I, too, have no problems with the lid ... in principle, I do not understand how you can cut yourself.
Well ... we came to the conclusion that, in some instances, the edge is probably not completely folded.
By the way, girls, Melanyushka, vernisag, can you post photos of this edge so that we can compare?

Nevushka, give the recipe for your charlotte. I want to try baking in St., so that it will certainly work out. 38 minutes with cooking, or heating only for 38 minutes. Thank you.
I apologize for the late reply, for some reason I didn't receive notifications ..
Beat 5 eggs, add 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour. Mix. Mix with 3 diced apples.
Rice mode (under pressure) - 20 min.
38 minutes - after cooking, she stood on heating, because I forgot about her
In general, I take out pastries after the end of the program ... if I don't forget about them ..

Here I have another problem ...

1. If you cook at low pressure, and during the process, for example, frying, you open the lid several times, then the plastic seal, the ring will fly off - and you can't put it hot on the hot lid! In the process of frying meat, the ring flew several times, and directly into the pan for food! As a result, when frying any food, I began to use an ordinary glass lid.

2. Cases began to appear when, after cooking any dish, when opening the lid, the ring also flies off it completely or tries to fall out, sometimes I manage to grab it with my hand.

Question to Elena Br - What does it mean?
Elena Bo
The silicone ring is stretched. I do the same, but if I tilt the lid. Truth in food does not dump, I have time to convey to the sink. It is necessary to buy in stock, they promised that they would be on sale.

This is called "put on a needle"

With careful care, in a couple of months the ring fell into disrepair !? And what - now to buy constantly rings?
The pressure cooker won't work without the ring!

Now I am not ready to answer you anything. We will definitely deal with this issue and discuss it with the manufacturer.

Such a goal was not set, to put someone on the needle.
We received information on this problem. As we figure it out, we will immediately report.

We are not talking about the lid itself, but about the plate on which the plastic ring is put on, the edge of the plate is bent inward and not completely (not to the base of the plate) is rolled up, in the process of washing such an injury occurred, I tried to wash everything very carefully, to a drop and ran my finger along this sharp edge, now my plate is only with a brush on a long handle. I will try to take a picture in the evening and post pictures.

Oh, girls, I just noticed right now ... And that this pressure cooker has a convex bowl? Or did it seem to me that the biscuit is concave from below?
It seems like they said that the bowls are similar to 37501. And the 37501 has an even bottom in the bowl ...
I have two bowls - one "native", and the second - I bought a spare lacuchina for the pressure cooker. She fit perfectly with Brand's pressure cooker. And this one, the second, has a slightly curved bottom inside.
By the way, the bottom around the edge of my own bowl is already tainted - why not? In principle, it does not bother me - but interesting!

So is this lacucine bowl convex? Clear. Does it have better coverage than Brand's Bowl? By the way, my bottom of the bowl is also slightly tipped, not much, but there are small and light scratches. This happened in 1.5 months of intensive use (November-December; since then I have not used 37501 anymore, because not at home).

There are no spare parts for the Lakucin pressure cooker, and it seems there weren't any. The people have adapted to use bowls from Land Life pressure cookers; I also called Landlife, they got new bowls - I went there and bought them with an elastic band.
Regarding scratches - no, it's a bit early, I bought mine in February, I use two bowls alternately.

I just thought Is this cup really suitable for the brand? After all, it has a convex bottom, while the brand's bowl does not. Is there enough tight contact with the heating element? Wouldn't such a replacement damage the pressure cooker and bowl?

There is a certain bulge in Land Life on the inside, and by the way, Brand also has some bulge - aren't these bowls made at the same factory?
And how can it hurt - if you put them next to them, they are practically twin sisters.
I have an easy attitude to technology - it will break, throw it away, buy a new one.

I understood Taperich: both (branded and lendlife) bowls have a convex bottom. Aga Tokma then the pressure-cooker bowl and the multi-cooker (37501) are similar only in their coating. And they said they were the same. Heh

Nobody said they were interchangeable. The conversation was about coverage. And the pressure cooker bowl is wider and does not fit into the multicooker. Elena Br wrote about this in the topic.
The inside of my bowl is like new, no scratches, I always just use a silicone spatula to get in there. Outside there is a scratch along the edge of the bottom, but I think this is from the heating element, the wear. The outside doesn't bother me.

Is it in your MV? In North East, on the contrary, along the very edge, where the bottom passes into the walls, there are scratches. Well, I have it. And in MV 501 my bottom is like new, not a single scratch. And inside both bowls (both MV and SV) are as new. The coverage is very good.

