And again, milk porridge. This time on one milk, for 1 st / m rice 5 st / m milk.

The result was the same as boiled before, 50 minutes and left overnight in the switched off MV, for 9 hours, in the morning for 12 minutes warming up.

Yesterday there was a second attempt to make yogurt. This time I took another milk and for the starter Activia kifirnaya. It turned out much thicker and of exactly the consistency that I like (I don't like it when yogurt is so thick that a spoon is in it). But the time was not at all 2 or 3 hours ... After three hours, there was still only a slight thickening. I turned off the cartoon after five hours of the "Yogurt" mode + an hour he stood in the off cartoon.

In general, I gathered my thoughts on the multicooker in one pile:

Of the multicooker presented on the Russian market, Brand 37501 is the best choice today. A wide variety of programs allows you to cook a variety of dishes, and the presence of a manual mode further expands the capabilities of this super pot!
The multicooker has a good design, is easy to operate, and the set with tacks protects our handles. I would especially like to note the bowl: golden, velvety to the touch, the coating showed itself well when cooking. Even a little burnt food by an oversight goes away very easily. So far, this is the best non-stick coating I've seen.

Rice Mode - does an excellent job with its task. In addition to cooking cereals, you can cook pasta and other dishes that require water evaporation.
Buckwheat mode - is similar to Rice, but has an increased temperature at the end, I would choose this mode when I need a light frying inside. Buckwheat cooked in this mode is drier than cooked in Fig.
Baking mode - very convenient regulation of cooking time. Uniform heating.
Extinguishing mode - ideal for soft, juicy meats, can also be used in soup. In this mode, baked milk turns out well, but the maximum time is not always enough - 4 hours.
Steam mode - a classic of healthy food, can be used for cooking in boiling water, such as pasta.
Milk porridge mode is the perfect breakfast solution. The range of the set time allows you to cook porridge from any cereals from soft rolled oats to corn, which usually requires a long cooking. Porridge does not run away with any milk. The sides of the pot are above the porridge level and the pot lid is kept clean.
Frying mode - frying at high temperature, in fact, a replacement for an ordinary frying pan. I really like to fry potatoes on it
Yogurt Mode - the temperature may be slightly higher than necessary, or the minimum time should be reduced. If you cook for the shortest time, the whey separates, which indicates that the yogurt has stood. Of course, the quality of milk and sourdough will greatly influence the result.
Manual mode - the ability to set the temperature with a step of 20 degrees is very pleasing, although the gradation is 10 grams. It would be more convenient. Can be used for deep frying. And in general, wherever the built-in mode did not suit.
In my subjective opinion, the existence of the Vexation mode is controversial. I would either replace it with Soup, or change the temperature regimes so that it lives up to its name. For the first two hours, either gentle defrosting or soaking of the product (legumes) occurs. It is not very clear how temperatures change with increasing cooking time. In this mode, it is good to cook meat, which must first be saturated with something. And also pea porridge.
For me personally, for the perfection of this multicooker, the Soup mode is not enough, it would also be interesting to languish at 80-90 degrees.
For more convenient steam cooking, it is worth adding an upper food rack to the package.

Well ... it's time to correct our recipe conclusions:

