I'm going to get out of the underground a little. If I am silent, this does not mean that I am not experimenting. There were also not successful experiences, but very excellent ones.

Elena, I just want to reassure you - everything is OK with the O-ring. I hope so. That is, visually, it is good so much more than an additional lid, but it has never fallen into food.

I never managed to make friends with soups in the brand. Actually, I wanted to make a comment. Everybody writes that the device prepares quickly ... Of course, it is necessary to clarify that this is about small portions. I have a huge family, preparing food in a pressure cooker even longer than in a multicooker. So by experimenting, I have selected dishes suitable for multi and suitable for the brand.
Soups are definitely not on the list of successful pressure cookers. A full bowl of soup takes longer to cook than a multo.

Also, I could not make friends with baking on alternative modes (porridge, rice). The time is the same as in the BAKING mode, but I did not notice any taste differences (but I am not a gourmet).
But in the BAKING mode, everything turns out very well and faster than in the cartoon. I bake now only in the brand.

The pressure cooker is definitely meat. A kilogram slice of frozen pork turned into a soft treat in 45 minutes.

Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions

I threw a frozen lump, threw frozen vegetables on top, sprinkled with salt, made a sour cream mesh and set the game on game mode. All together it took 45 minutes.
Just as I like it - lazy and not troublesome. I do it quite often now.

Another dish for a pressure cooker is an omelet. I figured out the secret of a tall and fluffy omelet - the number of eggs. The more eggs, the higher the omelet.
Of course these are jokes, everyone has their own omelette secret. But I really like my secret. I started experiments with 10 eggs, it turned out very tasty and there were very few. Now we are making 15 eggs and 8 tablespoons of sour cream. Grated cheese, salt, herbs to taste. You can also fill it with shrimps, or you can also throw sausages.
FRY / FISH mode. The total time is about 35 minutes. I open the lid immediately.

The first photos are 10 more eggs, so not very tall. The latter is our format!

So, with omelets, I diversified our breakfasts very wonderfully. I checked it in a slow cooker - I tried it, it doesn't turn out so cool. It takes more time, and this is no longer interesting.

Another dish that turns out great in a pressure cooker is lazy lasagna in the BAKE mode. I'm doing lasagna Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions Electric pressure cooker Brand 6050 - reviews and opinions

I’m just chewing on the casserole. Before that I cooked them in a cartoon, and today I decided to try them in the brand.
On the BAKERY, set the time to 59 minutes, opened the roof immediately, but let the casserole cool down a little. The curd was 800g. It turned out tasty, good, but slightly damp.
With casseroles, it is generally difficult to achieve a stable result - either cottage cheese is different, then sour cream, then eggs.
And I haven't mastered the beauty of the curd even in the cartoon yet.

Everything is okay with my ring t-t-t. In general, I like all the dishes from Brand.Especially fish on Kasha-6 minutes (the steak from salmon or trout is amazing), pastries - bread like lavash, charlotte wonderful and jellied meat on Diche my husband really liked it.

Oh girls !!!
A relative from Moscow brought a similar pressure cooker to my friend.
Now he cooks only there - he is happy, he is not overjoyed.
I put me on your forum.
While I was reading and watching your photos with culinary masterpieces, I went to eat 2 times so that I would not choke on my saliva)))

To be honest, I've never even paid attention to such things before. In my concept, a pressure cooker was a saucepan that was tightly closed and put on fire.
But apparently I have lagged far behind life ..... everything is convenient here - both a delay in cooking, and an automatic shutdown after the end of the program. You don't have to wait. Turned on - and forgot. And I remembered - it's time to eat))

The question is: where are you from? The profile is not specified and therefore it is not possible to send specifically. Indicate the city / country and more information will be announced to you. And lastly, if you are still from Russia (the city does not matter), then at least you can buy this sv on the manufacturer's website. True, it is not available yet (but dealers have it too long ago), but it is expected to arrive very soon. Click on "Notify on sale" on the website and you will be notified as soon as it appears in stock.

I am from Russia, Berezniki (Perm region)
Thanks a lot for the tip with this miracle.
Soon I hope I will join your ranks of culinary magicians.
True, I have never cooked in pressure cookers, but I hope with your wonderful forum I will be, like you, a magician.

