Elena, and pasteurized milk from ordinary soft bags was left on the timer overnight? Doesn't it turn sour? For example, milk sour in a glass overnight. In our apartment, even with open windows + 25 + 27, heat.

I cook porridge in milk from soft bags, usually at Piskarevsky, but I took other different milk. Nothing folds. But it is not hot in our apartment, even in summer it is not as hot as in others.
In order to prevent milk from sour at hot temperatures, it is advised to add water to it in the form of ice.

And yet - my sister had a paradoxical situation - the milk was not curdled on the postponement, and without a postponement with prolonged heating-languishing - flakes ... Moreover, the flakes were stirred and the porridge turned out to be normal in taste. From this fact, I concluded that the milk did not turn sour, but simply stratified with prolonged heating - the powder from the "milk" separated. Milk changed - everything was fine.

Good luck with your cooking and other tasty creations!

lemusik, height 502 with the lid open 47-48 cm, it was impossible to measure more precisely. Maybe someone else will measure?
Nikasa
lemusik, thanks for the advice, I'll try to add ice cubes to milk.
And the height 502 with the lid open is really 47cm.

Oh girls, bought this cool multi-pot !!!! I re-read so many reviews and stopped at this model, I do not regret it at all, both budgetary and functional, which is especially pleasing !!! There are no foreign smells, everything disappeared immediately after washing with ordinary dishwashing detergent. I cook with pleasure, I fell in love right away !!! Everything turns out deliciously and as it should, I am not overjoyed, and so much time was freed up, my husband really likes the same, the attached paddles, however, I DO NOT use, because I'm used to silicone ones. and a bowl on the shore, over time I dream of getting a second one. Now I am mastering the recipe book. but I also cook my own dishes, i.e. with experimenting.

I bought it today !!!
now I'm sitting at her looking, admiring! I will cook in it tomorrow.
while I was getting for her "like a reindeer" got such stress
I'm sitting now tired, but dooooool! no strength even to print.

in the morning I noticed that although she was not at the office. website, but it has already risen in price there!
I took it for 5200, and now I went to the site where I took it, and she already costs 5490 there, as well as at the office. site.

I have been using this slow cooker for about 2 weeks (I managed to snatch it on the office website on January 23 when the delivery was). I am very pleased with her. Before buying, I doubted whether it was needed at all, because I don't really like to cook. But now there are no doubts - on the stove now I only cook porridge for my daughter in a tiny saucepan, and because we also eat little crumbs, we will grow up - I will also make porridge in a cartoon. The smell was not strong, after cooking, nothing smells either (the silicone ring only smells if you bury your nose straight in it, I do not completely close the multicooker itself - it is always half-open, I stop it with a handle). in general, I am very pleased, and most importantly now there is excitement - I really want to cook and I want to!

Most likely, the user inserts a writing pen under the handle of the multicooker from behind, and the lid turns out to be raised, not completely!)

carrying handle - lift it over the lid of the multicooker and it kind of stops it, that is, the cartoon remains half-open (for ventilation, so to speak)

please develop my doubts ...
The 502 has a ceramic coated bowl, but it's black. This fact confuses me very much. I have heard a lot about the fact that the black coating of the dishes is very toxic and unhealthy.
The fact is that I ordered a cartoon 502 for a person who has undergone cancer, and this moment is very important for us.
is the coating really safe? And what is the difference between the black ceramic coating of the bowl in 502 and the light coating in 6050?
Elena Bo
In 6050, the coating is not ceramic.

Good day! The color of the coating is not of strategic importance. The main thing is what it is, what it is made of. Ceramics is an environmentally friendly natural mineral, absolutely harmless to human health. And black means harmful, most likely it came from the people who so called black pans with a non-stick coating, which contained perfluorooctanoic acid. As for bowls from 6050 - their coating is also environmentally friendly. B 6050 - DAIKIN coating (Japan).

The slow cooker is only a few days old, and today, after the cottage cheese casserole, I found a breakaway piece of coating with a diameter of about a millimeter !!! Straight metal is visible ... A bowl of soap with a sponge, no means, except for dish gel, a silicone spatula, why did it break off?
In theory, now it cannot be used ... What, a bowl for throwing away? So there won't be enough money for the bowls. What should I do? What to cook now? And why is the coating so flimsy?
Elena Bo
Nikasa, did you not drop or hit the bowl? You cannot also pour cold water into a hot bowl.

No, no, Elena, did not drop, did not hit, waited until it cooled completely, only after that she poured water, soaked it, and then only wiped it with a sponge. I even put it on the table only on a potholder so that I wouldn't even scratch it outside, and now ...

