Good day!
Well, now I am the happy owner of the Redmond RMC-M 4502 Multicooker!
After reading everything that could be read about the multicooker, I decided to buy it! I doubted for a long time and chose, but in the end I chose! I haven't cooked anything yet (in fact, I just brought it home), but I hope I won't be disappointed in the purchase =)
Lagri
Veronia__90, congratulations on your purchase! The cartoon is excellent, you will not be disappointed! Now everything will be much easier and more fun in the kitchen! Great meals for you!
Lagri
You can start with milk porridge and soups. I always cook milk porridge in Multipovar at 100 degrees. Vkuuusno! And I cook soups, putting all the products at once, even meat. You can bake a charlotte with apples on the Pastry. Also very good and fast. Enjoy your purchase and enjoy cooking. There are a bunch of recipes. You will soon forget about the gas stove.
Veronia__90
Yesterday I tested my cartoon) I was pleased with the result! I made chicken fillet with steamed broccoli, and just cooked rice. I was very pleased with the rice! It turns out great!
Experiments continue today. I want to cook oatmeal milk porridge =)
Veronia__90
Please tell me, has anyone cooked milk porridge with a delayed start, from evening to morning?

I read somewhere that the flakes foam and can run away and stain the lid, valve.
Yes, and they cook quickly, so there is no point in setting in advance. Now, if it were grain oats, then another matter.
Lagri
Well, you can probably put on a Multipovar at 100 degrees for 10-20 minutes. She prepares quickly. Only not on the Kasha regime, he will definitely run away there while they sleep. First, of course, you should try to cook without a delayed start and see how the porridge behaves, and then cook at a delayed start.
Veronia__90
I decided not to risk it for the night and put it on the water. It was cooked well, it just seems a little stuck ... It is necessary to cook with milk under supervision, until it has mastered all the functions and modes.
Lagri
Here in the video, it is boiled for only 5 minutes at 100 degrees.

Oh, how delicious! I did it both with mushrooms and without mushrooms - it's still delicious. A very good recipe for chicken fillet, and what is more, so quickly. Recommend.

We must try)
And I baked a charlotte with oranges) modified it a little: I missed it with sour cream =) I didn't even have time to try it, I'm waiting for the tea to warm up)

Well done! Delicious for tea. Well, how's it going with herculean porridge?
Veronia__90
I put it on a timer for the night, though I boiled it in water so that I don't boil over until I see it. In fact, the point was not entirely in porridge, but in checking the timer, Kashka turned out to be good, tasty) And now I studied the delayed start function a little.
Manna
Well, I cleaned up this topic, collected all the most important HERE.

The Cooking-Normal (or Cooking-Express) mode can be set in two ways: 1.to enter this mode through the menu
2. go through the buttons on the multicooker panel.
What is the difference? I read somewhere that in one of these methods, the program itself turns off when the liquid is evaporated.Do not specify which one (through the menu or through the buttons on the panel)?
Rarerka
in this multi there is no touch program with shutdown after evaporation. there is no difference in the methods of switching on, anyway, use the button on the panel to select the "type" of cooking
Lagri
There is definitely, I used it before, because I read about it, but time passed and I forgot. I rarely use these modes. Mostly with a Multi-Cook and a few others. I have a 2012 Redmond with the Kasha program.
Rarerka
well then try to turn on this and that ... on touch programs when turned on, the time is not displayed, as far as I know
Lagri
It is not displayed immediately, but 15 minutes before the end of the program, the time is set - 15 (for cooking-Normal) and 10 (for cooking-Express)
Rarerka
: girl_cray: but I don’t have this .... although they bought it in 2013, there should also be not an old model ... Masha, but how does it turn on So? I'll go now to check right away !!!
Lagri
It seems that it is necessary to turn it on through the buttons on the panel, then the time will be set at the end of the program. It will be necessary tomorrow morning - I'm sitting here remembering ... For the Regular mode, the program is somewhere about 1 hour (before the liquid evaporates, but you also need to observe the liquid-cereal ratio), and Express - less than an hour. I used it all the time in 2012.
Rarerka
through the buttons on the panel just cooked buckwheat, the time is fixed shows immediately
Mar_k
Purchased in November 2012 and on the Warka button:
Express 25 min
Normal 1 hour
Porridge 10 minutes

The time setting can be changed. The countdown starts as soon as you press Start
Lagri
And my model is from the beginning of 2012 and there is no fixed time, it was done later. I only have the time set on the Kas program - 10 minutes. But on the other hand, in my cartoon, you can check the heating temperature, and in later models this was removed.

And how it happened, describe how you set the mode and what's next ... You probably have a multicooker like Mar_k.

But this is interesting.

