And in the airfryer you get just a wonderful omelet. You can't do that in the oven or in the pan. The only baking that I do well in the airfryer is puff pastries. But there is little space. And smoked fish from the grill and in the country are two different things. Incomparable.

And if not a secret, what are the shapes in diameter? I tried 27cm (no more than 24cm is needed) and nothing works, the top is baked, but inside it is not .... Maybe it's all the same in the shape and its diameter? Can you share your baking recipes? I got up in the stump, well, nothing happens ... Thank you in advance!

I also want to try baking something in the airfryer. I look forward to baking recommendations from those who have achieved decent results.
I doubt that it is worthwhile to strain especially about baking in an airfryer, since my Ariston oven is not bad with convection and a Panasonic microwave oven with convection baking function, and even a pizza oven is available for pizza and low pies or hot sandwiches, not to mention two multicooker and pressure cooker. But I want to test the device on all admissible fronts. If it is written that you can bake, then you need to try and it is desirable to achieve success in this.

I have a shape of 24 cm. I tried charlotte on the lower grate and on the middle oven. The top is ready, the bottom is raw. I had to cover the top with foil so that it was baked. The only thing that turns out well is puff pastry pies. They are quickly baked and do not have time to burn on top. But all kinds of casseroles and puddings turn out great.
goose
The size of the form matters. The principle of the airfryer - the fan drives hot air throughout the flask, and if you put a large-diameter mold, from wall to wall, then naturally the top of you will burn, and the bottom of the middle will not be baked due to lack of temperature.
We draw a conclusion - the form in the airfryer should be such that the air circulates freely and there will be no problems with baking.

I use a self-cleaning (hotter) mode, 80 degrees, 10 minutes, low speed. A little shampoo, I dump all the grids that got dirty there, and I forget until the fan stops and the bowl cools down. Then I rinse everything in the sink.
I don't see any problems at all. I never tore anything off. A little on the grates remains, with a light touch of the hand, everything is removed. And the bowl is generally impeccable. When cooking meat, I put a large deep ceramic plate at the bottom of the bowl, where I pour, for example, beer, and then fat drips into it. At the end I pour it all out. and the plate is washed with the grids in the self-cleaning mode.

Likewise, no problem! True, I rinse it in the sink, there is also a lot of foam and I have to tinker, but otherwise I'm happy, any fat is washed off!

Hello! I was presented with such a device, but there were no instructions. Tell me how this miracle turns on? The start buttons are not there, the time and temperature are set, but they do not start ... If anyone has come across this, please tell me, or if possible, throw off the scan instructions on the soap. Thank you in advance!

We've only had an airfryer for six months, but it seems that we have it all our lives, so we have become akin to it. Since we don't have gas at our dacha, all our kitchen units are electric. Before the advent of the airfryer (Hotter HX-1087 Tiger), food was mainly cooked in the microwave (we have it with a grill and convection), but now the airfryer has successfully competed with the microwave. Now we have five books with recipes for the airfryer: "The first book of recipes", which is attached to the airfryer when buying, and four more, which I bought in the store "Seven Hills", where, in fact, I bought the airfryer.

Here is the very first dish that I cooked in the airfryer from the book "The first book of recipes" - "Chicken legs" along the potato lane "": Mix a small amount of mayonnaise with salt, spices and chopped garlic. Spread the chicken drumsticks and potatoes (can be directly in the "uniform") with this mixture. Arrange the potatoes on the lower wire rack, and fan the drumsticks on the middle wire rack. Cook for 35-40 minutes at 260 degrees, high speed.

It turned out very tasty. I peeled the potatoes and cut them into quarters. But now I have a problem, and not only when preparing this dish. The distance (gap) between the lower and middle grate is very small: not every piece can be accommodated. You either have to make the pieces smaller or use the upper and lower grates, and not the middle and lower ones.

P.S. When registering, I indicated that I have a Panasonic SD-255 bread maker, but for some reason this is not reflected in the message.

Look at the different sites for a lot of recipes for the airfryer. I have collected a whole book. Cooking in the airfryer is wonderful, baking, boiling, stewing, smoking.
For everything to work out, you need to get used to it, it's like any technique, an approach is needed. Then you will succeed.

For those who are on the verge of choosing - the article "How to choose an airfryer?"
🔗

question for VES owners - how are they quality? I don’t want to overpay for a hotter ... and we don’t seem to sell Units.