I'm a coward too.
before starting to cook, I read the instructions many times. at the beginning of the topic we already discussed safety - this pressure cooker has several degrees of protection. so, in theory, it should not jerk.

Well, I generally resisted for a long time. Many people advised me to buy a pressure cooker, but I was afraid. now I'm used to it. so if you like SPORTS, then you don't need to be afraid - everything will work out!

Julia, if you carefully read Temka, then you already know how afraid I was and how simple everything turned out to be. In general, now I have little idea how it was possible to do without a pressure cooker in everyday life.
And it cannot jerk there, it has 5 degrees of protection!

I had 2 cookers, and now I have two electric pressure cookers. Yes, I heard about horrors with explosions - but I still don't really understand how this could happen to the people.
SupercoW
now I'm afraid of the pressure cooker. that is, I understand that it is unlikely that something terrible would have happened, but I was really scared ... from the room it sounded scary.

I cook milk porridge, everything is as usual ... milk, cereals, sugar, salt, butter ... proportions as always. after a while, a terrible noise began and steam poured out of the steam release valve. I almost jumped from fright. I calmed down, came up, thought that I had forgotten to close the valve - I began to pull it, and it would fall on me with renewed vigor. I burned my finger ... I realized that the valve was closed.

I didn't quite understand what needed to be done right away, I just pressed CANCEL and I'm waiting now. already began to hiss a little quieter. but what was that ?!

I found Elena's advice on disassembling the valve, as it cools down, I will ask my husband to look, but for some reason I am now afraid to approach her a second time.
Elena Br
At first glance, I saw two reasons: clogging of the float and a build-up of excess pressure.
- Be sure to inspect the valve, but also pay attention to the float. Perhaps he was clogged and could not rise up. From here the pressure was not accumulated, but heating continued.
- There may be another option. If the situation repeats, lightly press down on the pointer located on the pressure regulator. (The pin is the one with which we translate the pressure regulator into one position or another.) If it does not help, then you will need to contact the service center. Repeat the "Porridge" mode on the water, and be sure to write the result.

P.S. Almost all electric pressure cookers have overpressure protection. And as a rule, it is a mechanical device. Therefore, we can safely say that an electric pressure cooker will not "spill" over the kitchen. A pressure cooker can only scare the noises when releasing steam.
Melanyushka
I had something like that a couple of times, but when the pressure was set. It helped to press the lid itself lightly, as if to slightly press it down more tightly to the saucepan, and another tip from Soviet pressure cookers - to slightly raise the saucepan itself and slightly (just slightly !!!) shake it from top to bottom, the float valve pops out immediately and then the usual cooking ...

I only had this when I didn't turn the pressure regulator high.
Well, here I thought that I had accidentally forgotten, although I already have a habit of ALWAYS CHECKING THE VALVE. but no, the valve was just high and steam was pouring out of it, and when I started pulling it, the steam poured even more.

I immediately noticed this - the float was raised and nothing leaked out of it.

I remember that someone had something similar, so I started to pull the valve. I tried to press, only not on the pins, but on the valve itself ... with my bare hands ... there was little pleasant.

aha, it will be possible to check on the water ... approx. only probably I'll ask my husband, and I'll go for a walk myself.

Girls, I'm completely confused. When I came across the first reviews about the multicooker I thought "this is a miracle I folded the food, closed it and a mustache ... got delicious dishes and even to come home in the evening" BUT !!!!!! the further I read this forum, the more sad I became ... you need to "dance" around the multicooker almost as much as around the pan, and even cook longer in time .... and now I stumbled upon a pressure cooker, tell me what is still better buy a multicooker or a multicooker pressure cooker so that you can hang around in the kitchen less ... just a lot of work, little time, but you don't want to eat semi-finished products
Melanyushka
Start with a multicooker, it will really save time and there is no need to watch her in the kitchen, she will cook everything herself and turn off, or even cook something in the morning. And then you will understand what else you need in the kitchen to free up your time.
In my opinion, you need a multicooker, a pressure cooker, an airfryer, a bread maker, and an oven, too, without work. It's just that all these appliances are real helpers in the kitchen, and not just a set of different and different equipment.
Vasilica
luntik5, do not be intimidated by multicooker and pressure cooker. I really don't have brands, but the principle of all cartoons is the same. You can really throw everything and "leave", just when it starts to turn out very tasty and very quickly, and even without your participation, then you start to think, what else could I cook such delicious food and ... rushed. If you really do not have enough time, then a cartoon (or a quick car) will help you out a lot. Better yet, both. I distributed the responsibilities of both, porridge (from evening to morning) and baked goods are prepared for me by a pressure cooker, and soups and main courses are cooked by a cartoon. Take any, you will not regret it! Good luck!

