Today I cooked millet porridge on the Porridge mode. Either you don't need to dilute the milk with water, or you need to release the pressure right after the pick-up, but the porridge is boiled, and the milk curdled.
And what time did you expose, or by default? This is me to take into account the future.
I also have cereal and overcooked rice porridge today. Can the flakes form from too long heat treatment?!.

Was the millet washed well? Poured boiling water before cooking?

I have never had any cereal, I don't even understand what it is from. What do you mean by overcooked porridge? I cook by default for 1 multi-glass of rice. Always a great result. I take round rice. Long thin not suitable for porridge.

I will try to photograph the flakes if they come back. And the overcooked porridge just stood on the heat, I put the porridge to cook and went with the kids to the red square for a walk, thought for an hour, but it turned out to be three, when we returned there was a thick paste in the pan. Round Kuban rice.

Just with rice it turned out more or less ...
I washed the millet, scalded it with boiling water to remove the bitterness (I read it in the tips). I added hot boiled water (3 glasses) and milk from the bag. Millet put not 1 glass, but two. I put it on porridge by default. I did not release the pressure. Maybe this is the reason, the porridge is overcooked, the milk curdled. I will try to reduce the cooking time and let off steam immediately.
vernisag
try adding cold water, from hot water + cold milk such a result can be. And from not expensive butter, milk can also curl, since God knows what is mixed in it.
Elena Bo
If you cook porridge in store milk, then take a proven ultra-pasteurized one. No water is needed, homemade milk is usually diluted. Milk should be cold, if you reheat, then reduce the cooking time.

Good evening, dear forum users)))

So I got into your ranks. Still, the Internet is "evil". Until I climbed into your wonderful forum, I lived without knowing that I needed a multicooker so much, and after reading your reviews about "Brandon"))) I decided that it just suits me better now. I ordered it in the morning and brought it in the evening. Handsome, of course)))) And in our miniature kitchen it is generally so impressive))) In general, I decided to start with a compote, in order to deal with the buttons first. Everything worked out! Now I put rice milk porridge with a reprieve for the morning, let's see what happens))) Tomorrow I'll cook a casserole, the cottage cheese is already in store.

And I also came with a book with recipes, how pleasantly surprised I was to find there your recipes with your photos))) Now it will not be necessary to rewrite them or get into the computer. to cook something)) Thank you for your advice, opinions, recipes and reviews.

Accept the newbie)))) And while I'm going to finish reading this Temko, on page 41 already)))

Good afternoon, I have a question - the manual for 6050 says "When cooking meat broths, you can bring the contents of a pressure cooker bowl to a boil by covering the pan with a lid ....." and what is the best mode to use to bring to a boil? Thank you in advance
Elena Br
You must turn on the Soup mode, but cover the lid. After the contents boil, remove the foam and close the lid tightly. The Soup program will continue its work.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen

Briefly the results of the Brand 6050 pressure cooker after a trip to China:

The comment was accepted and put into operation. Almost all modes will have a lower time range, from 1 minute. But the change process is not quick. So a pressure cooker with a modified program will appear closer to October.

I haven’t read it, I’m writing about mid-July, but the answer has already been given ...
Elena Br
Yes, the 6050 multicooker pressure cooker will only arrive in mid-October with the changed cooking time settings. But don't worry, the device is excellent. If you have any questions about the preparation of this or that dish, write. There is a very friendly team here. We will help you.

Elena Br , and with silicone rings the problem has not yet been solved? I would like to buy a new ring that will not fall ... True, I noticed that if you do not cook it every day, it somehow dries up and behaves much more modestly ...

Again, the rice porridge did not come out as in the picture, the same cream color, the same crackers. I realized one thing, in the PORTRAIT mode, it is impossible to release the pressure immediately after the end of the program, the porridge is still boiling and spitting ... it’s not easy to wash the lid from the milk flakes a little, especially if you do it before work (when there’s no time at all), but this is already nit-picking ...

And one more thing ... I think that the automatic WARMING function needs to be canceled, you just gape a little, it’s gone (my millet porridge turned into an unsightly mess) and perhaps a second O-ring should be offered in the set for the pressure cooker (one for baking cereals, another for meat soups, etc.

Please tell me if Brand plans to launch video recipes for the pressure cooker (like REDMOND has a lot of video recipes, which is very convenient for me) ...

