Ingredients

Dried apricots 500 g
Frozen raspberries 500 g
Unpeeled lemons 2 pcs.
Gelatin sugar 1 kg

Cooking method

1. Divide each dried apricot into 4 parts and pour into a saucepan with the raspberries. Pour in 900 ml. water and leave to soak for several hours (or better overnight).
2. In a saucepan with dried apricots and raspberries, squeeze the juice from the lemons .. Chop the peel of the lemons and put on a piece of cheesecloth. Make a gauze bag and hang it over the side of the pot.
3. Bring the fruit mixture to a boil. Reduce heat slightly, cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Squeeze the gauze bag and discard.
4. Pour sugar into a saucepan, stir the mixture so that the sugar is completely dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer over high heat for 4 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
Instead of gelatine sugar, you can use regular sugar, but then you need to add a bag of pectin to the fruit mass.
Since I have no pectin, I use Zhelfix.

Inna, what an interesting combination of fruits! Probably thick, how does the jam get?
A recipe for those who did not have time to prepare jam in the summer.
