Hello, tell me what extra. nozzles need to be bought for Karcher 1020. It is supposed to clean tiles, clean glasses, doors, steaming carpets, cleaning textile coverings. I previously read about it in this section, but I can't find the page in any way.
I am planning a purchase in the very near future.
Thank you in advance.
Marusya
NINELLE, I bought an additional set of round brushes for this model. I also bought a wiper Steam cleaner (steam generator)

And what does almost mean? Is there any inconvenience in handling?

I do not use a spray bottle, my windows are with a steam generator. and then I collect the water with a glass cleaner. You can buy a nozzle for cleaning windows Steam cleaner (steam generator)

Quote: kirch

So you like the wiper itself? Thinking about buying it

Yes, there is no inconvenience, on the contrary, everything is very convenient and easy.
And most importantly - there is no water, dirt, everything is dry and clean. A very handy thing. If possible, buy.
But there is a lot of water from the window nozzle ... If you start washing windows with it, this is, consider, a general cleaning ...

Song, looked at the advertisement that you indicated, did not understand a little, is this water going to this bottle? I see that it is purely so.
After steam treatment, I have so much water, I have to wipe it clean, and if you just use a glass nozzle, then all the water flows down to the windowsill.

Is there water going to this bottle?

Yes. All water is collected in a container. That's why it's dry. And clean.

* Tanya *, if suddenly you have 40 windows, then this unit will be too small for you ... you have to wash it in turn ..., but otherwise it is super.
* Tanya *
Oh, no, thank God, not 40 One each in two rooms, one in the kitchen and one in the hall too. But here are two more built-in wardrobes in the bedroom and in the hallway,
they are completely mirrored, I always suffer with them. Indeed, as soon as you decide to do everything quickly, cleaning will take half a day
And now I looked at the advertisement, how easy everything is and quickly, I also want to uuu
Not true
Hurrah! I ordered myself a Karcher 5800, now the main thing is not to be disappointed

Yesterday in Auchan I saw this for 2500 rubles, while the price tag was 2000, and at the checkout it turned out to be 2500, well, I posted it. Now I think we’ll be in vain?

I have it, or rather the next model W70, I want it for four months already ...

Good evening everyone! So many useful things, straight eyes run up

* Anyuta *, can I try you about Odyssey, do you still use it? Does the broken tip get in the way? Is it accidentally broken or fragile? In the description they give a temperature of +135, in the instructions I found +98.Where is the truth? I really want a steam cleaner, a large one seems to be unnecessary, but this one is small and the price is pleasant! I’m looking at the clathronic, are you still studying, the little one doesn’t cope or is it just that you need an assistant? Please share, based on your feedback Thank you!

Girls, I also read about the Grand Master GM-VSC38 Luxe, but I didn’t seem to get caught on the forum, can anyone have it, how is he at work?
Tatoshenka
On Wednesday evening my Bouman was brought. The same evening I washed the stove (I was frying a fish just for dinner), washed the microwave, was very pleasantly surprised how he did it quickly and efficiently. And since she poured 700 ml of water, I walked through the sink, cutting boards. And how superbly he coped with the filter on the hood - it's just a fairy tale (y) The water, of course, never ended, but it was too late. The next day I washed the apron and the cuvette in the washing machine in the kitchen and ... I don’t even remember that they washed them, the figurines were washed very well, I have 100,500 pieces of them, at first all my friends-acquaintances decided to give them to me, and so gave until they were told enough.
So that's what I mean, I really liked the software, it does its job with a bang.
Only I did not understand how to properly wash the floor tiles - first go along the seams (with a brush or nozzle?), And then with a floor brush (do I need to put microfiber on it?) Or just with a floor brush?
And a special thank you * Anyuta *, for the fact that she encouraged me to buy this device.
* Anyuta *
Natalia K,
- no, it does not interfere, since I am putting on an extension cord
- it's her fault - but it's fragile .. you need to be careful when using
- I don't know the temperature - I didn't measure it
- I want a big one, because there are more nozzles, including the ability to clean carpets
Natasha K
Thank you, Annie!

