Irina, your mother will also succeed, it is very simple there.
And let me give you some advice, if it comes in handy.
Surely you often go to your mother, and so, you can weigh the dry ingredients for one baking and put in a bag, mom will only have to add water and oil, and pour the rest out of the bag. I think that 5 or 10 sachets and it will not be difficult for you to weigh.

Hello everyone! The instructions for the bread maker say that you need a special socket with grounding.
Question: can the stove be plugged into a regular outlet?

Actually, all modern appliances, cars, microwave ovens, etc. should be plugged into such sockets, but I don't have any, I live in a private house, so I plug it into a regular outlet, but for safety reasons, when they work, I'm in "them" I don't get on, that's all!

What is the recipe for rye? I have 340 g of peeled rye, and 160 wheat of the 1st grade, for 300 g of water, the super recipe (for me) I'm also a beginner I took a little less flour, and water, it was easier, now it’s a recipe, but both are great baked !!!
Sabrina, and do not share the recipe?

They also brought me a few bags of oat bran recently. Maybe someone will share a tried and tested simple bran bread?

And I will also show my bread

And how do they look, the bran, I bought fiber today, and it turned out that this is the "husk" that I confused with the bran. And I have bran as "sausages" or as my husband says "compound feed" is the infection
And the recipe was given by a friend, where I got it, I don't know! In blue, these are my changes.

Ingredients:
2st. l. conc. (dry) kvass (sold in the summer season in stores) pour mountains. water = 300 ml.
(300 ml of water + 2 teaspoons of kvass wort) or (300 g of Leeds dark kvass)
2st. l. rast. oils,
2-3 st. l apple cider vinegar (2 boxes)
1 egg (average)
salt 1.5 tsp
honey 1 tsp(no, I didn't)
sugar 1 tbsp. l
rye flour 250g seeded (340 peeled rye)
wheat flour 250g (160 wheat 1 grade)
dry yeast 1.75 h. l
Weight 500-750 gr
The crust is medium. Program No. 1 (main)

I also add 2 tablespoons of fiber here!

I put flour when peeled, and when sown, everything works out well. According to this recipe, the bread turns out to be plump, "real", I sometimes take 250 water, and 460 flour in total, but there is more rye (280 X 180), the bread is lighter, airy, but my men like it more densely.

Good bread, and the shape is class, and the size is what you need, oh .. I'll definitely buy the next big stove!
And yeast or sourdough bread, which it seems to me I will never master. Tomorrow I'm going to Komarovka for malt, if I find it, of course

Thank you for the recipe and good reviews :) Yeast bread, I don't even aim at sourdough yet. I want to master yeast first. The loaf, in fact, is not very large, it is 8-10 cm high. I don’t know how much I hung it, somehow I didn’t think to weigh it. But we don't need a big one, we don't eat a lot of rye. We have enough such a loaf for three days, and sometimes more.
The bran is fiber-like, finely ground.

On Komarovka two weeks ago I saw malt in the covered market in a stall. If you face the exit to the open market, this stall is on the right - along the wall opposite the row where homemade cottage cheese is sold. A small stall, there was also linseed oil, chicory. In general, I think you will find, there are not many of these stalls. The malt was in a white, translucent plastic can, as if from under mayonnaise. 500, something like 20 thousand. I haven't bought it yet, as I have three more packs of dry kvass, I will use it for now.

three packs of dry kvass, I will use it for now.

But I don't "run into" dry kvass, but our concentrate for some reason the whole of last year's bottling is 8 months, right where it was for almost a year, and where this year, it is waiting in the warehouse next year, I wanted to buy something fresh.
Rye is also enough for me, only the form is cool, unusual.
But these are all little things !!!

Well, all the same, then I had bran, it means they were, well, okay, they are very similar to each other, that bran, that fiber, in appearance it cannot be determined

Thanks for the congratulations.
The husband was first of all interested in the process, in the second - in the result. He liked the bread, asked to bake the same loaf and go to work.
For me, the "first pancake" is somehow not very good: it tastes sweet and there is a taste of yeast. I will change the yeast and try different white bread recipes or modify this one a little. I want to try using milk or mineral water instead of water. And I also think to buy an electronic scale in the store, fiddling with flour (with a measuring glass that comes with the stove) somehow did not fit.
It's funny - I downloaded the instructions for the stove from the Scarlett website and compared it with the one given in the store. The one downloaded from the site contains a recipe for cornbread, mine does not.
For fun, I also downloaded the instructions for the SC-401. I'll see what interesting things can be found there. Coached myself in a notebook of recipes from the site. Boom to experiment.

