Hello) I am choosing a pressure cooker, and now I'm completely confused))) While the choice is between polaris 0305 and Redmond 4506 and 4507, I like Polaris so much, but I read that it burns to the bowl (((is it true? And in redmond, the bowl seems to be good, but I don't know, we now have Redmond on a special offer, it turns out cheaper than polaris. Maybe you can advise me something, my head is already boiling))) This will be my first pressure cooker, and there is no multicooker. Perhaps there are owners of both)))

AAA, I recognize myself 1.5 years ago. There were also such torments of choice. Lena-Shelena advised me then Polaris, she even wrote (or threw off the link) on the comparison of Redmond and Polaris ... Redmond is inferior to Paul.
And in the end, my husband gave me Polaris. I haven’t regretted for a single day that I had Polya, and not some other pressure cooker ... I love her!
Shelena
Olya, while I was looking for this link, you already wrote.

Jeannecheck out the comparison between Redmond 4507 and Polaris 0305 at this link:

Perhaps this will help you in your choice.

But I think differently
I wrote a post, then went to look for a link, found it ... (link), and here it is already there!
But I re-read my messages, how long did I choose this device ... and once again I realized that I am very grateful to you!

... h. s. I have a pressure cooker and a slow cooker. I bought it almost at the same time ... At first I used two devices, now, only a pressure cooker. Saving time ...
Shelena
Olenka, thank you for these words! I am incredibly pleased ...
I also love our pressure cooker very much. Miss you (we are now apart from her)... I already want to cook something new.
Zannetochka
Thank you very much))) Went to read) My soul is closer to her, but I'm afraid for the saucepan, just if the food sticks around, it will discourage me from cooking in it. How do you like her saucepan?)
Shelena
Jeanne, I also have a stainless steel, but I still use my own saucepan every day.
If you do not fry in it often, then it will last a long time.
Zannetochka
Zannetochka
Well, as a beginner in this business, I can cope with it, in addition to the program in it, you also need to choose pressure
Zannetochka
And also, how do you like baking in it, porridge? And pilaf, this is my favorite dish, how does it turn out delicious ???
thet
And I can only say good things about this pressure cooker, although I recently had it - two months. I just adore it - it cooks very quickly, quietly, no quirks and I have no complaints about the bowl. And I have something to compare with Unit and Ourson 5002. If Unit passed both in a row under warranty - apparently there was a defective batch, then Ourson after working for a year failed due to a breakdown of a plastic part in the valve. In Polaris, the system is very simple and reliable. The lid is conveniently attached to the handle. Outwardly, too, very pretty. Of the minuses, I would note a few tight buttons and the fact that when you turn off the program, the display does not show pressure. But the more than affordable price covers these little things.
thet
I often cook porridge in it. Always great. The lid is clean. And fast.
Zannetochka
Thank you, pleased)

Just yesterday, a friend said that a socket for a wire inside a multi had fallen into her Redmond. And Redmond is only half a year old! No, that doesn't mean Redmond is bad, maybe just a coincidence. But fact is fact. But none of the girls wrote such "quirks" from Paul
Zannetochka
I'm falling in love with her more and more)))

Zannetochka
Thank you) Found it already, read a lot, beauty!
Shelena
Not so scary anymore?
Zannetochka
yeah, while the unit itself is not there, everything just seems to be, but in fact I will be afraid to approach it, probably)
Shelena
Well, the first day will probably be scary. Then take it easy.

So, you need to buy it for some kind of celebration. It turned out like this: it was my husband's birthday, and on the eve they bought a multicooker, but there was no time to try it. And it turned out that there will be more guests than we expected. And I cooked pilaf in it at my own peril and risk. Immediately, on the move, without any preliminary "I'm afraid, I'm afraid". The pilaf was great! The guests appreciated. So everything will work out for you!
Zannetochka
well, apparently it will work out, now I will buy it, but I will dare to approach her when the situation already forces)))
Zannetochka
girls, and someone knows about Moulinex 4000, they praised him again, they confused him, and I almost made up my mind and offered Redmond 110 with a good discount
Zannetochka
You can also ask a question) for this model is there a ceramic bowl in Ukraine?
Zannetochka
And yet, does he eat a lot of electricity?)

