Ingredients

salt 4gr
Bay leaf 1 PC.
cloves (or cinnamon) 2 pcs.
vinegar 3% 25gr
vegetable oil (mine is unrefined) 12gr

Cooking method

  • I am now a fan of Soviet catering recipes!))) I have already succeeded in a biscuit roll with jam (I managed to cook it 10 times in a month - almost every day), lazy dumplings, cabbage salad, etc. Klondike, in short))). Now I stumbled upon pickled onions. And since my home nickname is Chippolino, it is completely clear how this should have ended)). Yes, I cooked it, and we sharpened it all under a shashlik. Just wow, how delicious it was for us!)) And the kebab today was just insanely fried, my husband surpassed himself, I love him. And kebab, and husband!))
  • Such exact grams are just a meticulous division of the Soviet public catering recipe by 4 (originally it was designed for 850g of onions). Bay leaf and cloves 0.1 g each, but I can hardly imagine how much it is, so I put in how much I thought of.
  • Take onions, peel and chop. Put everything in a saucepan (deep frying pan) and heat up to 70-80 degrees with constant mixing. Do not boil, boil or fry !! Just warm up not to a boil. Cool quickly (I put it in cold water upside down and put it in a non-oxidizing dish (glass jar). Everything. Leave for an hour or two to cool and soak. The crispness is not lost, but the onion becomes mild, pleasant, easy to eat without bread.