Yeah, I also started with this: first a bread maker, then a scale, then a multicooker, a food processor, a blender, then came the spoon-bowls, and there is no end to it

And I have the last stove, I think so, there was so much else; it seemed that everything that can be bought for the kitchen has everything !!! But they (the manufacturers) invent everything new and new, and they are so weak for such things. Yes, and my husband does not drive, there are no brakes
and there is no extra money, and I still manage to buy it!

You only think so. You are only a month on the forum, but wander around the topics a little and see how many more "Wishlist" will appear
I'm also strained with money, but all the same what little things I constantly buy
variety
And I have everything as not with people - in the beginning there were scales And the bakery appeared only a year later!
Also, for now, I plan to stop at the bakery, although ... I still really want an ice cream maker ... But there are no decent models in Minsk. There are a couple of "non-freeze-dried" ones, but I want it to be normal, and I also want a 3-in-1 electric sandwich maker, or an electric frying pan, so that you can bake cutlets and pancakes on both sides at once without turning over, and something else !!! And I also want to buy a plastic sieve mug, but so far I can't find it anywhere!
And with finances I have ... like everyone else -

But I'm not a deviceaholic, before I want something, let alone buy, I think-weigh-doubt for a long time, and usually choose very carefully (the bakery became an exception in this sense. I thought for about two years whether it was worth buying x / p, but when I saw Skarlusha for a stock in the 5th element and the price for it, I somehow immediately decided to buy. Just half a day before making the final decision, I read this thread).

I saw on sale metal sieve mugs, but I just want a plastic one, so that I can safely hold it over the bucket, for some reason it seems to me that I can accidentally scratch the coating in the bucket.

I also bought a plastic sieve mug yesterday. Very convenient indeed.
Yesterday I baked white bread from the instructions, but with warmed milk, and slightly changed the amount of salt and sugar. The bread rose better. My husband said that the bread was a success, but somehow I was not very good again - because of the taste of yeast. Tell me what to do so that it is not felt in bread?

I guess I confused them with saf-levure
Quote: Viki

Manufacturer's recommendations:
Dry active yeast "Saf-Levyur" is recommended for making breads with sugar content up to 8% by weight of flour. In formulations that are sufficiently high in sugar and fat, excessive amounts of glutathione can cause weakening of gluten and loss of dimensional stability. In addition, large dosages (over 1%) can cause a specific yeast odor.
Dry active yeast "Saf-Levyur" requires mandatory activation. To do this, it is necessary to dissolve the yeast in warm water 35-38C (lower or higher temperatures can lead to a loss of yeast activity) in the ratio: 5 parts of water to 1 part of yeast, evenly distributing the yeast over the surface and letting stand for 10-15 minutes. Mix. After that, you can add cold water and dilute the yeast to the desired density and temperature of the suspension. A yeast suspension with a temperature of 16-20 ° C retains its enzymatic activity for 6-8 hours.
Quote: Admin

The saf-moment can be put dry in the dough, and the saf-levure must first be dissolved in water. See the amount of application on the yeast packaging. We usually use the same proportions.

They would still be on sale to find (I'm talking about "Saf-moment"), so in general it would be great. We have either "Pripravych", or "Yuva", or some kind of Chinese.

I like our manufacturers - they write that yeast is fast-acting and immediately indicate in the method of application " Pour a bag of yeast into 50 ml. warm water (35-38 ° C), add 1 teaspoon of sugar and put in a warm place for 10-15 minutes to rise, then stir thoroughly. ". The same surprise and yeast from the" Magic Tree "is presented. I suspect that in fact your" Prypravych "are not fast-acting, but simply active, but the manufacturer is either for greater importance, or for the sake of sales, or simply by stupidity got the inscription "fast-acting", and the consumer then thinks why he has the taste of yeast in the finished product?
P.S. And here I smell Saf-Levure, even previously "wound up", in white bread very strongly feel. Therefore, I use this yeast for rye with malt.

The packaging says "fast acting dry active". I don’t know why it was written, but ... I put it in flour - sorry, the bread "smells" of yeast. I breed in water - there is no taste or smell.

If the service center is nearby, then find out, maybe they will change it. And if not, then this does not affect the quality of baking, you will still use it.

This is clearly a factory defect, probably the coating was broken when the screws were screwed in
But that's not your fault it will be difficult to prove
