Do you mean that it is badly laundered? I immediately, right away, as soon as I put the hot porridge in the plates, I fill the bowl with hot water, it is easily washed. If you do not pour water or do it later, it will be more difficult to wash.

Girls, tell me how to remove the pressure regulator... Unscrew the bottom with a Phillips screwdriver or what?
Quote: Ksyushk @ -Plushk @

In no case . Just pull it up with a little effort and it will come off.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @, thanks. I already took it out and washed it. My lid was stuck, the valve did not close well. Apparently due to inexperience, the gum was poorly fixed. Although before that everything was fine. This is my first pressure cooker, so I'm afraid of damaging something. Still pressure. Externally, the pressure indicator and the steam outlet are clean, I have not used toothpicks yet. Pick them right from above?
Quote: Ksyushk @ -Plushk @

Natasha, and you will see immediately where it is worth cleaning.
For example, I am an indicator that I clean the pressure regulator with a stiff brush. I move the indicator up and down and "shork". And I periodically soak the regulator in a solution of soda or dishwashing detergent to dissolve the grease. Then it rinses out perfectly under the tap.
Ksyushk @ Plushk @, thank you very much. Soaked it. I washed it. Everything works like clockwork. But the indicator hasn’t shuffled yet. I did not understand from which side to approach him.
Quote: Ksyushk @ -Plushk @

I tell you how to "shork" it is necessary.
I remove the cover by unscrewing the temperature sensor. Putting the lid under the tap, I wet it from all sides. I take a brush (I have it from a juicer, hard, for washing the net) and rub in the hole where the pressure indicator is. Then I squeeze it with my finger from the inside so that it pops out and again I rub. All that has had time to build up is cleaned off at once.
Ksyushk @ Plushk @, I understood everything, "I’m making a joke." Thank you very much for your advice. Apparently, it was all about the rubber band. As they unscrewed, washed. The rubber band was laid over a new one, everything went great. And I really thought that my Brandik was broken. As I imagined that I was left without him, I was so upset. Tomorrow I will cook yummy.
I am beautifull
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @Is Brand 6051 much higher than 37502? And then my 37502 easily opens under the wall cabinets, another 10 cm remains. Thank you.

Tell me, did you accidentally leave the pressure valve closed? When baking pastries, the valve must be opened. And maybe more flour needs to be added. If that write a recipe we will double-check it))

Through long experiments (10 cakes were personally baked) it was established:

1) I generally remove the "Bzdulka" from the valve, so that when baking, there is as little steam as possible under the lid;

2) Feel free to throw 15 minutes or even more by the cooking time. When I was preparing a chocolate cake strictly according to the recipe from a book for the first time, even part of it leaked out onto my hand when I took it out, and if + 15-20 minutes, everything is clear.
DVK
The "Baking" mode is generally EVERYTHING. You are standing in line at the checkout in the store - in front of you is a bachelor (he himself once stood) with a frozen mummified semblance of pizza for unimagined money, you, in turn, have the ingredients for making it 2/3 of what he pays, but you will feel the smell of Italy, and it will only satisfy your hunger with this trick.

You stand there and gloat quietly ...

Girls, I experimented with potatoes yesterday. And now the advice of those in the know is needed. I tried to repeat the recipe for potatoes, which I sometimes make in a binaton.
I put 40 g of butter in a bowl, melted it. I put the potatoes sprinkled with seasonings and mixed so that all the potato pieces were in oil. Program "KRUPA", time 12 minutes, default pressure. I wanted to get some lightly fried potatoes. But during this time she only became slightly warm. So here the Krupa regime is not at all like that. Maybe you should try on Rice?
Since everyone had to be fed, I switched to baking mode for 40 minutes. Well, I think I'll get some fried potatoes. In 30 minutes on baking in a cuckoo, I get fried potatoes and I don't need to stir anything. Prepared. I tried to open the lid, and she gained pressure. Began to lower, already splashing. Why did it accumulate if there was no water? As a result, I got stewed potatoes like a roast, such as I get when I stew with meat. The result was very surprising. Alas, the pastries and potatoes were not fried.
Maybe there will be some advice, girls?

And religion does not allow using the "Fry" mode for frying?))))

Tell me, please, what is the real capacity of the bowl? I have 3 men at home, when I go on duty I have to cook for 2 days at least, at least. The declared volumes are 5 liters, they turn into real 2 when loaded to the mark. Here also?
Dadusya
Now I measured my bowl - up to the MAX-3.5 liter mark
For two days for three men it will definitely not work out (from my own experience I say I also have three men and two of them are teenage athletes)
There is only one way out - to boil a few side dishes, arrange in containers and in the refrigerator. And a full bowl of something meaty. So maybe two days will last
DVK
For potatoes - a bit long, but it turns out exceptionally - I do this:

1) I clean two kilo potatoes and cut them into thin circles, put everything in a saucepan with a lid;

2) Salt the potatoes in a saucepan and add spices (there are special sets for potatoes). With the lid closed, shake the potatoes in a saucepan actively so that everything is salted and saturated with spices;

3) At the bottom of the bowl, vegetable oil, then potatoes, on top of pieces of butter.

