I really liked how the MUM whisk turns. Kenwood is losing, of course.
Yes, her ... There are different corollas. I already wrote and showed that half a beer mug of foam was formed from 1 squirrel.

For me, so bait-pampering all the same

But I bought for the sake of a cube cutter and a shredder ... A large family needs to be fed.
Plus, whip the whites by hand like a kitchen machine - with a mixer, the hand will fall off to beat.
Blender wanted a good one - he is frankly better in Kenwood.
And for the test, of course, too.
And in general, I want everything to work perfectly - this probably does not happen!
There are pluses in Bosh, and in Kenwood.

I compared the course of the beaters in Kenwood, Bosch Mum and Bosch Multitaylent.
Kesha whips well, but he seems to be walking in a circle (just like Bosch Multitaylent), and Mum's whisk turns out right. Because of this, Mum collects everything from the walls well, and sometimes you have to stop the car at Kesha and scrape it off the walls, help him.

I agree. For Ken, they even give a silicone spatula to help.
Yesterday I started 4 pancakes in Mumchik and even armed myself with a spatula to help.
Shish me. Left nothing on the walls.

I wanted to cry when I cut all the salads by hand on New Year's, and Mum was resting in the service.
My back hurts to stand (injury), but I can't cut while sitting. I cut with cans with my family, and the holiday is already passing without joy ...
And the season of conservation is also a joy to cut by hand ...
I don't even know what to do without an assistant!
Rituslya
stalena, Helen, yes. This is all very serious and dangerous. May God grant you health for many years!
Let the assistant serve you now for a long time and regularly.

Artemich, I won't tell you about the 5th series of mum. But with the 20th MaxxiMum I am very happy. The head walks when kneading the dough, but not much. I kneaded on dumplings a month and a half ago, now I don't remember how it was. But the process did not cause any concerns. There was a case - I made a sausage emulsion in a blender and overheated the engine a little. Disconnected, cooled down and then started working again. But it is better to discuss them in the profile next topic https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=397246.0

Bosch MUM 54251, the one with the cubes.
Elena, I also have this particular model, I have been using this combine for 4-5 years already, pah-pah, so far everything is fine, I turn it on not every day, but often. I read about your adventures ... I just feel sorry for the machine. How could this happen to him. The "meat grinder" digs in a little through my attachment, when I process a lot of mushrooms into caviar in the winter. It somehow alerted me now. How soon did these problems start? Judging by the fact that the store returned the money, was there still a guarantee?

Answer the owners of Bosch MUM52120.

I have a harvester of this series, only without a meat grinder. I am very pleased! I have been using it for almost three years. I bought him another whisk for beating and another bowl. Now I get high in the kitchen - any cake, any cream - no need to wash, dry.

First of all - biscuit dough and creams. Custard protein including. She even interrupted out of habit.
Dough for dumplings, dumplings, pasties (hook) (including custard - a metal bowl, pour boiling water there). But I do not knead very large portions - at once. Sorry for the unit. His head moves when kneading. If you need more - there is a bread maker.

And I knead yeast on pizza when my hands are too lazy to get dirty

We often use a shredder: cabbage, pancakes, carrots for a Korean salad are not very long, but still not with our hands, carrots for freezing in the fall. In a jug blender I cook mayonnaise and mashed potatoes a couple of times. I prefer to make pureed soups with a blender-leg (in my model, the jug is plastic).

Oh, yes: I also really like that the set includes a bag for attachments. Everything is compact, easy to store.

And this is how - the head moves ?! Mine is so strong on its rubber feet and everything is fine with his head, but why is your head moving?
Angora
Ilmirushka, if I have a portion of dumplings dough of 3-4 glasses of flour (in the sense of a combine))), the head at the end of the batch is already moving along the turning line. Therefore, I try to make the portions smaller. (and how many are your speeds? Maybe the powers are different? Mine has four).