From this article, the most valuable, quote: More sophisticated models (touch and electronic control, a hinged lid on the bracket, several fan modes, automatic cooking programs) open up more cooking options and, accordingly, are more expensive - from $ 160. end of the quote from the Smart Buyer website
In short, so as not to take a steam bath, go in 🔗
and choose HOTTER HX-1057 ELITE The best option, all this of course IMHO

I, too, when I bought Hotter, was very worried that I had overpaid for the name, but at the moment when I got hot to buy an airfryer, I didn't even find VES in stores, everything was sorted out on the eve of March 8, although it was still the first days of February. There were only ones, Smile, and I definitely would not want to buy such one. And at that moment I came across Hotter Classic, I was somewhat shocked by the price of 7,000 rubles. I knew, of course, that they are an order of magnitude more expensive, but still ... I just expected to spend 3-4 tons on the airfryer. But after a month and a half, I do not regret a bit about the otter. It's the same as with bread makers - first we choose a cheaper model, and then we suffer that nothing happens.
As a child, my mother told me that "we are not rich enough to buy cheap things." Better (once again I was convinced) to shell out right away and use the thing with pleasure.

Kitten
natalka I completely agree with you, and inexpensive bread makers confirm this
But I looked for reviews on the internet, and some of them say about the not very good build quality of Hotters
We have prices for them from 1100 UAH. (about $ 120) up to UAH 1800. ($ 200). And for the same cartoon, I gave 210 $
I am not yet ripe for a purchase, and there will be money for it later.

I was now interested in aerogrills with halogen heating instead of heating elements, it seems to be faster. Do Hotters have such a heating element (they don't write anything about it)? And in general, is it worth chasing after him?
sazalexter
KittenIn fact, halogen lamps (heaters) have a lower resource than air heating elements

And I have Smile and I'm happy! It all depends on how intensively you are going to use it and I climbed on different sites before buying and decided that in the case of the airfryer personally for me the Hotter is really an overpayment (I bought it for 1800), and I want a good bread maker, because the unit itself is more complicated and I think here saving really will come out more expensive!

The Unit has Unit 912 (there is also electronic control, and even a delayed start, which is not in Hotter). I was just looking for this for myself, but in our area with the Units it is tense, and there was no patience to wait from the Internet store.

Seogdaya in the store saw a thing that is terribly similar to the aerogrills discussed here.

Called Grill Oven Minute - Nu Wave

Works on infrared radiation, it is not cheap - almost 2 hryvnia
Seems to have 10 temperature levels, maximum 177 degrees
Electronic control
Only here is not a word about ventilation in the instructions

Only the one that I saw is 60 centimeters in diameter, this one in the picture seems to be smaller

Has anyone heard of this ??

Well, at first glance, for myself, I would have found a minus in the maximum temperature - it is some kind of low - 177 degrees C.

Another small drawback, when opening the device, there will be a problem where to put the hot lid with the motor? It is also heavy. As a rule, Notter's hinge is not removed to the end, which IMHO is safer

The hairpin, having read the description of your Brand airfryer in the forum, became very interested in it (the fact that it is compact, washable in the sink). How do you like him? Have you mastered it? Do you like dishes prepared with it? I understand that you may not have anything to compare with (usually they buy one airfryer, but there is already experience, can you tell me what to do with it ... But is it true that a turkey can fit into it if you use an expansion ring? This, of course, is not necessary, but I would like to cook the whole chicken in it. Help me out! So far, apart from you on other forums, I don’t see more of its owners, so only you can give an assessment and recommendations. And I really liked it.
Hairpin
elbarinova
1. I really have nothing to compare with. My friends do not have aero grills;
2. If the chicken / turkey is no more than 25 cm in diameter, it will fit.
3. I do not see any discomfort from the lack of gear shifting. The recipes seem to be confusing;
4. Discomfort from the fact that the cover is not on the bracket (that is, it must be put somewhere), as it is usually clean. Now, if she were greasy or sweet, the stain would remain, she would not see the stains.
5. And without a display, I will somehow definitely hold out!

Conclusion... In general, this is my general position. If I don't know if I need a thing, then I take a simpler model. Kenwood BM-210 took the bread maker, decided that I needed HP, and now I'm trying on Panasonic 255. And bread makers are more popular than aerogrills. If you read the thread carefully, you probably noticed how many Hotters are gathering dust on the cabinets.
So if the Hotter doesn't fit in your sink, don't take it ... The bowl is very often oily, and wash in the bathroom ... Besides Brand, there are others, small ones, but I don't know ...

If you have more questions, write, maybe I missed something!

Thanks for the answer. I just want to cook more everyday, not very complicated, but delicious dishes.
I have another question. Which is better to choose: ceramic pots or glass? Are there any fundamental differences?