if you pour boiling water over everything, you practically don't eat at all! Even if you pour cold water, the electricity bills are unlikely to change .. I have not changed at all. )

I totally agree with inka_kot! What eats? ... the riddle is straight ...
Zannetochka
Thank you) I am very glad))) because today I still bought it))) I don’t know from which side to approach it and where to start) water, on which program, I did not find this in the instructions. And what to cook for a start to make it work)

Everyone starts with lemon soup ... the ratio of water and lemon is arbitrary (I threw 1/2 lemon in half a bowl of water) ... SOUP mode, respectively, pressure 2, well, time 20 minutes. Yes, any recipe from the forum for this model. ... I really like Shelena's pilaf!
Zannetochka
Thank you, but interestingly, can you replace lemon with citric acid?
And I also ran into a problem, there is a sticker on the bottom of the bowl, but I can't wash it, I took off the paper itself, and there is still a little glue left, did someone have that?
Zannetochka
I am reporting) I walked around, walked around the bush, could not figure out what to cook, as a result I decided to cook from what was in the refrigerator) It turned out to be a vegetable stew-roast with chicken felle. And I didn’t dream that the first time and even guessing something would work out, but it turned out very tasty) I didn’t know which mode to set until I understand what the difference is between them, only in time or is it different? Well, I chose "buckwheat", looked at Anechka T's Vegetable stew with pork, decided that it was a bit similar, but why buckwheat did not understand, but chose) And I set the time for 15 minutes, so I chose to guess, blew off steam right away, imagined this business much worse, but in fact it's okay)
Zannetochka
Yeah, there was no lemon at home, I boiled plain water, so easy to see how the device works in the hope of boiling it with lemon later, but it never came to lemon) ... but nothing smells of plastic)
Zannetochka
I can't find the recipe for pilaf, knowing what I saw, but I can't find it ... help)

Time with pork and chicken too, but I don't know about beef and everything else.
Zannetochka
Thank you) There was beef, put it on for 15 minutes, everything turned out very tasty)

Who can tell which recipes from which pressure cooker are suitable for ours, so that by time and programs it is more or less clear
Zannetochka
Thank you
Zannetochka
The girls seem to have read that charlotte can be cooked under pressure, it seems on rice for 8 minutes, or I'm confusing something) Has anyone tried to cook this way?
Zannetochka
Well, maybe someone will come in handy) I decided to take a chance. First I put it on rice for 10 minutes, the valve is closed, but it was damp, I delivered it for another 10 minutes. Everything worked out, I even baked it a little, I can put it on for 15 minutes) I think it turned out even a little higher than on baked goods)

Girls, and no one made eggplant sauté in a pressure cooker in ours ??? I came here from vacation - I see eggplants are sold in tons and for a penny. I decided to organize a shop for stopping a saute in the kitchen.
In short, I overcooked everything, put it in a pressure cooker - stewing mode. And it does not block the valve, but the countdown starts. Steam comes out of the lock while the time is counting down. I open the lid, stir it, close it - it blocks it the second time. So I, in the sense of a saute, closed it for two days. That is, not an isolated case. I closed the lid twice each time. Saute turns out to be unrealistically tasty in a pressure cooker, better than on the stove or in the oven, but why does it block so badly - Little liquid?

PS: with the rest of the modes and products, everything is ok.
Zannetochka, Thank you! Just tomorrow I'm going to bake a charlotte - I'll try it on rice.

inka_kot
Zannetochka, is the lid blocked on the rice?
I put the charlotte on the rice, the lid did not lock, but the countdown began. I opened the lid and looked, thought that there was no point in this idea and put it on baking.

inka_kot, I had this when I stewed cabbage (carcass without water).

Yeah. So, after all, there is not enough liquid ... Although later, when the saute is extinguished, the liquid is already normal. ) What to think of?

Sveta, and I add 100 grams of liquid to the cabbage and on the Legumes mode - it turns out super.

Hurray, the dacha is over! I returned to my Polechki. Tell me a delicious pumpkin recipe