It means marriage. Don't worry, your problem will definitely be solved by Brand representatives. You only need to photograph the chip so that you can see it.
Nikasa
Well, tomorrow I will definitely take a picture. But at first, this chip was not visible. And what will the Brand representatives tell you?
Nikasa
oh, I was so happy about my first slow cooker ...
I decided not to wait tomorrow (there will simply be no time tomorrow), and took a picture of the bowl today, the quality is not very good, because I clicked on the soap dish. But even in these photos I saw that in the last photo there is one more chip a little higher and to the right. I ran to look at the bowl, and there really is, just not to the metal, therefore not so noticeable. For the first time in my life I have such bad luck with technology

Please tell me lovely girls!

What are the responses to our 5-step manual mode? Do you need it at all? How often do you use it? Do you really need so many stages or less enough? Can you customize it?

If I had a new 502 with a programmable manual mode, I would first of all try to cook rice according to Pokhlebkin. Before the multicooker appeared in the house, I always cooked crumbly rice on gas according to this recipe. I read it a long time ago in the book "Secrets of Good Cooking" and it never let me down - the rice always turned out perfectly crumbly and without any frying on the pan (although it was made of ordinary stainless steel). I'll clarify - I take long-grain rice, non-steamed.

I can't do that in a multicooker And in general, I don't like the algorithm of the auto-program Rice in a multicooker - why is this frying at the end ...? In whatever proportion I poured the water (I tried different ones, stopped at 1: 1.5) - a compressed cake still comes out, and in my, year-old, ceramic-coated saucepan, it also stuck to the bottom.

Pokhlebkin's algorithm is exactly the opposite - with decreasing temperature towards the end of cooking, and not with an increase.
the recipe is like this:
Exact ratio by volume: 200 ml of rice to 300 ml of water.
Water - boiling water (i.e. immediately pour rice with boiling water from a kettle)
Cooking time is exactly 12 minutes. Under a heavy, tightly closed lid.
Fire: 3 minutes strong, 7 minutes moderate, 2 minutes weak.
Leave (it was recommended to just let it stand without opening the lid) for another 12 minutes, then add oil and stir.

All this can be programmed in manual mode, only you need to select the appropriate temperature for the concept of "strong, moderate, low fire". Perhaps this is something like 105-115, 98-99 and 70C, respectively. In any case, these temperatures are declared in auto-mode (albeit in the reverse order)

Can someone try it?

Why did I write all this - it seems to me that there should be at least 3 stages in programmed mode. 5 is very good, but it may not be necessary.
P.S.
If you try, then with temperatures of 100-90-70, so as not to run away, as discussed below.
oksana1000
It seems to me that in this case, at the first stage, there will be a violent boiling of rice with a large amount of foam and it will fall out of the valve, it is not for nothing that a heavy lid is recommended when cooking according to Pokhlebkin. In a multicooker, at the first stage, the liquid is absorbed into the rice at 70 degrees, and then the temperature for cooking is increased. Today I cooked basmati mistral rice for cereal express, 1: 1.5, it turned out great. After the signal, it was mixed with the addition of butter and for 15 minutes for heating. Very crumbly, I even wanted a little bit more "wet". Next time I'll add a little more water. The rice was not raw, completely ready. I have been using a multicooker for 10 days. No punctures when using recipes from the forum and from the recipe book.

I would try, but for some reason I don't risk cooking in a damaged saucepan
And it seems to me that 100 degrees is enough for the concept of "strong", otherwise the foam will actually climb through the valve. Maybe somewhere 100-90-70 try?
I agree about the stages, even 3 stages of programming are enough for me.
Gibus
oksana1000
You're right, I wouldn't want to spill out the valve.
Yes, 110-115C is too much, but the usual boiling at 100C for such a short time (3 minutes) is unlikely to lead to splashing. In any case, the soups are boiling and not splashing out ...

At first, I was also more or less tolerant of rice in the auto mode. I thought it was necessary to adapt, to more precisely choose the ratio of cereal-water. But in the end, after going through many options, I never reached the ideal. And the saucepan has lost its non-stick properties over time and now everything sticks to it ...

Hopefully, on Monday, when Brand representatives see your message, the problem will be solved somehow.
The coating of these pans is very durable, I can't even imagine how it can be damaged during normal use. Most likely a marriage.
But after six months or a year, with an ideal appearance, it begins to stick to it

As for temperatures, I agree with you, 100-90-70 will be better.

Hello Nikasa! Indeed, your bowl needs to be replaced. What is the easiest and quickest to do: try to contact the Ryazan "Globus" for a replacement, because they give their 2-year warranty for electrical goods. If you have any difficulties, then write to us about it.

Good day! At Globus it is enough to present a receipt for the purchase of goods. The policy of the store is as follows: either they will change the product for you, or they will return the money back. Take a closer look at the replaced product. Take a closer look at the bowl from all sides for chips, and carefully check the functionality of the buttons together with a technician checkpoint employee.