Rice mode. Regular long rice - proportions 1: 2. Krasnodar rice with vegetables - proportions 1: 1.25. Mix of rice (with wild) - proportions 1: 2. Pilaf - proportions 1: 3 (you can also 1: 2).
Buckwheat mode. The proportions are 1: 1.5. Potatoes in orange juice. Naval pasta ("just enough water to cover the pasta").
"Milk porridge" mode. Proportions 1mst: 1l. Hercules - proportions 1: 3. Corn grits - proportions 1: 3 (without heating). Millet porridge - proportions 1: 4 (without heating).
Steam mode. Large root crops - max. time (better than 50 minutes - maybe then try on "Steam-Meat", where the cooking time is possible up to 2 hours). Small roots - max. time 42 minutes on "Steam-Vegetables".
The "languor" mode. The milk is not stewed enough (but if you then boil a little, it acquires a caramel shade). Meat can be defrosted and cooked in this mode. The meat can be stewed (maybe the jellied meat will work out). "Orange chicken" - 5 hours. Legumes work well, but they crack a little.
Frying mode. The temperature rises from "Vegetables" to "Meat". It is better to fry the chicken on the "Fish". On "Zharka-Fish" vegetables are fried until tender with the lid closed in 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Fried potatoes on "Fried Vegetables" - 30 minutes (with the lid closed and stirring occasionally).
Baking mode. Sponge cake - 1 hour. Charlotte with frozen berries - 1 hour 20 minutes. Cottage cheese casseroles for 500g of cottage cheese 1 hour. Wheat and wheat-rye bread turns out perfectly in 1 hour (but you can brown the top later). Cupcake with dried fruits - 1 hour 20 minutes. Muffin with prunes and peaches - 1 hour Omelettes - 20 minutes (with pre-fried vegetables, etc.) Chocolate cake - 1 hour 10 minutes. Cherry pie - 1 hour 15 minutes. Curd cake - 1 hour.
Extinguishing mode. Cabbage - 2 hours (1 hour for the filling). Pieces of meat - 1 hour. Soup can be cooked in this mode (broth does not boil during cooking). Borscht - 1 hour Buckwheat soup with vegetable broth - 30 minutes (with pre-frying vegetables). Simmer milk for 4 hours (although 4 hours is not enough, it is better than on languishing). Pea puree - proportions 1: 2, time 2.5 hours. Pork pork - 2 hours 30 minutes (with pre-frying 40 minutes - 10 minutes on each side). Vegetables - 30 minutes. Whole grains - 1 hour (+ 6 hours heating). Cutlets - 40 minutes on each side. Pork in tomato sauce - 2 hours.
Yoghurt mode. In bottles on a napkin in water on "hangers" - 3.5 (possibly 2) hours + 1 hour in the switched off cartoon. Ryazhenka (1 liter of baked milk + 1 Actimel) - 4 hours (more is possible, it will be thicker and sour).
"Manual" mode. Sponge cake - 150 ° C 1 hour Simmer milk at 100 ° C for 6-8 hours. Defrosting meat at 60 ° C for 45-60 minutes.

And, of course, I think we will still rule themTesting multicooker Brand 37501

It's bad that in this mode the countdown starts from 6 o'clock. Practice shows that this is a lot. Please note !!!!!!!!!!!

Good day.
When we were developing the "Yogurt" mode, we were guided by the time of preparation of yogurt from dry sourdough culture (6-12 hours). And the signal in this mode sounds at the moment when the milk temperature is favorable for such bacteria.
The fact that yoghurt is prepared much earlier surprises me a little. I very often cook yogurt in the Brand 37502 multicooker, and never set the cooking time less than 6 hours.
And yet, we will definitely take your suggestions into account when developing subsequent models of multicooker.

and I, in anticipation of multi, could not resist and also tried yogurt. (The young ladies experimented so temptingly!) True, without multi.
But on dry starter culture (I took 2 * 10 ^ 9-ampoule for 5 cubes - for 1 liter of milk in a pharmacy lactobacillus) and 6% ordinary pasteurized milk.
In jars "shoulder-length" in warm water. The temperature (with a thermometer, how decent!) Was 41-37 degrees (it cooled down, despite the fact that it wrapped the saucepan).
My yoghurt turned out to be thick - as much as a spoon is worth it - on average in 3-4 hours. She put it in the evening, after which she solemnly put this stuff in the refrigerator for 4-5-7 hours until morning.
It was the same with the use of Actimel without additives instead of the leaven. Maybe I was lucky with fresh milk, of course :)

There are two kids in the house, I think the cartoon is much more practical at the moment. It would be great if a book with recipes was published for our Brandiks. MORE.

Ivanovna, I would not put the question like that, a cartoon or a bread maker. For me, these are two very useful devices. In cotton dough, yeast dough turns out so cool, you can't knead it with handles, and knead into dumplings-dumplings in no time and your own bread, useful. And the slow cooker is a separate "song".

17.Rice & fried noodles and steamed cutlets (simultaneous cooking)

Today I cooked both steam pads and garnish at the same time Testing multicooker Brand 37501

Added 1 toons of rice, 3 tots of water, salt.

Buckwheat mode. After 43 minutes (I specially timed it) we get a delicious dinner: both cutlets and a side dish.

Testing multicooker Brand 37501 Testing multicooker Brand 37501

Conclusions:

1. How I like the Frying mode in this multicooker!

I used to fry noodles for this side dish in a pan, since it was simply impossible to do this in a Panasonic multicooker. And then I was already cooking in a multicooker.

And today, on the Frying (meat) mode, I fried the vermicelli until pleasant brown in just a few minutes.

2. Buckwheat mode worked perfectly, the rice was cooked well, the cutlets are ready.

3. And of course there is a "minus": if I hadn't had a double boiler from Panasonic, I would not have been able to cook this dinner at the same time.
therefore strongly I recommend completing the Brand 37501 multicooker two steamers (internal and hinged).

And I advise everyone who has not cooked this side dish to try it.