Girls, tell me please what is better to buy mum 4880 or mum 54251, their price is almost the same., Only sold in different stores, here on the forum somewhere they wrote that 54251 in Mvideo handed over a lot of marriage., I just looked after it there, not I would like the marriage to be caught, but in other stores it is more expensive, help with the choice.
Angora
They are different. I looked in the catalogs. The fifth has a power of 900, the fourth has 600. The fifth has a holder for the attachments - a handbag (I have one, it's convenient), the fourth has a plastic stand.
And you can also look at the comparative plate - you can clearly see the difference. (For example, the fifth has a pulse mode).

hormilina
Angora, yes, I understand that they are different, that's why I ask you to suggest. I need a harvester mainly for kneading dough, a shredder once a year, and I have a separate meat grinder, but I also used it once for three years, the cube cutter is not at all relevant, in what the attachments will be stored is also not important, the main thing is the power for kneading to have enough. So I'm thinking which one to take
Rituslya
hormilina, Olya, I generally have the simplest Boshik 4 series with a capacity of only 500. In the presence of 3 basic nozzles.
But I am so pleased with him that words, probably, cannot be conveyed. It is so small that it fits on the corner of the table. I don't clean it at all. Kneads, whips, mixes to firm "5"
Sometimes, however, you want to switch from the fourth speed to a higher speed, but even with your four amazing assistant.
I bought an extra bowl for it and became so happy!
I think that episode 5 will be faster and more jovial, but 4 is not a miss at all.

I want to try the latest Boshiks, but so far I only want to.
Angora
hormilina, well then, without options, the one where you take more power. It will be more expensive - this is natural. But if the load is on the kneading, then it is better not to use any technique to the limit. Let the stock be better. I wrote that I was on the shore on 600 W - I interfere with large volumes in the bread maker. By the way, if it is necessary to knead the dough - yeast or unleavened, then a bread maker is preferable, it seems to me, than a combine. Well, or a special kneader.

With the same desires as yours, I bought myself a Bosch MUM 52120. Just with such a complete set as I wanted. I also have a meat grinder (Polaris, cheap, unpretentious, but I'm very happy with it). Therefore, I was looking for with the least bells and whistles.
Today they brought it, I have already experienced it. I kneaded the dough into whites, mixed the minced meat. Whipped up a biquit, a cocktail. It remains to test the grater.
There is a shredder, but it is very old and starts to fall apart. That's why I bought a kneader with a grater.
Very happy with the test. 700 watts is enough. And HP will cope with a large volume.
Take a closer look at this model, maybe it will suit you

Yesterday I made khinkali for the first time and smacked myself with a manual dough rolling machine. So, unexpectedly for myself, I ordered 2 nozzles for bosch mum 5. Dough sheeter and noodle cutter 7 mm.
Deer pussy
Svetlana, we are waiting for feedback, I also think I need this attachment or not
Lisichkalal
I took
Bosch MUZ5PP1
Immediately 2 together, so it turned out a little cheaper than separately. But I didn't dare to make noodles, 1.6 mm, in our family it is better to eat noodles.

This video helped me a lot to replace the broken one:

Lenusya
Thank you for the video
I have the same breakdown in my beloved Boshik mum 4757. The master said that the entire control board should be changed (and it is very expensive and with a 10-year-old harvester does not see the point in doing this) that he tried to repair it, but could not find resistance. What does it mean? Can I send him this video?
So my poor fellow has been standing for a year and a half

Chef, did you repair it yourself?

PS: I sent the video, I'll wait for an answer. In general, masters do not like being clever, they may not answer

The video helped me in terms of correctly assembling the unit, I could disassemble it without it
My problem was easier: the bushing of the motor gear cracked (the one into which the axle-blade is inserted for universal cutting), so it had to be replaced.
Jenealis
Lisichkalal, and do you need an adapter for them? or directly attached? I will very much wait for your feedback, because despite the empire, I secretly dream of a mum's attachment ...
Lisichkalal
EvgeniyaAs I understood, the adapter is not needed. It is for the 8th series like.
My tips will come the day after tomorrow. I will report, although until recently I was quite happy with my manual machine for dough and noodles