Good day! Maybe I'm not writing in the subject, I apologize in advance. But...
I recently acquired this miracle of technology, I have been dabbling for 2 weeks already. And my pastries according to the recipe book all the time turn out not to baked. What am I doing wrong ???
Baked Zebra cake and Curd cake. They're not raw, but they don't look like muffins at all. And especially when they cool down like a big and thick pancake. That is, there is no raw dough, but not at all airy and not friable.
Can someone tell me?
I'm afraid to try baking further on baking, the translation of products is obtained and disappointment (((

Hello everyone! I am with the first report. So far I have prepared only 2 dishes: I stewed potatoes with pork and boiled barley in water. Both worked well.
I took pearl barley in a ratio of 1: 2 with water, cooked it in the "Pilaf" mode, and left it on heating. I didn't soak the groats, just washed them, poured them with cold water, added a couple of tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, salt, turned on and left for the child. By the time I arrived, the porridge had been warming up for 40 minutes. Result: the water was absorbed all without residue, the porridge is crumbly, completely ready. My goats love this one with fragrant sunflower oil. The experiment was a success !!!

Fresh from the store. There was the last multicooker of this model and also from the showcase. There is nothing to say about the display case, and the new front panel was scratched quite badly. I was offered to return the money or wait a week or two until a new delivery, or just change the bowl. I agreed to the latter, I really did not want to be left without a multicooker. So everything is fine, they drew up an act, they noted in the check that the exchange was made and indicated the date. I examined the bowl almost with a magnifying glass, everything seemed to be exactly inside, only there was a small scratch on the outside at the bottom, but I thought it was not critical.
Hurray, now it will be warm for an hour, and I will already cook!

Zebra used to bake, but not in this MV and not according to the recipe from the book, I did it well, but you, Elena, intrigued me with a reference, walked along it, and there was another one - read it and admired it. So I found the answer to my question there. The fact is that already 3 times in different MVs I baked Manniki and not one came out, I could not understand why. And then I came across your words "Do not beat the dough, but knead", perhaps this was the reason for the bad manna? I whipped them for so long at different stages of the product laying. And they turned out to be edible, but eerily rubbery.
All the same, I will try again for the last time and I will not beat with a mixer.
Elena Bo
klera1563, you do not need to be zealous with cupcakes and manna. Especially after laying flour with baking powder. Mixed quickly and for baking. I even grease the bowl beforehand.

Girls, hello! You are already a guru in multicooker and their discussion on our forum, tell me, please, where you can find out / read how to get rid of the characteristic multi-smell? bought a 502 model, before that there was a Panas - in general there was no such problem, but here they cooked porridge, so it smells as if they did not cook porridge in a cartoon, but on the contrary - it is impossible to eat
Denis BR
Good day! As practice shows, in order to get rid of the plastic smell in a new multicooker, it is necessary to boil water with lemon in the "Steam steam" mode. It is also recommended to wash and ventilate the silicone pad, as it absorbs all odors during cooking.
Nikasa
Olanwo, I also faced this problem. First I boiled a lemon.
After each cooking, I remove the plate with a silicone seal from the top cover, wash it with detergent, sometimes just soap, and then I don’t put the plate in place, I put it in the dryer, where the plates are, until the next cooking.
I do not close the multicooker itself completely after cooking, I leave it ajar (I throw the carrying handle forward, and it does not allow the lid to open).
Now the smell of plastic in food is completely gone.

From the forum
Difference from the previous model (37502):
Instead of the Dough and Simmering modes, the Frying and Manual modes appeared,
the "heating" function can be canceled, the "heating" function up to 24 hours,
the design of the control panel has changed,
new box design,
the time for "Steam cooking" can be set from 1 minute,
time on the "yoghurt" mode can be set from 1 hour,
ceramic non-stick coating of the heating element.
Well, the most important thing is a 5-step programmable manual mode with the ability to set the cooking time and temperature at each stage!
Favorite
the 502 has a five-step "manual mode" and "frying mode", a panel with a larger font, that's basically all the differences. 502 is a modified 37502
Luchanna
Thank you so much!
I, too, tend to 502 more, but the lack of the "languor" mode confuses.

Why do you need a simmering mode if there is a manual mode with a step of 5 degrees? Set the desired temperature and languish to your health.
Luchanna
I see, but the "Dough" mode is also manual?
I just don't quite understand this manual mode.
Excuse me, new to multicooker (((

The most delicious porridge is on the Porridge plus Heating mode. In terms of temperatures and the algorithm of work - the same languor as in a Russian oven, and you don't even need to bother with the manual mode. And it is Manual for complex schemes - a super unique mode, NO ONE else has such a thing!