THIS IS IT! the most correct formulation of what is happening to us all.

luntik5, really still depends on your personal approach to cooking. so I often read that many people also fry in soup and fry the meat before stewing ... and much more. if you cooked like that on the stove, then you will do the same thing in the cartoon / quickmult. but simply the end of the process will take place without your participation. it is very convenient and really saves time.
if we talk about me, then probably it is impossible to find a lazier mistress. I never fry for soups and pilafs, I never bring meat for stewing to a golden crust.
that is, I have practically no preparatory work at all. and now my cooking process takes well, in fact, a minimum of time. Well, for example, soup takes about 10 minutes of my time - peel potatoes, cut them, put them in a cartoon, throw a piece of meat out of the freezer, throw frozen vegetables out of the freezer, rinse the cereals and add salt, lavrushka. all.
I do all this at once. I do not wait for something to boil there. I threw everything, filled it with water. turned on the SPF mode and left. I came when I need to eat, that is, I don't even turn off.

Well, yes, in order to speed up the process so much, I immediately cut the meat into the pieces I need before freezing (for stewing, for soup, for something else) and immediately process the carrots and onions (I rub on a food processor and ice it in portions).
if you still need to cut the meat and rub the vegetables, add another 10 minutes, but nothing else.
well, isn't it easy?

about a multicooker or a pressure cooker ... it seems to me that you need to start with a multicooker. it seems to be more versatile. exactly what to start. and then be sure to join us - an airfryer, a pressure cooker, a bread maker, not for a slow cooker ...
luntik5

Thanks for the prompt answer, most likely a slow cooker will suit me, because it’s going to be fried soon and we probably will not be able to eat, but about another equally useful technique ... Good day everyone! I have been reading the forum from the moment when I decided to diversify my life in the kitchen, namely to purchase a kitchen assistant, since March. Thank you very much everyone for the information. I do not like to waste time on cooking, there are many interesting things in life, the help of my husband is useless, breaking a man is not necessary. And the situation was already critical, every day the same thing, again this food. She is also picky about the quality of food and its usefulness. I bought a yogurt maker, and for one thing I asked about the multicooker, I didn’t believe that it was the right thing, I looked at them in the store, including Brand 6050 and other models. Then on the Internet, I downloaded the instructions and read the reviews. But the multicooker upset me, the cooking time there is very long, well then why would I need it, and then I quickly bought a pressure cooker-multicooker. The first 3 weeks I was in such euphoria and under the impression that I could not believe that it could be so quick, interesting and tasty to cook. I cook everything only in it, until now, I adapted quickly. Now I have a lot of tasty and healthy food, even when I cook in it in the evening after a working day, I know that time is only wasted on preparing the ingredients, 5-20 minutes and that's it, I'm free. I can do my kids or my own business! I still admire it, this is a revolutionary turn in food preparation. I cook porridge in the morning, and I go to the shower myself, or I can put the porridge on the timer in the evening. Venigred is now very often on the menu, I have adapted to steam the vegetables already diced (special press), in a pressure cooker it takes 10-15 minutes for everything, and the total time with preparation and slicing is 30 minutes, for the whole venigred! Pilaf, meat, chicken, cabbage rolls, even boiling potatoes, baking ... everything is fine. There was a problem that the pressure cooker hissed strongly, liquid began to spray out of the hole and a lot of liquid poured out, I quickly found my bearings, turned it off, figured it out. The reason was the clogging of the overflow. Herculean porridge was cooked. But this is all nonsense compared to its advantages. I consider it an irreplaceable device in the kitchen!

Elena Br, disassembled the valve for prevention. wiped it, washed it ... talked to him. did not help.
cooked ordinary potatoes - soars again. pressed on the pointer - there were no changes at all. I pressed (already with a fork) on the valve itself - it stopped hovering, but as soon as I removed the fork, I started again.

