Fried tortillas

Ingredients

Wheat flour 450 g
Kefir 260 ml
Salt 1 tsp
Egg 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • The dough is like dumplings, only kefir instead of water.
  • Knead the dough in HP on the "Dumplings", divide into 4 parts, roll each into a circle, put not too much filling (it's still a flat cake). Pin the edges on top (you can tear off the excess dough so that the top layer does not turn out too thick). Fry in oil in a hot frying pan on both sides, then simmer a little under a lid over low heat.
  • Anything goes into the filling: cabbage (in my photo), cottage cheese with herbs, mashed potatoes ..

It is better to make these cakes in several pieces and freeze them, and then just reheat them in the microwave for breakfast ..

There are open (cheese filling on top) and closed (filling inside). Fast and delicious! For lovers of tortillas, you can cook the dough for a whole week, cut off as much as you need at a time, and so on until the dough runs out.
