Raspberry-chocolate jam

Raspberry-chocolate jam

Ingredients

Raspberry 1 kg
Jelly sugar
(for lack of it,
you can use
eg
500 g
Raspberry vodka 2 tbsp. l.
bitter chocolate 100 g

Cooking method

  • This jam can also be made with ordinary sugar, you just need to slightly increase the cooking time ... Raspberry vodka can be excluded (I did so). I think you can put milk chocolate, the main thing is that without filling. Last year I cooked confiture according to this recipe - everyone who tried it loved it!
  • Raspberries need to be mixed with sugar and brought to a boil. If you use jelly sugar, then after the mass has boiled, you need to boil it for 4 minutes, with regular sugar a little longer. Turn the chocolate into shavings, and add to the already cooked jam together with raspberry vodka. Mix. Razl pour into jars and close tightly.

I really like the combination orange - chocolate. An interesting idea, probably after all, you can cook orange-chocolate sweets, and cherry-chocolate
Crochet
Cubic, of course you can! By the way, I am ready to share a proven recipe for cherry and chocolate jam ...
Cubic
Of course share !!! Maybe not all at once, but gradually I think of all sorts of exotic sweets at least in a jar, but I'll cook it !!
Crochet
Cubic, I apologize for being late, but better late than never. So, I share:
Cherry-1 kg.
Sugar-500 gr.
Lemon juice-1 tbsp l.
Dark chocolate-75 gr.
Cognac-2 tbsp. l.
Rinse the cherries and remove the pits. Chop the berries or puree them. Combine berries, lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan, bring mixture to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove and carefully remove the foam. Add chocolate and cognac to the mixture, if desired. Pour the jam into clean, pre-sterilized glass jars and close them. It is recommended to store the jam in a cool place.
In the role of gag, added "Zhelfix 2 + 1" - just a delight !!!

ok, all the same, you can't do everything at once .. while I'm just stocking up on recipes. Although cherry blossoms at the right time, this year its darkness, they sell all around inexpensively - you need to implement it !!!

Girls, I'm a pensioner at five minutes, but I still don't know what zhelfix is and why it is needed. (Although vaguely guessing.) And also - where to buy it.

And one more thing: and from such prosaic berries as black currants and gooseberries, how to make confiture and is it possible?

Jellix is a gelling agent for the quick preparation of gourmet preserves, jams and jellies. With apple and citrus pectin. Sold in almost all major supermarkets, usually in the spice section.

And one more thing: and from such prosaic berries as black currants and gooseberries, how to make confiture and is it possible?

Lydia
As far as possible! And not only is it possible, but also necessary! I understood you correctly, do you want proven recipes? If yes, then I will gladly share my ...
Lydia
Thank you! But can you cook without it? Although I'll try to see if it's for sale ...

Yes, I want proven recipes. There is a gooseberry and asks: "Well, cook something out of me!" Maybe by next season I'll get a confiture box (I dream), but for now I'll cook on the stove.

Crochet, respect for the recipe, I will definitely make a cherry-chocolate with cognac for dad - it's as if it was specially invented for him

and I was tempted by jam
I just bought a kilogram of wild raspberries, instead of raspberry vodka, the juice of 1 lemon. I had sugar like in the photo 400 g and added 100 g of ordinary sugar, I cook in the Bread Maker.
Raspberry-chocolate jam

I'll add chocolate at the end, let's see what happens
And the funny thing is that for 1 kg of raspberries I paid 7 UAH and for a bar of black chocolate 6.50 UAH is the cheapest that I got along the way
I haven't bought chocolate for a long time

using the same method I made apricots from homemade apricots, added about the same amount of sugar, solidified well, half a kg of apricot turned out into two half liter jars

Krosh, how much did you add? And at what stage should this be done?
If you take black currants instead of cherries, probably it will not turn out so tasty?

So it depends on how many berries you want to make the jam. I'm in my HP and 1 kg. and cooked even more (fortunately, the size of the bucket allows). I always pour "Zhelfix" in accordance with the recommendation on the package, that is, per 1 kg. berries-1 sachet, 0.5 kg. berries, respectively, half a bag. If cooked in HP, then "Zhelfix" I fall asleep immediately along with the rest of the ingredients.
As for black currant as an alternative, I can’t say anything, because I haven’t tried it, and to be honest I have little idea of currant with chocolate ... Although, in theory, if you like the taste of black currant and chocolate, I think it should be delicious!
Lydia
Crochet, "Zhelfix" is, there is gooseberry, there is no recipe ...

But I already tried it without a prescription, in accordance with the recommendations on "Zhelfix". For the purity of the experiment, I cooked a little without it. Husband and daughter are unanimous: "Zhelfix" tastes better. She only disgraced herself: I put the Zhelfix down, but forgot to peel the gooseberries. But they also eat up from unpeeled berries!

And I have never done more than according to the instructions for HP ... now I read that jam from HP is stored a little ... is this really so?

The issue of storing jam cooked in HP has already been discussed in this Temka:https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ption=com_smf&topic=897.0, I even with fright digested the jam (cooked in HP) on the stove in a saucepan, I was afraid that it would deteriorate, but I did not touch one jar, to this day it is worth it - both the taste and the appearance, as if just cooked! I don’t know whether this jar was "lucky", or something else, but it has been stored for more than a year ...