4) Frying mode - 15 minutes, then stir and another 10.

5) Beat eggs (you can add mayonnaise and / or ketchup to taste if desired) and pour over potatoes.

6) I sprinkle it with grated cheese (in principle, you can do without it) and turn on the baking for 40 minutes - the valve is open.

The taste is unmatched - try it !!!!

Yes, everything by sight - the last time I made 2 kg of potatoes - duck beat 6 eggs. Beat with mayonnaise and ketchup, blender for 3 minutes, when poured the potatoes, mixed again so that the filling would saturate everything. And so - all the ingredients - who like how. Plus Brand 6051 - whatever you put is always delicious, only the taste is different !!!

That's right - I'm a plagiarist. But my program didn’t start under pressure, and that’s all - there is probably all the trick in the exact amount and ratio of products, and I always try to do more and by sight - for this I put the baked goods on and did not steam with the release of moisture and steam from the products. Plus, he boldly beat the eggs with a blender - the filling will be "thinner" and soak the potatoes.

By the way, if you do not fry the potatoes, but first put out a part, then put the minced meat on it, and then the rest of the potatoes - put the baking - 1 hour 30 minutes - then it will also be so

I've been reading recipes, they are fried for 15-25 minutes, in 5 minutes of frying, everything is fried to the bottom and has time to burn. And if you do not interfere, it will generally burn out. How many times I have fried, no more than 5 minutes the program is turned on. Now I was frying the chicken with onions and carrots, a layer of frying at the bottom, I feel that I will have a speck of pilaf. I prefer not to use this program, it's somehow easier on the stove. Please, express your opinion on this matter.
Roza_Irina
I also stir at intervals of 10-15 minutes when I fry potatoes. The girls were advised to put potatoes to fry for 25 minutes, close the lid and leave the kitchen. It didn't work out for me, after 15 minutes the whole family gave a signal that something was burning. Onions generally need to be stirred all the time.

In 6051, the FRYING MODE was not designed to leave food unattended.
We developed this function taking into account the fact that during frying they will interfere and pour in a sufficient amount of oil.

About Plov:
For the Frying function, you first need to fry the meat, then just add onions and only at the end carrots, maybe onions, and even more so, carrots take all the oil. Pouring Rice and pouring water - Plov should be cooked for the function: Groats.
The KRUPA function is specially designed for evaporation of liquid from cereals.

If you want to get fried Chicken, you can use the Bake function or combine the two BAKING AND FRYING modes, or set your own MANUAL mode.

There are no strict rules in the preparation of a particular dish, the functionality is designed for the preparation of any product. Unfortunately, you cannot develop too many buttons, they simply do not fit or become too small, which will also be inconvenient.

Roza_Irina
I have absolutely no complaints about the Frying program. The multicooker fries perfectly. I was just looking for a mode where you can set to fry and not interfere with anything. In my cuckoos I put on the 1st level of baking for 30 minutes, closed the lid and left right before the signal. But the girls scolded me a little that I was reinventing the wheel. I also wanted such a result here. But I still wasn't upset. The cuckoo fries potatoes, and Brandik cooks something else himself.
A-liona
Irina, I read the forum very carefully before purchasing the multicooker and after reading the instructions. I know that when frying it is necessary to interfere, but my products are necessarily fried and with this fried layer I already continue cooking on the program I need. And, of course, I know that meat is fried first, and then vegetables, but the sum does not change from a change in the places of the terms. I prefer to fry on the stove, I have already written, and there you also need to stir, but I know for sure that it will not burn. It surprises me that they fry for 15-25 minutes, but I cannot use the program for more than 5 minutes.
RepeShock

And I always fry the onions and carrots for pilaf first, and then the meat.
The meat gives juice, which is completely unnecessary for the vegetables. And so they are already fried and the laying of meat no longer interferes with their processing.
Roza_Irina
Or maybe you need to go to the service center then?

I tried it in different ways, because the multicooker-pressure cooker is my first, I cooked everything according to recipes, just as it is written, I did it. All the same, it will fry in some part of the bowl, then, after the dish is fully prepared on another program, it will lag behind the bottom. The bowl is poorly washed, every time I go to the chandelier to see if there is anything left.
Every day I read all the topics that concern 6051, in order to understand if everything is the same with me as everyone else's, but it turns out that not always. So I'm interested in knowing the opinions of experienced users and Brand representatives.
And we don't have a service center, so I probably would have already driven

Girls, tell me how right in it cook buckwheat porridge for a side dish... Cooked as in the instructions - 2 mst. buckwheat and 2 with a small mst. hot water. "Groats" mode 9 min. It turned out a little harsh. Added 1 mst. water and set for another 4 minutes. It's a little dry anyway. Everything else works out fine. And with porridge bummer.