Yesterday I cooked rice porridge (Krasnodar rice) for 2 measuring cups and 10 glasses of milk! This is a big portion! The pressure cooker did a great job, nothing escaped!

That's why it is milk porridge, in order to languish longer, and there is no need to relieve pressure, the taste of milk porridge depends on it! It is better to regulate the cooking time immediately before turning on the pan, depending on the type of cereal, and leave the languor as an indispensable element of high-quality cooking of milk porridge!

- try to cook porridge in other milk, perhaps this will save you from small lumps. And if you don't like the creamy color of the milk, shorten the cooking time.
- we have already canceled the automatic "Heating" function in the multicooker after the "Milk porridge" mode. What started here! We wanted the best, it turned out as always. We were bombarded with requests to "return it as it was!" Now we will return again. Therefore, we will not remove the heating in the pressure cooker, so do not be offended.

Please tell me, the pressure cooker has only one rubber leg, it should be, it happens to slide on the table surface. Will there be lids for removable bowls on sale (it would be convenient to store one bowl in the refrigerator, for example with soup, and use the other)?

That's right, there is only one rubber leg in the 6050 multicooker pressure cooker.
As for the lids for the bowl, we are planning this accessory. But it won't go on sale until autumn.

I just want to try jellied meat, I never did it, but now I want to try it)))) And bake a biscuit, I will also have the first experience, but I hope with your wonderful recipes and explanations and I will succeed)))))

Dear forum users, good morning!
I really need your comments on the use of this miracle of technology!

Here I am a newbie, just registered (although I was reading this topic all evening yesterday), so I apologize in advance for the questions that you probably seem, if not idiotic, then with a touch of stupidity. I ask you to treat with understanding the person who did not deal with complicated household appliances and does not understand the instructions after reading it three times (Yesterday they brought me a Brand pressure cooker, I got to know it all evening, studied the recipe book .. I must say right away that before that I had no experience of dealing with pressure cookers or multicooker, but the disgustingly working Soviet Lysva stove in a rented apartment forced me to take action and resolve the issue in this way. So ...

I got acquainted with the instructions, got acquainted with the new book of recipes, published, as I understood, according to your recipes on this forum) And then I had questions.
1. in the book of recipes in the same section (for example, "soups"), in some recipes, it is suggested to cook under high pressure, and in the part - under pressure, somewhere about cooking under pressure nothing is written at all. Questions:
- Does the term "under pressure" also mean high pressure or "normal"?
- If in the recipe book in a number of recipes about cooking under any pressure, nothing is said at all, does this mean that during cooking the valve is reset or is it meant to be set to some other position?
What confuses me is that this pressure cooker positions itself as a multicooker, which means that in theory you can cook in it under normal pressure, but! I can't figure out if the "normal pressure" function is available for all cooking modes or is it only for a number of cooking modes? Hence the second question:

2. In the next topic it is written: in the Brand pressure cooker there are 7 modes of normal pressure and 7 - high.Could you explain to me, layman, in more detail, which modes correspond to which pressure) The fact is that for normal pressure I counted only 2 modes (did I count poorly?) And now there is dissonance in my head ..

3. Questions about the valve:
- I cannot understand how it should behave at normal pressure and at high pressure?
- I can't understand what it means "fixed the valve". People on the forums complain that the valve knocks out and comes out of it hellish steam during cooking. They are answered - "you have not fixed the valve." What does this mean and should it be done before every cooking or is it enough to do it once?

4. Question about cooking time.
- if I want to cook, say, soup under normal pressure, does this mean that I will need to double the cooking time? Or, in principle, the pressure cooker will not allow me to cook soup under normal pressure? What happens if I choose the wrong cooking pressure?
- Do I understand correctly that I need to wait every time for the pressure cooker to complete the program in order to open it and, say, add water or add quickly cooking products?

Uh, I didn't seem to forget to ask, though ...
Thanks to those who read this, and to myself, perhaps even cursing, I nevertheless decided to teach the girl wisdom, explaining clearly what was what. While I'm very afraid to mess up.

vernisag
melagrano Only the baking and roasting programs work without pressure, all others only under pressure. When baking, the regulator should be at the normal pressure position, when cooking for ave. Frying, I generally remove the lid and cover it with a glass one (from the pan) The valve is fixed, that is, put in the desired position. You cannot cook soup under normal pressure, only under pressure. Brand 6050 is a pressure cooker.
melagrano
vernisag So "no pressure" means normal pressure, and "under pressure" means high pressure, right? -I will ask again ten times, so that for sure ... This is all about the recipe book ..)
Thank you for clarifying, it is already becoming clearer)
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
melagrano, welcome to the forum!