But where did the excess pressure come from? was not, was not and suddenly on those - found.
I have one suggestion. It is hardly true, but you never know ... a couple of days ago, my milk porridge ran out very strongly. inexplicably. suddenly she felt like it and ran away. in any case, a little porridge was poured UNDER the heating disc (it’s so poured that I can’t get it in any way). and so I think, this porridge cannot create a temperature under the disk more than necessary?

The other day I fried potatoes very quickly.
I cut 3 large potatoes, poured vegetable oil on the bottom of the bowl, chose the Fry-Meat program and filled in the potatoes, salted. I closed the lid and turned the pressure lever high. The pressure built up and quickly enough (just a little bit of liquid). After 5 min. turned off and released the pressure. The potatoes were already cooked and the bottom with a crispy crust. But I decided to brown it a little more and therefore mixed the potatoes and turned on the Fry-Meat again for 5 minutes. already without a cover. All.
Very tasty, fried and juicy at the same time.

I also really enjoyed cooking chicken legs. I cook in the morning before work, in frying chicken I fry 6 legs, salt and season with curry (mill), add 3-4 potatoes cut into 4 parts, pour a glass of sour cream with 3 grated garlic cloves and milk porridge for the program. Running away to work, I turn off the heating. Running home from work I find only an empty pan ..... In general, of all the legs that I cooked, I got only one when I cooked for dinner in the evening. And we have grief - my mother and part-time grandmother of my son and mother-in-law of her husband decided to leave us and live for their own pleasure.
I understand her, of course. And it's time for us, finally, to start living completely independently, independently. But here I am very thoughtful about cooking. I don't really like this business, it takes up a lot of my time, I hate glancing around all the time, stirring, and the result is unreliable (the pies, for example, have all burnt lately), the pilaf turned out to be awesome once, and the other two times. .. I don't even want to talk ...

So I'm very worried about cooking, than I can feed my men in the absence of my grandmother. And then I heard an advertisement for multicooker on TV, overcame my skepticism and went to watch on the Internet what and how. It turned out that for me this is the very thing that is so necessary. It's just some kind of happiness - I threw away the food and forgot, I came when everything was ready and helpfully piped up - the meal was served. And you don't need to keep track of time. And there is a delayed start. We have an old-style gas stove, the oven is terrible (and we can't change it, we are renting an apartment for now). So a slow cooker / pressure cooker could really help.

But now another question is the agony of choice. Oh, how hard it is for me to choose. I beg you to help. I think, either just take a slow cooker (Brand 37502, 37501 or Redmond M70) or already a Brand 6050 pressure cooker. In the multicooker I liked the opportunity to make homemade yoghurts, plus everything. The Brand brand impresses with its ceramic-coated bowls. Redmond - there is a lot of everything, it seems, but whether it is necessary to overpay. 37502 or 37501 - I'd rather have a lot of automatic programs, but I would also like to keep the possibility of setting ... Or really a pressure cooker? After all, it's really faster to cook! Dinner together is delicious and healthy to bungle quickly - it's great. But what about yoghurts then? Or buy a yoghurt maker separately? Or is it a cartoon, but which one to stop?

I beg you, please advise with the choice.
vernisag
Of course cartoon! why clutter the kitchen ... Brand 37501 in my opinion is a very good option! Learn to cook in a cartoon, buy a pressure cooker to catch up, they perfectly complement each other and your family will always be well-fed and happy.

Vernisag, thanks for the answer!
But still, I still don't quite understand what a cartoon can do, what a pressure cooker can't? (except for yogurt, as I understand it, the Brand 6050 pressure cooker cannot do it). Please explain in more detail the benefits of multithreading over a pressure cooker.
Elena Bo
Take a pressure cooker. Everything is the same, but faster. Yogurt, if desired, can be made in a pressure cooker. As an example, yoghurt at Panasonic. The same principle - a napkin on the bottom, cans in water, heating min. for 10 and wait .... Or buy a yogurt maker. And perhaps after a month of cooking you will find a pressure cooker a little, then buy a slow cooker.
vernisag
The taste and color, as they say ... In a pressure cooker, of course, faster, but I like to cook more in a cartoon, when you can look in, see, try ...
Elena Bo
I cook on autopilot. I never even taste salt. Maybe many years of practice. Therefore, I see no problem in the blocked lid. And the convenience in the speed of preparation is obvious.