Svetochka, do you know the number of the dough sheeter and the noodles / spaghetti sheeters separately? What are the numbers to search for them on the Internet?
Lisichkalal
Irina, bosch MUZ5NV1 is a dough sheeter, muz5nv2 is a 7 mm noodle cutter, muz5nv3 is for a 1.6 mm noodle cutter.
Marfusha5
Lisichkalal, Svetochka, thank you very much. I don't see vermicelli 1.6 in Russia. It looks like it would be cheaper for me to buy a separate atlas with a motor. Or a Bosch MUZ5PP1 kit? I also want vermicelli. Okay, I'll think about it.
Lisichkalal
Usually I make noodles from semula (semolina) of durum wheat. The dough comes out very hard. Bosch coped with difficulty, I suffered and tormented the car. For such a test, a manual dough sheeter is still suitable.
And next time I did khinkali, here is the beauty! Dumplings dough, skated once or twice.
I'm happy with the attachments. Although I think it's expensive.
I'm thinking about how to use them to the maximum? Khinkali, noodles, dumplings, lasagna, manti, pasties, ravioli, and what else?
I dream of lavash, but I hate rolling the dough with my hands. And what kind of pita bread is 14 cm wide
Bijou
Normal pita bread. Food processor Bosch MUM 5 ... It is called "optimized".
I did the initial rolling of cakes for Napoleon with a rolling machine on a large hole, but I generally make many rolling cakes rectangular, according to the size of old baking sheets from "Dream". True, Medovik has not tried to roll here yet, he rolls out so well.)))

Some kind of optimized one!
My husband "got hooked" on breakfast in lavash from Tanyulya (egg, ham, cheese wrapped in lavash). The pita breads brought from Russia have run out, and I’m unlikely to wrap anything at 14 cm. Gotta try
Great idea with Napoleon, sorry I don't bake cakes
Taia
Lisichkalal, can be wrapped in a 14 cm envelope with a triangle. And there are other ways.
I would, but you're far away.

Taya, I want to try it today. The main thing is that the yolk does not leak out.

Lisichkalal, good afternoon! And tell me, what was the actual torment of the car? Last NG I made myself a gift in the form of this set for pasta and so far I haven't seen any problems
Lisichkalal
Good afternoon, Bosch had a hard time rolling this dough. The dough was passed through the rolling many times, as it was constantly torn, crumbled. Bosch had to work for a long time, he, poor fellow, even warmed up. With a manual dough sheeter, I would roll out faster and would not worry that I would break the car.

I made 14 cm pita bread. I liked rolling out the dough, like clockwork. I fried it on a Ferrari, but, alas, I couldn't wrap the yolk there. I made grilled pita bread from pita bread.
Plus I made dumplings with cheese for the eldest. She rolled out the dough (the dumplings also rolled very well) and laid the ribbons on the dumplings, which are in the form of honeycombs. It took a long time, but I was not tired at all, if I rolled it out with handles, I would wave away.
From the rest of the dough, I quickly cut the noodles into a nozzle.
I'm happy with the attachments.

It happens to me when a piece of dough is too large, besides, I try to shove it badly "flattened" ... Usually I treat this bug with smaller portions of the dough and knead it well with my hands before loading it. I make the dough according to the recipe "dough with knives in 21 seconds"
Macha
Phew ... I honestly read 32 pages of this topic, I don't pull anymore ...
My selection problem is not standard.
I am probably one of the oldest MUM users. My Boss Family Economy is at least 25 years old and is still in service, although now it works only at one speed - maximum and is used as a meat grinder. Probably, this is one of the first deliveries to the country. Its power is 450W. Visually, it corresponds to series 4. In those days, a lot of bells and whistles were bought for it - these are additional graters, and a mill with millstones, and an ice cream maker.
Now the base itself with the basic set has been sent to survive (funny, but it will not die for 8 years) to one country (I live in two countries), and gadgets are practically idle in another. In such a situation, I need a new base for these additional devices. Not bulky, with reasonable power, because my experience shows that even with a power of 450, everything is perfectly kneaded, grinded for many years, provided that the hands grow from that place ...
Tempting nozzle "cube", but this is for the fifth series?
I beg you, give me an unequivocal answer - nozzles for the 4th series do not fit anywhere else? Or I will formulate it differently: can any base with a "cube" be combined with attachments (grating discs, ice cream maker, mill) from the 4th series?