And so in order:

1. Words "under pressure" and "under high pressure" are synonymous. That is, it means cooking under high pressure.... If the recipe does not say about pressure at all, be guided by the regime: No pressure / normal pressure - Baking and Frying assorted, Under pressure / high pressure - all other modes.

2. Modes allowing to cook "no pressure / under normal pressure"are Assorted pastries and frying. But remember, even during frying with the native lid closed, with sufficient water release, the valve can hiss, as if pressure is being set. If this does not suit you, you just need to open the lid and follow. times, perhaps use a lid suitable for the size of the frying pan, for example. Sometimes, frying juicy meat, when trying to gain pressure with a pressure cooker, I move the valve from the position High pressure and I bring the product to readiness for the last few minutes under high pressure.

3. "Lock valve" - this means to set the valve lever in the desired position and install correctly, that is, until it clicks, and not in an intermediate position. Practice on the switched off CB switch the valve lever in different positions and you will feel the very click.

4. Soup "without pressure" cannot be cooked. The cooking time depends on the volume of the soup and the ingredients included in it. I mean, noodles soup and bean soup will take different amounts of time. And yes, until the pressure cooker completes the program, you will not be able to add anything, salt, etc. (except for the Baking and Frying modes).

At first, the head is dizzy with concepts and terms, but having cooked something a couple of times, you will understand the cooking algorithm, fall in love with the pressure cooker and will no longer be able to part with your assistant.
Good luck in learning and if anything, we are always happy to help.
melagrano
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @ Thank you very much for the detailed explanation, it is very pleasant to meet understanding and willingness to help!

You write that "Sometimes, when frying juicy meat, when trying to build up pressure with a pressure cooker, I move the valve from the High pressure position and bring the product to readiness for the last few minutes under high pressure."... Do you change the mode to "meat" or manually set the cooking time? Also, for now, I have absolutely no idea how to make the pressure cooker work not in automatic modes, but independently decide how much time to spend on what (

By the way, about the meat dearly beloved by me.) I’m just reading the recipes in the next topic and thinking about water on the advice vernisag.) For example, cooking loin:
We do not cut meat and tomatoes finely (if you use them for sauce, that is, beat with a blender, then it is better to remove the skin)
We coat the meat with adjika, mustard, salt, pepper, I also use lemon pepper. We put everything in a bowl, mix it, make it so that there is a pillow of tomatoes and onions under the meat and lay on the meat as well.
Let it stand for 40-60 minutes. We select the Meat mode, time is 20 minutes. The meat was cooked for about 30 minutes, then it stood on the heating for about 20 minutes. I really liked it. Served with quinoa.

here nothing is indicated about the use of water, although the selected program "meat" assumes it, since cooking is under pressure and the instructions clearly state - use water). Do I understand correctly that in this case the pressure cooker will take water to create steam just from meat and tomatoes? nothing will burn?

Good day. We bought this miracle of technology in a joint for three. Since we come home late from work and want to eat when nothing is ready yet. The first thing they tried to cook is buckwheat porridge with milk. I put it on the timer in the evening. As usual, I cook a mug of cereal in a saucepan per liter of milk. Well, salt and sugar, too, respectively. In the morning I was awakened by the smell of porridge. Arriving at the kitchen, I found that the whole kitchen was filled with milk, the valve was lying nearby. The porridge remained in the pressure cooker, but we could only eat it by adding milk. The morning began with cleaning the kitchen. I haven’t come up with something to scrub the porridge with. So tell me what I did wrong? I have no experience with such a technique. Maybe a big volume muddied? And today he poured water and drove it according to the program. It's okay. I have no complaints about the technique. But the first pancake is probably lumpy for me.

It is necessary to disassemble the valve as it gets dirty. But it's up to you to use it without first checking whether the installation is correct or not. But if you check, you will avoid the situation, which is described below.

As soon as I said that in my memory there is one case where the valve was not fixed, your message appears.
The valve popped out, because it was not correctly installed in the device.
You now need to wash everything thoroughly and reinstall the valve until it clicks.
Read more about this here. https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=165445.0
After correct valve installation, there should be no repetition of this situation.
