dripped under the heater, and removed them from there not easy. In previous models, this did not happen at all. This is my first testing, yogurt is planned tomorrow, but again it is necessary to catch the end of the program so that the heating does not turn on. According to the instructions, it does not turn off. I think that these are all the shortcomings of this model and further the mule will only please.
julia_bb
Great, congratulations on your purchase! The girls in the topic have already repeatedly wrote that after the "yogurt" mode the heating will not turn on - so there is no need to watch anything!
Elena_
Yes, I read the whole topic, but the first time I’m afraid to spoil it, so that I’ll watch, what if something’s wrong
Elena_
And another question, who made the yoghurt water should be poured into the pan?
Roza_Irina
Lena, welcome! Let the assistant only make you happy! I did not understand why something started to spit out in your pilaf mode, and even in the last minutes. Pilaf at the end no longer has liquid, it has all evaporated and the process of frying is in progress.
I made yogurt: I poured water down and put the jars on a stand. But I had a lot of condensation on the lid when I opened it. Therefore, I don't do it anymore. It was purely an experiment for me. I cook where I can get it flawlessly. Read the topic, they cooked there and right in the bowl. as anyone is comfortable.
Elena_
I made pilaf for 4 tablespoons of rice, 6 water, I got a wonderful pilaf in the old cartoon, this one also worked very well, but 10 minutes before the end, I began to spit out water, I don't know why, I must probably reconsider the amount of products. I will put yogurt at night and an alarm clock in the morning to see how the program ends.
Roza_Irina
Lena, the yogurt program does not go over to heating! No need to set an alarm, sleep well!
Of course, it's not clear about the pilaf, but I have never cooked it in such volumes.
Elena_
There is no yogurt program in Panasonic, only a multi-cook, so I'm afraid
Roza_Irina
Lena, well, I meant these 40 *. If I was not sure, I would not have written to you.
Elena_
Thanks for the tip, tomorrow I will report for the yogurt.
Elena_
The yogurt turned out super, the cartoon did not get up in the heating, it turned off and that's it, now I'm preparing a double dish in a double boiler with cutlets with cheese, potatoes in a pot for mashed potatoes, steaming mode 25 minutes
Elena_
It turned out well, very tasty and did not cook for a long time, in short, the mules and I practically found each other, I’m still thinking about the Moulinex 4000 pressure cooker.I’ll think about it for another 30 minutes and go buy it, then I’ll be ready for anything
julia_bb
Oh well, it's great that everything worked out for you)) On the contrary, I have a slow-cooker pressure cooker, but I don't have a sensory MV yet, but I'll buy Panasik by summer))
Sun4
Girls, I bought the same model of the multicooker last night. Before that, there was none. Please tell me there is no "milk porridge" mode in which mode to cook it?
Sun4
And how do you cook the soup on the "soup" or "stew" mode? And how are they different?
Roza_Irina

Congratulations! If you carefully read the instructions, then milk porridge is a porridge mode. It even says what ratio to take.
The soup on the soup is being prepared, the stewing mode will be quieter.
Elena_
I have been friends with Panasonic for a long time, now I have two of them, but I haven’t come across Moulinex yet, but I think everything will work out, the main thing is to say the magic word "cook pot" and go go about your business.

Yes, I read it, of course, but many write that the instructions contain the wrong recipes, so I wanted to find out, it just indicated that oatmeal 1 multi-glass for 3.5 milk - and how about oatmeal? I'll find it all right on the Internet in recipes.

Why on the Internet? There is a whole forum with recipes and you can always clarify something from the author.
Sun4
Well, yes - I meant here on the forum :-)) Can you still tell me exactly for this model how to prepare oatmeal - the ratio of milk and cereal and do you pour water?
Sun4
And what is the difference between the express, frying and baking modes - in the instructions I did not find how many degrees on which program. What is better to fry on?
Galin
Since the first MV appeared, I have been preparing only natural oatmeal, I don’t recognize cereals, so I cannot give advice on oatmeal.
Regarding the modes of frying, baking express, too, so far I can not say anything in detail, I did the steaming of vegetables in the frying mode, I liked it, it turns out what I need, I think it is possible on the express, but I have not yet reached it. On baking I will cook something flour (some kind of cake, I will bake bread).
I cooked cabbage soup - I tried Stew and Soup. Stewing works in a completely different way than in the old Panasonic, it picks up the temperature more actively and boils so much, but at the same time, the broth did not turn out to be overcooked, the vegetables and potatoes were not boiled. It doesn't seem so fast on Soup, but all the same, this program is more active than Stewing in the old model. I liked both options. Probably, if you need to quickly, then you can cook the first one on the Stew, and if the beef broth, you can't cook it faster, then it's better on the Soup mode. And yet, in the extinguishing mode, condensation accumulates and when you open the lid, it flows onto the side, but in the Soup mode, there is no condensation, I was very surprised that the lid was dry.
Prepared a duet dish. I cooked rice in a bowl, and in a steam basket, salmon steaks, with vegetables + spices + mayonnaise + cheese. Buckwheat mode. Rice was 1.5 multi-glasses + 3 m / st of water. I was prepared to wait about an hour, as in the old model, and MV in exactly 20 minutes. I prepared this portion. The rice turned out to be very tasty, crumbly (I had a long-grain Mistral company) and the fish was steamed. There was also no condensation on the lid and there was practically no steam from the valve either.
So far, I have not prepared many dishes, but everything I did turned out to be excellent. MV continues to delight, all modes that I managed to use, I like it, I will continue to cook, share my impressions.
Svetlana R
Last week we got this MV, but we didn't even have time to get it out of the box until the weekend. On Saturday morning they made rice porridge, everything was laid according to the norms, but the porridge at the end of its regime was not ready - the rice was still floating in milk. We left it on heating, the porridge "reached" and even became a bit thick.
They put millet porridge at night, taking into account that the porridge would stand on heating for another two hours. Also cool. The husband did not eat milk porridge at all, from childhood he was scared, but he liked these.