Dear forum users, Happy New Year !!! Peace, happiness and prosperity !!!
Santa Claus wants to give me Bosch MUM 52120 on NG. There are not many reviews about this model, but I want to ask who has it. What's your impression, isn't the power too small? On the complete set, everything suits me.The next model Bosch MUM 54251 is certainly more powerful, but the price is also 215 cu. e against 128y. e. Is it worth overpaying?
Kadabra
Hello! I have MUM 54251 and I can only compare it with MUM 4880.
The power of the 4 series is only 600 watts, but this was enough for my eyes. I changed the harvester only because of the cube cutter. The old MUM 4 did an excellent job with moderately stringy meat (the main thing is to cut it into strips), and with dough for dumplings and noodles, I made mayonnaise with a blender almost instantly, I generally keep quiet about yeast dough - I can't knead it with my hands.
I have a new harvester for 1.5 years: I am completely satisfied. By the way, I rub cabbage for dumplings on a coarse grater (faster than it turns out with Burner), and then it is stewed very quickly and it is easier to sculpt dumplings with finely chopped cabbage (at least for me). Vegetables for vinaigrette (I make it a lot and quite often) I clean longer than I cut with a combine. Of the shortcomings, I can only say about the small hole in the meat grinder (where to put the meat), but this is not critical. And even when kneading the dough, it happens that you need to help a little to collect flour from the walls, but this does not bother me. So if the cube cutter is not important, then feel free to take 52, personally, I don't notice a big difference because of the power, but I'm not fond of all sorts of "delights"
starling
I have 54251 for 5 years, probably, I'm happy with everything except the bowl (I don't have enough for yeast dough), if I bought it now, I wouldn't save on power (but I have nothing to compare it with), but I wouldn't take any devices except a meat grinder at all. The blender was broken a few years ago by children when they themselves made a cocktail, I'm not bored, a shredder is needed only for decent volumes because you won't collect cabbage soup, a cube cutter is also too much even for a salad (well, if you don't make a bucket, of course). This is purely my opinion and my experience ...
metel_007
Kadabra, starling, girls, thanks for the feedback. I think 700 watts of power is enough for me for a mixer, my manual one has 300, I don't need a meat grinder. I'll sleep one more night with this thought and tomorrow I will finally make up my mind.

Has anyone used Bosch MUM58K20 and Bosch MUM54D00?

What are your impressions?
Nozzles are not interested yet. Needed for kneading all types of dough and preparing minced meat for ham.
By the way, little has been written about ham (or have I read poorly?). How does MUM5 cope with it? How much do you knead the minced meat until white threads appear? I would be grateful for any info
Anchic
MSU, Svetlana, any mixer will cope with kneading minced meat, this is not too difficult a task for them. I even kneaded with a tame Bosch.

Anna, thanks!
And how long to knead with a manual Bosch? Heavy? (I already have a ham maker, I have a hand mixer - I want to try it. I was tortured with a kneader - I just can't choose, it shies from Boman and Klatronic to budget Kenwoods. I hope that Bosch is the golden mean)

MSU, I knead minced meat for ham in a Bosch MUM-5 combine.
I bought an additional Flexi whisk for the combine - in general, it turns out great.

Food processor Bosch MUM 5 ...

Svetlana, the hand at first gets tired from habit. In general, it is not very difficult. The mixer does the main work, and I just direct. You need to knead with spirals. Try it.
MSU
Taia, Taya, Thank you! And what is it called correctly? Was on the official website of Bosch and could not find it among the attachments for MUM5 - it's a shame
Anna, I will definitely try, thanks - otherwise, maybe, well, this dough mixer! - my kitchen is just tiny.