Quote: Dadusya

I cook almost all cereals as in a regular saucepan: buckwheat 1: 2, rice 1: 1.5, barley 1: 2, brown rice 1: 2. I cook rice and buckwheat for 9 minutes, the rest for 20-25 minutes. The result suits me.
Quote: Tanyulya

I cook buckwheat on Groats, I set 1/2 (cereal / water) for 9 and 12 minutes. At the moment I cook for breakfast, in the same proportions, 12 minutes. We really like porridge. we just eat with butter, the child pours milk.
Quote: DVK

Pilaf and buckwheat are the main dishes - I do everything on the machine:

1) Pilaf - I turn on the frying mode and fry the onions for 10 minutes, add the carrots for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, the program ends - I start it again and lay out the meat. I run the frying program completely - that is, another 15 minutes. In general, the longer the zirvak is fried, the tastier the pilaf. At the end of the second frying cycle, I level the zirvak, sprinkle with spices, fall asleep and level the rice, pour in water so that the rice only hides, put "Rice" for 12 minutes.

2) Buckwheat. Milk porridge (we love thin) - a stupid measuring glass and a carton of milk (the taste and consistency is such that you immediately remember the Soviet kindergarten) - the default mode is "milk porridge". Ordinary buckwheat or with stewed meat - how many measuring glasses - how many glasses of water - the "cereal" mode by default.
Dadusya, DVK, Tanyulya, thanks for the answers. It is clear that she poured little water. This is what it means to stupidly follow the instructions, without listening to the inner voice. And he demanded to add water. Next time, I'd better pour more than less.

Good day to all Brand fans! Multicooker and pressure cooker with experience - more than 5 years for sure. Working mother of many children (in 3 jobs, not counting the house). I have 4 multi - 2 pressure cookers, 2 multi (in the country, at home). I went with the children "on vacation" with a cartoon, 3 years in a row, every year the savings in "rest in my native Krasnodar Territory" amounted to 35-40 thousand due to cooking in the room. At the dacha and at home, I cook almost and exclusively in cartoons. The question about 6051 "is not a white version", usually after studying the testing problems, changes are made to the next versions. I'd like very much to make changes in the expected "silver" version compared to the "white" one, especially in the baking mode. 120 degrees is clearly not enough. I, as an assistant professor and researcher, thoroughly study and try everything. So I'm a fan of Brand. Believe me, not out of thin air - there is something to compare! Multi work 5 times a day - cereals, soups, casseroles, baked goods, dinners, snacks, yoghurts, sour cream, blanks ... As a large mother, working at 3 jobs, I know for sure you need a pressure cooker and a multicooker. Cuckoo fits, but not its price. 6051 is very suitable, but would like to modify according to testing. Looked that the price of "silver" is more than "white" by 1000, really without improvement? And Daycin coating is clearly better than ceramic. THANKS in advance to everyone for the answer and at least some information.

Linadoc, good evening! In the first models of Brand multicookers, the temperature on the "Pastry" was 130 degrees, some types of dough burned. Therefore, many began to ask to reduce the heating and bring it closer to the ideal (as in Panasonic, but in it 120 degrees). And that was done. Now it turns out that we need to raise again.
Easier, it seems to me, to use the "Manual" mode for baking.

Actually, that's what I'm going to do, but if the majority do this, isn't it easier to change the settings, and if the minority burns, can I set it manually? I'm just thinking like a researcher, not dictating terms. I will agree with any technique, but I want it as simple as possible. I just thought that testing was intended to improve the parameters, right? I am for proven progress. I always shoot by hand with a photographic technique, and here I can. But if this is already programmed, then it is easier for my daughter to show which buttons to press while I am not (mercantile interest). And children often have to give instructions even over the phone - while you work. I myself can safely program everything in advance, but that's not the point. I often participated in drug trials and working out their doses and frequency of administration, here I think the same thing. So I am writing comments, it may come in handy.

Those cuckoos that I have for baking are not ice. I think 1051 is good for baking, but I don't have it. It's hard for me to say which one is better (I get this question every day), honestly, I love all of them, I have each quick car responsible for its own scope of work. If we compare Brand and Steba, which is possible and not very correct, then Brandosha is more functional. The pastries are equally good, but now I bake biscuits only in Štebik. Any fast food will make your meat for 5+, soups, stewing is the same thing for pressure cookers. I like milk porridge better in Brandos. I am also sooo happy and captivating with the Manual mode. Honestly ... all the same, I would have bought both in the end. At the moment, these two fast-paced ones work for me and work as main assistants. And in Yunit smokehouse I cook pasta and dumplings, it will fly away !!! (y) The rest are in the wings or when I cook a lot of dishes, then I turn on almost all the units.

And 150 'only in the "frying" mode.