I began to make pilaf, fry the meat for 40 minutes on frying, but it is still tough, I think, well, it won't be ready in an hour. I put it on for extinguishing. It's late, I'll probably fill up the rice and put a reprieve for the morning.
And how do you do if the meat is tough?
Sun4
Now my impressions - as I said, I bought this model late Thursday evening. I chose for a long time and settled on a firm, reliable in my opinion, Panasonic. Tanya Mona1 advised me this device, for which I am very grateful to her, since I have never had a multicooker - this is the first one :-) Well, over these days I cooked - the first is buckwheat in buckwheat mode 2 mst for 4 ml of water - excellent - better than on the stove! Time is about 40 minutes. Then I cooked the meat in onion skins on the "stewing" mode - kept it for 2 hours - on this mode, how many times I opened the lid - boiling, as I was used to, there was hot water and barely noticeable one gurgle here and there. But in 2 hours the meat per hundred kilo (pork) was the softest. And very delicious! Then I made soup with homemade noodles - I specially made frying on express mode - then I continued to fry and then bake, I did not understand the difference yet. I poured everything with water and put it on the "soup" mode at first I thought that it would never boil in my life - it’s too long to wait. Now I understand - no need to wait - I closed it and go :-)))) Soup in this mode has more pronounced gurgles than on "stewing" but does not boil. For 1.5 hours I got ready perfectly - I did not remove the noise as it simply was not there. The vegetables are not boiled, the broth is transparent. It turned out delicious, no worse than on the stove, but no fuss. Do not wash the stove - if it runs away, do not wash the pan after frying, do not monitor the gas. Then I made a compote, respectively, in the "compote" mode - this is where the seething is so bubbling - it boils like on a stove, I made it from dried fruits for 1.5 hours. I immediately threw in dried fruits and sugar and frozen berries (next time, in view of the preservation of vitamins, I will put frozen ones much later). The compote came out excellent. Again, do not wait like on the stove for something to boil or run away. Then I cooked the whole chicken on the "bake" mode for an hour. After 30 minutes I opened it to turn it over - I was sure that I would see it boiled. And in a miracle saucepan lay a chicken with a beautiful fried crust. I turned it over and forgot for another 30 minutes. As I opened it - a delicious and juicy chicken !!! And beautiful! Immediately in the juice and fat from the chicken I put the potatoes cut into large bars on the "baking" after 30 minutes I opened the stir bar - I was waiting for a delicious potato fried to a crust, like in an oven!
I will try further :-) While I am very surprised, I did not think it would be so convenient.

And according to the "norms" is it from the instructions or recipes on the site?
Galin
And I have the impression that stewing is a more active program than Soup. But in principle, it is not so important, and there and there everything is cooked well.
It's nice to read the positive reviews about the device, I liked it too.
And I cooked milk porridge in the old Panasonic on the timer, the program ended, it seemed that the porridge was thin, but when stirring, it became a normal consistency, while they were going to the table, it stood for another 30 minutes on the Heating (I always give the porridge 30 minutes to stand on Heating), during this time it became even thicker and the required density was obtained. I took the proportions of 1 m / st of cereal + 1 liter of milk.
Svetlana R
Galin also came to the conclusion that it is necessary to make a glass per liter of milk.

