Good afternoon! First, a little background. In March, I ordered and bought Ellron 50 at a pleasant price of 5 590 rubles. However, during the tests, with a simple sealing, the pump still started to work, which, in my humble understanding, should not be. I asked here an immodest question to the owners of Ellrona 50: "How are they doing with the pump?" I was puzzled, scratched my head for a long time and asked the same question to the authority -
Shtebovich... Who kindly checked the device in the warehouse and stated in surprise that the pump hums when sealing, but it seems like it shouldn't. He even wrote a request to the manufacturer, which answered him that everything was in order, but without specifics. In the same store I tried to change it to a new device, but it also had a working pump. Money back. I wanted to try CASO TouchVAC (this is a complete analogue), but the touch buttons were pushed away.
There would be no happiness, but misfortune helped! Quite by accident, a new joyful period in life began: in the topic "Kitchen trivia"
Svetlana777 told about her purchase - DZ-280 / 2SE packer. Yes, and gave a reference to Ali. There was a special offer, the price was delicious - 3,400 rubles. with delivery. And they brazenly lied that they were being expelled from Russia!
And since I never had and never had a tambourine, and I also had no desire to dance with it when using smooth bags, my mind succumbed to temptations:
- low discount price;
- the price of packages is almost an order of magnitude cheaper than corrugated ones;
- the ability to evacuate products with moisture in a package, and even in general it is possible to evacuate liquid;
- very fast delivery, judging by the reviews - a few days.
And at my personal, even not at all insistent request (I tried to persuade Ellron to buy for a long time), my spouse, as an active user of Ali, ordered the DZ-280 / 2SE.
The first three temptations turned out to be real, and the fourth - a beautiful fairy tale! As the seller later wrote that the type in Russia ended, so we are sending them from the Middle Kingdom. But on the site, there was a catch about fast delivery: 5-15 days.
So, fate recommended to me both in "Operation" Y "to" practice on kitties ", because with all my soundness of reasoning, it is difficult to guess how much the packer will be in demand in a single strong cell of society! debate!
By tracking: ordered on April 6, April 12, the parcel arrived in Finka, arrived in Moscow on the afternoon of April 24, and we received it only
at 1:00 am 04/26/17, moreover, if they hadn't kicked our "beloved" EMS, they would have delivered it a couple of days later.
Anyway. Wait.
1) Appearance for an amateur (Ellron was a beauty, which is important). The color of the body matches in our home only with the plastic ironing spray!
2) WORKS !!! In terms of functions, it meets expectations.
3) I'll tell you right away. When using it, several nuances must be taken into account. And then everything will be all right.
- only smooth bags are suitable.Since the air is pumped out through the nipple (flat tube in the center), then the grooved air will be sucked in from the outside along the entire strip between the rubber bands. This is my guess, I don't have corrugated packages. Other owners say the same though.
- the location of the DZ-280 / 2SE and other vacuumizers (which most of them have) of the pressure bands and sealing strips is exactly the opposite (we look from the edge of the package: DZ-280 / 2SE: the seam is the pressure bands, for ordinary ones - the opposite) It turns out that the seam of the DZ-280 / 2SE is located only about 1.3 cm from the edge. The usual ones are much further. Therefore, the second control seam is not very convenient, but possible. 1.3 cm is not enough to calmly expand and boil again, and if boil further from the edge behind the first seam, it is necessary that there are no creases and folds.
- when evacuating, you need to place the product in the bag as close to the nipple as possible, otherwise the inner walls will stick together and there will be no air pumping;
- seam width 4 mm, the seam is quite neat;
- you set the sealing time manually every second from 0 to 9. For "Metro" (or Metrovsky - as you like) packages (100 pcs. = 265 rubles) I installed 3 seconds, that's enough, more is worse. But, I read on one site, the owner of the same vacuum cleaner says about 5-6 seconds. I must say that the real time, at least for me, seems to be slightly higher than the established one, in my subjective opinion. In short, only experience will help.
- I tried freezer bags, they are much thinner and more flexible. The result - I did not like it at all, and during vacuuming the walls often stick together and, moreover, I could not find the sealing time, I set 1 sec (in real life, 2-2.5 seconds are obtained), but this is a lot, the seam turns out to be bad, I manually stopped the sealing considering about myself 1 second - it seemed like nothing, but the stability of the results was not achieved. Then he spat and decided not to do nonsense. Well them, freezer bags! The price difference is small.