In my experience, ceramic pots are better, both large and small. In glassware, the one that for microwave (thick-walled) for some reason, it takes much longer to cook. I have both portioned ceramic pots and a large ceramic saucepan.

Hello everyone!
I have had an airfryer for 6 years (Hotter) and I am very, very happy with this thing.
You know, the first 2 years, I did not understand all the charm of this technique, I only used it in the summer cottage and did not know what to do with it in winter. I just cleaned it on the mezzanine, now I use it very often, fry the seeds, crackers with garlic and salt, meat, chicken, and baked potatoes in their uniforms with a piece of bacon inside!
I won't talk about chicken and meat for a long time, I will just say that it turns out very tasty chicken, if you pour a glass of beer on the bottom, the chicken turns out baked and very juicy, and very tasty meat in French (beat off, salt, pepper, put on the middle wire rack ( I have 5 pieces on the bone (cutlets)), finely chopped onion on top, sliced tomatoes, grease with mayonnaise and for 20 minutes at the highest t and speed, then sprinkle with grated cheese and for another 6 minutes.
It has already been written here that the puff pastry in AG is very cool, all sorts of turnovers, croissants. I also made pies and buns, and kneads the HP dough. But really, if you need to do a lot at once, it is better to bake in the oven.
And for the dacha, it's just super, in the HP dough I make a little, a total of 20 pies are obtained, this is what we need.
I made berries in their own juice right in the jars, great and not confusing. Porridge in pots, glass (attached to AG), very tasty. I made preparations for the winter, that is, I put the salad in jars and sterilized it in the AG, then you take it out with special tongs and roll it up. Dried mushrooms and herbs in it.
Well, in general, I really need a piece, I now have a complete set of kitchen appliances.
I just made a cupcake.

Tell me which hotter is more convenient - with a hinged lid or with a removable one?
I just saw that the price of the coolest hotter with an Elite hinged lid is higher than that of the Classic with a removable lid, and I can't understand why, because with a hinged one, you can increase it with two rings.
Maybe the bracket is more convenient to use?

This is because you don't need to look for a place to put the lid on the airfryer with a bracket. Therefore, it is believed that it is more convenient with a bracket ...

Is it considered more convenient, that is, in fact, is it?
Hairpin
I have an airfryer with a removable lid. I do not feel any inconvenience. But I don't have dishes where fat flies in all directions. That is, I take off the lid of the airfryer and put it next to it. There is no greasy spot there, but if the inner side of the roof was covered in fat ... I would put it upside down.
The multicooker also has a bracket, when you open it, it leaks right near the bracket ...
In short, every sandpiper praises his swamp!

Of course, it is more convenient with a bracket, opened it and it stands (cover)

And the AEROGRILLE has nothing to leak, and the lid is very hot after cooking.

Fixed lid - I'm happy, no hassle, I'm a bit of a quitter (admit) ... Tell me, please, did anyone cook in AG for a couple? And can we throw something interesting for Easter?

I have a Classic with a removable lid. When I bought an airfryer, there was no choice, but I really wanted to wait - naturally, there was no urine to look for. There, of course, there is a special stand and with the placement of the lid, there are no problems, but it seems to me that it would be more convenient on the crane bracket. The price difference may not be worth the convenience though.
Qween
I also thought about buying an airfryer.

I courageously reread all 29 pages, but finally did not come to any conclusion. One might even say - completely confused.

And I started with the thought that if I find one plus, which is not in the equipment already available in my kitchen, then I will definitely buy it.

As if you want to tinker with it, but on the other hand, the airfryer looks very much like a small convection oven.

Right here: 🔗
looked after the bottom three. I don't see any fundamental differences either.
To be or not to be? Please advise.

Good evening everyone. If money allows you to buy an airfryer, and there is a place in your kitchen, get it, a good thing. I love. I have an airfryer
HOTTER TIGER New HX-1097 is a great model. In just now I got out a pea soup in a pot in a country style, delicious. I put everything in a pot, put it in the airfryer and after 1.20 hours it was ready, I simmered the soup in a pot at 120 degrees, so I recommend it for a long time, but very tasty.
natalka
I have a Hotter Classic. Also very good and the price is reasonable. The functions are the same as in Tiger and Platinum, only the design is different (here the last two, of course +) and the lid is not on the bracket (in some cases it is even more convenient). Hotter in general (any model except the most primitive) is the best!
Anastasia
No, personally, I have not yet agreed, although I also read Temka from time to time. And the place is really gone, and to replace it with a convection oven, and a microwave oven with a grill and convection, so far it has been very successful. Otherwise, there will soon be more appliances in the kitchen than what needs to be prepared.