Sun4, according to the norms, according to the instructions.
Sun4
Nowhere did I find information about temperature conditions. In this regard, the instruction is not very finalized. This is not only a question - what is the difference between the "express", "baking" and "toasting" modes and where is the temperature higher? And already and - what is the difference between the "Pilaf" mode and the "Buckwheat" mode In both modes, the function of evaporating water is ... What is the difference between "soup" and "stewing" - what is the temperature on them? I called the hotline, the operator girl told me that there is no such data, try to understand by trial. This is absolutely childish babble - for such a reliable and serious company as panasonic. I'll do it, but really it was impossible to prescribe in the instructions
Sun4
Svetlana R:
In almost no multicooker I understood that there are no normal instructions. All the negative reviews that we read - they were all prepared according to the recipe book.
Roza_Irina
Express mode is needed for quick preparation of porridge for a side dish, as I understand it in small portions. Evaporates liquid very intensively. That is, like the same buckwheat, only set the time yourself. And this mode is also for delicate frying of vegetables, as I wrote in the previous Panasonic, but I even fried potatoes and cutlets on it, because there was no frying there.
Pilaf differs from buckwheat in that, having evaporated all the liquid, it roasts for the last 10 minutes.
Sun4
Well, thank you!!! And then from Panasonic replied that they can say that only baking is 180 degrees. Now I cooked porridge in the mode "porridge" oat milk - the recipe, of course, from the girls, and not from the instructions) turned out perfect. Milk didn't run away (Ugh-ugh)
Roza_Irina
Anna, there can be no 180 * on baked goods. There is no such temperature on baked goods, this is not an oven. There are baked goods somewhere between 110-120 *. If it were 180, then we would have fried fries already. And so there it will have to fry for an hour. Here, baked goods are at a lower temperature than frying.

Dear Anna,
Thank you for choosing and using Panasonic technology!

Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with an answer to the merits of the question, since the manufacturer in the multicooker specification does not indicate information about what temperature is used in what mode.
The maximum temperature of the heater is 180 degrees (in baking mode).

These are the managers in Panasonic)) But to be honest, I got potatoes with a crust on the baked goods in exactly 30 minutes (not fries, of course), but on the frying I even fried vegetables for about 20 minutes until I switched to baking ... but maybe the fact was that she was frozen at first. We must try something else one more time.
Roza_Irina
On my fry, the potatoes also fried in 30 minutes, but with the lid closed. When I tried it open, it’s generally a feeling that it’s not fried. But on the other hand, I like to cook potatoes in Swedish on this mode. And it is fried and has time to fully cook. It takes 40 minutes (20 on each side).
Sun4
How is it in Swedish?
Sun4
Thank you!

Hello everyone)) Take it into your ranks, now I am also a happy owner of a Panasonic SR-MHS181 multicooker. I do not like to cook, at all (I cook without enthusiasm) and we bought a multicooker at the insistence of my husband. I became interested and I tried this miracle technique, and I liked it. Bought yesterday. I was a little upset that the bowl had an unpleasant smell. Since this is the first multicooker in our house, I didn't know what to do with it. I turned to the internet. And as most have tried the "Steam" mode with half a lemon, the smell has noticeably weakened. And tonight I felt like a cook with pleasure)) Having opened a book with recipes for this multicooker, I found a recipe for frying chicken and, having changed some details, cooked a chicken in sweet and sour sauce. It turned out really very, very tasty !! Now I want to cook something else as soon as possible !! I am looking for interesting recipes for this multicooker, who has, please share)) By the way, the chicken from the bowl did not acquire any foreign smell
Sun4
Look here on the forum - in a search engine, enter for example "potatoes in a slow cooker" and a bunch of recipes will come out. I would not recommend using a recipe book
Alexandra29
Thank you, I will take your advice.
Sun4
I just bought the same last week - I went through all these questions myself - you ask what you want to cook, I'll write the recipes. Today I baked apples in baked goods - just nyaka.
Alexandra29
Share the recipe soon.
Sun4
Yes, as in the oven - I cut out the holes at the beginning of the apples - the stub itself so that it does not damage the bottom - although it’s not scary to put mixed sugar and cinnamon into the hole. While doing all this - put the cartoon on the baking mode - put a little butter on the bottom - by default, as it stood for 40 minutes, I did not vary. Just about 5 minutes warmed up. I threw the apples into the cartoon, closed them and took them out as they squeaked - put them on a plate - poured them with juice-glaze from multi (at the bottom there is glass from apples) Delicious !!!

Good afternoon everyone! Please share who uses what rice for pilaf in this MB. I love this dish very much, but in MV it always turns out to be different for me - sometimes a little dry, then on the contrary a little smeared. I always take the ratio of water to rice 1: 1 (according to the advice here on the forum)
Sun4
So far no one has answered, I will say that they advise on all forums - they mainly advise Rice Mistral steamed long-grain Indica Gold

Multicooker with multi-cooker Panasonic SR-MHS181

I bought - but have not tried it yet - I want it on the weekend, I'll tell you later.
Sun4
Today I tried the steaming mode - I immediately cooked beets, carrots, potatoes and even eggs for herring under a fur coat in a tray. I just took out everything in turn. It's actually a very handy thing)
RepeShock

I don't like parboiled rice. I love pilaf with ordinary Krasnodar rice. Manufacturers are different.