- still would strongly recommend when packing
dry use something so that the bag is approximately flush with the seam. When vacuuming, the forces appear serious, so the edges of the film begin to shift slightly relative to each other, hence the seam may turn out to be of poor quality. With grooved, the shear effect is most likely less pronounced due to irregularities.
- during operation, the sound of the motor is quiet, but due to the fact that it vibrates a little on a smooth tabletop, the left side of the vacuum unit (it is lighter than the right one, inside of which there is something like a transformer) is slightly shifted away from the operator (oh, as I said!). If you spread something, the non-slip effect goes away. An unpleasant surprise - the black sponge rubber legs left black marks on the light countertop due to vibration! Traces can be wiped off easily, but the peculiarity must be taken into account.
4) I keep my promise given to the fellows a bit earlier. In that message I promised to snatch and test the vegetable net as an insert in the neck of the bag. I succeeded on the second try; the first net, nervously looking around and sacrificing himself on the block for the sake of the forum, ripped off a cardboard box with oranges, but, as luck would have it, forgotten in the cart when loading into the car.
But, feeling heightened social responsibility for the earlier given promise, he made a second attempt. As a result, I snatched and tested, I give the results. The grid was seized in the Metro. Small pieces, they were put on some kind of ceramic pots, "schobs" did not fight.
The package is smooth, soldering without vacuum (it makes no sense with a vacuum for the same reason as with corrugated ones).
In my opinion, it should have worked. The mesh is clearly melted, the seam is even. Noooo, I poured water into the package - it flowed through the seam, but only in two places where there was just a lower quality seam. What I mean is, let my first experience not stop the afflicted. I soldered the same 3 seconds as without inserting the mesh, but it would probably take 4-5 seconds. It seems to me that everything should work out, you just need to choose the modes.
5) And also for corrugated and non-corrugated packages. I rummaged about the topic on the net, I learned a lot of new things.As I wrote here earlier, a lot of films for vacuum bags are produced by the coextrusion method, that is, the film consists of several layers, and these layers are made of different materials: polyethylene, polyamide, oriented, non-oriented, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene. Here it is a simple explanation that inserting a piece of a corrugated bag does not always lead to sealing - different materials in this "sandwich" simply do not weld together due to different soldering conditions for each material.
And I am also giving a quote for sveidnikov (OPA / PE film): “The barrier layer here will be oriented polyamide (PA), it has a barrier: good to oxygen (more than that of non-oriented polyamide), most gases, but a low barrier to water (it also hygroscopic), which can lead to delamination and a decrease in barrier properties, therefore, this material should be tried not to be processed in an aqueous environment. "
It may not be a big deal, but, as the saying goes, “not all yoghurts are equally useful”, it is advisable to use packages designed for sous vide ...
6) Please do not judge me - I have not tried to pack wet products with liquid. There was no need. There will be an opportunity - I will unsubscribe.
7) Location of the device. Since there is always not enough space in the kitchen for everyone, I had to smash my head and persuade my spouse to remove a couple of pots from the window sill (since it is wide) and install the DZ-280 / 2SE there. The reason is simple, in 8 cases out of 10, laziness will get the device from somewhere out of the cabinet, and so it is always ready to work.
It remains to order a few larger packages on Ali, although I think the Metrovskys will satisfy 90% of the needs. And also buy narrow rolls just in case, sometimes the length of the fish is long ...
9) Well, the conclusion. The device fully met the expectations, the work in the semi-automatic mode does not bother. They whipped their eyes, sho bathed! Some people write that the DZ-280 / 2SE creates a weaker vacuum than others ... What can I say, I don't have a manometer, so I'm not going to jump like a fool with a written sack and measure millimeters of mercury and other Megapascals ...
And what is important, the “toad” was strangled by me with my own hand, packed under vacuum in a cheap Meter package and hidden in the depths of my tender soul.
If you have any questions, I will answer, of course!
All the best!
PS. Well, and decided: seize the moment on the proposal. We took 3,400 rubles each, yesterday the price was 5,000, today 4,400 rubles. You understand that for many people it is much easier to purchase a device with an unpredictable frequency of use for 3000 than 5000.
