This is a physical process. There are two reasons for this sound:
- stretched O-ring (we wrote about this earlier)
- the presence of a removable lid plate in the pressure cooker.
The plate is made of lightweight material - aluminum. In the process of cooking under pressure, there is a load (pressure) on the plate and it "makes a sound", the plate seems to bend. This phenomenon occurs more often with a small amount of liquid in the bowl.
Heating is turned on, the operating temperature (pressure) is reached, the heating is turned off, and with a small volume of products, an excess (insignificant) value of the operating pressure occurs, the plate bends - a crackling sound is heard. The temperature (pressure) drops slightly and the plate returns to its original state, a crackling sound is heard.