Girls, please help !!! Who has a Bissell 16Q1-J or Bomann DR 977 СB or who has heard of them. They urgently asked for a steam cleaner as a gift, but only they are available, and there is no time to study all 114 pages. Confuses bomann with a small tank. Help me please.

But the information from the site KIDS.TO-VAR.COM will suddenly be useful.

User tips for using steam cleaners:

How to clean upholstered furniture with a steam cleaner:

Tip 1: The nozzle should be directed at an angle to the surface, as if blowing the stain onto a cloth.

Tip 2: Stains on upholstered furniture should be treated with steam, and immediately wiped thoroughly with a microfiber cloth (it sucks up dirt like a vacuum cleaner)

Advice 3: "Clean" upholstered furniture with a steam cleaner even when it does not seem to need it !!! The "knocked down" pile and the old look disappear, a new sofa appears)) All bacteria, fungus, moth and its larvae on the treated surfaces, clothes, and upholstered furniture are destroyed.

Usage tips:
Tip 1: Stock up on rags before cleaning. More and different, since all surfaces must be wiped off. The steam kind of dissolves the dirt and if you don't wipe it off, it will dry out, but in a thinner layer.

Tip 2: Use ONLY purified water (from a filter, from an air conditioner)

Tip 3: Dust from flowers is perfectly blown off, leaves are cleaned (if you remove the attachments). Do not bring close to flowers !!!

Tip 4: You can clean the carpet, carpets. First, steam well with a steam cleaner, so that the carpet becomes slightly damp. After a few hours, go for a regular vacuum cleaner. Not an option for daily cleaning.

Advice 5: Scotch tape can be easily removed from furniture !!! Steam with a steam cleaner and dry with a cloth.

Tip 6: You can "steam" natural fur. The wool straightens beautifully, stops smelling of dust and starts to shine like new!

Tip 7: You can steam disinfect children's toys. And also, "clean" them (see above how to clean upholstered furniture)

Tip 8: If you are cleaning the microwave - unplug it from the power supply and then let it dry (otherwise there may be a Short Circuit)

Tip 9: It is better to pre-moisten strong limescale with vinegar.

Tip 10: If you are cleaning confined spaces (microwave, bath, refrigerator), cover the gun with a rag on top.

Tip 11: If you pause during work, steam condenses in the hose, so do not forget to drive this water into the sink or onto a rag.

Advice 12: If you run out of water, but you need to continue - unplug the device from the network, release the pressure through the gun, calmly open and top up!

Tip 13: If you need to clean something (old, difficult to remove) - it is better to put on a point nozzle and "blow" and clean it at the same time !!! Much better effect!

Advice 14: When you wash the surfaces from grease with a brush (the nozzle is so round) so that it does not get clogged, dip it in dishwashing liquid (put it in a saucer separately, under no circumstances pour it into the tank !!!)

Tip 15: When cleaning fabrics or faux fur, the steam jet should be directed at an angle, using a cloth so that the dirt seems to be knocked out of the fabric, and not driven inside.

Tip 16: Is the tip broken / broken? Go to the Service Center (addresses and phone numbers in the Warranty Card) - there you can order the required steam cleaner attachment for a fee or free of charge (as you are lucky).

My Clathronic is very similar to Bomann. The reservoir is enough to wash the inside of the refrigerator, stove, and a lot of other little things. And in the summer she steamed a light jacket with a bunch of pockets and locks, and then "attached" the rest of the steam, there was still a lot of it.