Exactly as Marina described it. The modes are the same and the time can be changed, and the temperature does not show
Lagri
Well, not bad too. It's better than a screen with no signs of life and you need to manually turn off the program, monitor the cooking. We just put it in and forget it.
Rarerka
I love my Redik very much! "put and forget" works!
Rina
Do the girls currently present in the sale of this model of multicooker work correctly? At the beginning of the topic it was mentioned that the modes were messed up, is this fixed? Can I recommend this slow cooker to my cousin as a gift for his mom?
Rarerka
Everything always worked for me correctly (t-t-t). The menu is all in Russian, it's easy to use, the milk never ran away, nothing burned on the baked goods, it just pops up. The pan itself is delightful. Thick, solid, high-quality coating. I never regretted that I took it exactly
Irma
Rina, the modes are now working as expected. You can safely advise, for the quality and functions I really like it. The second year went like I use it with my son. And we make baked goods and sour cream and steamed and cutlets in it. When frying, we make cheese cakes in it, so for some reason it tastes better than in a frying pan.
Lagri
Rina, I have a model from the beginning of 2012 and also always worked without any jambs. As stated in the instructions, this is how all the programs worked. And as for the Porridge program, you can cook any porridge on it in water and everything will work out, only there was a problem with dairy products - and it was recommended to cook milk porridge on Multipovar at 100 degrees. The multicooker is excellent, I have never regretted that I bought it. Works great for the 3rd year. And now, all the more, they are releasing multi-modified ones, so you can safely recommend it, I think so.

Purchased in autumn 2012, it works correctly on all programs, there are no claims to work! So I would recommend it!

I also have Redmond, but rms-01.
I want to ask - I have a 2 liter bowl. Enough for a lot.
But it takes a certain place. And your multi has 5 liters.
She's not that huge ??
Rarerka
for example, I have a steamer, bread maker and cartoon constantly connected to my desktop. everything on one table. it all depends on what kind of work surface you can afford to "donate" for the technique. I am not constrained by technology and I am comfortable. 5L is just right for me, but with 2 liters. I don't even know what I would do
by the way, the cartoon is much smaller in size than my bread machine (Bork X500)

How many instruments! ))) Doesn't your bread bake a cartoon? I went to the multicooker, trying to replace all the other kitchen appliances with it.

A slow cooker will bake bread if you knead the dough.
Rarerka
That's right, she can bake ready-made dough, she is not subject to what HP can, knead HP and MV, my most "working" assistants. They do not replace each other, but complement each other.

You cannot replace all kitchen appliances with a multicooker! Well, an option if you just buy yourself an Orson Kitchen Machine or Thermomix! And so, having bought MV, you will only feel the taste for life, you will want more and more! Your wish is just beginning to activate, hold on, resilience will not interfere with us!
In MV, it is very good to bake, but in order to get a baked and beautiful top on both sides of the bread, you need to turn the bread over, and bake pies, but he bakes cool biscuits, and many pies too!
Unlike a small one, a large one will take about 2 in length and one and a half in width!

With every word of your message, my inner voice screamed "more! Mooore !!!".
I have had a bread maker for a long time (she is now 15 years old, at least), the bread in it is amazing to this day. During this time, only the belt was changed.
And the multicooker is already not enough for me (((I want her to cook several dishes at once! And dumplings to cook, and biscuits at the same time) And most importantly - mannik. I love it

Well, at least this will have to be a little housekeeper =), otherwise, with a multicooker, I was lazy.
She really simplifies the work in the kitchen.

I have a girlfriend, too, in the kitchen all "overlaid" with appliances - and a combine, and a multicooker, and a meat grinder, and a coffee machine .. it's scary to think about what else she has)
with these assistants we will soon become like the people in the Wall-E. Chubby who only give orders by voice and eat
Mar_k
At the same time you can: steamed cutlets + buckwheat, rice ...Fish with a side dish will turn out at the same time, many dishes that can be cooked at once! The biscuits turn out to be very high, so the dumplings will not enter, but you can look at the pressure cooker, it works even faster, for example, this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=310154.0

Well, then they will cook tasty and healthy for me, so as not to swell!
Although with the advent of CF, our food has become healthier than before!

I made a mannik tonight in my evening. horror. I can’t tear myself away. I ate half myself
how to stop overeating, if everything turns out so tasty and just gets.
Mar_k
Yes Yes! I sometimes bake and eat the same half, so I try to bake in the late afternoon, so that my husband comes and ate with the children, but I just like that, a little bit!
Alex30
hello, tell me, this model has a function heating shutdown?
Mar_k
Not! Model 70 and 90 have it for example
Alex30
ATP for the answer, helped a lot :)