Scratches - outside! Inside - everything is OK!

Here is a photo of the edge of the plate, I don’t know it will be seen from the photographs that the bent edge does not reach the canvas of the plate. But where the girls say that everything is smooth and rounded, then this roundness is kind of open to me, and drops, and grains of spices, and so on, can get inside this curl, from where it is necessary to wash out all that is superfluous, and this very underdeveloped the edge is very sharp to the end. Now I think now just to squeeze the entire plate along the edge with pliers, well, so as not to accidentally get hurt again.

Uh, nooo, girls, I didn’t mean such scratches. I have no such pah. I mean ... how should I put it? ... light dark thin stripes inside the bowl at the bottom ... you see, these scuffs appeared because of patamusht macaroni, nothing else got into the bowl. But I didn't even notice. I just looked closely at the bowl one day and saw. I don't think it affects the cooking. And outside, the bowl is barely rubbed in the center from contact with the heater.

I manage to reread something for a long time ... I feel that until I master everything that you wrote without me, there will be nothing to write. So I write it as it is, and I will reread you gradually.

Unfortunately, the circumstances for me were not entirely successful, because I was not particularly up to the experiments. But as soon as the stars were located as it should - I got down to business.

I still can't make friends with soup and milk porridge. Rather, we did not quarrel, but personally for my family (6 people) I did not see the benefits of cooking soups and milk porridge in a pressure cooker. Very sorry. Cooking a full pot of soup and two liters of milk porridge takes longer than in a multicooker. But at the same time, you cannot open the saucepan earlier, and this makes you angry.

In general, I decided to take a little walk through baking. I tried my favorite recipes.

SupercoW
girls, read, looked ... and did not understand - on which mode is it better to bake?
I did not notice the unity - someone bakes on RICE, someone on porridge. is there any difference?

Cupcakes on Pastry, and I bake biscuits on Rice (I haven't tried it on porridge). The result is tender, not overdried inside, with a thin crust.

Pour milk into a ladle, add semolina, salt, sugar, put on the stove and bring to a boil with continuous stirring. As it thickens - it's done! Three minutes of business! Why do you need to cook semolina porridge in a pressure cooker?

Tell me how to cook semolina porridge? Something didn't work out for me.

Finely ground cereals such as semolina, chaff, wheat grits, corn grits and others, it is better not to cook in a pressure cooker. Under pressure, the groats are compressed, a dense mass is obtained.

In a multicooker, such cereals turn out well
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
And I cook corn porridge in SV. It works wonderfully well. But I haven't tried semolina. She is not held in high esteem with us.

Semolina porridge in a pressure cooker, as well as in a multicooker, will turn out to be lumps, because it must be stirred at the beginning of cooking, but how will you do this in MV? No, it’s possible to cook finitely, but the result doesn’t seem to please me at all.

Another option for milk porridge

"Milk porridge" mode.
While the porridge was preparing, I prepared a dressing:
Dissolve in a ladle 1 tbsp. l. honey, let it boil, add pear pieces, a handful of fresh cranberries, mix and boil until the berries are soft for a few minutes.
Decorate the finished porridge on top.

Very tasty!

Tell me how to cook semolina porridge? Something didn't work out for me.

there is no need to cook semolina in a pressure cooker. I cook it exclusively by falling asleep in boiling milk. I measure out the cereals, salt and sugar into a cup and at once pour everything in an even stream into boiling milk. Stir all the time, bring to a boil, stir for another half minute, turn off the heat and close the lid. After 10 minutes, the porridge (not jelly or semolina!) Is ready. Well, perhaps, stir again.

But the crushed wheat groats, which we call "Poltava", turned out very well just in the pressure cooker. The only thing you have to "play with" so far is to select the amount of water for different cereals.

For wheat, I took about 1.8 water.

For rice, it is necessary to reduce it by about a third of the usual amount (it turned out 1.2).

Today I cooked millet porridge, received rave reviews from my men. I measured it out with a large cup, it seems, 300 ml. I washed one cup of cereal, poured it with boiling water, after a couple of minutes poured this water, poured it with two cups of boiling water, added salt and a little butter (30-40 grams), closed the pressure cooker and set "rice".

Yes, I try to add butter to all cereals.

P.S. By the way, at one time I gave up cooking rice in the landlife. For some reason, it turned out very uneven there - steamed from below, and undercooked on top. In Brand, the rice is evenly cooked.