Thank you! Is the steam really hot, under 100 degrees? And then Bisell writes 60-70 - is this t enough ???

sure that the WV70, not the 75? I didn’t find one. And so, 75, as far as I looked at the manufacturer's website, differs only in the presence of an additional narrow nozzle 17 cm.
I looked at this cleaner for a gift from my mother-in-law, but it seemed to me personally that it was not so necessary. He doesn't steam clean! The principle is the same as for a simple window cleaning: splashing, rubbing, holding with a "rubber band". And so, I don’t know, when I wash my windows, my water doesn’t run in liters, so I have to suck it straight in. Now, if it were a mini steam cleaner for windows ...
On the other hand, I'm thinking about whether this thing will be able to suck in water after cleaning with a steam cleaner, in which there is no such function ...

Today she made herself and her family happy with the ODYSSEY Q-402 steam cleaner. I already made a noise, but the questions did not diminish

"Anyuta", I'm back to you, can I? I poured water, the instructions write no more than 270 ml, you pour more and all the way right? She turned it on, a little time passed, he squealed, a cat with a smooth tail turned into a fish ball! Did I seem to screw the lid down badly? And how to understand where the limit is, it scrolls me ... I pulled it up in the manner of jars with protection from children, it seems no longer squeals.

Further more, wrote the readiness time 4 minutes, well, yes the steam went, but it is not very hot - the hand is not hot, although the teapot feels hot inside. When the water was then poured out like boiling water ... Can you describe your steam in more detail? And in general, the pressure is impressive!

Yes, today I bought Karcher WV 75 plus, for 2390 rubles in M-Video!

Only this, of course, is not a steam cleaner, it just sucks in the liquid.
Today I have already washed the windows (except for the loggia, it is still cold), it was quick, clean and easy.
Earlier, when I just washed with a steam cleaner, I really liked everything, only a lot of water, including dirty streams, flowed.
Today, absolutely EVERYTHING was clean and dry, and comfortable, and FAST!

If it is possible to buy a windshield wiper, then take it, and if the budget is in doubt, then the most important thing is to have a STEAM CLEANER! Without him, just nowhere !!!

Natalia K, I also have Q 402, the steam is not very hot, but sometimes you can burn your hand. I think the steam cools down as it passes through the nozzles. when I connect a long hose, I hold it by the white plastic part, it is not hot there. But it still cleans well. Very happy. Cleanliness and no chemistry
Natasha K
Great arrival in our regiment! Rosemary, how long have you had it?
rosemary
Not recently, a couple of months, maybe a little more, thanks to your favorite bread maker! I use all attachments. I didn't clean only the windows, we are waiting for the spring
Oca
Yesterday I took out my Q-801, drove my husband to disassemble the balcony into window sections - put them on the floor, whack-whack and you're done! 9 windows and a door at one gas station The flood did not happen, because the steam supply in this steam tank is regulated! I put it on "light smoke" and cost two rags for the entire cleaning time. Only the rubber band around the edges of the nozzle leaves a little bit of unhealthiness around the frame, literally the width of a drop, but these are trifles

you can push it .. just what is the point? then it will be harder to open ... Twist so that it is "tight" .. here the degree of "twisting" of the lid is difficult to explain, and even more so to describe ... here, as it were, on an intuitive level, "it is necessary to act" ..

about steam - rosemary already answered.

Yesterday I used a steamer ... I twisted it so that it was "tight" .. that is, to say that I twist the lid until the lid turns - I did not succeed even once ..... and I didn't I try to this state ... that is, if you read the topic, then remember the posts where the girls could not unscrew the lids after work .. so apparently they then tightened the lids "to victory" ...
rosemary
I once tried to twist to the victorious, but stopped in time, probably the manufacturers need to ask why these "scrolls" were made. but this does not affect the operation of the steam engine. steams well

For the first time I didn’t "twist" it, he whistled so much, I thought it would take off So, in confusion, where to turn, well, I’m poking! And so the weight is good!

Girls, the lid does not open immediately thoughtfully: it is necessary for the steam to cool down a little and release the pressure, so that it does not accidentally douse with hot steam. I read somewhere on the Internet that advanced deviceaholics call it "fool-proof":
And I, with my opinion about additional nozzles for Karcher 1020: I did not like the nozzle for washing the windows - the condensate from the steam flows down the glass, threw it and rubbed it with a napkin. But I liked the attachment for textiles and clothes: thin things like cambric blouses were perfectly smoothed yesterday. Here are how many people - so many opinions: on the internet, many consider this attachment useless ...
I am more than happy with the steam cleaner!

far from it ..in my model of steam generator I can open the lid at any time and "bleed" the steam manually ...

if it were so dangerous. then it would be impossible to open the lid in more than one model of Cromax (odessia) ... but here you twist it a little and the steam "bleeds" through 2 holes, and not in all directions ... again, it is possible that in other PG this impossible to do because of the "hot" steam, but with this steam you can make a "face sauna" - even special. nozzle available .....

True, my leg was burnt by the child's PG last month ... .. he leaned close to his leg and pressed the steam supply .. but it seems to me that the wound was more from a "hot" nozzle than from the steam itself ...
Stafa
You see, it bleeds off first, through the holes. Count it up, open the pressure cooker right away, but here is the same, pressure and boiling water.
* Anyuta *
Well, that's what I'm saying .. that it depends on the model ...

Girls, hello.
I spent all day yesterday, but read the entire thread. I have wanted a steam generator for quite some time, but here, after reading ...
I can’t afford it in any way - we moved into a house, and it requires large investments, now we are ennobling the yard, but I was impatient with PG. I opted for Odyssey 801. Ooooochen I want to treat the floors on the first floor - they are porcelain stoneware, the tiles themselves are embossed, it already pisses me off, but I still have to live and live with it. (n) I will also wash the laminate with the handles, it even gives me pleasure.
I understand that such a thing that costs 3900 rubles. cannot be super high quality, but still, I hope that I will use it for a long time.
Girls, who has such a model, please tell me, is it worth taking, or should I wait, but then take it at a higher price?

I have a steam generator Odysseus 801. I read here about it and really wanted the same. What can I say: I do not like him. It is very large, there are many nozzles, bulky, I had to adapt a bag made of fabric for them - not a bag, but a bag. With my rather large apartment, sticking all this somewhere is very problematic. I washed the floors once and won't do it anymore, I have a laminate, there is a lot of water on the floor, I have to wipe it with a rag, I tried to put a floor rag on the nozzle (I have microfiber) - it's very hard to carry. I washed the tiles in the bathroom, but I didn't feel much enthusiasm, I already had it clean, but the round brush immediately went out of order. It did not work to steam the clothes either, they become wet and have to be dried again. Spits water during operation (all attachments). Adjusting the steam level is inconvenient - you turn the knob and it is not clear whether you decrease or add steam, and so on. You can write a lot, but I think that everything is already clear. The only thing I liked was cleaning the hob. I have a hotpoint ariston gas panel, there is a gap of about 1 mm between the large burner and the panel itself. Soot is constantly collecting there, it is impossible to clean it, but the turbo nozzle cleared the dirt instantly. My advice is not to buy this PG.

* Anyuta *
Quote: olaola1

Spits water during operation (all attachments).
advice for all PGs - control the volume of the water being poured .... when filling the vessel "to a stuck", there is simply NO place to generate steam because of this and spit ... the same thing happened with my steam generator Odyssey 402 ... With a volume of 450 ml - the most optimal volume for me it turned out to be 400 (or even better 380) ml of water ...
And while working continuously, the steam generator also does not have time to generate steam ... so after a few minutes of use, give the steam generator at least 30 seconds to generate steam.
* Anyuta *
And I also want to add ... after the "pampering" of the steam generator for the first month and a half, now I have enough work with it 2 times a month, and once it is only ironing bed linen (duvet cover and sheet) and the amount of water poured for ironing = 300 ml, and 200 ml is already enough for cleaning .. so then I also "bleed off" the rest of the steam ...
Stafa
Now I also work several times a month. Patamu chta became clean.

My PG spits regardless of the amount of water poured in, i.e. spits all the time
